Abstract

Live streaming e-commerce has become one of the most popular online shopping channels for Generation Z consumers in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of interaction elements in live broadcasting on the trust and purchasing decisions of Gen Z consumers. Using a systematic literature review approach of 10 articles from journals, this study identifies four main interaction elements that affect consumer trust, namely credibility and authenticity of the host, real-time interaction through comments and Q&A, live product demonstrations, and urgency mechanisms through flash sales. The results of the study show that trust functions as a critical mediator between interaction experience and purchase decisions, with mediation coefficients ranging from 0.45 to 0.72 based on various empirical studies. The characteristics of Gen Z as digital natives who prioritize authenticity and are heavily influenced by peer communities make them the most responsive segment to live commerce formats. These findings were analyzed using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework and Social Presence Theory. Practical implications include host selection strategies, interactive broadcast content design, and long-term trust ecosystem building.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, but many MSME players still face serious challenges in terms of marketing and expanding market reach. The presence of social media, especially Instagram, opens up new opportunities that were previously unimaginable, especially after the acceleration of digital transformation due to the COVID-19 pandemic which prompted millions of business actors to switch to digital platforms. This study aims to analyze in depth how Instagram plays an effective digital marketing platform for MSMEs and what strategies have been proven to be able to drive significant sales increases. Using a systematic literature review approach with reference to various empirical studies, industry reports, and academic studies published between 2021 and 2024, the results of the analysis show that the implementation of visually consistent content, the use of Instagram Reels and Stories features, the use of Instagram Shopping, as well as strategic collaboration with influencers and the use of User Generated Content (UGC) in an integrated manner have proven to be able to drive real MSME sales growth. More than just a promotional medium, Instagram also serves as a distribution channel and a space for personal interaction between brands and consumers that is increasingly contextual, supported by the platform's excellence in integrating visual content, brand narratives, and transactions in one integrated ecosystem...

Abstract

The development of technology and the internet in the digital era has a great influence on the development of online business. One of the most widely used technological developments today is social media. Social media is not only used as a means of communication and entertainment, but also as a medium for digital promotion and marketing. Various social media platforms help business actors in introducing products, reaching consumers, and increasing online business sales. The purpose of this article is to find out the role of social media in the development of online businesses, understand social media use strategies, and explain the impact of social media on digital business development. The method used in this writing is a literature study method using various reference sources from journals, articles, and books related to social media and online business. The results of the discussion show that social media use strategies such as creating interesting content, determining the target market, actively interacting with customers, utilizing social media features, and consistently promoting can help increase branding and online business sales. In addition to having a positive impact, social media also has negative impacts such as increasingly tight business competition and the risk of negative comments from consumers. Therefore, the proper use of social media is very important for business actors to be able to develop their business and compete in the current digital era.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has made Generation Z a very familiar and active group in cyberspace. However, the intensity of the use of technology is not necessarily accompanied by adequate digital literacy skills. This research aims to systematically identify various digital literacy challenges experienced by Generation Z, especially in the cognitive, algorithmic, and ethical aspects of digital. The research was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol through an analysis of 10 scientific articles published in the 2017–2024 period. The results of the study show that there are three main problems faced by Generation Z, namely: (1) low critical thinking skills in assessing and filtering digital information, (2) the high influence of algorithmic bias that limits the diversity of information received, and (3) lack of ethical awareness in the use of digital media, especially related to privacy and the spread of false or hoax information.(DIGITAL LITERACY CHALLENGES OF THE Z_ GENERATION OF SYSTEMATIC LITERACY REVIEW _ Anisti _ Media Language, Literature, and Culture N.d.)

