Abstract

This research discusses the development strategy undertaken by the manager of R.A Kartini Museum especially related to the implementation of an event held in R.A Kartini Museum, Rembang Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive research supported by the use of quantitative data such as the number of tourist visits. The results of research advised that the R.A Kartini Museum manager must consider the expectations and necessary of the visitors with the main purpose of the museum. The educational missions need more attention by the manager of R.A Kartini Museum one of them with the implementation of the event. Abstract

This research aims to give knowledge about Jatiningsih Sendang Maria Cave as a potential spiritual tourism object, a place of pilgrimage and increasing knowledge of the Christian community about Jatiningsih Sendang Maria Cave. The type of this research is a qualitative research. An observation and interview method is needed to get the data of the research. This research focuses on the potential of Jatiningsih Sendang Maria Cave as a spritual tourism object. The results of this research indicate that the potential of Jatiningsih Sendang Maria Cave as a spiritual tourism object in Yogyakarta, it can be reached by riding various types of vehicles such as motorcycles, cars, tourist buses. Jatiningsih Sendang Maria Cave is located approximately 20 km to the west of monument Jogja.

Abstract

In the world of tourism, building a quality information is one thing to note because it involves decision-making for the visitors or tourists. The quality of this information will be processed with a quality information system and then create results / output that is useful for people who need information to travel them. Today's eco-tourism has become a more dominant choice for tourists who want to visit Indonesia especially to eastern Indonesia one of them is West Mangggarai Regency. Information about the ecotourism area of Mbeliling Forest, West Manggarai regency has become the attention of the visitors because inside the mbeliling forest there are some very promising tourism potentials, it could be for the years to come, this area will often be visited by many tourists. The purpose of the study to determine whether there is a significant influence the quality of information (independent variable) to the loyalty of tourists (dependent variable). Using quantitative method, the questionnaire will be done some analysis such as data quality test (validity and reliability), simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that as much as 15.3% variable quality of information affect the loyalty of tourists among some other things that affect (84.7%). It is also explained that there is a positive effect of information quality on tourist loyalty of 0,322. Keywords: Information Quality, Ecotourism, Tourist Loyalty

Abstract

Natural tourism destinations Watu Amben is tourist destinations which presents a panorama of the natural landscape which is located in the village of Pandeyan, district Piyungan, Bantul. One of the efforts made by the Manager of Watu Amben to introduce these tourist destinations to the public is using social media Instagram. Based on the foregoing, the researchers conducted a study with the title "Tourist Perception of Social Media Account Instagram@watuamben". Research methods used in this research is qualitative research. This research was conducted in nature tourism Watu Amben, with data collection techniques observation, interview, questionnaire and the documentation. The interviews addressed to account manager Instagram @watuamben and also tourists coming to Watu Amben, while questionnaires addressed to tourists visiting the Watu Amben. The purpose of this research is to know the visitor's perception of social media account Instagram @watuamben. The result of this research is that the pictures or videos that uploaded in Instagram by @watuamben could change the tourist perspective about tour destination waktu ambrn when they see the pictures and the videos. Also, the researchers hope that the administrators of Instagram account @watuamben could use the media social to introduce the tour destination watu amben to public effectively. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know wtether knowledge, skill, responsiveness and communication skill influence in job competition for graduate student from Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA. The population in this study are student pf Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata SMPTA that graduated in 2013 until 2016, the total population in this studt is 702 and 200 respondents who have worked taken as samples, samples were taken with non probability sampling technique and accidental sampling approach. Sampling approach using regression equations obtained results that through test results F (regression analysis jointly) may note that the value of F = 147.104 count with the significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The test results of the test F reinforced with testing the determination of the coefficient that shows the value of 74.6%) (0.746. From Test t (partially) can result in variable knowledge with a value of t = 3,173 and significance of the value 0002 < 0.05, variable skill with a value of t = 2,949 and value the significance of 0.004 < 0.05, variable attitude with a value of t = 2,688 and value the significance of 0.008 < 0.05, variable communication skill with a value of t = value and significance of 4,497 0000 < 0.05. From the above results can be known that the hypothesis posed was not proven in other words that all of these variables can be said to have a positive and significant effect simultaneously as well as partial toward the ability of STP graduates AMPTA in the face of competition in the world of work. Yogyakarta which has a unique culture and nature and also relics of historical and religious relics can be a point of interest for domestic and foreign tourists. With diversity is quite a lot of power. This research is why Alternative Tour Packages will be an attraction if in a pack in such a way that becomes a diverse and interesting tour packages. With qualitative descriptive research methods found in addition to the main destinations Parangtritis Beach which was first famous. With the packaging method of alternative tour packages and promotions will make the new destinations become the main and complementary destination support power for a visit in Yogyakarta. Can be condluded that Parangtritis which became the main destination for tourists domestic is a region that has the potential to be developed, this area there is destination 1.Nature 2.Religi 3.History 4.Culture but not packaged into a package of alternative tourism. Packaging Alternative Tour Packages in addition to increasing the number of tourists visits also the level of customer satisfaction is increasing because it does not accumulate on one Destination that is Parangtris Beach can be distributed to this destination equally. Abstract

