Abstract

Abstrack: The background of this study is students low in mathematical of VII grade at SMP Negeri 4 Mandau. The aimed of study is to find out whether there is significant effect of using “problem based learning model” toward students mathematical of VII grade at SMP Negeri 4 Mandau. The study employed the pre-experimental research focus on the static group comparison study design. The sampling of technique was purposive. The samples were two classes that have been purposive sampling after normality test and homogeneity test with the class as an experimental class and control class as a class. There were two sampling in this study; the experimental class was using “problem based learning model” and the control class with scientific approach learning. Data analysis technique used was t-test . Based on the final results of data processing obtained t > t table (1.714 > 1.666) meaning that the application of methods of problem based learning affect learning outcomes in mathematics class VII SMP Negeri 4 Mandau on the material algebra. The finding of this research showed experimental class better than control class (78.13 > 71.13). So, it can be concluded there was significant effect of using problem based learning model toward student’s mathematical of VII grade at SMP Negeri 4 Mandau on the first semester academic years 2016/2017 on the material algebra.Key Word : The result of mathematical, problem based learning model, pre-experimental research.

Abstract

Abstract : The research about application of active learning Football Verbal strategy to improve students learning achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 2 Kampar have been done. Tipe of research is experiment research with design randomized control group pretest-posttest. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X4 as experiment class and X3 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given treatment with implementing active learning Football Verbal strategy while the control class wasnot given active learning Football Verbal strategy. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of the analysis showed that tscore > ttable (3,66 > 1,67), it means that the active learning Football Verbal strategy can improve students achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN2 Kampar. The category improvement of students learning achievement in experiment class was high category and in control class was medium category with N-gain 0,78 and 0,67 sequentially.Key Words : Active Learning Football Verbal strategy, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of the study is to know the influencet of capital and the participation of members abaut (SHU) on KPRI University of Riau. The subject of this study is the members of KPRI University OF Riau, amount 94 people, the samples are taken by using the proportional sampling. The data are primary data and secondary data with data collection by using questionnaires and documentation. The echnique of analysis data I used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis processed through SPSS 16.0 For Windows and Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that capital and the participation have significant effect on SHU. It’s meani the more higher capital from the member so the more hugher parcipation of member too and it wiil be increasing attainment of SHU. In other hard for increasing SHU, the operation need the motivation from the member by capital or the participation.Key Words: Cooperatives, Capital, Member Participation, the balance of the enterprises, SHU

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the result of observation in the field toward confidence of student, it find that confidence of student are not yet improve optimally. So, there is needed applying of fashion show activity. This research has a purpose to know the influence of fashion show activity. This research of applying fashion show activity toward confidence of 5-6 years old children in early childhood Aqila Kids District Tambang Regency of Kampar. Sample of this research are 14 student of class B. Technique to college data is using observation technique and technique of data analysis is using t-test with using SPSS 18.0 program. Hypotheses of this research is there are very significant influence toward student confidence after applying fashion show activity. This is knowing from the result of data obtained t=17.298 p=0,000 because p < 0,05. So, it can be conclude that there has a very significant different of student confidence. confidence after using fashion show activity in teaching learning. So, its mean that Ho refused and Ha accepted that means there are very significant different between before and after doing the experiment with fashion show activity. Abstract

Abstract : This study in background backs by low learning outcomes IPS Grade IV SDN 016 Sekeladi ie with an average of 56.0. Of the 15 students, only 6 students achieve the learning outcomes and 9 students who do not achieve the learning outcomes of a predefined KKM is 65. This research aims to improve learning outcomes through the application of learning models IPS quantum teaching in grade IV SDN 016 Sekeladi Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir district. This research is a classroom action research. Cycle stages in the repair of this study megalami twice the cycle in which the data were collected through observation of teacher activity and student activity observation during the learning process and the results of daily tests. The results showed that the application of quantum model of teaching can improve learning outcomes IPS. This proved the average value obtained by students each cycle has increased. The average yield obtained preliminary data 56.0. After improvement of learning through quantum model of teaching in the first cycle 64.0. Dilanjutakan to the second cycle on average earn 73.3. Mean that teachers in the application of quantum learning model of teaching in social studies in accordance with the abilities of students so that the resulting self-confidence in students to absorb the lessons and can improve learning outcomes IPS. The activities of teachers in the application of Quantum models of teaching have increased in the first cycle the first meeting increased 58.33% 68.75% Second meeting, the second cycle of the first meeting to meeting increased 70.83% to 81.25% II. Student activity in the application of Quantum Teaching models to improve learning outcomes IPS has increased from cycle to cycle. Student activity first cycle of meetings I got a score of 33 with a percentage of 68.75%, while the second meeting got a score of 34 percentage 70.83%. Cycle II perteman I got a total score of 35 with a percentage of 72.91% and the second cycle of the second meeting got a total score of 38 with the percentage becomes 79.16%. Keywords: Model Quantum Teaching, Learning Outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of code of the nation. One was the religious character of today's young generation. Spiritual Quotient has a role to influence the religious character of students. In this schools with a variety of activities to improve spiritual intelligence will affect the religious character of students. therefore, the formulation of the problem of this research is how the influence of spiritual quotient against the religious character of students MTs Nurul Iman Dusun Cita Harapan Sungai Ara Village District of Kempas Regency of Indragiri Hilir. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of spiritual quotient against the religious character of students MTs Nurul Iman  Dusun Cita Harapan Sungai Ara Village Distric of Kempas Regency of Indragiri Hilir. This research is useful for the reader to add insight and information about education. This research method is quantitative descriptive. Data collection instruments used were a questionnaire consisting of 25 statements about spiritual quotient (variable X) and 25 statement about religious character (variable Y) distributed to 58 student respondents. Data analysis using simple linear regression. Thus the hypothesis that "there Effect significant spiritual quotient against the religious character of students MTs Nurul Iman Dusun Cita Harapan Sungai Ara Village Distric of  Kempas Regency of Indragiri Hilir" acceptable. This is evidenced by a series of simple linear regression between the variables X and Y, obtained Fhitung 6.501 and 4.01 Ftabel obtained from the distribution list Ftabel with N = 58, the significant level of 5%, thus Fhitung ≥ Ftabel, or 6,501 ≥ 4 ,01 then Ho is rejected, so the hypothesis in this study received.  Key Words: Spiritual Quotient, Religious Character

