Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difference in abnormal returns before and after theannouncement of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia on the stock index ofselected industrial groups. The population in the study was 63 companies listedon the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020. Data analysis was carried out with anobservation period of 11 days. The test used is a non-parametric test, namely theWilcoxon Signed Rank T Test and the Mann Whitney test. The results show thatthere is a significant difference in abnormal returns in the prospective stockgroup, there is no significant abnormal return difference in the less prospectivestock group, there is no significant abnormal return difference in the two groupsin the period before the event, there is no significant abnormal return differencebetween the two groups. two groups of post-event period. Keywords : Covid-19 Pandemic, Abnormal Return

Abstract

Today's increasing public awareness, about how important it is to maintainenvironmental sustainability, has made many producers of various products begin toswitch to using materials that do not damage the environment or the term isenvironmentally friendly materials. One example is to preserve the environment and toprotect our earth today we need to choose from now on the products we will use. Withthat, it is necessary to start from the youth as the originator, namely Generation Z whowill start choosing products that are environmentally friendly. This study aims todetermine how much influence Green Knowledge, Green Environmental Concern has onGreen Attitude and Green Purchase Intention to Generation Z in Pekanbaru city.Primary data were collected using a questionnaire as an instrument and structuredinterviews were used as a complement in proving the results of the study. This study uses112 Generation Z in Pekanbaru City who intend to make purchases on environmentallyfriendly products as respondents with the Non-Probability Sampling technique. Themethod used is Explanatory Research with data analysis test, classical assumption test,hypothesis test, and path analysis as a data testing flow and assisted by SPSS applicationin terms of data processing. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Green Knowledgehas a positive and significant effect on Green Attitude (2) Green Environmental Concernhas a positive and significant effect on Green Attitude (3) Green Knowledge has apositive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention (4) Green EnvironmentalConcern positive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention Green Attitude haspositive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention (5) Green Knowledge haspositive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention through Green Attitude (7)Green Environmental Concern has positive and significant effect on Green PurchaseIntention through Green Attitude. Keywords: Green Knowledge, Green Environmental Concern, Green Attitude, GreenPurchase Intention, Generation Z

Abstract

This research is conducted to determine the effect of Viral Marketing andElectronic Word of Mouth on Brand Trust and Purchase Decisions on ScarlettProducts in Pekanbaru City. In this study there are four variables, namely ViralMarketing (X1), Electronc Word of Mouth (X2), Brand Trust (Y1) and PurchaseDecision (Y2). The population in this study were all users of Scarlett products witha sample of 126 respondents who were selected using the purposive samplingmethod with the criteria that users of Scarlett products in Pekanbaru city andaged over 17 years. Collecting data in this study is by giving a questionnaire tothe respondents. Meanwhile, in terms of data analysis, this study uses pathanalysis method with the help of SPSS version 26. The results of this studyindicate that: 1) Viral Marketing has positive and significant effect on BrandTrust, 2) Electronic Word of Mouth has a positive and significant effect on BrandTrust, 3) Viral Marketing has positive and significant effect on PurchaseDecisions, 4) Electronic Word of Mouth has positive and significant effect onPurchase Decisions, 5) Brand Trust has positive and significant effect onPurchase Decisions, 6) Viral Marketing has positive and significant effect onPurchase Decisions through Brand Trust, 7) Electronic Word of Mouth onpositive and significant Purchase Decisions through Brand Trust. Keywords: Viral Marketing, Electronic Word of Mouth, Brand Trust andPurchase Decision

Abstract

Every organization or company carries out various policies in overcomingvarious problems within the organization. One of the problems that is often faced is thelarge number of human resources who have the intention or think to leave theorganization. Factors that influence this include leadership, compensation policy,promotion, work environment and job satisfaction. So, with these indications, the authorschose to conduct research in one of the hospitals, namely RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaruwith a focus on leadership issues, compensation which has an impact on nurses' turnoverintention. RSIA Eria Bunda is one of the hospitals in the Pekanbaru area with 78 nurses.The respondents are all nurses with the analytical method used is path analysis. Theresults show that leadership and compensation have a significant effect on nurses'turnover intention with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at RSIA Eria Bunda. Keywords: Turnover Intention, Leadership, Compensation, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

