Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the creation of the Graphic Novel biography of Prambanan Temple is to introduce and preserve the folklore of particular legend Roro Jonggrang. Research conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of branding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and conclusions. From the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to a strategy of making books and media that will be used to achieve the target the intended audience. After analysis of the data, the found a concept or design, branding keywords i.e. "Dream". The description of the concept of "Dream" is a realization of a dream that is associated with the imagination of cheerful popularized on the visual aspect to interest children in reading, recognizing and preserving folklore. In this "Dream" or the cheerful dream that this would have a heavy on style and typical experimental images with the purpose of bringing the childs imagination into stories so that raises a folklore against imaging are presented.The result of the creation of this book is to introduce and preserve the folklore of particular legend Roro Jonggrang increasingly eroded by modern times. Keywords: books, illustration,  folklore, dream (dream of cheerful)

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of creation of a media campaign Solo Mangkunegaran this is to preserve local cultural heritage. The study was conducted using qualitative research method is by conducting interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support conception. Data were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the data analysis found some keywords that will be used to reach the intended target audience. After analyzing the data, found a concept or keyword of "The majesty of noble". Description of the concept of "the majesty of noble" is a grandeur of the noble values in Mangkunegaran. In this case how to maintain local cultural heritage that is Mangkunegaran Solo to be able to be promoted with the right strategy to the target audience. Abstract

Abstract: Media promotion is often considered as the technique of the most effective marketing communication to convey messages to the public. But to be able to arrive at an effective level of promotional media, required some consideration of the elections including the following media promotion. In making this final task, the use of photographic techniques will be presented in a reference book Pura Mandhara Giri Semeru Agung, with the contents of the Visual image message can be designed in more detail, informative, and with a more appropriate size. Pura Mandara Giri Semeru Agung is a religious and cultural attractions that exist in Lumajang. Its existence much sucking attention mostly Hindus, especially in Java and Bali. Even this place is also a temple senior se Asia. This object is able to display the grandeur and unique to Lumajang, so it is worth to be visited and studied. The creation of the reference book is intended as one of the efforts to attract peoples interest to be more interested in visiting the places that have a value of culture and religion in Indonesia, particularly the Lumajang and cultural preservation efforts of Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract: Taman Sari Keraton Yogyakarta is one of the curtural heritage in Indonesia who have cultural values and symbols of royal power that reigned at the time. Is currently only used as a cultural heritage of society as a place traveled without preserving the building. During this time many media lift Taman Sari as beautiful objects that need to be visited without explaining in detail one by one part of Taman Sari that historical element in Taman Sari is not known by the public. For the book illustration is made by way of explaining in detail the functions parts of Taman Sari on Sri Sultan HamengkuBuwono 1 and as a result of the reconstruction of buildings have been destroyed that can not be done with photography and videography. Creation of book illustration is done by using qualitative research methods, the approach of observation, interviews and literature studies. The Picture of Peaceful concept implemented using illustrations with wet dye technique or watercolor. Abstract

AbstractWayang Wahyu is the one of local culture that owned by Indonesian Nation, which is a performance art with media images or mock that made by leather and wood that tell the stories from Old Testament to the New Testament. But in a real situation, Wayang Wahyu is now being forgeted because so many incoming foreign culture that appear, a lack of awareness that known how importance the local culture, and required an exciting the new media to delivering the message of the Bible for children. Based on observation, interview, and literature, found the fact that children are less familiar with traditional art of Wayang Wahyu. Therefore, the purpose of this creation is to revive the existence of Wayang Wahyu for introduce to children. The method that used to create an illustrated book of the Bible is using the characters by puppet in order to make a sense of belonging and not effected the foreign taste in the message of Bible stories that will be delivered, equipped with two languages (Indonesian – Javanese language), interactive pages, also supported some promotional media like mini X-banners, display character, key chains, bookmarks, stickers and pins. Through this illustrated book of the Bible, can be used the attractive preaching for Christianity and introduce the Wayang Wahyu as local cultural to the children. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tanaman herbal yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan perawatan kecantikan wajah untuk remaja putri. Hasil penelitian ini ditujukan untuk para remaja akhir, khususnya remaja putri yang berusia 18 hingga 21 tahun dengan berbagai tipe kulit wajah. Selain itu hasil analisis data ini memberikan informasi tentang manfaat serta cara mengolah dan mengaplikasikannya pada wajah. Sedikitnya 5 remaja putri yang telah diobservasi oleh peneliti sebagian dari mereka belum banyak memahami tentang tanaman herbal ini maka dari itu peneliti akan memperkenalkan buku ilustrasi tentang tanaman herbal yang bermanfaat untuk perawatan kecantikan ini kepada pare remaja putri agar dapat mendambah pengetahuan.

