Abstract

The research was conducted at the Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru, located at Jalan SoekarnoHatta kav.148 Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Service Quality And Pricing On Costumer Satisfaction (a case study at Hotel Grand Suka Pekanbaru) partially and simultaneously. In this research, the method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with the SPPS program. The population in this study were all consumers who purchased rooms at the Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru in the last year, namely 2019, as many as 100 people. The sample in this research is all consumers of Hotel Grand Suka Pekanbaru as many as 100 respondents. To determine the sample using the census method. The technique of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews, the types and sources of data using primary data and secondary data, the technique of collecting measurements using a liker scale.From the analysis of data which includes validity test, reliability, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test (partial test), and f test (simultaneous).  Keywords: Service Quality; Pricing; Customer satisfaction

Abstract

Local economic development depends on the government who can synergize with the various stakeholders involved for the realization of local economic development. There are quite a lot of stakeholders involved in the development of the local economy in the agricultural sector of agribusiness on the superior commodity of Siam Gunuang Omeh oranges but there are also many interests, interests and objectives of the involvement of each stakeholder in the utilization of the superior commodity of Gunuang Omeh oranges. This study aims to determine the synergy of stakeholders involved in local economic development through the agribusiness sector on the superior commodity of Siam Gunuang Omeh and to determine the inhibiting factors. This study used a qualitative method located in Gunuang Omeh District. The method used in determining the informants was the purposive sampling method, the research informants were the Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Office of Fifty Cities Regency, the Center for Agricultural Extension, Gunuang Omeh District, the Multi-Business Cooperative-Financial Institution for the Micro-Agribusiness of Siam Citrus Gunuang Omeh, Cv. T Jaya, traders / collectors and the community who live in the siam gunuang omeh environment by conducting interviews, observation and documentation so that the required data is obtained such as primary data and secondary data then which shows the results of the implementation of synergy between stakeholders and its inhibitors. The results of this study are the synergy of stakeholders in the development of the local economy in the agribusiness agricultural sector on the superior commodity of siam gunang omeh oranges that have been running but have not been maximized, this is due to several factors such as cooperation and weak coordination. Keywords: Stakeholder Synergy, Local Economic Development, Gunuang Omeh Siam Citrus

Abstract

The phenomenon of exploitation of child labour is a global  problem that still exists today. In Malawi, many children are involved  as child labourers. The majority of these child labourers work in the agricultural sector, especially in the tobacco sector.  The problem is because of the type of work that the children do, where the tobacco sector is ad dangerous environment for children. One of the factors that causes  the phenomenon of child labour is poverty.This study was written using the theory of international organizations, where the actor involved in this research problem is the International Labour Organization (ILO). This research was also investigated with qualitative research methods. The sources and data used by the author in this study are based on books, journals and other online literature such as reports, newspapers and articles on the ILO's official website.The problem of child labour certainly requires attention from the Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, and even International Organizations, if it is felt that the handling at the government level is not optimal. Therefore, the ILO, as an international labour organization, is here to address this issue. From the results of this study, several contributions that have been made by the ILO are by collaborating with the Japan Tobacco International (JTI) company, to create an educational program, namely ARISE. Another contribution is to hold a Training of Trainers program, which aims to educate the farmers about the management of savings and loan cooperatives there.Key Words: International Organizations, ILO, Child Labour, Tobacco

Abstract

General elections are the main means for people to demonstrate their political rights in electing representatives of the people who will take control of the wheels of the nation's and future journey. The 2019 Presidential Election in Pekanbaru City experienced an increase in voter turnout, reaching 78.90% when compared to previous elections and even exceeding the KPU's target of 77%. High voter participation is a marker of concern for democratic citizens, while low voter participation is an indicator of apathy and distrust of citizens towards the political process. This study aims to look at the factors that influence the political participation of voters. The theory used in this research is Milbrath's theory regarding the factors that influence participation. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research type. The type of data used in this research is primary data, namely interviews and secondary data obtained from literature study, documentation and observation. The results of this study found that the increasing political participation of Pekanbaru City voters in the 2019 Presidential Election was influenced by five factors, namely, political stimulation factors carried out by the Pekanbaru City KPU and election organizers, political parties as well as candidates and candidates and their success teams, personal characteristics factors. Pekanbaru City voters who are already rational, the social characteristics of voters, where education in Pekanbaru City is high and is a city center that tends to have a broad educated and insightful community, the situation and political environment during the 2019 Presidential Election, the situation is very interesting because of the rematch of two people who had running in the 2014 election, and the political education factor carried out by the election management institution and the political community. Abstract