The development of technological and communication advances resulted in faster socialchange, humans raced to show the things they achieved and the lifestyles they adopted.One of them is the hedonistic lifestyle. The Hedonistic lifestyle is a lifestyle that isoriented only towards pleasure and enjoyment. A hedonistic lifestyle can lead toconsumptive behavior. Consumptive behavior is a consumption activity that is not basedon needs but on desire and satisfaction. Consumptive behavior makes changes toconsumption patterns make a person irrational or simply because of emotional factors.This research aims to find out the influence of Social Media Marketing, FinancialLiteracy and Self Control on Consumptive Behavior and Hedonistic Lifestyle on Studentsof the Faculty of Business Economics, University of Riau. The number of samples in thisstudy as many as 114 students of the Faculty of Business Economics, Riau University asrespondents with non-probability sampling techniques. The method used is ExplanatoryResearch. Based on the results of the study found that social media marketing variableshave a significant effect on consumptive behavior. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of quality management andinnovation on competitive advantage and business performance lempuk durian inBengkalis District. The population of study included all lempuk durian business inBengkalis District were 58 units and sampling technique used was saturationsampling. Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS version 3 was used asmethods of data analysis. The results were: 1) Quality management had a positiveand significant effect on competitive advantage; 2) Innovation had a positive andsignificant effect on competitive advantage; 3) Quality management had a positiveand significant effect on business performance; 4) Innovation had a positive andsignificant effect on business performance; 5) Competitive advantage had apositive and significant effect on business performance; 6) Quality managementhad a positive and significant effect on business performance throughworkcompetitive advantage; 7) Innovation had a positive and significant effect onbusiness performance throughwork competitive advantage. Keyword: Quality Management, Innovation, Competitive Advantage, BusinessPerformance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine simultaneously and partially the influence of motivation,work discipline, and morale on the performance of employees at PT. PembangunanAbadi Andalas Agung Duri, Riau. The population in this study amounted to 35 people. Inthis study, the census method was used, the entire population was sampled. The types ofdata used in this research is primary and secondary data. The data collection techniqueis a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple linear regression testwith t-test, F-test and coefficient of determination. The data collected was first analyzedby testing the quality of the instrument, classical assumption test and hypothesis testingusing SPSS version 23 test tool. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Motivation,Work Discipline and work Morale simultaneously have a significant effect on employeeperformance. (2) Motivation partially has a significant effect on employee performance.(3) Work Discipline partially has a significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

Project development planning certainly requires proper analysis and inaccordance with the desired needs. This activity is very necessary because itmeasures how much it will cost and how much it costs to build the project. Roadconstruction in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly, especially in the currentera. The success or failure of the implementation of road construction projects isoften due to the lack of planned project activities and ineffective control so thatproject activities are not efficient. Optimization of development time aims toprevent project delays and minimize costs and accelerate development projectactivities. In the toll road construction project the Pekanbaru Padang Toll roadconstruction work in section 2 STA 55+225 to 59+250 using the CPM methodthere is a critical path where the work activities are land acquisition work,construction work for kit and warehouse directors, foundation work, column work, Stressing girder work, slab work, asphalt coating work, other work and finishingwork. The scheduled duration of the project is 385 days, but after being evaluatedand analyzed by the CPM method, the project can be completed within 374 days.This means that the project can be done 11 days earlier than the specifiedschedule. Keywords: Project Management, Scheduling Optimization, CPM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of performance management andcompetence on employee performance through work motivation as an interveningvariable at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Dumai Branch. The populationin this study includes all employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)Dumai Branch, totaling 119 people. Primary data was collected using aquestionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the study, to test thehypothesis in this study, path analysis was used with the help of SPSS version 26software. The sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratifed RandomSampling or dividing the population into sub-populations/strata proportionallyand carried out randomly (119 employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)Dumai Branch). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and workenvironment on work discipline and employee performance at PT. Mitra UnggulPusaka Segati, Langgam District, totaling 104 people. Primary data wascollected using a questionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the study,to test the hypothesis in this study using path analysis (path analysis with the helpof the SPSS program. The sampling technique that has been selected is the sensesmethod (104 employees at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati). Langgam District).The results showed that: Leadership has a positive and significant effect onemployee work discipline. The work environment has a positive and significanteffect on employee work discipline. Leadership has a positive and significanteffect on employee performance through employee performance discipline. Thework environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performancethrough employee work discipline. Work discipline has a positive and significanteffect on the performance of employees of PT.
