The research was motivated by the students comprehension of math concept is still low. This research aims to determine students comprehension of math concept by using one to one technique was better than students comprehension of math concept that was taught by using conventional learning, and to know the progress of studentsâ activity at eighth grade students of SMP 4 N Sutera, district of Pesisir Selatan that apply one to one technique.Type of this research was experimental research by using randomized control group only design.. The instrument used in this research is the ultimate test of students comprehension of math concept. Form of test used was essay with reliability test was r11 = 0,877 was bigger than rt = 0.404. It means the test result was reliable. Technique of data analysis used was T-Test one part the help of softwareMinitab.Based on the data analysis, it was found that both classes were distributed normally and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis test obtained P-Value= 0.040 it less than α=0.05, and based on the percentage of students activity was increased that was taught by one to one technique, with a variety of activities considered in this technique was the students were more active, in which the hypothesis of this research was accepted, so that it can be concluded that students comprehension of math concept by using one to one technique was better than students comprehension of math concept that apply conventional learning with confidence level was 95%.

This research is motivated by the students comprehension of mathematical concepts of class VIII SMPN 1 Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya year of learning 2012/2013 are still low. This study aims to determine the students comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply Teknik Penghasil Pertanyaan with using comics media better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply learning conventional in class VIII SMPN 1 Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya year of learning 2012/2013. Type of research is experiment with randomized control group only design. The population in research is class VIII students that registrated on 2012/2013 year learning. Sampling technique is random. The instrument that used in this research is comprehension of mathematical concepts test in essay. Hypothesis testing using the U Mann Whitney test with MINITAB helping. The result of hypothesis test significant in 0,0003 it means less than  = 0,05. So that can be conclude that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply Teknik Penghasil Pertanyaan with using comics media better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 1 Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya year of learning 2012/2013.

Background of the research is the result of matematis concept low student understanding. Purpose of the research is the find result matematis concept of the student with used model cooperative learning type Think Pair Share more than effective from the result conventional learning. Type of the research is experimental research. Population of the research all of the students grade VII SMPN 29 Padang in year 2012/2013. The process of selecting sampling by cluster random sampling. Of the research is essay. Instrument doing analysis of data used t-test. However the result of  the model cooperative learning type Think Pair Share  suitable more than conventional learning for student grade VII SMPN 29 Padang.

This research is motivated by the studentsâ poor understanding of mathematical concepts, so that they frequently did not complete the tasks submitted by the teacher. The research aims to determine whether implementing cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) is better than the conventional learning to improve studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts for VIII-grade students of MTsN Limbanang, 50 Kota. This research is experimental, using random sampling of population. The population studied is five classes of VIII-grade students of MTsN Limbanang, 50 Kota. Samples taken ramdomly from the selected classes: VIII.1 class as the experimental class and VIII.2 class as the control class. The instrument used in this study is a test of studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts. The test form is essay with reliability r11=0.869. From the data analysis obtained the mean of the experimental class is 76.6 and 61.9 for the control class. The one side test of hypothesis (t-test) using MINITAB shows Pvalue 0.002 which less than α 0.05; so that the hypothesis proposed on the trust level 95% is accepted. It can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by implementing cooperative learning Team Games Tournament ( TGT ) is better than conventional learning.

The research is motivated by a discussion that was dominated by a group of highly capable students and students lack of understanding of mathematical concepts. This can be seen in the results of learning mathematics class VIII student SMP 1 Sitiung Dharmasraya school year 2012/2013. This study aims to determine whether students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying Kancing Gemerincing techniques with using handouts better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning. This type of research is experimental, with the design of randomized on the subject. The results of the data analysis is known that the two samples are normally distributed and homogeneous on the real level of 0.05. Hypothesis test results obtained P-value is 0.000. The result is less than α of 0.05, then the hypothesis in this research received. It can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying techniques Kancing Gemerincing with using handouts better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning in class VIII student SMP 1 Sitiung Dharmasraya.

