Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the effectiveness of quantum learning model implementation based on student’s learning style for circulation system matter in the XI grade science students of SMAN 1Bontosik uyu Selayar Island. This research was pre-experimental research with one-group pretest-posttest research design. The population of this study was all the XI grade science students of SMAN 1Bontosik uyu. The sampling technique was saturated sampling that all the XI grade science students consisted of 24 students as the sample. The research instruments were learning style questioner, multiple-choice and essay questions of student’s achievement, and activity observation paper.The increase of value from pre-test to post-test was found out through N-gain calculation, with the effectiveness criteria which were ≥ 75% of the total of students based on the learning style that obtained N-gain in middle to high category. The result of this study showed that were visual learners students 58.33%, auditory learners 25%, k inesthetic learners 4.17%, visual-k inesthetic learners 8.33% and auditory-k inesthetic learners 4.17%. All students of each learning style were able to meet the criteria of effectiveness in this research. It can be concluded that the implementation of quantum learning method based on student’s learning style was effective for circulation system matter in the XI grade science students SMAN 1 Bontosikuyu. Student’s activity during the learning process by quantum learning method was in very good category

Abstract

Adsorben dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kultur Aspergillus niger FNCC 6018 dan limbah kulit udang. Tahapan meliputi; pembiakan Aspergillus niger, isolasi limbah udang menjadi kitosan dan proses pemerangkapan biomassa Aspergillus niger. Adsorben hasil pemerangkapan diaplikasikan terhadap larutan logam Pb(II). Studi adsorpsi meliputi; optimasi rasio adsorben, pH larutan, waktu interaksi dan konsentrasi awal larutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorben menyerap Pb(II) pada rasio 30%(b/b), pH 5, waktu interaksi 60 menit. Mengikuti model kinetika orde pseudo satu dan isoterm Langmuir. Hasil desorpsi sekuensial menunjukkan ikatan yang terjadi didominasi oleh ikatan koordinasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) to the size of silver nanoparticle synthesized using bioreductor soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata L.). Silver nanoparticle made through method bioreduction, bioreductor solution was mixed with AgNO3 precursor, without addition of PVA and with the addition of PVA. That the variant of concentrations is 1%; 1.5%; 2%; and 2.5%. Based on the analysis of functional groups of soursop leaf extract using a spectrophotometer FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared), showed absorption at wave number 3443 cm-1 which indicate a -OH group.The process of formation of silver nanoparticles seen by UV-Vis absorption. The measurement results shows that the absorbance value increased with increasing contact time. The maximum absorbance measurement result of the samples synthesized each concentration showed λmax 503.0; 463.1; 436.0; 476.1; 503.1 nm for two days with various concentrations without PVA, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5%. The size of silver nanoparticle were determined using XRD (X-Ray Diffraction), the average size distribution of silver nanoparticle without the addition of PVA is 30.80- 50.25 nm and the smallest size range is 9.90-10.20 nm silver nanoparticle with addition PVA 1.5%. Based on research that has been done, it can concluded that addition of PVA have the effect to the size of silver nanoparticle. The stabilizer acts to control the size of silver nanoparticle.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengujian fitokimia dan toksisitas ekstrak etanol jantung pisang kepok (Musa Paradisiaca Linn.) dengan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). Pengujian dilakukan untuk mencari beberapa senyawa kimia dari ekstrak jantung pisang Musa Paradisaca. Linn serta mengetahui efek toksik terhadap larva udang Artemia salina. Leach. Maserasi jantung pisang kepok dilakukan dengan menggunakan etanol. Ekstrak etanol yang diperoleh dilakukan pengujian fitokimia dan toksisitas. Hasil pengujian fitokimia menunjukkan ekstrak etanol jantung pisang Musa paradisiaca. Linn memiliki komposisi senyawa flavonoid, kumarin dan senyawa fenolik lainnya. Ekstrak etanol jantung pisang kepok memberikan efek toksik terhadap larva udang Artemia salina. Leach dengan nilai LC50 sebesar 806,8 μg/mL.

Abstract

Indigenous peoples of Karampuang are very obedient to customs, beliefs, cosmology, and k nowledge in environmental management. This study aims to determine the local wisdom of indigenous people KarampuangSinjai regency in South Sulawesi in environmental management. Type of qualitative research with case study approach. Technique of data collection is done by observation, interview, documentation and literature review. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, Data Presentation, and Withdrawal Conclusion. Research results show that indigenous peoples of Karampuang manage the environment derived from local wisdom in the form of knowledge, myths and messages of ancestors that contains prohibitions, invitations, and sanctions in environmental management. Local wisdom is important to be conserved in order to maintain balance and environmental sustainability

