Abstract

This study aims to evaluate teacher performance through the implementation of differentiated learning at SDN Randuacir. The program evaluation was conducted by identifying discrepancies between the government's standards for differentiated learning and the actual implementation at the school. This research employs an evaluative qualitative approach using the Discrepancy Evaluation Model developed by Malcolm Provus, which consists of five stages: design, installation, process, product, and cost-benefit analysis. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that discrepancies were present in all stages, including design, installation, process, product, and cost-benefit analysis. These discrepancies were primarily due to the inadequate execution of the design stage. It is concluded that teacher performance has not yet reached its optimal level and needs improvement, particularly in pedagogical, professional, and social competencies.

Abstract

This research develops cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments and cognitively differentiated worksheets designed to enhance students' scientific literacy in science learning. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the Plomp model, the study involved 28 students, each from Class IV A and IV B at MIN 1 North Lampung. Data was collected through documentation, questionnaires, interviews, and observation, and analyzed using t-tests, practicality tests, and product validation. Expert validation showed the instruments and worksheets were highly valid, with average scores of 92% for cognitive diagnostic assessment questions, 94% for post-test questions, and 94% for material, linguistic, and media validation. The practicality test showed educators' responses at 84% and students' at 87%, both rated as very practical. A t-test revealed a significant difference (p = 0.001, p < 0.05) between the experimental and control classes in post-test scores. The results indicate that the developed cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments and differentiated worksheets are valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Module based on problem-based learning using material related to the Human Respiratory System. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods. This study is a development research project (Research and Development) utilising the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). To test the validity of the E-Module product based on problem-based learning (PBL) development, it requires two media experts, two language experts, and two design experts. The results of the study indicate that the validation process of the e-module based on Problem-Based Learning, using material on human respiration, to improve students' creative thinking skills yielded "very decent" results. Therefore, it can be said that this product is very suitable for use as a teaching material in learning about the human respiratory system in science. This problem-based learning E-module also received a very positive response from all research subjects, as evidenced by both teacher and student assessments. It can be concluded that the researcher has developed an E-Module that aligns with the research objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Canva-based E-Module on the Sumbang 12 material of the Budaya Alam Minangkabau (BAM) subject for Grade V students. The study employed both quantitative and qualitative methods. It is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Six validators validated the Canva-based E-Module across three aspects: content, language, and media. The content validation received a score of 96.71%, categorised as "Highly Valid"; the language aspect received 93.13%, also "Highly Valid"; and the media aspect received 89.17%, likewise categorised as "Highly Valid." The overall average score for the Canva-based E-Module across all aspects was 93%, placing it in the "Highly Valid" category. The average response scores from teachers and students toward the Canva-assisted E-Module were 100% and 93.16%, respectively, both categorised as "Very Good."

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of research trends in learning and assessment practices in Indonesia. A total of 274 documents were initially collected, from which 100 articles that met the predetermined criteria were selected for in-depth analysis. The data reveals a distribution of research across 34 provinces, with 20 provinces being represented in the final sample. The findings indicate a predominant focus on media-based approaches in reading instruction, reflecting a growing interest in integrating media into learning strategies. In terms of assessment, the use of combined or hybrid assessment methods emerges as the most common practice, suggesting an effort to capture a more holistic understanding of student performance. Despite these developments, the overall impact of the research remains limited, as most studies are still conducted on a local scale and have not significantly influenced national educational policy or practice. This highlights the need for broader dissemination and application of research findings to enhance their relevance and utility at the national level. Strengthening the connection between educational research and practice is essential for advancing the quality of learning and assessment in Indonesia.
