Abstract

Business legality is a crucial aspect of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) development; however, some MSME owners in Mlandingan Village, Situbondo Regency, do not yet possess a Business Identification Number (NIB) due to low digital literacy and limited access to information. This community service initiative aimed to increase NIB ownership through awareness-raising programs and community-based registration assistance. The activities involved observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and direct assistance provided to eight MSME owners selected through purposive sampling. The assistance focused on the NIB registration process via the Online Single Submission (OSS) system and fostering an understanding of the importance of business legality. The results showed that all participants successfully obtained their NIBs. Furthermore, the participants' perceptions of business legality shifted; what was previously viewed as complicated and unimportant came to be seen as a strategic necessity for business development. The program's success was underpinned by a trust-based approach leveraging social networks and local Islamic educational institutions. This initiative demonstrates that participatory, community-based assistance is effective in enhancing MSME business legality at the village level.

Abstract

Nuzulul Qur'an Fest merupakan kegiatan keagamaan yang diselenggarakan dalam rangka memperingati turunnya Al-Qur'an pada bulan Ramadhan sekaligus sebagai sarana pembinaan keagamaan dan pengembangan potensi santri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin Palangka Raya dengan melibatkan seluruh santri putra dan putri. Kegiatan bertujuan menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap Al-Qur'an, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, mengembangkan kreativitas, serta memberikan wadah kompetisi yang positif bagi santri. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahap perencanaan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan perlombaan, dan evaluasi. Adapun perlombaan yang diselenggarakan meliputi tilawah Al-Qur'an, tahfidz Al-Qur'an, cerdas cermat Islam, dan fashion show tokoh-tokoh Islam. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya antusiasme tinggi dari santri serta berkembangnya sikap religius, rasa percaya diri, kerja sama, dan kreativitas peserta. Dengan demikian, Nuzulul Qur'an Fest dapat menjadi media yang efektif dalam pembinaan keagamaan dan pengembangan karakter santri di lingkungan pesantren. Abstract Nuzulul Qur'an Fest is a religious program organized to commemorate the revelation of the Qur'an during the month of Ramadan while fostering students' religious values and personal potential. This community service activity was conducted at Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School, Palangka Raya, involving all male and female students. The activity aimed to strengthen students' love for the Qur'an, encourage self-confidence, develop creativity, and provide opportunities for positive competition. The program was implemented through several stages, including planning, socialization, competition activities, and evaluation. The competitions consisted of Qur'an recitation (tilawah), Qur'an memorization (tahfidz), Islamic quiz competitions, and Islamic character fashion shows. The results showed that the activity received enthusiastic participation from students and contributed to the development of religious attitudes, confidence, teamwork, and creativity. Therefore, Nuzulul Qur'an Fest can serve as an effective medium for religious development and character building among students in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan bagian dari implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa dan dosen Program Studi Ilmu Administrasi Negara di Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Qoni’iyah yang dipimpin oleh KH. Hadad. Pengabdian ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari program sebelumnya yang berfokus pada pipanisasi, dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan lanjutan berupa keterbatasan sarana penunjang pendidikan.Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahap observasi, perencanaan, serta pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam bentuk pemberian bantuan sarana pendidikan dan pendampingan. Bantuan yang diberikan berupa dampar, papan tulis (whiteboard), spidol, serta alat tulis kantor (ATK) guna mendukung proses pembelajaran di pondok pesantren. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa bantuan yang diberikan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar, menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih kondusif, serta meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi santri. Dampak jangka pendek terlihat pada peningkatan ketersediaan fasilitas dan kualitas pembelajaran, sedangkan dalam jangka panjang kegiatan ini berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia serta mendorong kemandirian pondok pesantren dalam mengelola sarana pendidikan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The work readiness of Vocational High School (SMK) students is determined not only by the mastery of technical skills but also by an understanding of the professionalism values required in the professional world. One of the competencies that needs to be developed is an understanding of professional public service, which encompasses service ethics, communication, responsibility, and an orientation toward user satisfaction. This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and work readiness of students at SMK Ryo Yuwaraja through the provision of professional public service values. The implementation method was conducted in four stages: preparation, execution, evaluation, as well as reporting and follow-up. The training sessions were delivered utilizing interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, and public service simulations that engaged active student participation. The results of the activity indicated an increase in students' understanding of professional public service concepts. Students no longer perceived public service merely as an administrative activity, but rather as a process that demands professional attitudes, ethics, effective communication, and accountability in service delivery. Public service simulations proved to be the most effective method in helping students internalize the values of workplace professionalism. In addition to enhancing knowledge, this activity also fostered the development of discipline, responsiveness, and a service-oriented mindset. Consequently, the provision of professional public service values is proven to contribute positively to enhancing the work readiness of vocational school students and strengthening the synergy between higher education institutions and vocational education facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mentoring of Sufistic education in strengthening the religious moderation attitudes of students at UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. The method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques consisting of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the relationship between Sufistic values and religious moderation is manifested in three aspects: tolerance (mahabbah), a balanced stance (tawassuth), and ego control through self-reflection (muhasabah). Furthermore, religious moderation is strongly integrated with nationalism, where national commitment and acceptance of Pancasila as well as the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) are understood as the practice of religious teachings. The measurement of students' religious moderation attitudes is in the excellent category, with the primary indicator demonstrated through a willingness to accept diverse understandings and opinions of others

