Abstract

The development of education in the modern era must be a concern for all education actors, in the context of this study, which is related to educational innovation in the digital era. Tulungagung Regency is one of the areas that is also affected or also intersects with the digital era, in which the level of education at the elementary-junior high school level should also follow the times. The research objective is to analyze the concept of innovation in education which is closely related to aspects of social change, but broadly speaking, in implementing educational innovation there are main aspects that are of concern, namely: principals, teachers, students, curriculum, and facilities. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, with informants of education actors in Tulunggaung Regency. The results of this study indicate the main aspects of concern, namely: principals, teachers, students, curriculum, and facilities. Of the five aspects, it is important to carry out an adaptation effort and adjust it according to the conditions and developments of the times. One thing that must be the main concern is on the facility side, of course every change or development of the times also makes a learning model or learning implementation system change. The implementation of adaptation is what makes it important and imperative, especially in the adjustment of learning facilities.

Abstract

Understanding the role of leadership style in the form of transactional leadership style, transformative leadership style and visionary leadership style in improving the quality of madrasa education in Banten Province, including exposing the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses literature study method. The author examines the existing problems by examining several books and related journal articles to compare and draw conclusions. The results of this study show the following: First, the leadership style of Madrasah directors in Banten Province is very different, especially at the research site, namely some have developed a transactional leadership style (the academic community of MAN 1 Serang City), some have developed a transformative leadership style (the MAN 2 Kota Serang academic community). Attack), and some of them develop visionary leadership styles (the academic community of MAN 1 Serang Regency). Second, the different leadership styles of madrasah directors practiced in different locations with different leadership styles play a significant role in efforts to improve the quality of madrasah education in Banten Province.

Abstract

Artikel ini betujuan untuk melihat kebijakan pendidikan islam di Indonesia pada masa reformasi, sebagai bahan kajian dan pelajaran bagi proses dan pengambilan kebijakan dewasa ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka, di mana sumber atau data-data yang dihadirkan pada penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai literature yang dianalisis secara komprehensif, sistematis dan filosofis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa kebijakan pendidikan islam di era reformasi sudah sangat baik, bahkan bisa dibilang kebijakan yang dikeluarkan sudah sangat berpihak pada pengembangan pendidikan islam baik secara proses maupun secara lembaga.

Abstract

Currently, the world of higher education no longer only relies on the teaching aspect alone, but should also emphasize the research and publication aspects. Therefore, UIN Sunan Kalijaga continues to transform from a teaching university to a research university in order to achieve the vision of a world class university in Islamic Studies as a specialty of Islamic university. This vision stimulated the academic community at UIN Sunan Kalijaga to establish research centers as a catalyst for channeling research interest. This is a real step in accelerating research development and novelty which is expected to offer applicable solutions to problems in the disruptive era. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and interactive data analysis model by Miles and Huberman. The results showed that: First, in terms of existence, there are three categories of research centers at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, namely active study centers, inactive study centers, and new study centers. Second, there are several factors that influence the existence of these various research centers such as the presence of experienced senior research figures, a consistent cadre of young researchers, success in entering research grant competitions, and the intensity of publications published.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving the quality of education can be realized properly when the process runs continuously and continuously. The process of improving the quality of education gradually becomes a necessity following an improvement in quality that is better than before. This research is categorized as an evaluation research using mixed methods. This research uses a case study approach and the location of this research is the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar which is located at Jalan Sultan Alauddin No. 259 Makassar City. based on the objective standards of curriculum implementation determined from 8 sub-aspects showed that it was categorized as high or all evaluated had been achieved with an average value of 3.72 or high category. The results of the achievement of the quality of graduates at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar at the results stage (output and outcomes) show that: a) most students can complete their studies on time, namely 4 years with a presentation of 65.58% with a satisfactory category, b) the GPA ranking of graduates shows that more who get a GPA > 3.50-4.00 with a percentage of 60.34% compared to a GPA below 3.50 with a percentage of 34.82%, c) the average waiting period for alumni to get a job is under 6 months with a percentage the achievement of 68.10%, d) the relevance of education and work of alumni shows that more work relevant to their education with an achievement of 76.14% than those who are not relevant to their education. Abstract