Bandung has been famous as a tourist destination or for leisure for a long time since the Dutch colonialism. Most of activities are mass tourism, such as culinary, shopping and nature tourism. Aside from those tourist activities, there is other kind of tourism that actually has been done by tourists and still need to be developed. It’s dark tourism. This research aimed to identify the potential of dark tourism and its activity. In this tourism, the object is a place with past dark horrible history for violence experienced by people in the past colonialism. The spectrum of darkest and lightest was demonstrated to show similarity and difference from previous researches as well as the level of eeriness in dark tourism. This research was conducted in Bandung using qualitative method. Data was obtained by directly visiting the tourist object, interviewed people related to the tourism activity and literature study. The instruments used in collecting data were a camera and a recorder. After processing data, it was then triangulated to make sure that all the result of the data was correct. From the research it was found that there were one tourist object and one tour included in dark tourism. They were Goa Pakar, consist of Goa Belanda and Goa Jepang, and a ghost tour which was known as Wisata Mistis. Goa Belanda and Goa Jepang are located in Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Djuanda or known as Goa Pakar or Dago Pakar. These caves have dark history about the cruelty from struggling against Dutch and Japanese colonialism. While ghost tour is a trip related to visiting spooky places at night. It is expected in the future that the dark tourism object will obtain serious attention and improvement from the local government so that educate tourists about sacrifice of the people who fought for nation independence. Abstract

This research designed to know the influence of quality perception, value perception, tourist satisfaction, and revisiting to Word of Mouth (WoM) recommendation. Methods that are used in this research are : quesioner to collet the data, parth whole used to test the validity and cronbach alpha to test the reliability. Testing the normality, Linierity, multikolinierity, autocorrelation and hitteroskedastisity is to detect the compatible of using model of the path regression as the test of hypothesis. The result of this research indicates that: (1) quality perception, value perception, tourist satisfaction, and revisiting significantly have positive effect positive to WoM recommendation, (2) quality perception has the positive influence to value perception, (3) quality perception has the positive influence which is very significant to tourist satisfaction, (4) quality perception has the positive influence which is significantly the revisiting, (5) quality preception has the positive influence which is significant to WoM recommendation, (6) perception assess has positive influence to tourist satisfaction, (7) perception assess is to own the positive influence which is significant to revisiting, (8) perception assess has the positve influence which is very to WoM recommendation, (9) tourist satisfavtion has a positive effect significantly to the revisiting, (10) tourist satisfaction has a positive effect to WoM recommendation, (11) resiviting has the positive influence which is very significant to WoM recommendation, and (12) revisiting has more dominant influence in creating WoM recommendation of Jogja tourism object to others people. Abstract

The research is a quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of the display and content on the effectiveness of promotions through the website on PT. Elegant Tour and Travel Medan.This research is conducted by observing PT. Elegant Tour and Travel Medan's website directly. Data collection methods are conducted by spreading online questioners to 96 respondents. The sample selection technique using random sampling. Data from 96 respondents were then analyzed through multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 20.The result showed adjusted r square value of 0,440 means that 44% of the effectiveness of promotion through the website is influenced by display and content while about 56% is influenced by another factors out of research. The result of testing regression coefficient simultaneously obtained f count of 38,324 > f table which is 3,09 with significance value 0,000 < 0,05. Partial result of hypothesis testing obtained t count of display > t table content (2,275>1,98552) and t count content > t table (8,077>1,98552). From this test it can be conclude that display and content have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of promotion through the website on PT. Elegant Tour and Travel Medan. Abstract

The rapid development of tourism in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta becomes a trigger for Indonesian people to choose Yogyakarta as a destination worth visiting with a variety of potential tourism.Bantul Regency is one of the areas in the Special Region of Yogyakarta which borders directly with the Indian Ocean so that many have coastal tourist-oriented tourist destinations. Of the many beaches in the district of Bantul, each has its own beauty and characteristic respectively. Potential Attractiveness Coastal tourism in the district of Bantul in the book Tourism Statistics DIY 2016 include Parangtritis Beach, Samas Beach, Pandansimo Beach, Cave Beach Cave and Kuwaru Beach. The approach developed by the government through the Ministry of Tourism to improve the competitiveness of coastal tourism (marine) is to integrate the first dimension of infrastructure, accessibility, connectivity, activity, facilities, hospitality and market preferences. And the second is to increase synergy between local governments, business actors, and local communities (DITJEN Kerjasama ASEAN, 2015:19). However, not all the development of tourist areas can be applied in the coastal areas of Bantul regency that has a high sea wave and the proximity of the sea trough with coastal areas so it is very risky to the safety of tourists. Various complaints submitted by visitors, among others; there are still services that are not standard (expensive), there is a slum beach section, sometimes neglected discipline, clutter of land governance, multiple levies, and beach raids by various business activities make the potential of visits to coastal tourism in Yogyakarta reduced (Prasetya et al , 2015: 135). The purpose of this research is to know the most visited tourism potential and alternative tourism development strategy based on SWOT analysis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that Parangtritis Beach became the most favorite beach with the number of visitors which increased from year to year. One of the SWOT analysis of tourism development strategy in Bantul regency tourism object is by creating a special place, which is built in such a way with the background of natural panorama of the beach, to exploit the passion of swafoto visitors (selfie) as part of modern marketing through social media tourists.
