Abstract

This study aims to analyze social performance and financial performance of microfinance institutions UED-SP Mekar Jaya. Market performance indicators formulated by Microfinance Information eXchange (MIX) used to analyze the social performance of financial institutions, and financial performance analyzed using 17 PEARLS ratio. Analysis  of the UED-SP MFI's social has reached the social mission and goals. The cumulative volume of loans 41.61 percent and the higher growth of loans volume the agricultural sector 42.73 percent, the poor borrowers is 45.65 percent and volume of loans increased 55.35 percent. Internal system  activity has developed in addition of the financial products and non-financial services, as well as increased staff incentives. The output and outcome UED-SP MFI’s was increasing in average annual, outreach of the woman borrowers  37.87 percent. The financial performance obtained that the protection is not achieved because it  doesnt have a provision for loan losses on loans greater than 12 month delinquent.Effective financial structure obtained  the net loans higher than range limit of ideal achivement,  ratio of members share capital in ideal, ratio of capital institutions in ideal. Asset quality in Non Perfoaming Loans (NPL)  and ratio of non-earning asset are in ideal. Return and cost operating expenses are not ideal while net loan income are ideal, ratio of income from non-earning liquid assets are not ideal. Abstract

This research aimed to determine the perception, interest, and the relationship between perception and interest the pineapple farmers on pineapple agroindustry in Village of Kualu Nenas Subdistrict Tambang Kampar Regency. The method taked of data used is a survey method. The population in this study is the pineapple farmers who are members of farmer groups combined (GaPokTan). Intake of respondents in this study conducted with purposive sampling with consideration only the cultivation of pineapple farmers with 45 respondents. Data were analyzed with descriptive method. Variable perception and interest were analyzed with Likert's Summated Rating Scale, while the relationship of perception and interest were analyzed by spearman rank correlation. The results showed that the perception of pineapple farmers on pineapple agroindustry have good category with score 4,05. Interest of pineapple farmers on pineapple agroindustry is high enough with score 3,31. The relationship between perception and interest pineapple farmers with spearman rank correlation showed a positive and significant correlation at the 0,01 level with correlation coefficient value 0,477. This means that the better pineapple farmer’s perception on pineapple agroindustry, the better pinapple farmer’s interest on pineapple agroindustry, and rather the worse then getting a bad perception also of interest.   Keywords: Perception, Interest, Relationship Perception and Interest, Pineapple Agroindustry

Abstract

This study aims to determine the shape of the rubber marketing channels, costs, margins, profits and the relationship between the rubber farmers in the village Toke Teratak. This study uses survey and sampling techniques purposive sampling. The population in this study are 208 people with the number of farmers sampled as many as 24 people and 4 samples Toke appropriate criteria. More efficient marketing channels, namely, the marketing channel III. Marketing channel III total marketing costs are smaller and farmer's share (Part Farmers received) higher and lower marketing efficiency. The amount of marketing margin analysis contained in the marketing channel of rubber channel 1 and channel Toke In the third, amounting to Rp. 2,500/kg. Marketing efficiency is more efficient (smallest) obtained at the third marketing channel that is Rp. 6.08% with a marketing fee of Rp. 730/kg and the farmer received Rp. 83.33%. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the financial feasibility of rubber plantation in Desa Sungai Jalau, North Kampar district. Desa Sungai Jalau obtain assist production medium from Plantantion Office of Riau for development 35 ha rubbers plant.  The instruments of this research are; analyzing the (NPV), (Net B / C) and (IRR) and also sensitivity analysis. The used of data is primary data and secondary data. Primary data is price data were obtained from farmers and employer and secondary data is physics data obtained from Tamora garden of PTPN V, and another data from related agencies. The result shower that analyzing Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp.447.198.856,00, Net Benefit Cost (Net B/C) is 5,41 and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 30,48%. The farmer income in one month is Rp. 1.491. 663,00. Analyzing of sensitivity of the changes of the production around 5%,NPV Rp.436.858.726,00 which slope NPV is 2,38%. The changes of the output around 10%, nilai NPV Rp. Rp. 440.909.123,00 which slope NPV is 1,42. The changes of the input around 40% NPV Rp. 203.569.908 which slope NPV is 54,55%.These proofed the rubber plan is still able to do if there is the changes of price and three aspects, because the NPV value still give positive value and IRR value > 0 and also Net B/C bigger than discount factor 12%. Abstract

This study aims to identify patterns of marketing channels made ​​by farmer of rubber at Pulau Busuk Jaya village, analyze the efficiency of the marketing of rubber at Pulau Busuk Jaya village, knowing the social relationship between the Tauke and the farmer of rubberand knowing theinterest and impeller factors of farmers to sell the rubber to the Tauke. The results showed that the marketing channels that occurred in the Pulau Busuk Jaya village consists of two marketing channels, namely channel 1 of the traders ( Tauke ) to wholesalers ( outside the village ) and go directly to the PT. Agrolestari Kuantan Singingi and on channel 2 of the traders ( Tauke ) go to the PT. Agrolestari Kuantan Singingi.Social relations that occur between the farmer of rubberand the Tauke which is a measure of the size of wealth, the size of honor, power and authority, size and knowledge. The interest and impeller factors of rubber farmer sell to the Taukeis influenced by several factors of which the interest factor that is price,provision of capital, social relation between farmer and traders (Tauke) appropriate bargaining system and the trust factor. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing mix, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the marketing of pineapple chips, agroindustry marketing strategy agribusiness UMKM incubator tenants University of Riau. The method used in this research is a case study with a sample of 10 entrepreneurs. The results showed that the product consisted of pineapple chips of various sizes ranging from size 100 grams, 125 grams, 150 grams, 200 grams and bulk packaged in plastic containers and packaging boxes. The selling price of pineapple chips varies from Rp. 10,000 to Rp. 25.000 according to the packaging used. Distribution Marketing pineapple chips was focused on the local area that is Pekanbaru, Perawang, Danau Bingkuang but occasionally also carried into the field of marketing. Promotion done yet continuous pineapple chips businessmen, entrepreneurs simply do promotions with direct interaction to consumers, in addition to the promotion of the use of brochures and mass media do only a few businessmen, entrepreneurs also take advantage of the promotion through government assistance by following the bazaar and exhibitions. Marketing strategy pineapple chips to do is strengthen the brand or product brand, maximize product quality so as to penetrate the market, make loans to banks, in cooperation with other regional traders and standardized products. Abstract