Abstract

Observation results at SMP Negeri 4 Alla Enrekang Regency obtained facts that refer to the learning process there are still many problems that can be seen from the results of learning. This issue is issued: the teacher still uses conventional methods and student learning outcomes are still low. While the results of questions and answers with natural science subject teachers the average learning outcomes of students of class IX B of SMP Negeri 4 Alla in the 2018/2019 academic year at the start of the odd semester were still very low. The problem arises because the teacher's teaching model is still monotonous, that is, teachers are more active than their students. This of course will have an impact on meaningful learning that leads to successful learning. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were students of class IX B SMP Negeri 4 Alla Enrekang in the 2018/2019 academic year. Student learning outcomes use essay tests at the end of each cycle. The results showed that the implementation of the NHT (Numbered-Head-Together) type of cooperative learning model could improve the learning outcomes of Science IX Class B students of SMP Negeri 4 Alla Enrekang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine seasonal variations livestock forage plants in several centers of animal production Cattle and Goats. The method used in this study was the observation by ethnobiological approach in several production centers ruminant livestock (cattle and goats) in East Java and Southeast Sulawesi. The results showed that the number of food plants live in the rainy season more than the dry season.The decline in the number of plant species are more common in plants than the annual grass perennial broadleaf plants.The largest decline in the number of plant species forage due to drought occurred in Pamotan district. Dampit and Langgea,otherwise only slight changes in Ringinsari and Malang

Abstract

The research aims to produce healthy broiler meat consumed, produce rations that are ideal for broiler chickens, so that the fat and cholesterol levels of meat can be reduced as low as possible, and know the duration of ration restriction on the percentage of carcasses, meats, fat levels and cholesterol of broiler chickens. This research consists of two interrelated phases, the results of Phase I will be continued in Phase II. This research took place at the Faculty of Animal Science, Hasanuddin University. Phase I used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications: A0 (control): Ration without addition of seaweed flour; A1: Ration with Addition of Seaweed Flour 3%; A2: Ration with Addition of Seaweed Flour 5%; A3: ration using 7% seaweed flour. The data obtained were analyzed by complete random design analysis followed by the F test at a precision level of 5%. The results showed that the treatment with the use of seaweed flour up to 7% level significantly affected the levels of meat fat, but did not affect the body weight, the percentage of abdominal fat, cholesterol, LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein), HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) and triglyceride. Complete randomized design analysis followed by the F test at a precision level of 5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik zeolit alam Toraja dan kemampuannya dalam menurunkan jumlah ion Ca2+ pada air tanah (sumber mata air Citta kabupaten Soppeng). Penentuan jumlah ion Ca2+ menggunakan fotometri nyala, waktu kontak optimum menggunakan metode batch dengan variasi waktu yaitu 20, 40, 60, 80 dan 100 menit, penentuan kapasitas tukar kation (KTK) dengan variasi konsentrasi ion Ca2+ 120, 150, 180, 210, 240 ppm, dan penurunan jumlah ion Ca2+ menggunakan metode pertukaran ion yang berlangsung dengan model aliran dari atas ke bawah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah ion Ca2+ dalam air yang berasal dari Citta sebesar 129,53 ppm, waktu kontak optimum tercapai pada menit ke-60, KTK terhadap ion Ca2+ sebesar 13,35 mEq/100 gr zeolit, dan zeolit alam Toraja dapat menurunkan jumlah ion Ca2+ hingga 104,29 ppm pada perbandingan zeolit : air sebesar 1:200.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) perencanaan (antesedents) pelaksanaan standar penilaian Guru IPA Biologi pada MTs Negeri Model Makassar; (2) proses (transactions) pelaksanaan standar penilaian oleh guru IPA biologi pada MTs Negeri Model Makassar; (3) hasil (outcomes) pelaksanaan standar penilaian oleh guru IPA biologi pada MTs Negeri Model Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan model Model Countenance Stake. Data penelitian ini merupakan data yang dikumpulkan dari guru IPA Biologi, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis membandingkan kriteria eksternal dengan kondisi ril yang terjadi di lapangan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian: (1) perencanaan (antecedents) pelaksanaan standar penilaian guru IPA biologi pada MTs Negeri Model Makassar secara umum sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Namun, dilihat dari prosedur dan teknik penilaian yang sesuai kurikulum KTSP belum sepenuhnya terlaksana. Hal yang belum terlaksana dengan baik yakni penyusunan instrumen penilaian aspek afektif, psikomotor, dan rubrik penskoran; (2) proses (transactions) pelaksanaan standar penilaian guru IPA biologi pada MTs Negeri Model Makassar secara umum sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Namun, pelaksanaan remedial belum maksimal menekankan kelemahan dan kekurangan peserta didik, guru belum mencatat hasil pengamatan pada saat peserta didik melakukan unjuk kerja dan proses diskusi dengan menggunakan rubrik penskoran; (3) hasil (outcomes) pelaksanaan standar penilaian guru IPA Biologi pada MTs Negeri Model Makassar sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Guru telah mengolah, menyekor, memasukkan nilai dalam daftar penilaian, lalu melaporkan hasil penilaian ke wali kelas, kepala sekolah, dan mengundang orang tua/wali murid.
