Children’s readiness to enter elementary school is a condition that parents and teachers should consider in early childhood education. The children’s school readiness has an impact on their social adjustment, interaction, and academic achievement. One of the essential aspects that children need to enter elementary school is resilience, or the ability to survive when they face problems and difficulties. This article provides a view on the readiness of children in entering formal education from the aspect of resilience. The review of resilience as the children’s readiness to enter formal education is interesting because nowadays, resilience is increasingly needed to fulfill children's readiness to enter formal education, considering the competition and pressures that children face in school. This article uses a literature review by collecting various references related to resilience and children’s school readiness to be discussed further. It is found that compassion, communication, empathy, and appropriate support provided by adults and schools with a conducive climate and fairness will foster and increase resilience in children. With good resilience, the child becomes tougher in facing the challenges they encountered in the school environment.

The purpose of this research was to find out the benefits of applying infographics as a tool or media in conducting socialization related to efforts to improve the character of caring for the environment. One of which could be realized by doing recycling activities, mainly from types of plastic waste such as used plastic bottles used as some valuable items that have benefits and can be for sale. MI Tarbiyatul Athfal Lamongan was the subject of the research because the school was one of the schools that have implemented infographics. Qualitative descriptive was the method and approach used. Meanwhile, observation, interviews, and documentation were parts of the data analysis techniques. The observations and interviews became the primary sources in this study which were obtained directly from the school involving the principal and teachers. The results of literature studies or supporting literature were also used as a second source in research. Choosing this infographic was due to several elements, including a clear and easy-to-understand language structure and an attractive design. Thus, it would foster the readers’ interest to read it. The conclusion obtained was one of the tools or media to explain various information that would be boring if presented in long text. It was more effective and efficient if packaged in the form of infographics. In addition to the attractive appearance design, the language used was also short, clear, and easy to understand by readers so that the information to be conveyed was successfully received quickly.

This research was motivated by students’ poor writing skills in learning writing skills. This was due to several problems experienced by students, such as students’ lack of knowledge of elements in writing, sentence composing, correct use of words and punctuations, and having difficulty expressing their ideas in a narrative essay. This study aimed to determine the differences and improvements in the pretest and post-test by using the POW + C-SPACE strategy on the narrative writing skills of grade V students of SDN 102 Pekanbaru. This type of research was an experiment with a pre-experimental design method. The sample in this study amounted to 30 students. The data were collected through tests. The research instrument was a test to assess students’ narrative writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia. Based on the research results, a significant increase was obtained between the average class score on the pre-test (pretest), 60.36, and the average class score on the final (post-test) test, 79.9. In the gain index, there was a difference with an average increase of 0.51, namely the medium category.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Sukuraga puppet story on the student’s character education in elementary schools. This study utilized a quasi-experimental type of quantitative approach. The design used in this research is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects used in the study were 4 th -grade students of SDN Suryakencana CBM. The data collection tool in this study used a questionnaire using a Likert scale measurement consisting of 20 statements with the answers to statements including Always (SL), Often (SR), Sometimes (KK), Rarely (J), Never (TP). ) based on a checklist (√) on the attitude scale instrument grid. Based on the results of data processing pretest and posttest, with the calculation of the t-test carried out with the help of the IBM SPSS version software 26 with the results of planting character education using the Sukuraga puppet story, it obtained sig (2- tailed) 0.000 which is less than = 0.05. Based on the results from this calculation, it can be concluded that the story of the wayang Sukuraga affected the character education of students.

