Abstract

This study aimed at revealing the needs of Egyptian people after the 2011 revolution and how they could meet their needs amidst increasingly difficult economic conditions. This was literary study by analyzing Arabic literary works. It used Abraham Harold Maslow's humanistic psychology theory which holds that human needs are described in a hierarchy. To meet the needs at the top level, the needs at the previous level must first be satisfied. In the context of Egyptian society, they have freedom of expression as the highest hierarchical need of self-actualization. This becomes very interesting when told in the material object of research: people have freedom of expression but they still feel hungry and insecure, the most basic need for humans. The results showed that after the fall of Husni Mubarak, Egypt underwent a change in the political field that the Egyptian people get freedom of expression as citizens. Unfortunately, the progress of democracy was not followed by the progress of other fields such as social and economic fields. After leadership change in 2011, life was increasingly difficult with rising prices for basic necessities and Egyptian society was increasingly difficult to find work. This made them far from a decent life such as owning a house, vehicle or marriage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process by using the book entitled uqudul Juman fi Al-ilmi almaani wal  Bayan and to know the learning problems by using the book in Qudsiyyah Islamic High School, along with solutions. This is a qualitative study by using observation, interviews, questionnaires methods, and documentation as the technique of collecting data. The results of this study show that the process of learning by using the book Syarh uqudul Juman Fi ilmu almaani wal bayan in Qudsiyyah Islamic High School Kudus is using the deductive method, while learning problems include the problems caused by internal factors which consist of learning materials, teacher, student, methods and time allocation. While the problems caused by external factors consist of the role of stakeholders, funding sources of school development and government policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing Nahwu learning with al Imrithi Books in schools that are integrated with Islamic boarding schools and find out about learning problems and analysis of solutions. This research was conducted in Qosim al Hadi high school Semarang. This type of research is field qualitative research by using: Observation, Interview, Documentation and Questionnaire as the technique of collecting data. The results of this study indicate that the learning method used in Nahwu's learning with al Imrithi Books is a Deductive method that is well known among boarding schools as a Bandongan method. This method is used to convey learning material, while the Sorogan method is a form of reinforcement of the material that has been studied. The learning problems in Nahwu's learning with the book al Imrithi from several aspects: Students, Teachers, Learning Materials, Learning Time and Institutional Foundations.

Abstract

This article discusses about the difference between traditional and modern nahwu schools in studying of the Jumla (sentence). Jumla is a compound words because it is a combination of two or more words. Traditional nahwu schools agree that the jumla is any structure that fully benefits. The modern nahwu schools hold that the jumla  is all statements consisting of two principal things, the first is the earlier one and the second is the last part which has the function of statement or question and the other. The traditional nahwu schools divide the jumla  into two parts, the first is the ismiya and the second is fi'liya. The jumla ismiya consists of mubtada and khobar while the jumla fi'liya is composed of fi'il and fa'il. The division of jumla according to modern nahwu schools is the jumla basitho and the jumla murokkaba. The  jumla basitho consists of one composition only, while the jumla murokkaba consists of musnad and musnad ilaih. The  jumla ismiya can be defined as a musnad in which the form of words, phrases or compositions. Whereas if the musnad is a fi'il structure then it is called the composition of fi'liyah, either consisting of words, phrases or compositions.

Abstract

Al-Azhar is one of the famous foreign language courses in Pare Kediri. This research is conducted because Al-Azhar Course Institute has interesting programs, and some teaching staff are native Arabs (Yemen), and use fun methods that make it easier for students to understand and Arabic quickly. This study aims to describe the planning and design of learning in Al-Azhar course institutions. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data is obtained from informants who are instructors at the Al-Azhar Course Institute. Data analysis in this study consists of 3 stages, namely: Data Condensation, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing / Verification. The results obtained in this study are: First, the planning carried out by the Al-Azhar course institution is a type of project planning, and top-down planning. Second, the design of learning that is carried out is initiated by placement test, then determines the material that is in accordance with students' abilities, and finally evaluates.

