Abstract

AbstractThis research focused on attachment behavior at school in children’s with separation anxiety disorder. Token economy is a behavior treatment to reduce attachment behavior at school. The hypothesis was economy token could change attachment behavior at school with separation anxiety disorder aged 7 years. This research design was Single Case Experimental.Design with multiple-baseline design. In the research subjects was one child in elementary school with separation anxiety disorder. Data collected from monitoring sheet were analyzed with conservative-dual criteria(CDC). The form of subject’s attachment figure behavior in school (1) looked into attachment figure to ensure the existence, (2) inquiring the material to his mother than his teacher at school, (3) inquiring to stay in front of the class and (4) closer to his mother than his friends when take arest. The result shows that therapy economy token can reduce attachment behavior at school in children’s with separation anxiety disorder. While the qualitative analysis shows there was parents’ consistency in applying economy token program has played significant role in reducing attachment behavior at school in children’s with separation anxiety disorder.Keywords: attachment behavior at school in children’s, token economy therapy, separation anxiety disorder

Abstract

This research was quasi experimental research aimed at knowing theeffectiveness of motivation training to increase productivity.This researchused non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The researchsubjects were 26 employees of Expecting Division (Quality Control) PTX with low productivity. They were randomly divided in two groups,experiment group and control group. Independent Sample T Test wasused to analyze change productivity from gained score. The result showsthere’s significant difference between experiment group and control groupafter training (t=2.778, p=0.010, p<0.05). The research result shows thatmotivation training is effective to increase productivity.

AbstrakBerbagai macam bencana menimbulkan stres psikologis, tetapi stres akan meningkatapabila banyak orang terbunuh. Reaksi terhadap bencana untuk masing-masing individuberbeda-beda, tetapi reaksi terhadap kerusakan dapat berupa shock, rasa takut, sedih, danmarah, yang dapat mengarah terhadap pemungkiran peristiwa kerusakan yang telah terjadi.Kematian adalah bagian dari kehidupan, yang tiap-tiap individu baik anak maupun orangdewasa harus terbiasa dan memahaminya. Abstract

The earthquake that took place in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) and Central Java on 27 May 2006 gave such tremendous impact to individual and socials physical and psychological factor, as well as material damage. Such alterations were potentially threatening harmonious living that has been upheld by the Javanese. Based on the above thought, this research aimed to illustrate the whole psychological overview about the individuals efforts in countenancing the alterations triggered by theearthquake, using the local wisdom which then brought them to harmonious societys life. This study used qualitative method with the ethnography-grounded theoretical approach. One of this researchs essential finding shows that the Javanese still adhering the Javanese local wisdom in countenancing any kinds of post-earthquake alterations. The society was somewhat took any kinds of conflict, such as the unfair disaster-aid distributions and the local residence officers corruption acts, passively. Their passive reaction showed that for Javanese maintaining the socialharmonious life is the most essential life purpose; compared if they had to claim their violated rights.

Abstract

AbstractThis study focused on the adolescent’s anger, and efforts to manage the emotion of anger. This research used expressive therapy by writing about emotional experience that aims to help adolescents able to express their anger and as a medium of catharsis. The research design was a single group design with “one group pre-test and post-test experimental” method. Participants who attend this research are eight male, with age between 16 to 21 years and had high scores on STAXI Scale. Participants were asked to write down their emotional experiences in a book. The result of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test showed a significant decreasing in participant’s anger after writing session. The results show that writing an emotional experience in expressive therapies able to reduce the emotion of anger in adolescent.Keywords: anger, emotion, writing emotional experience therapy.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to test empirically the relationship betweenorganizational climate and the quality of work life of employees at PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja. The sample is the whole employees of PT. Aseli Dagadu Djokdja. Data were collected through organization climate scale and qualityof work life scale. Product Moment Correlation was used as analysis technique. Based on result of data analysis, there is positive correlation between organizational climate and PT. Aseli Dagadu Djokdja employee’s quality of work life. The effective contribution of organization climate to quality of work life was 48,4%.Keywords : organizational climate, quality of work life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of classical music inreducing math anxiety. The participants in this study were 14 public highschool students from class XI at Department of Social Sciences (IPS)which has an average to above average IQ scores and high to very highlevels of anxiety. Data collection tool used Mathematics Anxiety Scaleand Evaluation Music Sheet. This study used a pretest-posttest experimentalwith control group design. Random used in this study was a matchingsystem. Data analysis in this study used Wilcoxon test. The results of dataanalysis showed significant decrease in scores between pretest and posttestin the experimental group (KE) with p = 0.014. This result indicated thatclassical music was effective in reducing math anxiety in students. Mathanxiety might decline as the students listen to classical music while learningmathematics.

