Abstract

Abstract: Effectiveness of moral education on the basis of children story through ethic-spiritual value transformation elementary school’s students. Purpose of the research was to produce moral education for elementary schools’ students and to test effectiveness of moral education model for elementary schools’ students. Research method was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, document analysis, and test. Data analysis used interactive model, while testing used experiment technique. Research results; (1) Developing moral education model based on children story packed until step students finding value through questions and internalization process through role-play, The meaningfulness of moral education if followed with habituation on other relevant subjects, modeling, and figure model; and (2) Model can be used as an ethic spiritual value character transformation of elementary schools’ students.Keywords: moral, children story, ethic spiritual value, elementary schools’ students Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: menghasilkan model pendidikan budi pekerti untuk siswa SD dan menguji keefektifan model pendidikan budi pekerti untuk siswa SD. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif, sedangkan pengujian dengan teknik eksperimen. Hasil penelitian:(1) pengembangan model pendidikan budi pekerti berbasis cerita anak dikemas sampai pada tahap siswa menemukan nilai melalui pertanyaan-pertanyaan dan proses internalisasi melalui bermain peran. Kebermaknaan pendidikan budi pekerti bila ditindaklanjuti dengan pembiasaan pada mata pelajaran lain yang relevan, pemodelan, dan keteladanan; dan (2) Model dapat digunakan untuk penanaman karakter nilai etis spiritual siswa SD.Kata Kunci: budi pekerti, cerita anak, nilai etis-spiritual, siswa SD

Abstract

Abstract: Guided inquiry model in teaching water conservation concept in fifth grade of elementary school. Purpose of the research was to determine influence inquiry teaching on process learning achievement, measuring process skills, cooperation competency, students’ questioning competency. Type of research was descriptive and experimental. Results of the research were the guided inquiry teaching influenced on product learning achievement, the guided inquiry learning influenced on process learning achievement, students’ process skills when they involved in guided inquiry learning were categorized good, guided inquiry learning improved students; cooperation, and guided inquiry learning improved students’ questioning competency.Keywords: guided inquiry, water conservation, product, process, elementary school.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan menentukan pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar proses, mengukur keterampilan proses, kemampuan kerjasama, dan kemampuan bertanya siswa. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dan eksperimental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar produk, pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar proses, keterampilan proses siswa selama pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tergolong baik, pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kerjasama siswa, dan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kemampuan bertanya siswa.Kata Kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, penghematan air, produk, proses, SD

Abstract

Abstract: The developmental study was intended to find out the test result of the effectiveness of writing teaching and learning by using Whole Language approach; and to obtain the appropriateness of the writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach at Elementary schools. The steps of the study included preliminary study, model development, model try out, and dissemination. The results of the study suggested that (1) the writing competence of the students who learnt writing by using Whole Language approach was better than those who learnt writing conventionally; and (1) writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach could be accepted by the stakeholders well.Keywords: writing skills, Whole Language approach, elementary schools.Abstrak: penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menemukan hasil uji efektivan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar; dan mendapatkan keberterimaan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, pengujian model, dan deseminasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) kemampuan menulis siwa yang belajar menulis dengan pendekatan whole language lebih baik daripada kemampuan menulis siswa yang belajar menulis dengan cara konvensional; dan (2) model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan whole language dapat diterima stakeholders dengan baik. Abstract

Abstract: The experimental study was intended to prove the effects of group investigation (GI) model towards the natural science learning outcome of the elementary school students. The sample which was two classes was taken by using simple random sampling. The data was collected by using treated instruments (syllabus and lesson plans) and the instruments of measuring the learning outcome (pre-test and post-test). The data was analyzed by using prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis test through t-test. The results of the study suggested that GI had significant effect on the learning outcome. The probability value < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) and the values of T > Ttable (12,800 >1,991) which meant that Ho was rejected so the GI teaching and learning model had positive effect on the natural science learning outcome.Keywords: group investigation model, learning outcome, natural scienceAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan pengaruh model group inestigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa sekolag dasar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel dua kelas. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument perlakuan (silabus dan rencana pelaksanan pembelajaran) dan instrument pengukuran hasil belajar (soal pretest dan post test). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-prasyarat analisis dan uji-hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran GI terhadap hasil belajar. Nilai probabilitas < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) dan nilai Thitung > Ttabel (12,800 >1,991) berarti Ho ditolak, artinya model pembelajaran GI berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Abstract

Abstract: The current developmental study was intended to analyze the determinant factors which affected the quality of occupational stress which experienced by teachers who taught special education in inclusive schools in East Java as the basis to develop a module of managing stress due to working. The analysis results of the exploratory study suggested that most teachers (66.33%) of special education in inclusive schools experienced moderate occupational stress. The contributions of the internal and external variables to occupational stress experienced by teachers of special education included: gender (12.32%), age (4.16%), working status (5.34%), salary or income (3.57%), the suitability of the prajabatan background study (6.76%), the achievement motivation (22.75%), and the interest of position (12.25%).Keywords: occupational stress, internal factors, external factors.Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas stress akibat kerja yang dialami oleh guru pendidikan khusus yang bekerja pada sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif di Jawa Timur sebagai dasar pengembangan modul pengendalian stress akibat kerja. Hasil analisis eksplorasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (66,33%) guru pendidikan khusus (GPK) di sekolah inklusif mengalami stress akibat kerja dalam kategori sedang. Kontribusi variabel internal dan eksternal terhadap stress akibat kerja yang dialami guru pendidikan khusus (GPK) meliputi: jenis kelamin (12,32%), usia responden (4,16%), status kepegawaian (5,34%), pendapatan atau gaji (3,57%), kesesuaian latar belakang pendidikan prajabatan (6,76%), motivasi berprestasi (22,75%), dan minat jabatan (12,25%).Kata kunci: stress akibat kerja, faktor internal, faktor internal.

