Abstract

Kata kunci:Amultiple choice is a kind of test in which answers can be chosen from some availableanswers.Amultiple choice consists of a stem and some choices. The answers consistof a correct answer and some distracters. The correct answer must be the right one,while the distracters are the incorrect ones. The distracters must work as a trap. Itmeans that the students might choose these distracters if they do not master thematerial.This research describes the ability of teachers to create final test of Javanese Languagelesson in an Elementary School. The data were analyzed quantitatively andqualitatively. Qualitative technique was related to the form of the test before beingtested, while the quantitative technique was related to the result of the test.The ability of teachers in making the final test of Javanese Language lesson in theElementary School in the academic year of 2008/2009 in Banyumanik district waspoor. It was indicated by the test that was no proportional in terms of its degree ofdifficulties and the differential level.Kata Kunci : penyusunan, butir soal, ujian akhir sekolah

Abstract

Antara dosen dan mahasiswa merupakan satu kesatuan yang sulit dipisahkan sehingga dibutuhkan suatu metode yang mampu berjalan dengan baik pada proses pembelajaran. Kondisi ini coba diterapkan pada mata kuliah ekonometrika sebagai peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa. Ekonometri sebagai salah satu mata kuliah yang relatif sulit dan membutuhkan pemahaman yang lebih tinggi. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan kemudahan pada proses pembelajaran.  Proses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan student center learning pada kuliah ekonometrika ternyata memberikan efek yang positif. Indikator yang digunakan sebagai ukuran keberhasilan metode pembelajaran adalah perolehan nilai pada kuliah ekonometrika. Berdasarkan survei terhadap 41 orang mahasiswa, hampir sebagian mahasiswa mencapai nilai rata-rata cukup baik. Walupun demikian masih ada mahasiswa dengan perolehan nilai yang relatif  rendah. Sehingga diharapkan pendekatan student center learning mampu menjembatani komunikasai antara dosen dengan mahasiswa.   Lecturers and students are a unity that is difficult to separate each others, it is needed appropriate method on the learning process. This condition is tryied to apply in econometric subjects as improving students’ ability. Econometrics is as one of the subject that is relatively difficult and requires a higher understanding. Under these conditions, it takes a learning method that can facilitate the learning process. The process of learning to approach student learning center on econometric study found a positive effect. Indicators to a measure of success are the grade of learning in college econometrics. Based on a survey of 41 students, most students achieve an average grade. Thus even though there are still students with relatively low grades. So expect a student approaches learning center is good communication between lecturers and students.

Abstract

Students do not have much experience of entrepreneurship in the meantime. Itindicates their weakness of practical application toward community problem. Specificpurpose of this activity is to enhance student’s self-potency through entrepreneurshipsubject in order to be a successful entrepreneur. The teaching methods of this subjectare lecturing, product-making, presentation, direct visit, and written test. Theentrepreneurship subject focuses on problem-solving of small industry. Givingcomprehension and a little experience will help to form their sincerity to start andmanage a business. Statistically, there is a significant difference in entrepreneurialspirit between the initial condition and final condition, either on the basis of selfassessment or peer assessment. Based on the result gained from this activity, it can beconcluded that student’s self-potency can be enhanced through entrepreneurshipsubject. Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the student's degree of satisfaction towardlecture processes. The study was conducted in the odd semester at the Faculty ofMathematics and Science in 2008. The subjects of the research were students of ninemajors of four departments in the faculty. The research subjects, numbering 540students were selected proportionally depending on the number of students in eachmajor. The data of the students' satisfaction were collected with a questioner. Thestudy showed that 74% students felt satisfied with the lectures at the faculty. Threethings which need improvement are: written information of the lesson objective atthe beginning of every session, the compliance of number of hours in each meetingwith the existing regulations, and the return of students' corrected work.Kata kunci: kepuasan layanan, perkuliahan, dan kinerja mahasiswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kontribusi faktor-faktor: (1) perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, (2) iklim kerja organisasi sekolah, dan (3) motivasi kerja guru terhadap produktivitas kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survey explanatory, dengan fokus hubungan kausal antar faktor pembentuk produktivitas kerja guru sebagaimana telah diuraikan di atas. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang yang tergabung dalam empat MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran), yaitu mata pelajaran: matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan ilmu pengetahuan alam. Data dikumpulkan dengan alat pengumpul data kuesioner dari 92 orang guru dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan iklim kerja organisasi sekolah secara simultan dan signifikan berkontribusi terhadap faktor motivasi kerja guru sebagai pembentuk produktivitas kerja sebesar 35%, sisanya dibentuk oleh faktor lain di luar faktor yang diteliti. This study aims to examine the contribution of three different factors, namely, (1) the school principals’ leadership; (2) school organization working climate; and, (3) teachers’ work motivation, to the overall productivity of State Junior High School teachers of Kota Semarang. This study employed explanatory survey method, which focused on the causal relationship amongst the factors that determine teachers’ working productivity. The population in this study is the teachers of the State Junior High Schools of Kota Semarang who are the active members of the Teachers Working Groups (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran, MGMP) of four different subjects, namely Mathematics, Bahasa, English, and Science. The data were gathered through questionnaires given to 92 participating teachers and then analyzed through path analysis approach. The results of this study show that simultaneously both the school principals’ leadership and the working climate of school organization gave a significant contribution to the teachers’ working motivation (35%). The remaining was contributed by different factors uninvestigated in this study.

