Abstract

The need for learning media to increase the motivation of students is essential to make them more interested in understanding the material presented. Based on the interview results with a Mathematics teacher at MAs M.Nadis Bukittinggi, it was found that current mathematics learning still uses basic media to support learning. However, during the learning process, students tend to feel bored when receiving the material taught, resulting in less than optimal delivery of the material by the teacher. Therefore, the author was interested in designing learning media that could help students understand the material more easily. The purpose of this research is to produce a web-based Mathematics learning media using HTML and CSS for the tenth grade at MAs M.Nadis Bukittinggi. The researcher utilized the Research and Development (R&D) approach. They applied the Hannafin and Peck development model, which consists of three stages: needs analysis, design, and development as well as implementation of learning. In this study, the product was tested through validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that this web-based Mathematics learning media has been successfully designed and can be used to support mathematics learning. The product testing results conducted by the author showed that the validity test involving 3 experts produced a score of 0.82, which can be classified as a very valid category. The practicality test involving 2 practitioners produced a score of 0.84, which falls into the very high category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test conducted with the participation of 11 evaluators produced a score of 0.89, which can be classified into the very effective category.

Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial aspect in maintaining business operations. This article discusses the implementation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in inventory control of products using a web-based application. The EOQ method is employed to optimize the most efficient order quantity while considering ordering costs and holding costs. In this study, we emphasize the significance of proper inventory management in ensuring product availability. Distributors or companies require an accurate calculation system to determine the appropriate order quantity and timing. Errors in inventory management may lead to missed sales opportunities or detrimental excess inventory. The utilization of computer technology is pivotal in expediting and enhancing decision-making processes related to inventory. The EOQ method is systematically implemented through a web-based application to facilitate intelligent product inventory planning. This application enables the calculation of crucial parameters such as Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point, and Total Costs. The findings of this research demonstrate that the implementation of the EOQ method in inventory management has positive effects in addressing stockouts and excess inventory issues. Furthermore, companies can reduce overall inventory costs by optimizing resource utilization. The web-based application with the EOQ method provides an effective solution for achieving efficiency and cost reduction in product inventory operations

Abstract

Currently, technology capable of absorbing human thought processes and patterns is known as artificial intelligence. An expert system is a component of artificial intelligence that contains knowledge and experience acquired from an expert in a particular field. The aim of this study is to develop a web-based expert system designed to detect digestive disorders in humans. Its purpose is to provide patients with information about their health status, correlated with their presenting symptoms, with a certain degree of accuracy. Through the use of this expert system, patients have the ability to identify potential digestive disorders based on individual symptoms or combinations of symptoms they may be experiencing. Additionally, it facilitates early detection of digestive disorders without the need to delay treatment until doctors or specialists are available. The method used is Forward Chaining, which involves collecting symptom data to determine the appropriate type of disease. Forward Chaining is a reasoning technique used in expert systems and rule-based systems. It begins with known events or conditions and then attempts to match these events with the IF (combination) clauses from the IF-THEN rules that are available.

Abstract

Health facilities are places where health efforts are carried out. In this research, several problems were found regarding health facility information, such as the official Lebong district website only providing some information on health facilities such as hospitals, health centers, pharmacies. Not all health facility locations are known to the public, whether they come from Lebong Regency or immigrants from Lebong Regency. If you use the Google Maps application, there are still health facility locations that are not registered, so this application can complete data that has not been registered in the Google Maps application. so that the public can know better and make it easier to disburse the location of health facilities. This system was created using the prototyping method, system development process, system implementation and finalization. This application was developed with Kodular. Apart from that, the framework used uses DFD and UI UX Design as examples of application design.

Abstract

Vehicles are a means of transportation used by everyone, vehicles also often experience problems so they must be repaired or serviced. Bengkulu City currently, there is no special application that provides complete and accurate information services about car repair shops in Bengkulu City. Therefore, it is important to design and develop a car repair shop search application that utilizes Location-Based Service (LBS) technology in Bengkulu City. The problem is how to make a location based service algorithm design system in Bengkulu City for the search for car repair shops. So this study is intended to design a location-based service algorithm system in Bengkulu City about searching for car repair shops using a system that can be used on mobile phones with the Android operating system. By utilizing mobile technology and Location-Based Service (LBS) in finding the nearest auto repair shop from their location by providing information about the repair shop name, address, telephone number, customer reviews, and possibly other useful information, such as operating hours or special services provided by the repair shop. So when going to service the vehicle we simply use the application through the handhone. The results showed that the design of a location-based service algorithm in Bengkulu City for car repair shop search can help car service sellers to promote superior products to be sold, produce a combination of GPS features in determining the starting point and can display information search for workshop names and workshop locations based on latitude and longitude.