Abstract

Abstract: The study was aimed at describing (1) the process and the components of informal communication in improving the teachers’ professionalism, and (2) the informal communication model in improving the professionalism of elementary school teachers in Jember Regency. The research method used was qualitative with phenomenological approach which was multi-site study on three elementary schools. The data was collected by interviewing, observing, and documenting. The data analysis was carried out by using flow and constant comparative models. The results showed the improvement of the teachers’ professionalism through the process and the components of informal communication including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The informal communication model in improving the teachers’ professionalism on this case (1) was in the form of direct interactive model, (2) was in the form of indirect interactive model, and case (3) was in the form of direct and indirect interactive model.Keywords: improving professionalism, elementary school teachers, informal communication.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) proses dan komponen komunikasi informal dalam meningkatkan profesional guru; dan (2) model komunikasi informal dalam meningkatkan profesional guru di SD Kabupaten Jember. Metode penelitian kualitatif, pendekatan fenomenologis, dengan rancangan studi multi kasus pada tiga Sekolah Dasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model alir dan comparative constant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan professional guru melalui proses dan komponen komunikasi informal meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Model komunikasi informal dalam meningkatkan profesional guru pada kasus (1) adalah interaktif langsung, (2) dengan model interaktif tidak langsung, dan kasus (3) dengan model interaktif langsung dan tidak langsung.Kata Kunci : peningkatan profesional, guru SD, komunikasi informal.

Abstract

Abstract: The current study was aimed at describing the functions of the Teacher Work Group (TWG) within the perspective of the continuous professionalism development. The study took place in Kras district Kediri Regency and had 17 elementary school teachers as the research subjects. The data was collected by using interview and inductive analysis. The results of the study suggested that TWG was positively responded by the teachers as the means of sharing knowledge and experiences especially those which were related to the improvement of the teaching and learning quality in the classrooms. TWG was an effective vessel in developing the teachers’ continuous professionalism development.Keywords: teacher work group, professionalism development, elementary schools.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan fungsi Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dalam perspektif pengembangan profesionalisme berkelanjutan. Lokasi Penelitian di Kecamatan Kras Kabupaten Kediri, dengan subjek 17 guru sekolah dasar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan analisis induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberadaan KKG direspon positif oleh guru sebagai sarana berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman, khususnya mengenai peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. KKG efektif sebagai wadah pengembangan profesionalisme guru secara berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: kelompok kerja guru, pengembangan profesi, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract: Study of picture’s theme and object in elementary schools’ children. Purpose of the research was to describe a diversity of picture’s theme and object in elementary schools’ children. The research subjects were document of East Java elementary schools’ children picture results. Analysis methods were content analysis approach qualitative descriptive and artship study analysis. Research results showed: (1) the diversity of picture’s themes and picture’s title were relevant to picturing imagination ideas/ thought into picture form consistent to creativitity of every child. Picture themes diversity were: My Self, Playing, Animal, Activities/Hobby, Scenary, Public places or objects, Art, Exhibition Art, Place or environmental Condition, Events, Religiousity, Sport, Imaginative, and Poster. (2) the objects that dominated children’s picture were plantation, building, animal, human, vehicle, instruments, game, natural object, imaginative figure. Subyek penelitian dokumen karya gambar anak-anak SD di Jawa Timur. Analisis menggunakan pendekatan content analysis deskriftip kualitatif dan analisis kajian kesenirupaan. Hasil penelitian: (1) keragaman tema dan judul gambar anak berkaitan dengan penggambaran suatu ide/gagasan ke dalam bentuk gambar sesuai gaya kreatifitas setiap anak. Keragaman tema gambar yaitu: Diriku, Bermain, Binatang, Kegiaatan/Hobby, Pemandangan, Tempat atau Obyek Publik, Kesenian, Seni Pertunjukkan, Suasana Tempat/Lingkungan, Peristiwa, Keagamaan, Olahraga, Imajinatif, dan Poster; (2) obyek yang mendominasi karya gambar anak sangat beragam, di antaranya tumbuhan, bangunan, binatang, manusia, kendaraan, peralatan, mainan, obyek alam, tokoh imajinatif. Abstract

Abstract: Model of elementary school age children education with very high intelligence on the basis of individualized educational programs. Purpose of the research was to product service instruments for developing potency of elementary schools’ students with very high intelligence on the basis of individualized programs. Design of the research was research & development with steps: conducting exploration, identification and analysis characteristic of elementary school. Research results concluded elementary schools’ children were not exist in all times and educational service appropriate to children with very high intelligence tended to enrichment direction. It can be recommended that schools apply minimal service model with enrichment, but if institutions have supporting relevant resources they can use other two options, i.e. acceleration and cluster grouping.Keywords: educational model, very high intelligence, IEPAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat model layanan untuk mengembangkan potensi kecerdasan istimewa siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) berbasis pada Individualized Programs. Rancangan penelitian pengembangan, tahap kegiatan melakukan eksplorasi identifikasi dan analisis karakteristik SD. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa anak cerdas di SD tidak hadir sepanjang waktu, dan model layanan pendidikan kepada siswa unggul atau cerdas istimewa cenderung ke arah pengayaan (enrichment). Disarankan, sekolah dapat menerapkan model layanan minimal bersifat pengayaan (enrichment), namun jika lembaga memiliki kesiapan sumber daya penunjang yang relevan dapat memanfaatkan dua opsi model yang lain yakni percepatan (acceleration) dan pengelompokan khusus (cluster grouping).Kata Kunci: model pendidikan, cerdas istimewa, IEP