This research was conducted in Simpang Baru Village, Tuah Karya, Tampan District, JL.HR. Soebrantas. This study aims to find out the impact of relocation for street food vendors and to find out the strategy of street food vendors in maintaining the economic condition of the family after the relocation. Researchers used non probality sampling techniques. This study used sampling quota technique then took only 30% of the population of 350 which is 105 samples of street vendors in JL. Narrated by. Soebrantas, what's going on? The author uses descriptive quantitative methods and data instruments are questionnaires and documentation. The study found that pearson product correlation coefficient at the time of relocation impact was .690**. This means that the coefficient or relationship between the Impact of Street Vendors Relocation is 0.690 or the resulting impact of relocation is high. if the probability > is 0.05 then Ho is accepted, while if the < is 0.05 then Ho is rejected. Based on the table data above, correlation coefficient of 0.690 can be seen in the range of 0.62 to 0.80 which is highly categorized. This means that relocation has an impact on the economy of street food vendors.Keywords :, Street vendors, Reloxy, Culinary

Abstract

The facilities of tourist attraction gives many visits opportunity because it is needed by visitors. A tourist attraction should pay attention, maintan an develop to the facilities of tourist attraction and it can be able to increase the number of tourism visitors. The aim of this research was to find out how tourist responses about the facilities of tourist attraction of The Great Mosque Madani Islamic Centre of Pasir Pengaraian Rokan Hulu. This research used quantitative descriptive method by analyzing the issues are raised. The sample of this research is 100 samples by using slovin formula. To collect the data, the researcher used questionaire, observation, documentation and interview. To measure the data, the researcher used likert scale tp know the long-short of interval. Based on the result of this research, the responses of visitors about the facilities of tourist attraction of the Great Mosque Madani Islamic Centre of Pasir Pengaraian Rokan Hulu by sub variables are main facilities, second facilities and supporting facilities. All of the whole responses of visitors about the facilities of tourist attraction of the Great Mosque Madani Islamic Centre of Pasir Pengaraian Rokan Hulu from each aspect is included very good category.    Keywords : The Facilities of  Tourist Attraction, Great Mosque

Abstract

One of the organizers of public order and public order is the Civil Service Police Unit, abbreviated as Satpol PP. The task of Satpol PP in PP RI No. 16/2018 Regarding Satpol PP Article 4 has the task of enforcing Regional Regulations and organizing public order and public order and protection of the community. In Siak Regency Regional Regulation No. 37/2002 on Public Order Article 16 prohibits street vendors from selling on roads, parks, green lanes and public places. However, the facts in the field are that there are still many people who place objects or goods on the edge or side of public roads, whether for trading purposes or not for trading purposes, there is no control from the authorities (Satpol PP). The formulation of this research is how the Satpol PP implement the Siak Regency Regional Regulation No. 37/2002 on Public Order (Study of the Use of Road Bodies in Sabak Auh District, Siak Regency, 2019)? The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the Satpol PP in implementing the Siak Regency regional regulation number 37/2002 concerning Public Order (Study on Utilization of Road Bodies in Sabak Auh District, Siak Regency, 2019). This research is a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, field observations and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the interactive model qualitative data analysis method. The findings that can be concluded are the implementation of the Siak Regency Regional Regulation Number 37 of 2002 concerning Public Order which is carried out by Satpol PP is considered to be less than optimal, this is based on the findings of research in the field, namely; 1) The community ignores these regional regulations even though Sapol PP has appealed to a ban on selling on the road, lacking Satpol PP personnel. 2) There are people who complain about the existence of street vendors who have the potential to cause congestion, there has been no change from the target recipient of the policy. 3) The types of social and environmental benefits, as well as the degree of change targeted by the regional regulation, have not been maximally felt by the community. 4) The strategy has no significant impact and the Satpol PP's lack of commitment in implementing the regional regulation. Keywords: Policy Implementation, Street Vendors, Satpol PP, Merille S. Abstract

