Abstract

Abstract : The student activities sheet (LKPD) predict-observe-explain (POE) based for chemistry subject grade XI for colloid materials based on curriculum 2013 has been developed. Method of this research is Research and Development (RnD). The research has been conducted for 5 months using a research model 4D which are Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The disseminate is not carried out due to takes time. The instruments of this research are questioners which are given to the validators. There are four validators, three validators are lecturer of chemistry riau university and one validator is teacher SMA 12 Pekanbaru. The result of this research shows the validity of student participant exercise sheet (LKPD) us 90,2 %, that the category is valid. Based on the result analysis can be concluded that the learning device consist of student activities sheet (LKPD) predict-observe-explain (POE) based which is developed for the chemical learning device subject of grade XI for colloid materials valid or proper based on the curriculum 2013.Keywords: Student participant exercise sheet (LKPD), predict-observe-explain(POE), Curriculum 2013, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract : This research is an experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design that was done at first grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Rambah Rokan Hulu. The purpose of research are to know whether the aplication of cooperative learning models TPS and TGT can improve the student’s achievement in Hydrocarbons topic, and whether there are significant differences between the aplication of the TPS and TGT models in improving the student’s achievement. There are three classes which were choiced as the research samples. Xb as the first experiment class (TPS), Xa as the second experiment class (TGT) and Xf as the control class. The three samples were tested for normality using the Liliefors test and for homogenity using the Bartlett test. The analyze of hypotesis is using t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, the cooperative learning models TPS and TGT can improve the student’s achievement (tobserved = 1,96 > ttable = 1,67 ; tobserved = 3,12 > ttable = 1,67). The are no significant differences between the aplication of the TPS and TGT models in improving the student’s achievement (tobserved = 1,78 < ttable = 2,00).Keywords : Comparison Study, Think Pair Square (TPS), Team Games Tournament (TGT), Student’s Achievement, Hydrocarbons.

Abstract

Abstract: Hydrocarbons concepts that are abstract need a learning media to visualize the concepts of hydrocarbons with more concrete. The development of computer technology to encourage the development of computer-based learning media, but only 20-25% are considered valid for the purposes of learning. This research aims to develop chemistry learning media based on Aurora 3D Presentation in hydrocarbons. Development of learning media is one attempt to generate computer based learning media to produce an appropiate and preciss of properness condition media. This type of research is research and development (R & D) with model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, Evaluation). Collect data is done by using instrument validation sheet, filling by 3 validators. Data obtained in the form of advice and the value of the validation sheet. The average value obtained from the validation is 3.64 for the fourth assessment aspects (design, pedagogic, content, and technical) and 3.67 for the general assessment of the media with valid category. Based on the results of the validation and data analysis can be concluded that hydrocarbons learning media based on Aurora 3D Presentation the Aurora have been valid and can be used in Senior High School.Keywords : Learning Media, Aurora 3D Presentation, Hydrocarbons

Abstract : Research has been done to get student’s mastery learning with by using model Cooperative Active Knowledge Sharing inclassXI Science SMAN 2 Tambang. This researchis pra-experimentresearchwith one-shot study case design. The sampel use random from the five class XI Science. This research was conducted in class XI Science MIA 5, the for two month’s from january to february 2015. Data analysistechnique by using five formula mastery.mastery individual learning objectives (KTPI), mastery each of the learning objectives (KMTP), classical mastery learning objectives (KTPK), mastery learning of individual (KI), mastery learning classical (CBC). Abstract

Absract : This research is motivated because of the growing number of street children in the city of Pekanbaru from year to year were forced to take to the streets for food just to survive. In accordance with the policy of the Department of Social and Funeral Pekanbaru against street children is a coaching program. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the implementation of policies and the Social Service Pekanbaru City Cemetery on Street Children. This study aims to determine the policy implementation of Social Service and Burial Pekanbaru on Street Children. As for the population in this study is the Employees Social Service and Funeral Pekanbaru and street children Pekanbaru totaling 560 people, while the sample in this study is the Head of Service and Social Empowerment as many as 1 person, Head of Section for Child Welfare Family and the elderly as much as one person, the coach street children as much as one person, and street children as many as 53 people. A sampling technique that uses a technique purposive sampling area. The technique of collecting data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature, and documentation. The results showed that the Social Service Policy Implementation Analysis and Funeral Pekanbaru About Street Children answer "yes" for (37.15%) and who answered "no" for (62.85%) are the benchmark of 51% - 100% if referring to the opinion Husaini Usman. It can be concluded that the Office of Policy Implementation Analysis of Social and Pekanbaru City Cemetery About Street Children is Not Good.Keywords: Policy, Street Children