Abstract

Agricultural extension workers need solutions to the various difficulties faced by tomato farmers with their tomato plants. The aim of this research is to produce an expert system application in diagnosing diseases in tomato plants as an effort to help the difficulties of agricultural instructors and tomato farmers regarding problems with tomato plants by utilizing information technology through the Visual Basic programming language with a MySQL database through prior definition by experts. The method used in the research is the waterfall model, meanwhile in creating the knowledge base expert system application used is the forward chaining method. The expert system application is created to produce data that is entered into the application consisting of symptom data, disease data, solution data, solution data, rule data, as well as diagnosis (consulation) data by farmers. The output from the application created produces diagnostic results for tomato plant diseases based on the symptoms entered and solutions to the diagnoses that have been made. The results of the research are that the expert system application created can be operated well with a knowledge base using the forward chaining method and rules as a knowledge base that are in accordance with the objectives

Abstract

Bengkulu City has many destinations that can attract visitors to visit Bengkulu City. The migrant community consists of various ethnicities and religions and there are also foreign tourists. Most visitors who come to Bengkulu City for the first time find it difficult to find the location of a place of worship. Most immigrants use Android-based cellphones in their daily lives. So researchers took the initiative to create an application to search for places of worship by utilizing the location based service (LBS) system. LBS is a system for finding the coordinates of a device's location. Therefore, by using the location based service method to create an Android-based application for finding the location of places of worship and finding out information on the state of places of worship in Bengkulu City. This research ends in design form and it is hoped that future researchers will implement the research results, namely creating a search application for places of worship using an Android-based location based service

Abstract

In every company there is an employee performance assessment system that is used to find out who can be used as role models as outstanding employees. The assessment aspects are divided into 4 categories, namely Discipline, Work Attitude, Potential and Ability, and Work Results. In this decision support system the Promethe method has been applied, so that the final assessment results for each employee have gone through the Promethe method calculation procedure. The final assessment results of the Promethee Method will be sorted from the highest value to the lowest value with two conditions where if the Net Flow value is all 0 then it will be sorted based on the leaving flow and entering flow values, but if the Net Flow value is not all 0, then it will be sorted based on Net Flow value obtained from each employee

Abstract

Shrimp is one of the high-value fishery commodities. Apart from being used to meet domestic needs, shrimp are also produced for export purposes. As a leading commodity in the fisheries sector, market dynamics are often unstable, so fluctuations in prices cannot be avoided, including the shrimp ponds in Linau Village, Kaur Regency.The current problem is that the process of determining the selling price in the shrimp ponds of Linau Village, Kaur Regency is still done manually which has the potential to trigger errors in determining the selling price which can be detrimental to the company. Fuzzy logic is a control system methodology for solving problems in systems, ranging from simple systems to complex or complex systems. In the Tsukamoto method, each rule is represented by a fuzzy set with a monotonous membership function called fuzzification. As a result, the output of each rule is in the form of a crisp value based on the α-predicate or the minimum value of each rule and the z value. The final result is obtained by performing a weighted average defuzzification. research has succeeded in making a shrimp pricing system by applying the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method in the analysis and calculation process.

Abstract

Age and Gender Detection is a technology that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to identify and analyze the age and gender of a person through image capture as output. This technology provides automatic estimation of age and gender starting from detecting one or more objects (humans) and performing age and gender detection. The program uses pre-trained models and prototypes for face detection, age, and gender, resulting from training processes using deep learning techniques. By using these models and prototypes, the program can efficiently analyze each face found in images or videos and provide age and gender estimates with reliable accuracy. The main purpose of the Age and Gender Detection Application is to provide accurate and useful information about the age and gender of individuals based on the input images, becoming an efficient solution in image processing and artificial intelligence fields for various application contexts requiring facial data analysis.