Abstract

Abstract: Development of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reaction has been done. Development of learning media to get a valid learning media. The research and development method used ADDIE models which consists of five stages are analysis, design, development, implement and evaluate. Data collected technique used validation sheet was given to three validators (two of media expert and a matter experts). The results showed score of the designing aspectswas 3,73; pedagogic aspects was 4; the content aspects was 3,83; the ease of use aspects was 3,93.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reactionwas3,87.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 show that this media is valid and can be use in learning process.Key Words: Learning Media, Visual Basic 6.0, Rate of Reaction

Abstract

Abstract: The issue in this research is about the result of long jump squat style in 2 A Coaching Students University of Riau, that was still lacking. It can be seen while doing lecture athletic exercise in squat style long jump, there are many mistakes from the students such as lack in making a satisfying jump, which their jump length average is below 3 meters. Writer assumes it was because the prefilx rejected (sprint) not optimal so leap is not optimal, mean while he target of long jump length to be achieved is 4 meters. This research is an experimental research. The population in this research is 2A coaching students, University of Riau, and the sample in this research is all people in the population which are 8 people in total. The data collection technique is from pretest and posttest. The instrument that was used in this research is long jump, which aims to measure the results of long jump squat style . The independent variable is the command method (long jump start up technique) (X), the dependent variable is the result of long jump squat style (Y). After that, the data is processed statistically, to test the normality with Liliefors test at significance level 0,05α. The hypothesis is there is influence of the command method (long jump start up technique) on the results of long jump squat style. Based on the result of t test analysis , T result is 37,15 and T table is 18.12, it means T result > T table . It can be concluded that H a is accepted, it concludes that there is a significant effect on the command method (long jump start up technique) on the results of squat style long jump in 2A coaching students University of Riau.Key words: Command Method (Long Jump Start Up Technique), Long Jump Result,Squat Style Long Jump

Abstract

Abstract : This correlation research is aimed to find out the correlation of the students motivation with reading comprehension of the second year students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The research data were collected from July to August 2016. The subject of this research was class XI IPA 3, which consist of 30 students. The data were collected by giving a test to the students in the form of multiple choice test and questionnaire about motivation. The result of the research showed that the second year students of Man 1 Pekanbaru got mediocre level with the mean score of 49,67 in reading comprehension and enough category (67,8) in the students questionnaire of motivation. Therefore, it can be concluded that the correlation of the second year students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru in motivation and reading comprehension is high with rxy is 0,72.Key Words: Correlation, Motivation, Reading Comprehension

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problem in this research was the poor students’ achievements in social sciences , it can be seen on students’ social sciences scores. There were 12 of 19 students who had not achieved the achievement standard (63%), while the ones who achieved wer only 7 students (37%) and the average scores of the class was 55,68. The achievement standard that school determines in 65. The method of research was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage of teachers’ activity was 67,5% which is categorized as good. At the second meeting, the percentage increased to 72,5% which is categorized as good. At first meeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 75% that is categorized as very good. At second meeting, the percentage increased to 77,5% which is categorized as very good. The students’activities has increased. At first meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 65% which is categorized as good, while at second meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 67,5% which is categorized as good. At the first meeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 75% that is categorized as very good, while the second meeting the percentage increased to 77,5% which is categorized as very good. The average of students’ achievements before the implementation cooperative learning snowball drilling type was 55,68, which incerased 76,84 in cycle I and increased again 83,16 in cycle II. The result of research showed that implementation cooperative learning snowball drilling type can improve students result of social sciences of grade three B at SDN 11 Kerinci Kiri Kecamatan Kerinci Kanan.Key Words: Study Result, Cooperative Learning Snowball Drilling Type, Social Sciences