Abstract

This study discusses analytically the phenomenon of repetition (al-takrâr) contained in the Qur'an. It aims to conceptually describe the phenomenon of repetition in the Qur'an, including: the definitions, types, and functions. The results of this study reveal the disagreements among scholars and academics related to this phenomenon. Some argue that the phenomenon of repetition in the Qur'an is one side of deficiency, or even disgrace that can damage the beauty and majesty of the Qur'an. Yet others argue that it is one common language style used in Arabic literature, which has specific aims and functions. In fact, the repetition gives a deep impact and impression to its readers.

Abstract

Language plays an important role in human life. language and humans can not be separated. Humans in all their activities need language to communicate with other humans. Communication has various kinds, one of which is oral communication that can cause interference. This research is descriptive in qualitative form. In this study the author uses listening method, the basic technique is "Tapping Technique". The advanced technique I  is checking out the free involvement technique or "SBLC". Advanced technique II is a note-taking technique. Another technique is interview. The emphasis of the analysis in this study is the grammatical interference of Bahasa Indonesia  in mahārah kalām, of female students (santriwati) of Kulliyatul Mu’allimat Al-Islamiyah (KMI) at Ar-Risalah International Program of modern boarding school Ponorogo. Based on the emphasis of the analysis above, the authors chose the intralingual equivalent method as an analysis method. The presentation method of the data results analysis used in this study is an informal method. The results show that the form of Interference that occurs in the study location is in the form of morphological and syntactic interference. As for the factor underlying the interference in mahārah kalām of Santriwati at KMI Ar-Risalah boarding school is the difference in the system of first language or second language (interlingual transfer), analogy (excessive equation), thinness of user loyalty to recipient languages, the need for synonyms and transfer language because it brings habits in mother tongue.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the process of learning speaking skills in this program and its efforts in developing speaking skills. In this study, the authors used descriptive qualitative research methods, with historical, methodological, and opinion approaches. The results showed that speaking skills in the Ma’had Aliy As'adiyah Sengkang-South Sulawesi Program were related to the use of curriculum, learning methods, instructional media, and teaching materials. Meanwhile, the program's efforts in developing speaking skills consist of three parts, namely 1. efforts in practicing Arabic language directly, 2. Efforts to carry out various activities in the use of Arabic, 3. Efforts in the form of solution, namely efforts that will be carried out next by Ma’had Aliy As'adiyah Sengkang, South Sulawesi to improve the previous efforts that have not been effective and successful.

Abstract

AbstractInterjection is the words used to show expressions spontaneously. Each language has different forms of interjection. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the intermediate form in Arabic. The data used in this study is written data in the form of Arabic novels and drama script. The data is obtained by the attentive observation method. The basic technique used is tapping technique. The advanced technique is by using the note technique. The methods used for the data analysis are distribution and contextual method. The results of the analysis show that based on the form of Arabic interjections, it can be grouped into primary forms, secondary forms, phrase form, and clause form. AbstrakInterjeksi merupakan kata-kata yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan ekspresi secara spontan. Setiap bahasa memiliki bentuk interjeksi yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara menyeluruh mengenai bentuk interjeksi dalam bahasa Arab. Data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tertulis yang berupa novel dan naskah drama Arab. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan metode simak. Teknik dasar yang digunakan adalah teknik sadap. Adapun teknik lanjutannya menggunakan teknik catat. Metode yang dipergunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah metode distribusi dan metode kontekstual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan bentuknya interjeksi bahasa Arab dapat dikelompokkan menjadi bentuk primer, bentuk sekunder, bentuk frasa, dan bentuk klausa.

Abstract

This study aimed at developing a science-based Arabic language learning media based on Android mobile. The research method used was Research and Development. Validators included material and media experts, and practitioners. The testing phase included: limited phase I, II, and field trials. The subjects of the trial were students of the Department of Tadris IPA IAIN Salatiga. The data were obtained from documentation, questionnaire, and interviews. The results of the study were in the form of android-based software called “Bahasa Arab 1” with the validity score of 4.26 (very good); and practicality of 4.25 (very good). The results of the assessment through the limited phase I, II, and field trial stages are 4.30 (very good); 4,41 (very good); and 4.44 (very good). The characteristics and advantages of the product are:  ability to be downloaded through google play store; ability to run offline; available learning objectives, training materials and evaluation of competency tests interactively.
