Abstract

This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) investigates managerial strategies to address the paradox between AI personalization, consumer privacy, and algorithmic trust. This study directly follows up on the research agenda identified by (Athaide et al., 2024) focusing exclusively on the synthesis of solutions. Using a rigorous PRISMA protocol, 57 core journal articles were selected from Scopus and IEEE Xplore, with 84.2% published between 2024-2026. Analysis found that the solution landscape is fragmented, but the most coherent strategies focus on “Governance & Regulation” and “Transparency & Control.” The main contribution of this SLR is the Strategic Prioritization Framework, supported by the empirical finding that user control/agency can be a stronger driver of adoption than trust itself. We conclude that ethical personalization strategies must prioritize user control and XAI as foundations for building trust.

Abstract

The paradigm shift that has occurred in the workplace due to the massive use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) requires a comprehensive and structured understanding of its impact on human capital. This research is a systematic literature study that aims to integrate and analyze empirical findings from scientific journals. The analysis identified four main challenges: (1) skill gaps and the incompatibility of the competencies possessed by the current workforce in the AI era; (2) jobs that widen income inequality; (3) ethical risks such as in the recruitment process, performance evaluation, and employee data privacy; and (4) a decline in critical thinking skills. Not only challenges have emerged, but there are also positive opportunities arising from the use of AI. The positive aspects are the creation of collaboration between humans and AI that can increase productivity, the creation of new jobs, and the encouragement of human creativity and innovation. This study examines the importance of balance between humans and AI to build an adaptive and fair human resource ecosystem in an era of rapid technological development.

Abstract

This study examines the role of leadership agility in managing digitalization and regulatory implementation within Indonesia’s trucking logistics industry. The main research question explores how logistics company leaders develop adaptive and leadership agility amid increasing digital transformation and government regulations. A qualitative approach using the interpretative phenomenological method was applied to understand the subjective experiences of three groups of participants: logistics regulator, logistic company leader, and logistic company employee. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and analysis of digital logistics policy documents. The study focuses on several forms of digitalization implemented in the industry, including the Transport Management System (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Single Truck Identification Data (STID), and Terminal Booking System (TBS), which have reshaped coordination and operational processes in logistics companies. Findings indicate that leadership agility is reflected in leaders’ ability to integrate digital innovation with regulatory compliance, foster adaptive learning cultures, and strengthen cross-stakeholder collaboration. The discussion highlights how balancing leadership flexibility with policy stability becomes a crucial factor for successful digital transformation. The study concludes that leadership agility plays a strategic role as a bridge between technological innovation, regulatory governance, and operational sustainability in Indonesia’s logistics sector.

Abstract

This study centers on the central research question of how digital leadership functions to prepare organizations for the future in the context of accelerating technological transformation and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). The advancement of digital technologies necessitates a paradigm shift in leadership, from traditional models towards approaches that are inherently adaptive, collaborative, and oriented toward innovation. Employing a literature study methodology, this research analyzes a body of conceptual and empirical work to identify the key competencies required for digital leaders. These competencies include technological literacy, emotional intelligence, adaptive capability, and ethical awareness in managing human-AI collaboration. The synthesis of findings indicates that digital leadership plays a strategic role in fortifying an innovative culture, enhancing organizational performance, and building institutional readiness and resilience against technological disruption. Furthermore, this study highlights a significant gap in the literature, particularly in developing nations such as Indonesia, where empirical studies on developing digital leadership capacity remain limited. Ultimately, these findings contribute to strengthening the conceptual framework for constructing a sustainable and technology-oriented model of future leadership.

Abstract

Gojek is a well-established transportation service brand in Indonesia, noted for its extensive array of services, competitive pricing, and the high level of convenience it provides for users. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of both application service quality and user experience on service reuse intention. Furthermore, it examined the role of user satisfaction as an intervening (or mediating) variable in this relationship. The research population was composed of Gojek users located in Semarang City. Utilizing an accidental sampling technique, the study successfully gathered data from 100 respondents. To analyze the relationships between the variables, the researchers employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The analysis yielded several key findings. First, application service quality was shown to have a positive and significant impact on user satisfaction. In contrast, the application user experience was found to have no significant influence on user satisfaction. Regarding reuse intention, both application service quality and application user experience demonstrated a positive and significant influence. Finally, the study confirmed that user satisfaction also exerts a positive and significant influence on reuse intentions.

Abstract

This systematic literature review synthesizes evidence from studies published between 2011 and 2025, focusing on the interaction between transformational leadership (TL), digital transformation (DT), and employee behaviour. The review reveals that TL plays a crucial role in guiding organizations through the complex DT process by fostering vision, trust, and adaptability. Transformational leaders promote psychological empowerment, innovation, and proactive employee behaviour, thereby reducing resistance to technological change. Empirical findings indicate that TL enhances digital agility and engagement by aligning individual motivation with organizational digital goals. In addition, DT acts as both a driver and a mediator, turning leadership effectiveness into higher employee engagement, creativity, and sustained job performance. Studies in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East show that TL fosters a digital culture characterized by continuous learning, collaboration, and resilience amid technological turbulence. This review concludes that transformational leadership and digital transformation are mutually reinforcing forces. Leadership enables the adoption of human-cantered technology, while digital transformation enhances leadership influence through data-driven empowerment and participatory work design.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital economy and the increasing public awareness of diversity in the workplace have created equal opportunities for employees from various backgrounds both men and women, to work and contribute their best to organizations. This study aims to explore the motivation of workers as leaders, particularly women leaders who operate within digital based industries and organizations, by highlighting the internal and external factors that drive their success and persistence in a technology driven environment. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to examine women's motivation in the context of the digital economy. The literature analyzed in this study was obtained from officially published journals indexed in databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Embase, etc. The inclusion criteria focused on studies discussing women's motivation and leadership behavior. The findings identify three main dimensions influencing motivation: intrinsic motivation (personal values, self-fulfilment, and digital competence), extrinsic motivation (organizational recognition, financial rewards, and career development), and social motivation (mentorship, networking, and gender inclusivity). The results of this study aim to understand how these factors influence employees, particularly women, in delivering their best performance to achieve structural leadership positions within organizations and become effective leaders in the digital era.
