Abstract

Konflik berkepenjangan yang melibatkan Thailand dan kamboja banyak mendapatkan sorontan dunia Internasional. Banyak pihak yang ingin menjadi pihak ketiga sebagai mediator dalam konflik tersebut salah satunya Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran Indonesia dalam upaya penyelesaian konflik melalui pendekatan National Role Conception. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Berdasarakan kerangka konseptual dengan menggunakan konsepsi peran nasional, Indonesia bertindak sebagai mediator-integrator dengan melakukan upaya shuttle diplomacy sebagai konsep peran nasionalnya dan memfasilitasi berbagai macam pertemuan bilateral maupun multilateral sebagai bentuk nyata tindakan Indonesia dalam upaya penyelesain konflik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential conflict between Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru after conflict resolution. The research was conducted in the village of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru, Sijunjung Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to reveal how the existence of potential conflicts between the two regions today. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discusion) and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman which consisted of three processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources. The results of the study showed: The potential for conflict is still stored in the nagari community of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru villages after conflict resolution.  Community leaders to the two parties in conflict have not shown their sincerity together to obey the revolution.   The resolution is only an agreement but to comply with it is far from the expectations of those in conflict.

Abstract

This scrip is a "blue print" of the community and customary law in Humbang Hasundutan District of North Sumatra. Aim to find solutions to resolve conflicts related to agrarian resources. Access rights to communal land, applied implementation in policy determination, exploration, conflict mitigation. Describe the legal system and local wisdom that live in indigenous peoples. The research research method uses qualitative research with the ethnographic approach of James P. Spradley. The technique of collecting data is in-depth interviews, participant observation and oral traditions. This ethnography is holistic-integrative, thick description, and qualitative analysis to get native's point of view. The results of the study revealed the mechanism of genological inheritance to children and closest relatives. Inheritance recognized as customary recession, panjaean land for boys or ulos na so buruk for boru girls. Mechanism of buying and selling ulos tu piso, dondon mortgage, giving, contract. Forms of social entities, bius, partolian, golat, huta, marga raja which are customary structures that play the role of holders of communal access rights. Decision-makers and dispute resolution, Pago-pago, Horja, Bius, Raja Nihuta, Bius Raja, Paradaton, Paripe, Nomads enculturation. The socio-political aspects of the community of Sionom Hudon, PBM, Sihas, Chair of the institution, Raja Nihuta, Bius Raja, Paradaton, Paripe.

Abstract

Mobile phones for teenagers turn out to be used more than just a means of ordinary communication, cell phone use in teenagers' daily lives related to lifestyle. The purpose of this study is to find out cell phone use for teenagers. This method was chosen because the issue that was explored was a matter of meaning. Data collection techniques used included observation and interviews. Mobile phones are used as an image of the lifestyle of teenagers buying a mobile phone that is trending with the main reason to look slang, have confidence in front of their friends, and show who they are to others. Mobile phones are very important items in the lives of teenagers. Innovations that are presented in the features available on mobile phones make teenagers increasingly unable to escape from this one object. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that cell phone phones are important in teenager’s life; mobile phones are a side of modern life, cell phones as a lifestyle obtained in cell phones when used.

Abstract

Agama merupakan pondasi dalam kehidupan, karena membawa kehidupan yang penuh bahagia di dunia dan akhirat bagi manusia. Di sisi lain, manusia dalam menjalani aktivitas kehidupan banyak menemui kekerasan, perilaku menyimpang dan kekacauan. Melihat kenyataan bahwa tindakan kekerasan begitu banyak dipengaruhi agama, hubungan antar agama (ideologi), yang tidak hanya menjadi fenomena lokal tetapi sudah menjadi bersifat global. Mengamati kehidupan beragama adalah melalui perilaku yang nampak sebagai pernyataan dari kehidupan seseorang. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya kedewasaan dalam beragama yang penuh dengan asumsi dan pandangan, karena keimanan dan kedekatan dengan Tuhan sangat tidak dapat diukur secara ilmiah. Makna kedewasan beragama yaitu rasa keagamaan, pengalaman keTuhanan, keimanan, sikap dan perilaku keagamaan terbentuk dalam sistem mental dan kepribadian. Maka dari itu kedewasaan beragama tidak terlepas dari kriteria kedewasaan kepribadian, karena jika sikap kedewasaan beragama dimiliki seseorang maka memiliki kedewasaan kepribadian, demikian sebaliknya. Dengan kedewasaan beragama yang dimiliki setiap orang maka terciptalah kerukunan beragama yang merupakan suatu sarana untuk mencapai tujuan lebih jauh yaitu situasi aman dan damai. Kondisi sangat dibutuhkan semua pihak masyarakat terutama di negara kita saat ini, karena hampir setiap daerah sangat sering terjadi konflik antar umat beragama.