Rubber plant is one of the plantation crop which has the potential to be developed at Sungai Jalau Village because it is one of the high producers village of rubber plant in the North Kampar. Some differences were found in the income of the Rubber farmer because of different purchasing offered by the employer. The purpose of this study to analysis the structure and level of house income of rubber farmers at Sungai Jalau Village. The method used in this study is a survey method by using purposive sampling. Total populations of 110 rubber farmers were taken which are subscribed by 3 major employers and then 28 farmers were sampled according to the criteria of the study. The results of the study shows that the agricultural sector is the largest contributor to the total household income of rubber farmers is 73,82% and the rest 26,18% was contributed by the revenues of non-agricultural sector. The total average household income received from primary income is Rp.2.098.057/month (63,21%) and additional income is Rp.424.120/month (12,78%), and the total average household income received from other family members is Rp.797.077/month (24,01%), while the average per capita income is Rp.7.966.210/year. Abstract

The development of oil palm cultivation relating to the availability of quality seeds, one way getting quality seeds is by the addition of nutrients through fertilization using compost. This research aimed to determine the effect of the type of compost and the best compost for the growth of main nursery oil palm seedlings. This research was conducted at the land of the Plants Laboratory in Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau for 4 months. This research was carried out experimentally using completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of              6 utilizing several types of compost are: K1 = oil palm empty fruit bunches compost, K2 = male flowers of oil palm compost, K3 = rice straw compost,          K4 = compost LCC, K5 = compost vegetable waste and K6 = municipal solid waste compost, with 4 replications. The data were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and further tested using Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the utilizing of several types of compost (100 g/10 kg soil) had no significant effect on seedling height accretion, number of leaves, leaf length, dry weight of plant, crown root ratio and seed quality indices, but had significant effect on girth hump accretion. utilizing of male flowers of oil palm compost (100 g/10 kg soil) provide girth hump accretion, dry weight of plant and seed quality indices tend to be higher than other compost. Abstract

Beef cattle is a contributor to the meat of ruminant meat production groups nationwide that farming has the potential to be developed as a profitable business. The development of the cattle business partnerships is one alternative for farmers increase profits. The Partnership is a collaboration between agribusiness start of the process of preproduction, production to marketing that is based on the principle of mutual need and benefit for those who partnered. Beef cattle business partnerships between investors with livestock farmers (penggaduh) in the Village District of Sail Tenayan Raya such Pekanbaru City is expected to increase beef production nationally, which until now have not been able to meet the growing needs of the community. Partnerships occur at the study site in the form of silent partnerships (sillent partner) where the investor share in the profits and losses (if any) on the business, but is not involved in managing the business and the involvement of investors are rarely made ​​public. Investors usually only provide capital. Based on the analysis of the business, the average yield amounted to 24 people petrnak farmers by maintaining 8 bali male head of cattle during the time period of Rp. 73,554,167, -. The average amount of the cost of Rp. 55,393,295, - So the average profit of Rp. 18,160,871, - Where the benefits applied with a 50:50 sharing system then each receive Rp. 9,080,436, - This paper aims to determine the profits to the beef cattle business partnership. Abstract

The research was conducted in Pandau Permai Housing Complex Kampar Regency, for 5 mounth start from April until August 2013. Respondents was 99 people and selected by purposive sampling. The study aims to determine consumer behavior in consuming anak daro rice by analyzing consumer attitudes and subjective norms. The method of analysis  used in this study refers to analytical techniques in the reasoned action theory by Fishbein. The result depict that consumer attitudes in consuming anak daro rice show the positive value upon attributes brand, price, taste, cleanliness, color, texture or shape and the ease of obtaining attribute, while aroma attributes shows the negative value. The highest value of the attribute is taste attribute. Consumer’s subjective norm in consuming anak daro rice shows that attributes of income rate and attributes of people-surrounding gain the positive value, and attributes of people- surrounding gains the highest score. Consumer behavior in consuming anak daro rice shows the results that consumer interest in consuming anak daro rice is quite high. Cartesian diagram was used to analyze the rate of consumer confidence and interest in consuming anak daro rice. The result of the Cartesian diagram is, there is no attribute of anak daro rice in quadrant I (The Top Priority). In quadrant II (Maintain Achievement) there are attributes of taste, brand, price and cleanliness of the anak daro rice, for quadrant III (Low Priority) there are attributes of color and aroma of anak daro rice and there are attributes texture or shape and ease in obtaining of anak daro in quadrant IV (Excessive).   Keywords: Consumer, Behavior, Attribute, Anak daro rice, Fishbein.
