Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the formation of the optimal portfolio on the Jakarta Islamic Index 30 (JII30) stocks during the new normal period. The model used is a single index model. This study uses secondary data for the period December 2020 - November 2021 from stocks listed on JII30 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that the selected model provides optimal benefits. The risk-free asset return does not provide a higher return than the simulation results. Of the 30 stocks listed in JII30, obtained 7 stocks with the most significant proportion of funds, namely ERAA (25.72%), MDKA (24.87%), TLKM (17.98%), EXCL (12.82%), AKRA (7.54%), ADRO (6.73 %) and ANTM (4.34%). The formation of the optimal portfolio in this study produces an expected return of 0.009974 or 1%, where the portfolio return is above the market rate of return and the average risk-free rate. Meanwhile, the optimal portfolio risk obtained is 0.003173 and the standard deviation is 0.056327 or 5.63%. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic which has subsided and the economy is getting better has resulted in the formation of an optimal JII30 portfolio that can be carried out and reduce investment risk during the new normal period. Keywords: Jakarta Islamic Index 30 (JII30), Single Index model, new normal, Optimal portfolio

Abstract

East Java Province has an uneven welfare condition. The uneven welfare conditions are indicated by a large number of poor people in East Java and the rate of economic growth which has decreased in 2020, reaching -2.39% due to the impact of the pandemic. Welfare can be measured through several indicators, while the indicators used to classify districts and cities in East Java among others include population density, labor force, labor force participation rate, and open unemployment rate. Thus, to find out the grouping of regencies and cities in East Java Province based on the level of welfare, grouping was carried out using the K-Means and Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) methods. For each of the two methods, distance calculations are performed using the Euclidean and Manhattan distances. Each distance was tested for validity using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI), C-Index, and Dunn Index. This study concludes that the best method is the DBSCAN method using Manhattan distance with MinPts = 2 and eps = 4 which has the smallest DBI value of 0.284, with 2 clusters formed and 5 noise. Cluster 1 consists of 26 regencies, cluster 2 consists of 7 cities, and noise consist of 5 regencies and cities. Keywords: Welfare, K-Means, DBSCAN, Euclidean Distance, Manhattan Distance.

Abstract

Describing the mistakes that are often made by PGMI students in solving the mathematical problem solving ability test on the material of volumetric shapes is the basic goal of this research. This research belongs to the type of descriptive research with the object of research being fourth semester PGMI students at one of the State Universities (PTN) of North Sumatra province. The sample of data sources collected is 34 people with heterogeneous ability levels. The data source collection instrument was carried out using an essay test. The flow of data analysis is carried out by reducing the data then presenting the data in the form of tables and figures, finally drawing conclusions. The results of this study revealed that the error experienced by students was in understanding the concept of volume incorrectly and it was assumed that they were unable to distinguish the concept of surface area from volume. The next aspect is the lack of accuracy in understanding the text of the question which ultimately solves the problem with wrong perceptions, the answers are not arranged logically and systematically with the stages of problem solving, and errors at the counting stage in getting the final answer. Abstract

Several studies on self-regulated learning show that self-regulated learning is related to learning outcomes. In this study it was concluded that individuals will get good results, if they have good self-regulation. But the researchers found research that contradicted this conclusion. The purpose of this study was to find out how to make self-regulated learning directly proportional to student learning outcomes. Research that can be done to find out the description of the research results is a meta-analysis. Subjects were taken from two scientific databases, namely the thesis database for students majoring in Mathematics Education UNTIRTA and scientific articles from the International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education about self-regulated learning. The data analysis technique used in this study is identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. The conclusion of this study can be concluded that in determining the way in which self-regulated learning is directly proportional to student learning outcomes, it can be seen from various research categories.