Abstract

Billboards, banners, posters, flags, photographs, and the other campaign medias in various sizes, were crowded the private and public spaces of the city.  As if, what were displayed in our daily was the truly images of the candidates of leader and public officials, and does not seems concerned with the aesthetics of the city and public opinion. The aesthetics of spatial order of the city became chaotic due to almost all of political parties did not concern the regulation of General Election Commission No. 15 of 2003. As a regu-lation which was enacted for regulating of displaying campaign medias which are potentially chaotic, and to maintain the order and aesthetics of the city. The campaign medias were not placed on praying homes, hospitals, or the places of health services, government office buildings, educational buildings, higway, infrastructure and public facilities, and city parks (Article 17 General Election Com-mission regulation No 15 of 2013)

Abstract

Disasters are things that always happen in Indonesia. The number of disasters in Indonesia should be balanced with the level of community preparedness in the face of disasters. The level of community readiness in dealing with disasters can drive the change in the disaster paradigm in society. Communities often only respond to disaster events with rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts, however, these efforts still cannot afford to minimize disaster victims. This study used qualitative analysis by considering five variables of disaster preparedness, specifically: disaster knowledge, disaster policy, disaster preparedness plans, early warning systems and resource mobilization capabilities. This research was conducted using interview. The results showed that the community of Sidorejo Village had developed a disaster paradigm towards prevention by utilizing community radio infrastructure. The readiness of the community to deal with disasters followed using community radio infrastructure is able to encourage the people of Sidorejo Village to be better prepared and not easily panic during a disaster. Community-based infrastructure will be more effectively used to improve community preparedness because the community manages the infrastructure.

Abstract

This study describes the participation of voters in regional head elections. The form of research used is descriptive qualitative method. The researcher conducted research directly at the Langkat Regency General Election Commission and the people who became voters in the simultaneous Regional Head General Elections especially the Langkat Regent and Deputy Regent General Elections in 2018. The informants in this study were the Langkat Regency General Election Commissioner. The main informants were the Voters namely the Langkat Regency Population who were at least 17 years and above. Primary data collection, carried out by interview and observation. Secondary data collection is done by library research. The methods of data analysis in this study are as follows: Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Withdrawal of Research Results: The level of voter participation in the Election of Regional Heads (Case Study of Election of Regent and Deputy Regent of Langkat in 2018) which holds 2019- 2024 is 66.48% (or is in the Medium category). Kuala Subdistrict (89.99%) is the highest percentage of voter participation in polling stations in the Langkat District and Deputy Regent Election, while Pangkalan Susu District is the lowest at 55.25%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes Management simultaneously and partially on the Employee Performance of PT. Langsa Plantation Nusantara I. This research was conducted at the Head Office of PT. Langsa Perkebunan Nusantara I, the study was conducted for two months. 83 employees were surveyed randomly as respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. From the data analysis obtained the regression equation Y = 1,042 + 0,132X1 + 0,220X2 + 0,391X3. Furthermore, from the results of the analysis it is known that the value of t arithmetic is 1.665> t table 1.664 and the value of t sig. 0.041 <0.05, which means that the Knowledge Management variable influences employee performance variables. While for the Skill variable, the value of t arithmetic is 2.267> t table 1.664 and the value of t sig. 0.026 <0.05 which means that the Skill variable has a significant effect on employee performance variables. And for the Attitude variable obtained t count value of 4.335> t table 1.664 and t value sig. 0.00 <0.05 which means that the attitude variable has a significant effect on employee performance variables. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes Management simultaneously has a significant effect on employee performance at the Head Office of PT. Langsa Perkebuanan Nusantara I where F count value is 25,477> 3,29.

Abstract

Research on radicalism and deradicalization is prevalent because there are many cases of terrorism. The ideology of terrorism does not only develop among adults but also children. Children have radical ideology as a result of the ideologization process carried out by adults. When children already have this ideology, it will be easily influenced by terrorist ideology. Deradicalization is one of the ways to eliminate this radical ideology. The main question of the research is, how the model of the core subject of deradicalization for children who absorbs radical ideology? This study aims to describe the basic model of the core deradicalization program for children who have been absorbs radical ideology. The findings of this study indicate that the basic model of the core deradicalization require the contain learning about the stories of the Prophet, Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin Islam, Nationalism Insights as well as success and inspirational stories of former Islamic Boarding School students. The model can also be called the Kinila Wasbakap Model.
