Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which job stress and work environment affect employee productivity at PT Permodalan Ekonomi Rakyat (PER) Pekanbaru. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method using a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents and analyzed using SPSS version 23. The results indicate that job stress has a significant yet weak influence on productivity (β = 0.032; p < 0.05). In contrast, the work environment has a highly significant and dominant effect (β = 0.844). Simultaneously, both independent variables contribute 77.9% to work productivity. The study concludes that managing job stress and improving the work environment are crucial factors in enhancing employee productivity. Keywords: Job Stress, Work Environment, Productivity, PT PER.

Abstract

Indonesian Diaspora Network (IDN) is a non-governmental organization engaged in the development of the diaspora around the world, including Malaysia. IDN is a non-governmental organization that helps disseminate through various activities, working with the Indonesian diaspora in Malaysia, the Indonesian Embassy and the Guidance Studio at the Indonesian School, Kuala Lumpur in making activities and festivals. The purpose of this paper is to describe the activities of IDN in spreading Indonesian culture in Malaysia.This research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research method and this phenomenological study describes the general understanding of a number of individuals on their various life experiences related to the concept/phenomenon. Abstract

Food price stability is a crucial aspect in maintaining food security and public welfare, especially in Pekanbaru City which has a high dependence on food supplies from outside the region. This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the Riau Province Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Service in maintaining food price stability and identifying factors that influence the effectiveness of these strategies. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative research type. The location of the study was carried out at the Riau Province Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Service. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis refers to Fred R. David's strategic management theory, which consists of three main stages, namely strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. The results of the study indicate that the Riau Province Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Service has implemented various strategies, such as implementing low-cost market operations, market and distributor inspections, and coordinating with distributors and traders, monitoring food prices periodically and collaboratively. However, the implementation of this strategy still faces obstacles, including the lack of an accurate food distribution recording system, disruptions to distribution channels due to external factors such as natural disasters, and limited local food production that causes dependence on supplies from other regions. The conclusion of this study confirms that the effectiveness of the SMEs Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Disperindagkop) strategy in maintaining food price stability still needs to be improved. With a more integrated strategy based on accurate data, it is hoped that food price stability in Pekanbaru City can be better maintained, so that community welfare can increase. Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia has extraordinary diversity and potential and is one of the main sources of economic development in various countries. One of the destination that has potential to be developed is the twin lakes tourist destination located in Alahan Panjang, Solok Regency, West Sumatera. The profile and Preferences of tourist at this destination will be the main focus of ths study. This study aims to find out about the profile and preferences of tourist visiting the Twin Lakes tourist Destination in Solok Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and data is obtained through a survey of guest visiting this tourist destination using a questionnaire based on several point related to the profile and preference such as age, occupation, area of origin education, anda reasons that make the Twin lake tourist destination a choice for the tourist to visit. The result of the study show that knowing the profile and preferences of tourist can be used as one way to help manager develop tourist destination so that they can be in accordance with that tourist expect in the future. Abstract

This study aims to assess the service quality provided by CV. Bilava Tour to its guests and the impact of slow responses on service quality. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with techniques for data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that: first, the service quality of CV. Bilava Tour has not been fully optimized in its implementation because certain indicators do not align with high-quality service, particularly the Responsiveness dimension. On the other hand, the Tangibles, Reliability, Empathy, and Assurance indicators have been well executed in providing services to guests in accordance with the company's vision, mission, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Second, the impact of slow responses on service quality at CV. Bilava Tour includes decreased customer satisfaction, reduced customer loyalty, and potential loss of sales opportunities. Abstract

The implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 19 of 2016 concerning the regional government asset needs plan at the Riau Provincial Secretariat has been carried out, but obstacles were encountered during the preparation process. This was due to several factors affecting its implementation, hindering the procurement and maintenance of regional assets. This disruption impacted the performance of Secretariat employees, as these assets are crucial for their work. This research aims to describe the implementation and the factors influencing the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 19 of 2016 concerning the regional government asset needs plan at the Riau Provincial Secretariat. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive research design to provide a detailed account of the research object and analyze the observed phenomena through interviews, observations, and document review. Primary and secondary data were collected from informants and documents. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and verification (conclusion drawing). Several obstacles were identified in the preparation process of the regional government asset needs plan, including the failure to analyze the sudden damage of new assets, unexpected revisions from bureaus within the Secretariat, sudden and urgent requests from superiors without prior analysis, and the time-consuming process of obtaining data from the Planning Division and the Technical Activity Implementing Officer. This research concludes that the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 19 of 2016 concerning the Regional Government Asset Needs Plan at the Riau Provincial Secretariat in 2023 was successfully implemented, and solutions for the identified influencing factors have been found. Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Desa Maju Indragiri Hilir Jaya (DMIJ) Plus Terintegrasi Program by the Village Government of Pengalihan, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2023. Despite ongoing issues related to both physical and non-physical development in Pengalihan Village, a significant portion of the DMIJ Plus Terintegrated Program's budget in 2023 was allocated to village governance activities. As a result, community involvement in the program's activities remained limited. The aim of this research is to examine the implementation of the DMIJ Plus Terintegrated Program by the Village Government of Pengalihan in 2023 and to identify the influencing factors. This study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data used consist of primary data collected through interviews with informants, and secondary data obtained from relevant documents. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. The research applies David C. Korten’s program implementation theory, which emphasizes three main elements: program appropriateness, implementing organization, and target group (beneficiaries). The findings reveal that the program was primarily focused on the operational aspects of village governance, while physical development and community empowerment remained limited due to budget constraints. Organizationally, the structure was in place, but the quality of human resources was still low. From the target group perspective, community participation was lacking due to limited understanding and direct involvement. Overall, the program implementation has not been optimal and has yet to fully address the community's needs. A more participatory approach, enhanced capacity of village apparatus, and strengthened budget management are necessary to ensure more effective and sustainable program implementation. Abstract

In 2017, President Donald Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocated the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, marking a major turning point in the direction of U.S. foreign policy regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This research focuses on analyzing the underlying factors behind this decision, with particular attention to the influence of major lobbying groups such as AIPAC and Evangelical Christian groups in the formulation of U.S. foreign policy. The findings of this research indicate that domestic political motivations and the interests of lobbying groups played a significant role in the decision to recognize Jerusalem, which not only affected U.S - Israeli relations but also sparked international reactions regarding prospects for peace in the Middle East. The conclusion of this study asserts that U.S. foreign policy in this case was driven more by domestic political calculations and pressure from interest groups than by consideration of international law. Abstract

This study aims to explain and determine the extent of the influence of service quality on the satisfaction of umrah pilgrims at PT. Smeva Holiday Pekanbaru both simultaneously and partially and also see which variables have a dominant influence on the satisfaction of Umrah pilgrims. The independent variables used in this study are Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy. While the dependent variable is the satisfaction of the pilgrims. The location of this study is PT. Smeva Holiday Pekanbaru. The sampling technique uses Probability Sampling with a sample size of 150 respondents. From the results of the F test that has been carried out, it shows that the service quality variables consisting of Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy have a joint influence on the satisfaction of Umrah pilgrims with a sig. F value of 0.000

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the Environmental Agency (DLH) of Bengkalis Regency in addressing the issue of palm oil liquid waste in Mandau District. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results indicate that the performance of DLH has not been optimal, even though the Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) achievement reached 93.96% of the target. The main challenges include limited budget, lack of experts, and insufficient time to respond to public complaints. Improvement efforts such as strengthening the monitoring system, enhancing staff competencies, and efficient budget management are urgently needed to increase the effectiveness of palm oil waste control.