This research was conduced at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru located at Jenderal Sudirman Street No. 51 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was determine the effect of service quality and pricing on consumer loyalty room service at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru partially and simultaneously. In this research the method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with SPSS Program. The sample of this study was taken as many as 100 respondents from the entire population and calculated using the Slovin formula, a non-probability sampling technique with an accidental sampling technique. Data Collection techniques through interviews and questionnaries, types and source of data using primary data and secondary data, measurement techniques using a Likert Scale.From the analysis of data which includes validity, reliability, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test (partial test), and F test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that the results of the first t test hypothesis testing, service quality on consumer loyalty is t arithmetic (12,442) > t table (1,6605) means that service quality has a significant effect on consumer loyalty . second, price pricing on consumer loyalty is t arithmetic (15,091) > t table (1,6605) means that pricing has a significant effect on concumer loyalty. F Test Results of service quality have a significant effect on consumer loyalty, namely F arithmetic (122.846) > F tables (3,09). This means that service quality and pricing simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer loyalty at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru.  Keywords : Service Quality, Pricing, Consumer Loyalty

Abstract

Tuna is one of the prospective fishery commodity for exports due to high demand in the international market. However, European Union as the main buyer demand its imports to comply with Council Regulation. This tariff and non-tariff barriers on Indonesia can cause a decline for the exports. To maintain its market Indonesia should find ways since Germany is the fourth largest tuna importer in the world. Efforts by Indonesian government to maintain tuna exports to Germany will be described in this study.This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The perspective used by the author in this thesis is the perspective of liberalism with the level of nation state analysis, and the theory used is the theory of international trade. To analyze this case, the authors collected data from books, journals, websites, dictionaries, as well as various information from the EUR-Lex, the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia and the Association of Pole and Line & Handline Indonesia (AP2HI) regarding Indonesia's efforts to increase fish exports tuna to Germany.The results of this study indicate that Indonesia seeks to increase tuna exports to Germany by lobbying with the European Union regarding reducing tuna export tariffs, improving quality and cleanliness in the management of Indonesian tuna, and eradicating illegal fishing. Indonesia is still working on increasing tuna exports to Germany. Although there has not been an increase in the export value, there has been an increase in the quality of tuna so that it can increase the confidence of the European Union, especially Germany, in Indonesian tuna.Keywords: Effort, Tariff Barriers, Non-Tariff Barriers, Tuna, Exports, International Trade

Abstract

The purpose of this reasearch is to determine the results of the IUSSD (Indonesian-United States Security Dialogue) 2014-2018 and their impact on improving the security capabilities of the Republic of Indonesia. IUSSD is a security dialogue between Indonesia and the United States that has been held since 2002 until now. The IUSSD dialogue is an effort between the two countries to exchange views and information on security issues and determine the next political policy steps. This dialogue is regularly held by the two countries once a year with alternating locations and times.This study uses a neorealism perspective. In neorealism perspective, the main actor in international relations is the state. For neorealism things that affect the behavior of the states  is international structure also anarchy structure. Neorealism called as realism structural. Neorealism recognizes the probability of cooperation between countries. neorealism also emphasizes the acquisition of relative gain in international cooperation. The results showed that the IUSSD is regularly held every year with the main agenda maritime cooperation, countering terrorism, education and training for the TNI, grants for military assistance and the modernization of defense equipment. The IUSSD dialogue has an impact on increasing the security and defense capabilities of the Republic of Indonesia. In the security sector, the IUSSD results have an impact on the increase in counterterrorism, maritime security, and operations to maintain world peace. In the defense sector, the results of IUSSD have an impact on the increase in defense equipment, TNI professionalism (IMET), external military financing (FMF), and the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