Abstract

Abstrak :  Keberadaan tenun ikat di dalam kehidupan masyarakat memiliki peran dan bernilai sangat baik secara ekonomi, sosial dan budaya. Nilai-nilai ini dapat dilihat dari perilaku atau kebiasaan masyarakat daerah Flores. Pentingnya budaya tenun ikat membuat penulis mencoba merancang buku referensi yang berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan tenun ikat tradisional di masyarakat Kabupaten Sikka khususnya di pulau Palue yang merupakan salah satu kepulauan di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Buku yang dirancang ini secara khusus diperuntukkan bagi kalangan remaja di Kabupaten Sikka, karena penulis berasumsi bahwa kaum remaja di kabupaten tersebut lambat laut mengalami perubahan akan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya  minat remaja untuk melestarikan kembali budaya tradisionalnya, salah satunya yaitu dengan menenun.

inside this document, researchers do an observation on coffee products from “You Coffee” Wonosalam and found a problem, “You Coffee” does not have a visual identity that can describe the characteristics of “You Coffee”. this research will focus on the new logo as a visual identity. The concept for this redesign is Vibrant. The concept is to make an impression to the public and consumer that products of “You Coffee” is the Vibrant product Wonosalam coffee by making a visual identity that can describe the characteristics of “You Coffee”.This redesign also makes the Graphic Standart Manual that provide an explanation for the logo of “You Coffee” brand that included explanation logos concept and application for design execution. implementation of stationery sets, flyer, x-banner, packaging, posters, and merchandise is included as an information media in knowing about “You Coffee” Wonosalam.

Abstract

Logo dan Media Promosi merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting dalam dunia advertising, dengan adanya Logo maka sebuah lembaga dapat di kenal dan di kenal oleh para khalayak, oleh sebab itu logo sangatlah penting. Dalam membantu mewujudkan awareness yang ingin dituj oleh suatu lembaga maka media promosi adalah cara terbaik untuk memperkenalkan lembaga tersebut pada khalayak. Permasalahan yang ada pada Cristo Rei adalah tidak adanya Logo yang dapat membedakan tempat wisata ini dengan tempat lain, dan kurangnya media promosi yang mumpuni untuk mengangkat awareness dari Cristo Rei Dili.Cristo Rei adalah sebuah patung yang terletak diatas bukit yang bernama Fatukama. Fatukama sendiri dinamai karena memiliki cerita yang memang benar adanya dan terjadi. Jaman dahulu ada dua suku yang sering bertantangan dengan menggunakan anak panah sebagai senjata utama kedua belah pihak untuk membasmi musuh masing-masing. Sayangnya dengan sejarah yang dimiliki oleh tempat ini belum bisa membuat tempat ini terkenal di mata para wisatawan yang menjalajahi tempat-tempat wisata di muka bumi ini. Dengan ini peneliti membuat perancangan logo dan media promosi guna mendobrak popularitas di mata para wisatawan.Adapula metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam merancang logo dan media promosi Cristo Rei yaitu mengunakan pengumpulan data secara kualitatif yaitu dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, studi kompetitor, dan creative brief yang sangat penting dalam perancanga konsep penelitian. Dari semua hasil analisis data tersebut maka konsep yang di dapat adalah Integrity. Integrity di dapat berdasarkan hasil keyword yang di dapat dan artinya mutu, sifat dan kemampuan yang memancarkan kewibawaan, dan kejujuran persis seperti yang di tonjolkan Cristo Rei yaitu patung Yesus. Perlu adanya upaya perancangan untuk meningkatkan brand awareness dari Cristo Rei yaitu dengan logo dan media promosi. Dengan adanya logo maka para calon wisatawan bisa membedakan Cristo Rei dengan tempat wisata lainnya. Kata Kunci: Brand Awareness, Cristo Rei, Berbasis Religi, Wisata Kota Dili, Integrity.