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes on the theme of “Daerah Tempat Tinggalku,” the sub-theme of Bangga terhadap Daerah Tempat Tinggalku, the learning 3 and 4 at grade IV SD Swasta Adven Timbang Deli by using the Role Play model. The subjects in this study were 35 fourth-grade students, and the object of this study was students’ learning outcomes and the role-play model. This type of research was Classroom Action Research. Data collection techniques used were tests and sheets. The results showed an increase in students’ learning outcomes. In the pretest, it was found that the average score was 59.77, and the classical completeness level was 22.8%. In the first cycle, there was an increase after using the Role Play model with an average score of 71.20 and a classical completeness level of 45.71%. And after the actions taken and given posttest in cycle II, the average value increased by 81.00 and the classical completeness level of 88.57%. It was obtained as many as 31 students completed their learning outcomes and four students did not complete. The results obtained show that the Role Play model improved students’ learning outcomes at grade IV SD Swasta Adven Timbang Deli Medan for the 2020/2021 academic year. Based on the research, teachers are advised to use the Role Play model because it is proven to improve students’ learning outcomes.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Sukuraga puppet media on students’ descriptive writing skills in upper classes of elementary school. The type of research was Quasi-Experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research was the fifth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rambay in the 2020/2021 academic year. The samples were determined by saturated sampling. The samples of this study were 20 students from class V B as the experimental group and 20 students from class V A as the control group. The descriptive writing skills research data resulted from the instrument in the form of a test that explained one thing that had been validated. Data of the skills described the analysis by using a two-sample independent T test. The test results produced a sig value of 0.025, smaller than 0.05. Thus, H₀ was rejected, H₁ was accepted. These results indicated significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. The Sukuraga puppet media affected students' descriptive writing skills.

This study aimed to describe the teacher's role in online SBdP learning in class III-B SDN 1 Nagrak, Kabupaten Sukabumi. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with the type of case study. The research subjects used were class III-B teachers at SDN Nagrak. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed by techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, which consisted of data reduction, data display, and Conclusion/Verification. The results of the study revealed that 7 teacher roles out of 9 teacher roles were applied in the learning process. Among them were the teacher's roles as an informer, as a director, as a motivator, as a facilitator, as a mediator, as an organizer, and as an evaluator. The supporting and inhibiting factors for the teacher's role in SBdP online learning were the internal and external factors.

The purpose of this research was to find out the implementation of a project-based learning model in improving meaningful learning in distance learning on PAI sub lesson "Mari Ikhlas Beramal" in SDN Pereng and SDN 2 Cucukan, Prambanan in 2021. The variable of the target of change was meaningful learning seen from the improvement of mastery of concepts, learning activities, responses, and critical thinking skills of the students with a project-based learning model. This research was classroom action research using a cycle model consisting of two cycles. The research subjects were 18 students of grade V SDN Pereng, and 25 students of grade V. Data collection techniques used observation of learning activities and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative analysis models. The research results from cycle to cycle obtained an increase in the meaningful learning at grade V in Sub-Lesson "Mari Ikhlas Beramal” after the implementation of classroom actions using a project-based learning model.

The declining condition of character education can be seen from many irregularities such as corruption, environmental destruction, criminal acts, behavior that violates rules, lowtime discipline, and irresponsible behavior. Thus, shaping the character based on exemplary and habits is essential to be carried out, especially for students, as a basis for building civilization. The objective of this study was to identify exemplary-based characters in fifthgrade students of SD Islam Athirah 2 Makassar. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive findings presentation techniques. Data in this research were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The study results concluded that the character orders based on exemplary at grade V SD Islam Athirah 2 Makassar were divided into two. The first was exemplary intentionally, which consisted of being disciplined to be on time, being responsible, caring for the environment, and caring socially. The second was an exemplary accident, consisting of exemplary teachers applying the latest learning technology and courtesy.

The basic concept of thematic learning is learning through a methodology in Islam. This scientific work aimed to reveal the basic concept of contextual or thematic learning using a method in Islamic perspective and why thematic learning became a learning concept for elementary school children and madrasah children. In this study, researchers used Library Research (Literature) research. The data were collected through documentation. The data analysis method in this study was content analysis. This study explained how (1) the thematic learning concept as a methodology in Islam based on the Quran was stated in surah al- baqarah verse 129 and verse 151, explaining that learning integrated an understanding for skills, knowledge, integrity, attitude, and character. (2) the thematic learning was certainly very appropriate to be applied to elementary school children or madrasah ibtidaiyah children in which thematic learning was a derivative of the concept of science in Islam or often referred to as (Wahdah Al-ulum) or known as the integration of science, assimilation of science, objectifies of science, and interconnection of science. (3) Integrated thematic learning was applied, all of which were seen from various aspects of the learner's cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of the learner itself. This research was expected to be used by furtherresearchers as one of the additional information to conduct research using literature studies to facilitate improving a study that will be studied.