Abstract

Learning is a set of individual process which changes someone's stimuli andenvironment into a number of information which can give ability to learner to do aperformance. In order to achieve an instructional goal effectively instructional aidsshould be used. One of the learning media supporting eleventh grade students ofSMANU 05 Brangsong Kendal was direct learning done in Ronggowarsito MuseumSemarang. The problem discussed in this study was how the direct learning of historywas applied in Ronggowarsito Museum for the eleventh grade students of SMA NU05 Brangsong Kendal. The second problem was how the students responded to theactivity. This study aims to know the application and the students responses to thedirect learning of history. The method used in this study was qualitative. The datawere collected through observation and interview. The result of the study showed thatby applying direct learning of history in the museum, the students' motivationimproved significantly. Consequently, the students were confident in asking questionsand were active in doing assignments given by the teacher. The study concluded that toget rid of boredom in the history class the teacher should apply interesting techniquessuch as a visit to the Ronggowarsito Museum.Kata kunci: Museum Ronggowarsito, pembelajaran, sejarah, media pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan bimbingan bertahap pada kegiatan MGMP dalam upaya meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP yang baik dan benar, yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme sebagai Pengawas Akademik dan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hipotesis tindakan: meningkatkan kompetensi guru guru SMA Negeri Mapel Bahasa Inggris tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dalam menyusun RPP yang baik dan benar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, masing-masing siklus dua kali pertemuan. Tahapan setiap siklus adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah; 1) hasil observasi Pengawas Akademik maupun observasi guru selama proses bimbingan telah memperoleh skor rata-rata > 4,0, 2) hasil kerja guru dalam penyusunan RPP mencapai > 85% dengan nilai rata-rata > 80,00. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I observasi Pengawas Akademik rata-rata (3,30), observasi guru rata-rata (3,40) dan hasil kerja individual rata-rata nilai (68,95) dengan prosentase ketercapaian (0%). Pada siklus II observasi Kepala Sekolah rata-rata (4,30), observasi guru rata-rata (4,20) dan hasil kerja individual rata-rata nilai (85,43) dengan prosentase ketercapaian (100%). Indikator keberhasilan telah tercapai, penelitian di nyatakan berhasil dan dihentikan pada siklus II. Kesimpulan; pelaksanaan bimbingan bertahap dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru guru Bahasa Inggris SMA Negeri Kota Palembang dalam penyusunan RPP yang baik dan benar. Disarankan agar Pengawas Akademik  lainnya melakukan penelitian sejenis dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan kepada guru mata pelajaran agar mampu menyusun RPP dengan baik dan benar. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of phased guidance in MGMP activities in an effort to improve teacher competency in preparing good and correct lesson plans, which are useful for improving professionalism as Academic Supervisors and for teachers to improve the learning process in the Classroom Action hypothesis: increasing the competence of teacher teachers in the English Language State Senior High School in the school year 2017/2018 in preparing good and correct lesson plans. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this study are; 1) the results of Academic Supervisor observation and teacher observation during the guidance process have obtained an average score of> 4.0, 2) the work of the teacher in the preparation of RPP reaches> 85% with an average score of> 80.00. The results of the study in the first cycle of Academic Supervisor observation were (3.30), teacher observation on average (3.40) and individual work results averaged (68.95) with achievement percentage (0%). In the second cycle of observation the Principal averaged (4.30), the average teacher’s observation (4.20) and the individual work results averaged (85.43) with the achievement percentage (100%). Indicator of success has been achieved, the research was declared successful and stopped in cycle II. Conclusion; the implementation of gradual guidance can improve the competence of English teachers in Palembang City Public High School in the preparation of good and correct lesson plans. It is recommended that other Academic Supervisors conduct similar research in an effort to improve teacher competence, and to subject teachers so that they are able to formulate lesson plans properly and correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktifitas belajar siswa kelas VII E di SMP Negeri 3 Batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua kali siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 3 Batang sebanyak 40 siswa terdiri atas 19 siswa putra dan 21 siswa putri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  hasil belajar siswa pada akhir siklus mengalami peningkatan 95%, sedangkan aktifitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan hingga 94%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktifitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika khususnya siswa kelas VII E di SMP Negeri 3 Batang tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. This study aimed to determine whether the type STAD cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes and learning activities in class VII E SMP Negeri 3 Trunk. This study uses classroom action research with two cycles of action. Subjects were students of class VII E SMP Negeri 3 Rods 40 students consisted of 19 boys and 21 girls students. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students at the end of the cycle has increased 95%, while the learning activities of students has increased to 94%. Thus it can be concluded that the application type STAD cooperative model can improve learning outcomes and student learning activities in math class VII E especially in SMP Negeri 3 Trunk academic year 2009/2010.