Abstract

AbstrakPerilaku agresif  yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini menunjukkan gejala yang memprihatinkan,telah terjadi loncatan yang begitu tajam baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Agresivitasyang dilakukan tidak sekedar  insidental atau musiman, melainkan sudah menjadi kebiasaan,bahkan terencana. Bentuk perilakunya amatlah beragam, mulai dari perkelahian, pengrusakan,perampokan, pembunuhan, pemerkosaan dan tindak kriminal lainnya. Untuk menjelaskanfactor dasar yang menjdi penyebab munculnya perilaku agresif dapat ditinjau dari beberapapendekatan, yakni: pendekatan biologis, pendekatan eksternal dan belajar.Perilaku agresf juga berkaitan dengan kecemasan. Adapun faktor yang memunculkankecemasan adalah biologis, psikoanalisis, kepribadian, perilaku, belajar, kognitif danhumanistik.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara kecemasan denganagresivitas dengan angka korelasi 0, 459, r2 adalah 0, 21067 dengan P (0,05) artinya bahwasumbangan kecemasan terhadap agresivitas pada mahasiswa sebesar 21,06,  % dan 78, 94disebabkan oleh faktor lain.Kata kunci: kecemasan, agresivitas

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to test the role of teaching efficacy as a mediatorrelationship between personality factors and optimal teaching performance.Construct personality factor involved is Big Five personality. Participantsin this study were 142 teachers who are representatives of the provincesin Indonesia. Measurement instruments are Five Factors Personality Scale,Teaching Efficacy Scale and Teaching Performance Scale. This studysuggest that the role of personality factors indirectly effect is better to explainvariations in teaching performance than directly effect. This conclusionsare based on two results of the statistical analysis: (1) results fromhierarchical regression analysis indicates that at final stage, entering factorsof teaching efficacy has reduced the role of all five factors of personality tothe teaching performance of teachers ( F = 17.81 p<0.01; R2 = 21.8%).Comparison of coefficient value from two types of effect (direct effectversus indirect effect) in structural equation modeling (SEM), suggest thatthe indirect effect coefficient more significant than direct effect. In general,our findings suggest that construct personality has a broad scope that requireother construct more specific or narrower trait as a mediator in explainingthe behavior of the criteria.

Abstract

AbstractGlobalization is everywhere, in this regard, every organization should change according to the needs and requirement of the environment. In addition, in today’s economy, it’s critical to have effective, and efficient organization. Failure to effectively engage employees can result in wasted resources, unboptimal organizational performance, and deteriorating employee morale. On the other hand, successfully engaging and committing employee can result in higher levels or organizational performance as well as higher levels of job satisfaction, both of which are much needed in today’s environment.The question arises whether organizational commitment, and employee engagement are related to individual readiness for change. The objective of this research is to identify the relationship andimpact between organizational commitments, employee engagement to individual readiness to change. This study done in four financial companies, that consist of three private owned banks and one government owned financial company (N= 502), with quantitative methods and correlation survey. The results showed that both organizational commitment and employee engagement are positively relatd and have contributed toindividual readiness to change. The results also show that the correlation of organizational commitment is stronger than employee engagement to individual readiness to change.Keywords: organizational commitment, employee engagement, individual readiness to change.
