Abstract

Abstract: This action research has an objective to describe process of implementing a task assigned method and improvement of social studies – geography with natural phenomena at SDN (state elementary school) Penanggungan Kota Malang. The data collection were using observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The results of the research, up to third cycle, found that there were improvement of learning process implementation, students’ learning activities, and groups’ task reports. Through the task assigned method, studets will involve directly in identifying problems, finishing group tasks, discussing with other members, arranging and reporting group tasks outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The recent teaching problem of natural science in Samarinda is about teachers’ comprehension to problem based learning strategy. They application of problem based learning strategy as learning scenario is very view. The problem can influence the development of elementary school students’ high-level thinking ability in learning natural science. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of problem based learning strategy to the students’ high level thinking ability. The research design was non equivalent control group design. The data colleted was analyzed by anacova. The result of this research was that guided problem strategy increased students’ high level thinking ability.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve elementary school students’ active learning behaviour and students’ learning motivation through the implementation of active, creative, effective, and enjoyment learning process. The design of this research was classroom action research. The research setting was fourth grade SDN  (state elementary school) Bandulan II Kota Malang in the Indonesia language course. The subjcts were teachers and students of fourth grade SDN  (state elementary school) Bandulan II Kota Malang in the Indonesia language course. The data collection techniques were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The colleted data were analysed using qualitative and descriptive. The research was conducted through two cycles. The results found that through the implementation of active, creative, effective, and enjoyment learning model improved elementary school students’ active learning behaviour and students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: Pramuka (Boy Scout) activities can build full personality. The pramuka activities that are educational games based have objective to develop personality, social needs, state building, and nation building. The activities should be based on among system”Ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madyo mangun karso, tut wuri handayani”. The value of Pramuka can help elementary school students become good citizens, active loyalty, creative, and innovative through training of character, cleanness and power, handy craft and skills, and pro-social behavior (task-force system).

Abstract

Abstract: Political education should be socialized to elementary schools’ students. One of the appropriate media is using general election process context. General election is one of political activities that can be observed and analysed by elementary schools’ students. By analyzing general election process, students will have direct experience in effort to studying the meaning of democracy. In conclusion, the general election process can be seen as a meaningful political learning media for elementary schools’ students.

Abstract

Abstract: Aggression behavior is still a problem in our educational setting. School aggression involves all of the behaviors intended to harm or injure the aggression objects in the school environment. The aggression can influence teaching and learning process in the school environment. There are some social psychological theories of aggression, i.e. instinct theory, frustration aggression hypothesis theory, social learning theory. Some strategies that can prevent and reduce aggression behavior in the school are: identification of community risk factors, development prevention and intervention regulation, identification aggression potency among school’s member, punishment, catharsis and sublimation, non aggression model, and development of social skills training program.

Abstract

Abstract: Development of elementary students’ writing skills can be seen from writing style, attitude, cognitive, and moral aspects. The moral aspect can be analyzed by cumulative based moral development model instrument which is expressed by moral judgment physical characteristic, law, status, conventional, objective or motive, and abstract universal concept norms. Capacity of moral development which is expressed in upper class elementary schools students’ composition can be seen in the socionomic level, i.e. norms that can develop sense of tolerance to others. The development of norms of abstract universal concept and development of personal value system are not expressed yet.

Abstract

Tujuan utama pembelajaran matematika adalah membangun pemahaman. Membangun pemahaman jauh lebih penting daripada hasil belajar, sebab pemahaman akan bermakna pada materi yang dipelajari. Munculnya pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) yang mengacu pada asumsi bahwa matematik harus dikaitkan dengan dunia nyata dan matematik merupakan aktivitas manusia, menjadi salah satu strategi yang dianggap mampu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa akan suatu konsep. Dalam kondisi memahami pemecahan masalah matematika dapat dilakukan secara optimal.

Abstract

Tingkah laku anak autis berbeda dengan anak normal. Oleh karena itu perlu diterapi agar bisa seperti anak normal lainnya. Sebelum mendapatkan pembelajaran PKn di sekolah dasar, anak autis terlebih dahulu mendapatkan pembelajaran perubahan tingkah laku. Perubahan tingkah laku tersebut antara lain perilaku hiperaktif maupun perilaku pasif dinormalkan dan pembelajaran dengan pendampingan dialihkan menjadi pembelajaran mandiri. Begitu pula pembelajaran dengan model individual secara berangsur-angsur diarahkan ke pembelajaran klasikal. Apabila perubahan tingkah laku sudah dianggap memadai anak tingkat sekolah dasar kelas satu, anak autis baru bisa diberi pembelajaran PKn SD, untuk pesiapan masuk SD inklusi.

Abstract

Menurut teori skema, proses membaca memilik empat aspek, yakni membaca merupakan proses aktif mencari makna, proses konstruktif, proses penerapan beragam pengetahuan, dan proses strategis. Membaca merupakan proses memahami dan bernalar; kegiatan mehubungkan gagasan dalam bacaan dan pengetahuan tentang “dunia”. Pembaca efektif memiliki tujuan yang jelas dalam membaca. Pemahaman proses membaca dan kekhasan cerita sebagai bacaan berperan penting dalam proses memahami dan mengapresiasi cerita untuk anak sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran apresiasi cerita dapat ditingkatkan melalui kerangka pembelajaran yang memperhatikan proses membaca dan hakikat strukur cerita.