Abstract

Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan di sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Krangkeng belum berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Hakikat dari biologi, tujuan pendidikan nasional dan perkembangan jaman menuntut keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis instrumen penilaian di sekolah, mengembangkan instrumen penilaian untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, dan menguji efektivitas serta kepraktisan instrumen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and development. Prosedur pengembangan produk melalui tahap penelitian pendahuluan dan pengembangan. Pada tahap pendahuluan terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu studi lapangan dan studi literatur. Tahap pengembangan, melalui beberapa bagian, yaitu 1) menyusun jenis instrumen, 2) validasi ke pakar, 3) ujicoba skala terbatas dan 4) ujicoba skala luas. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah jenis instrumen yang digunakan di sekolah memiliki tingkatan taksonomi kognitif C1 sampai C2, kadang digunakan C3. Instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan adalah tes esai analisis, lembar performa berpikir, dan tes problem solving. Instrumen dinyatakan valid, reliabel, dan praktis. Instrumen juga berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif. The type of assessment instruments used in the school were not oriented toward higher-order thinking skills. The nature of biology, national education goals and challenges of science and technology development of thinking skills require more than just the basic thinking. The purposes of this study were: 1) to analyze the assessment instruments used in the school, 2) to develop assessment instruments used to measure higher-order thinking skills, and 3) to test the effectiveness and practicality of the instrument. The type of study was Research and development. The procedure of product development were the preliminary research and development. In the preliminary research, the study was divided into two stages, they are the field of study, and literature study. The development stage started by constructing the type of instruments, validation of the expert,  limited testing  and extensive testing. The results of this study showed that the type of instruments used in the school were  in the range of cognitive taxonomy of C1 and C2 and sometimes used the C3 and concept-oriented. Assessment instrument developed were essay anlysis test, the sheet of students’ thinking performance, and problem solving test. The instruments were declared valid, reliable, and practical. The instruments were declared effective because it  showed positive impact on learning outcomes.

Abstract

The lecturing process is the ones of the education aspects to be evaluate, behind input and output aspects, at the university. The lecturing process must be planning, implementing, and evaluating. Evaluator of the lecturing process usually to be done by lectures. Evaluation subject are university students. Lectures rarely to evaluate their performs and competencies. In order to increase the university quality, the perform and competencies lectures, activity, interest, and motivation students were evaluated.