The research is done of the problem of studentâs achievement of mathematic concept were low. The purpose of this research to know how far using Cooperative Learning Method Type Think Pair Share (TPS) through Speed Test better than studentâs achievement of mathematic concept with conventional teaching. This research will be conducted in Experimental research, with The Random Trial to Subject. Population of this research was students at seventh Grade of SMPN 1 Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban in 2012/2013 year. The technique of data collection is random, that the research choose VII 4 as experimental class and VII 3 as control class. The instrument was use in this research is post test of comprehension of mathematic concept. The treatment essay with reliability test . The technique analysis data that is use by helping MINITAB software. Based on the result of data analysis, the research know that two class sample was normal and homogen at . The hypothesis result get p-value same with  itâs mean that lower than  so the hypothesis of this research is received, it can be concluded that the effect of using Cooperative Learning Method Type Think Pair Share through Speed Test better than studentâs achievement of mathematic concept that is tough by using conventional teaching at seventh grade of SMPN 1 Kec. The comprehension in mathematics concept for students is still low becomes a basic of this research. The purpose of this research is to know what is the comprehension of mathematic concept for cooperatif learning type Pair Check better than for implementation of convensional learningâs students for grade VIII SMPN 23 Padang in 2012/2013. The type of this research is experimental research by using random planning focused on subject. The populations are students in grade VIII SMPN 23 Padang in 2012/2013, which consist of five classes. Moreover, sample of this research is taken by random, VIII1 is for experimental class and VIII2 is for control class. The instrument of this research is the comprehension of mathematics concept test. The techniques of data analysis is using t test for one group by software MINITAB is got P-value = 0,013 smaller than  = 0.05, so this hyphothesis is accepted. In conclusion, the comprehension of mathematics concept for implemented convensional learningâs students

This research was stimulated by the background of lower comprehension of studentâs to mathematic subject that can be seen in semester II at the class X SMAN 1 Bayang Utara. This research aim to know whatever the mathematic concept of studentsâ comprehension through the implementation of cooperative teaching model of Pair Check was better than conventional teaching model. The type of this research was experimental research. Population of this research was the student at the class XI IPS SMAN 1 Bayang Utara period 2013/2014 consisted two classes. Technique of taking sample was done randomly by selecting the classes was XI IPS.1 as experimental class and class was XI IPS.2 as control class. This research used instrument of final test about the studentâs understanding of mathematic concept. The form of test used essay by reliability test score  = 0,90. Technique of data analysis used t-test. Based on the data analysis showed that both class samples have homogeny and normal distribution. The result of hypothesis P-value = 0,033 <  = 0,05. Thus the hypothesis in this research was accepted. Therefore can be concluded that the studentsâ comprehention about mathematic concept by using cooperative teaching model type of Pair Check was better than studentsâ comprehention of math concept by using conventional teaching model toward student at the class XI IPS SMAN 1 Bayang Utara period 2013/2014 with the confidence level 95%.

This research is based on the students comprehension of mathematical concepts are still low. This study aims to determine: 1) how the development indicators of students comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies The Power Of Two types accompanied quiz; 2) whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies The Power Of Two types of quizzes with better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in class VIII SMP 27 Padang. Type of research is experimental research with the design random on the subject. Population in this research is student class VIII SMPN 27 Padang. Sample is done randomly. The instrument of this research is quizzes and final test. Quizzes Analysis technique used techniques percentage and final test data analysis techniques using the t test. Results were obtained: 1) indicators of achievement of students comprehension of mathematical concepts are not stable or up and down, 2) hypothesis testing results obtained tvalue=2,37Â is greater than ttable=1,645. It can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies The Power Of Two types of quizzes with better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning at the level of 95% in SMP 27 Padang.

This research is from the background of the student in SMPN 5 MuaraBungo not have enough concept comprehension. That is couse the lesson still concentrate on the teacher and many of student only imitate their classmates exercise, this research have a parpose to see that is mathematics concept comprehension of the student with the active lesson application True Or False Statement type is more good than mathematics concept comprehension of the student with convensional lesson. Kind of research is experiment research with research design is random about subjek. Population in this research is the VIII grade. Sample removal technic is random, the VIII.2 grade is choose as experiment class and VIII.4 is choose as control class. Instrument that use is the last mathematics concept comprehension test. Type of the test is essay with test realibityis r11 = 0,97. Analysis technic is t test with MINITAB. Be based on data analysis, we know that two sample class have a normal distribution an have a homogeneity with 95% trust level. The result of hypothesis test we have P-value= 0,004is that mean more low than α = 0,05, so the hypothesis of this research is receive than it can be interpret that mathematics concept comprehension of the student with the active lesson application True Or False Statement type is more good than mathematics concept comprehension of the student with convensional lesson in VIII grade SMPN 5 MuaraBungo lesson year 2013/2014.