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low students‟ motivation to learn civics at SMPN 1 Sinaboi District One Rokan Hilir. Formulation of the problem in this research was: How was the effectiveness of using the learning cell toward students„ motivation of PKn of VIII grade of SMPN 1 Sinaboi District One Atap Rokan Hilir? This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the learning cell method toward students‟ motivation in learning civics of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sinaboi One Atap Rokan Hilir. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Sinaboi District One on August until September 2015. This research was descriptive quantitative with population in this research was VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sinaboi District One Atap. The sample in this study were drawn based on the technique of "purposive sampling". Where classes which taken into the sample was class VIII B (experimental) where students given the method of learning cells, and class VIII C (control) students were given conventional method. Then the data analyzed by the homogeneity test and "t" test. Based on the results of the study, it indicated that there was significant effect using the learning cell method toward students' motivation between the experimental and control class in SMP Negeri 1 Sinaboi One Atap. (t = 23.79> table = 2.01). Where there was increase of average of students' motivation in learning civics in class experiment from 57.04 into 65.68 on the first meeting, on second meeting into 68.06, and 71, 96 on the third meeting. Then the average increase motivation to learn the control class of 54, 88 become 61.32 the first meeting, a second meeting 62.04 and 62.68 the third meeting. Thus the hypothesis which said that there was significant motivation in learning civics which use the learning cell method than using the conventional method at SMP Negeri 1 Sinaboi District One Atap Rokan Hilir.Keywords: Method of Learning the lerning cell, Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: Background of the problem in this study is the low of speaking skills Elementary School fourth grade students 125 pekanbaru, the average grade62,95,. Of it is found that the speaking skills of students is low. This study aims to improve learning outcomes speaking skills Elementary School Fourth grade students 125 Pekanbaru applying learning model Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun (PAKEM). The research was conducted o March 31, 2015 to April 27, 2015 that carried as much as cycle. This thesis present speaking skills the results obtained from the study before action replay value with an average of 62,95, an increase in the first cycle with an average of 63,63. I the second cycle increased by an average of 80,30. Teacher activity the first cycle and and the first meeting of 58,33% the second meeting increased to 62,50%. The first meeting of the second cycle of 75% and the second meeting increased to 83,33%. Student activity the fisrt cycle the fisrt meeting with an average of 57,14 and a second meeting increased to 58,33%. At the first meeting of the second cycle with an average of 79,17% and at the second meeting increased to 83,33%. From the results of studies in fourth grade Elemetary School 125 Pekanbaru prove that the application of learning model active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Elementary School Fourth grade students 125 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Model Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun (PAKEM), speaking skills

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the skills of writing children's stories Elementary School fifth grade students through the application of the model 21 Pekanbaru Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL). The subjects were students of class V SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru the academic year 2013/2014 the number of students as many as 40 people. While the object of this research is to improve children's story writing skills through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The application is done in two cycles. The first cycle consists of two meetings with one daily tests at the end of the cycle and the second cycle consists of two meetings with one daily tests at the end of the cycle. Data collection instruments in this assessment is the observation sheet teacher and student activities and student skill assessment sheet results. Before taking action with an average of 61.62. While the value of the minimum completeness criteria 65. Among the students numbered 40 people only 18 people who reach KKM with the classical percentage of 45%. In the first cycle of daily tests the skills of students with an average of 66.80, while the daily test cycle II increased by an average of 80.68. Instrument data collection using observation sheets teacher activity and student activity observation sheet during the learning process takes place in class V SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. The percentage of activity of teachers in the first cycle the first meeting with the average 65%, at a meeting II increased by an average of 75%. In the second cycle the first meeting of an average percentage of 82.5%, at the second meeting of an average percentage of 95%. Furthermore, the percentage of student activity first cycle of the first meeting of an average percentage of 55.62%, in the second meeting peesentase average of 70.89%. In the second cycle the first meeting persentasse average of 84.28%, in the second meeting of an average percentage of 94.03%. From the above shows that through the application of models Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to improve the writing skills of children's stories in learning Indonesian Elementary School fifth grade 21 Pekanbaru, unacceptable.Keywords : Model Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL), Writing Skills

Abstract

Abstract : This study, entitled Analysis of the poem text in teacher handbooks, book publishers authentic assessment v erlangga in primary school classroom. In the 2013 curriculum learning poetry still be learned in elementary school therefore collection of poems in which there are some poems which will be analyzed in order to understand the meaning of the poem. The method used in this research is descriptive method through literature. Descriptive research method can be interpreted as a troubleshooting procedure investigated by describing or depicting the state of the subject or object at the present time based on facts that appear or as it is. Poems contained in the book authentic assessment fifth grade elementary school publisher grants the use of figurative language, there are 6 kinds of figurative language that is personification, sinekdot, allegorical, parable epics, metonymy, metaphor and hipalase while in some poetry still use the meaning of denotation as in poetry entitled Lingkunganku and Negeriku.Keywords: Bupena, Poetry, Analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: this descriptive research was conducted in order to find out the taboo words in the fast and furious series 6 movie. The data were collected using the sociolinguistic approach. The data were in the form of utterances, while the contexts of the data were the dialogues uttered by the characters in the movie. The sources of the data were the video of Fast and Furious Series 6 movie and its transcript. The data were collected by selecting dialogues containing taboo words after watching the video and matching the transcript with the video carefully. The primary instrument of this research was a data sheet. The results of this research are stated as follows. Firstly, six of the seven types of taboo words occur in the characters’ utterances in Fast Six movie. They are mother in law, sex, death, excretion, bodily function and religion. From 59 data found in the movie, death has the biggest number of occurrence with 21 times out of total data (35.59%). The smallest number of taboo words’ type is sex and religion with 3 times occurrence (5.08%). Secondly, four functions of taboo words are found in the series namely to show contempt, to draw attention to oneself, to be provocative, and to mock an authority. The most appeared function is to draw attention to oneself with 42 times out of total data (71.18%). The lowest function is to mock authority with only 1 occurrence (1.69%).Key words: Sociolinguistics, Taboo Words, Fast Six Movie