Kehadiran teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menyebabkan terjadinya tuntutan dari masyarakat untuk mendapatkan pelayanan yang lebih cepat, transparan, tidak dibatasi waktu dan tempat khusus dalam bidang pendidikan. Sistem informasi manajemen dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam pendidikan Islam adalah suatu kebutuhan. Hal ini didasari atas fakta bahwa masyarakat sekarang ini membutuhkan dan menuntut pelayanan pendidikan berkualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Penulis mengkali permasalahan yang ada dengan cara menelaah beberapa buku dan artikel jurnal terkait untuk dibandingkan dan ditarik kesimpulan. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah tersedianya instrumen dan infrastruktur tehnologi yang memungkinkan pendidikan diselenggarakan dengan baik dan bermutu dalam bentuk sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan Islam. Pemerataan pendidikan hal yang sangat penting dalam penyelenggaran pendidikan di Negara ini. Penentuan satuan pendidikan yang menjadi sasaran program perluasan dan pemerataan akses pendidikan agama yang mempertimbangkan secara proporsional antara satuan pendidikan umum dan satuan pendidikan agama. Namun tingkat ketersentuhan itu tampak belum menyeluruh

Abstract

The rapid development of the times requires that every educational institution, including pesantren, is required to be able to compete and be competitive in addition to religious development but also the technology sector. This paper aims to analyze the pattern of education applied by Islamic boarding schools in IT Yogyakarta. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the selection of informants used purposive sampling technique with the stages of data analysis including data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are three patterns of education applied by Islamic boarding schools at Pondok IT Yogyakarta, namely: 1) integration of digital skills and religious understanding; 2) Foster Brothers of Pondok IT Yogyakarta Islamic Boarding School in the development of Islamic boarding schools; and 3) Oriented to poor students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apa strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural, sehingga nilai positif yang ada proses pendidikan multikultural tidak hanya dirasakan dan dipahami secara teoritis saja namun lebih dari itu bisa teraktualisasikan dan bisa dirasakan manfaatnya secara nyata realitas sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka di mana data yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai literatur terkait, kemudian dianalisis dan diklasifikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan peneliti yang kemudian diolah menggunakan pendekatan secara teoritis dan filosofis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ada dua strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural, yaitu: pertama menanamkan nilai-nilai multikultural dalam setiap proses pembelajaran. Kedua, menanamkan nilai-nilai multikultural disetiap kegiatan ekstra sekolah.

Abstract

This case study aims as a basis or reference for solving students' cognitive-behavioral problems, can have more data to be carried out in the next stage of management, analyze students' cognitive-behavioral problems and align each related element. The case study method used is a qualitative method, with a phenomenon and psychology approach because it involves the cognitive behavior of students in learning management. The method of data collection was done by interview and observation. This case study was carried out by taking 2 students as samples, as well as several teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto. In the data analysis technique, the writer divides the problem identification, analysis, synthesis, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and follow -up continued. The results of the case study, from the identification of problems these students experienced cognitive-behavioral problems in the form of learning difficulties in learning management. Analysis, students' cognitive problems, namely the difficulty of understanding mathematics, science, and English, lack of willingness to learn, language difficulties, having a shy character, sibling conflict, and verbal bullying experienced students. In synthesis, students lack the motivation to learn, feel lazy to learn, and have a sense of hatred towards a particular subject and conflict. Diagnosis, Internal factors within students and external to their environment. Prognosis, if the problem is not immediately addressed, then what can happen is that no knowledge is transferred and learning achievement will decrease. Treatment, homeroom teachers, and teachers must always cooperate, provide advice to students, and teach slowly until they find comfort in learning. As a follow-up, students can be included in competitions, for example in Sports and the Arts, which are their favorite subjects. Inform parents about problems and treatments that must be carried out as well as those carried out at school.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to describe the management of the Arabic matriculation program at Darul Hikmah Boarding School in Bima. In learning Arabic Darul Hikmah Boarding School implements a language matriculation program where this program must be followed by students and is expected to provide benefits in the field of language and convenience for students. In this paper the research used is qualitative research where data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Then in analyzing data consists of data collection as well as data reduction and conclusion drawing.The results of the study concluded that the series of arabic matriculation program management activities carried out at Darul Hikmah Boarding School included: planning an Arabic matriculation program through the establishment of learning programs, material preparation, media use and determination of learning method approaches. (2) Organizing Arabic matriculation has prepared qualified tutors with S2 and S1 Arabic qualifications as measured by teaching tests. (3) implementation of matriculation program applying time token arends learning model by using al-Arabiyatu Baina Yadai Auladina teaching book. (4) evaluation of Arabic matriculation program is to determine assessment standards, hold written and oral examinations, make improvements and follow-up. Thus the matriculation program using the learning time token arends model is a good program in managing the Arabic matriculation program at Darul Hikmah boarding school in Bima