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM/KKN) aimed to provide assistance to a Village Unit Cooperative (Koperasi Unit Desa/KUD) in obtaining a Business Identification Number (Nomor Induk Berusaha/NIB) as an effort to strengthen business legality. The main problems faced by the cooperative were the absence of an NIB and the limited understanding of cooperative management regarding business licensing procedures through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The method applied in this program employed a participatory and educational approach through several stages, including preparation, socialization, technical assistance, and evaluation. The assistance was carried out directly by guiding cooperative administrators in preparing administrative documents, creating an OSS account, and completing the required data until the issuance of the NIB. The results showed that the assistance successfully facilitated the issuance of an NIB for the Village Unit Cooperative and improved the administrators’ understanding and capacity in managing business legality administration. In addition, there was an increased awareness of the importance of business legality to support the sustainability and development of the cooperative. This program is expected to serve as a model for business legality assistance that can be implemented in other village cooperatives to support rural economic empowerment.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy is an essential competency that needs to be developed from the elementary school level. However, mathematics learning in elementary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah still faces several challenges, including the dominance of procedural learning, limited use of concrete learning media, and teachers' insufficient capacity to integrate numeracy activities into mathematics instruction. This community service program aimed to improve elementary school and madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers' competencies in developing creative mathematics learning based on numeracy literacy through the use of manipulatives. The program employed a participatory training and mentoring approach consisting of needs identification, conceptual strengthening, media demonstration, media development practice, numeracy activity design, learning simulation, and evaluation. The participants were 20 teachers from MI Miftahul ulum Jatiroto, Lumajang. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, skill observations, product assessment, and participant response questionnaires. Based on simulated data, the average teacher competency score increased from 57.75 in the pre-test to 88.00 in the post-test, representing a 52.38% increase with an N-Gain score of 0.72, categorized as high. The teachers also produced four manipulative media products: Place Value Board, Fraction Circle, Creative Geometry, and Math Market. Product assessment resulted in an average score of 4.53 out of 5, categorized as very good, while positive participant responses reached 95%. These findings indicate that practice-based mentoring can be an effective strategy for improving teachers' competencies in developing creative, concrete, contextual, and numeracy-oriented mathematics learning

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the optimization of productive zakat management in the digital age in Sumberbaru Subdistrict by positioning the community as the subject of empowerment. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design combined with Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving zakat administrators, mustahik, muzaki, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data condensation, data presentation, and the drawing and verification of conclusions. The ABCD approach is used to identify and mobilize individual, social, institutional, economic, physical, and digital assets available in the community to support the development of productive zakat. The study focuses on the fund management process, targeting accuracy, support for mustahik, utilization of local assets, use of digital technology, and the sustainability of empowerment programs. This study is expected to demonstrate that the optimization of productive zakat is determined not only by increased fund collection, but also by the quality of governance, the capacity of administrators, community involvement, the utilization of local potential, and the ability to adapt to digital transformation

Abstract

This community service activity aims to optimize the role of women in empowering the family economy of street vendors (Pedagang Kaki Lima/PKL) in Sukosari Village, Jatiroto District, Lumajang Regency. The activity is motivated by the limited participation of female PKL in economic development at the village level, despite their significant potential in supporting family economy. The method employed is counseling and mentoring with a participatory approach involving 30 participants, comprising female street vendors, wives of neighborhood heads, and PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) administrators. The activity was conducted over four months, encompassing stages of survey, entrepreneurship counseling, and evaluation. The results demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of women's role in family economy, enhanced motivation to develop businesses, and heightened awareness of PKL rights in legal protection. The program recommends PKL data collection by local government, facilitation of capital access through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, and a dialogic approach in PKL enforcement and policy-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing interactive learning based on extracurricular activities in strengthening the mastery of muhadasah (speaking ability) and mufradāt (vocabulary) of students at Pondok Pesantren An-Nahdloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation during the International Community Service (KKN) program. The findings reveal that interactive learning integrated with extracurricular activities—such as language games, thematic conversations, and role-playing—significantly enhances students’ participation and confidence in speaking Arabic. The use of contextual learning media, such as mufradāt posters displayed around the dormitory, strengthens students’ visual memory of new vocabulary and fosters a bi’ah lughawiyyah (Arabic-speaking environment) that encourages natural language use in daily life. This study concludes that interactive, extracurricular-based learning effectively improves students’ linguistic competence while cultivating communicative, collaborative, and religious character development
