Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the business conditions of fishing communities in Ngalipaeng II village. This research is a type of qualitative research. In coastal communities, traditional fishermen are the most suffering, poor and often the victims of the marginalization process due to fisheries modernization policies. In general, the so-called traditional fishermen are fishermen who utilize fishery resources with traditional fishing equipment, small business capital, and relatively simple fishing organizations. In general, fishermen still experience limited fishing technology. With a simple fishing gear, the operational area becomes limited, only around the coastal waters. Another problem is that access to markets is often not owned by fishermen, especially fishermen who live on small islands. Meanwhile, the condition of fish that easily rot, is a big problem faced by traditional fishermen. The income earned by these fishermen is generally used to fulfill the basic needs of family members. The basic needs that are intended in this case are food, clothing and housing as basic needs that are very important for survival, as well as social needs such as activities for merry, thanksgiving and others. Many fishing communities have not been able to meet the needs of household life, education, and other needs. Because given the results of fishing businesses that are so low / less because of limited costs and working capital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Product Quality on Customer Loyalty Wardah Cosmetic at Transmart Bahu Manado. This research method uses a quantitative method, with a sample of 96 respondents who are Wardah product costumers. The sampling techniques in this study are using Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this study is a simple regression data analysis method with an associative approach to see a causal relationship that includes validity test, reliability test, and simple regression analysis processed using the help of computer program SPSS 25. From the test result can be known statistically, it can be seen clearly that the independent variable Product Quality affects the dependent variable Customer Loyalty. The result of the study show: Based on the calculation results of the determinant coefficient obtained the R square value of 0,725 or 72,5% which states that there is variable influence Product Quality on the variable Customer Loyalty, while the remaining 24,5 % is influenced by other factors not present in this study. This shows that Product Quality has a significant effect on Customer Loyalty. Where if the Product Quality is getting better, Customer Loyalty will be higher too.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Multilevel Marketing on the sale of Serim Vitamin C Salisa. Cosmetics has become one of the human needs in general. One of the cosmetics companies that saw this opportunity and marketed its products in Indonesia, namely PT. Aura Cantik Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research. The data validity test results obtained all items in question declared valid. Furthermore, Anova output above is known that the calculated F value = 744,645 with a significance of 0,000 <0.05 then the regression model can be used to predict Multi-Level Marketing (X) variables or in other words, there are the influence of Multi-Level Marketing (X) variables on Sales variables ( Y). Furthermore, the results of the Determination Coefficient Test, R Square of 88.5% which states that the variable Sales of Vitamin C Salisa (Y) Serum Products is influenced by the Multi-Level Marketing (X) influence variable, while the remaining 11.5% is influenced by other variables that are not in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the existence of factors influence a company's marketing, personal, social, cultural and psychological effects are significant for consumer behaviour in the use of Grab Car. Consumer behavior is a process undertaken by someone in finding, buying, using, evaluating, and disposing of a product or service after it is consumed, the study was conducted at the Faculty of social and political sciences of the University of Sam Ratulangi Manado by taking 100 students as the respondent. Withdrawal methods used is the sample Random Sampling with data analysis using multiple regression. By using the test validity and reliability in order to test the validity of the data. The results of this research show that cultural factors, social, personal, and psychology at the same time positively and significantly to the decision of the consumer in using the Grab Car with personal factors the most dominant, and it has high determination coefficient values, or have a great contribution towards the decisions of consumers.

Abstract

In measuring the soundness of the bank, Bank Indonesia uses the financial ratio of the CAMELS model (Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 6/10 / PBI / 2004) concerning the Commercial Bank Soundness Rating System. The purpose of this research is to find out the significant differences in financial performance between PT. BNI, Tbk with PaninBank and the dominant variable as a differentiator of significant financial performance between PT. BNI, Tbk with PaninBank. The data analysis method used in this study is two different tests independent sample. The results showed that of the 5 variables, there were only two variables that were not statistically different, namely Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) (X1) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) (X5) while the different variables were Return On Risked Asset (RORA) ( X2), Net Profit Margin (NPM) (X3) and Return On Assets (ROA) (X4)

Abstract

Turnover intention is an early sign of employee turnover. For the hotel industry, turnover problems will certainly affect the performance of the company/hotel, and will certainly have an impact on the tourism sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress factors, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on the employee's turnover intention. This research uses a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were all-star hotel employees in North Sulawesi. The research sample was taken by an area random sampling technique. The questionnaire was used to obtain data from 159 respondents. Data were collected and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques, with the help of Amos 24 software. The results showed that job stress had a positive and not significant effect on job satisfaction, work stress had a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intentions, job stress had a negative and not significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction had a negative and not significant effect on employee turnover intentions, and commitment organizational and not significant positive effect on employee turnover intentions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the employee’s salary and job satisfaction. This research is descriptive qualitative. Eight informants are employees. Data collection techniques in-depth interviews and observation. The results of found eight informants satisfied with their work, satisfied with the supervisor, satisfied with a coworker but not satisfied with salary because they were still below the Provincial minimum wage standard. Five informants were dissatisfied with shopping voucher gifts as employee salaries. Their informants were satisfied with promotion because it was promoted and five informants did not get the promotion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence hotel tax revenues in the Nabire Regency of Papua. The results of the study showed that the hotel tax contribution in 2014 and 2018 was not as expected by the government, especially Nabire Regency. So that autonomy ordinance in the province of Papua can be optimal and successful, a fair planning and use of tax process is needed as from the legal authority and responsible and implemented in accordance with the mechanism of tax use.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence between Financial Leverage on Earning Per Share (EPS) on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The variables in this research are Financial Leverage (X) and Earning Per Share (Y), with a unit of measurement of percentage (%). The population is all food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which sampled as many as 5 companies over five years, namely in 2009-2013 by purposive sampling. Data collected is processed using the ratio of debt to equity ratio and earning per share. To test the hypothesis used simple linear regression analysis techniques, correlation, and t-test. Based on the results of the correlation shows a low relationship, this is in accordance with the interpretation guidelines while the coefficient of determination is the influence of financial leverage on earning per share is 7.4%, while the remaining 92.6% is determined by other factors not examined by researchers. For the significance test, there is no effect of financial leverage on earnings per share in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study and analyze the effect of transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and work environment on employees' performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Puruk Cahu simultaneously or partially. These samples included 67 respondents who were determined by sampling saturated. Data were collected by questionnaire and then the results were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) Partial, transformational leadership style variable effect is not significant to the variable performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Puruk Cahu. (2) Partial, organizational culture variables that significantly influence the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Puruk Cahu. (3) Partial, work environment variables significantly affect the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Puruk Cahu. (4) Simultaneously or together, the variables of transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and working environment have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Puruk Cahu. (5) Of the three most dominant influences variable is the variable of organizational culture.