Abstract

Changes in consumer behavior towards digital have encouraged the birth of live commerce as an interactive marketing innovation. This study aims to analyze the mechanism of live commerce in increasing sales conversion and identify the factors for the success of its application to MSMEs in Indonesia. The method used is qualitative with a literature review approach. The scope of the study is focused on the use of the TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, and Instagram Live platforms by MSMEs in the trade and culinary sectors in the 2019–2023 period. The results of the study show that live commerce is able to transform sales conversion by more than 40%. This success is driven by  two-way real-time interactions, live product demonstrations that build trust, and psychological stimulation of urgency through limited promos. In addition, the communication competence of the host, the readiness of the technical infrastructure, and the consistency of the broadcast are the main determining factors. This study concludes that live commerce is effective in cutting the psychological distance between sellers and buyers to optimize the sales performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of paid ads (Meta Ads) and organic marketing, as well as compare the role of the two in the integrated digital marketing strategy to PT Sugeng Jaya Group's sales. The research uses a mixed method approach with quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive methods. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and data analysis of the company's Meta Ads performance and organic marketing. The research variables consisted of Meta Ads (X1), Organic Marketing (X2), and Sales (Y). The results showed that Meta Ads generated a total reach of 27,913 people with a total impression of 42,691 impressions and a budget of IDR 400,471; however, all campaigns recorded ROAS = 0 and a CTR trend that decreased from 1.03% to 0.21%, so that its role was more dominant as brand awareness. Organic marketing through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and marketplaces showed organic reach growth of 273.8% in two months and contributed more to building consumer trust. A comparison of the two strategies shows that organic marketing is superior in cost efficiency and reach consistency, while Meta Ads excels in the speed of reach expansion. The two strategies are still running separately so that the potential for integrated digital marketing synergy is not optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Influencer Marketing (X1) and Brand Image (X2) Content on the Intention to Buy (Y) of fashion products in Generation Z in Bogor City, both partially and simultaneously. The quantitative approach was used with a Likert scale questionnaire instrument which was distributed to 100 Gen Z respondents in Bogor City using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through SmartPLS software version 4.1.1.8. The results of the descriptive analysis showed a very high perception of Influencer Marketing Content (mean 4.33) and a high perception of Brand Image (mean 4.09) and Intention to Buy (mean 4.18). All indicators were valid (Outer Loading ≥ 0.70; AVE > 0.50) and reliable (CR rho_c ≥ 0.90). The bootstrapping results prove: (H1) Influencer Marketing Content has a positive and significant effect on Intention to Buy (β = 0.441; T = 4.291; p = 0.000); (H2) Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on Intention to Buy (β = 0.437; T = 4.029; p = 0.000); and (H3) both simultaneously explain 66.8% variation of Intention to Buy (R-Square = 0.668). The implications of the study show that fashion business actors in Bogor City need to integrate authentic influencer content strategies with consistent brand image development to maximize Gen Z's purchase intentions.

Abstract

The growth of the digital economy encourages the development of subscription-based business models in business management applications, including in the laundry sector. This study aims to analyze the historical data patterns of the Matik Laundry Application revenue, compare the accuracy of three time series forecasting methods, determine the best model, and produce revenue projections for the 2026–2028 period. The data used are monthly data on subscription revenue, the number of new users, and the number of subscription users for the period January 2023 to December 2025 as many as 36 observations. The methods applied include Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), ARIMA with Exogenous Variables (ARIMAX), and Exponential Smoothing Holt-Winters. The data is divided into 30 months of training data and 6 months of test data. The stationarity test using Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) shows that the data is not stationary at the original and stationary levels after first-order differentiation. The analysis of ACF and PACF yielded an optimal order of ARIMA(2,1,0). The results of the evaluation based on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) showed that Exponential Smoothing Holt-Winters was the best model with a MAPE of 5.98% (very accurate), followed by ARIMAX(2,1,0) with a MAPE of 8.19%, and ARIMA(2,1,0) with a MAPE of 14.38%...

Abstract

This study examines the influence of content type perception and posting consistency on engagement intention and their impact on brand awareness of the Dutarizkia TikTok account. A quantitative survey was conducted using questionnaires distributed to Dutarizkia TikTok followers. Data were collected through non-probability sampling and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings show that content type perception and posting consistency positively and significantly affect engagement intention. In addition, content type perception, posting consistency, and engagement intention have positive and significant effects on brand awareness. Engagement intention mediates the relationship between posting consistency and brand awareness but does not mediate the relationship between content type perception and brand awareness. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining relevant content and consistent posting to enhance audience engagement and strengthen brand awareness on TikTok.
