Abstract

bstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and learning outcomes math class VIII B Hubbulwathan MTs Duri by applying Cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type. The subjects were students of class VIII B with heterogen academic ability. This research is a class action with two cycles. Each cycle has four steps, the steps are the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Results showed activity sheets and teacher observation of students have not done well yet after taking action. There is no improvement in thestudents learning process and no increasing in the number of students who achieved at UH minimum completeness criteria end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve minimum completeness criteria on base score. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can not improve the process of learning and improving mathematics learning out comes of VIII B Student in the MTS Hubbulwathan Duri on second semester of academic year 2013/2014, because the students do not master the prerequisites lessons as supporting material of the subject being studied.Keywords: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), Classroom Action Research

Abstract

 Abstract: This reseacrh based on the students mathematics learning outcomes at grade IXB Junior High School 1 Salo under Minimum Mastery Criteria with a percentage of 4,35% on the subject matter about similarity and then the learning process still teacher center. The research was classroom action research. This research aims to improve learning process and outcomes students of math lesson by implementing Quick on the Draw technic in cooperative learning model tipe STAD at grade IXB Junior High School 1 Salo in the first semester academic years 2014/2015. There are 23 students in the class, consisting 14 boys and 9 girls. The instrument of data collection on this research are observation sheets and mathematics learning outcomes tests. Analysis data of observation was performed with narrative descriptive analysis and analysis data of mathematics learning outcomes was performed with descriptive statistical analysis. From the narrative descriptive analysis showed an improvement of learning process from the prior action to the first cycle and the second cycle. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning Mathematic from the basic score with percentage 3,45% to 30,43% on the first test and 56,52% on second test. From the results of this study concluded that Quick on the Draw technic in cooperative learning model tipe STAD can improve learning process and students mathematics learning outcomes at grade IXB Junior High School 1 Salo in the first semester academic years 2014/2015.Key Word : Mathematics Learning Outcome, Cooperative Learning, Quick on the Draw, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was to describe Biology teacher’s implementation of authentic assessment profile at Vocational High School Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru. This study held on September 2014 until December 2014. The subject of this research was Biology teacher of class X Pharmacy SMK Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru. The data collecting techniques used in this reasearch were questionnaire and observation. The questionnaire consists of 51 items and three indicators. The indicator are, (I) Objectives, benefits and principles of authentic assessment, (II) Three aspects of authentic assessment, (III) Seven form of authentic assessment. Descriptive study was implemented in this study. Profile implementation of authentic assessment at class X SMK Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru in learning process the result showed that biology teachers’ were: (I) The assessment was implemented in accordance with the objectives, benefits and principles of authentic assessment was very good category (100%). (II) Cognitive assessment was good category (79%), affective was good category (75%), psychomotor was good enough category (55%). (III) Implementation of seven forms of authentic assessment in the subjects of Biology class X Pharmacy SMK Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru: a written assessment was very good category (90%), attitudes assessment was good category (75%), self assessment was good category (75%), assessment of performance was good category (75%), project assessment was good category (75%), products assessment was good category (75 % ), portofolio assessment was good category (75%). An overall, biology teachers’ of class X Pharmacy SMK Pharmacy Ikasari able to organize an authentic assessment in biology learning process in accordance with the implementation of the curriculum 2013.Key words: authentic assessment, vocational high school pharmacy ikasari, biology teacher

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is develop of student worksheets based on scientific approach for senior high school biology grade XI. This development consisted of eight student worksheets. This study was conducted in Biology Education Program and tryout in PMIPA Laboratorium of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau on May to December 2014. Validation sheets, student responses sheets and critical thinking skill sheets were used as data collection instruments. Validation sheets were filled by the internal and external vaidators. Student responses sheet were filled by students and critical thinking skill sheet were filled by observers. Collected datas were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The result of this worksheets development showed that the student worksheets were very valid with score 3.6-3.7. Student responses to the worksheet were 35.5% of very good, 41.2% of good and 25.5% of good enough. Based on study result, the development of student worksheets based on scientific approach was done with 4D model that consists of define, design, develop and disseminate. Based on validation result, this students worksheets based on scientific approach could be implemented with filed test.Key words: Critical Thinking, Development, Student Worksheet Based On Scientific Approach

Abstract

Abstract: To investigate the diversity of gastropods in the mangrove of the Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak in April to December 2014. The results are used for the development of instructional media in the form of media objects directly in the form of wet preservation of the species are found. This research was carried out with 2 phases: phase field research and media development. Determination of the research station by purposive sampling to establish three research stations. Each station consists of two transects and on each transect consists of 3 plots. Biological parameters observed that diversity index and the physical and chemical parameters include salinity, pH, temperature, organic content of the substrate and the texture class. The results showed that the diversity of gastropods in the mangrove forest area Apit Siak River District ranged from 1,73 to 1,82 which is relatively moderate range. The results of the research can be used as a medium of learning in the from of media preservation of biodiversity of the material wet grade ten senior high school.Keywords: Diversity Gastropoda, Mangrove, Media Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to find outskill of critical thinking for high school students in solving written test in biologyl science olympiad for junior-senior high school in Riau 2014. This research was descriptive research. This reseach conducted in August 2014. The sample of this research were all participants of written test stage II and stage III, participants in UKT stage II were 266 and participants in UKT stage III were 147. Techniques to determine sampling was total sampling. Parameters measured were skill of critical thinking students which used indicators in 5 critical activity of Ennis. The result showed skill of critical thinking of high school students in solving written test stage II and stage II showed not good criteria with percentage respectively 37% and 28.3%. There are 5 critical activity indicators according to Ennis, the research indicated the lowest percentage found in critical activity 4 that provide further explanation. The conclusion of the research was skill of critical thinking high school students in solving written tes in biology science olympiad for Junior-Senior high school students in Riau 2014 was not good with percentage 32.65%. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to develop scientific approach-oriented science learning materials on biotechnology and food production topic for grade IX junior high school. The developments consisted of syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, authentic assessment (paper and pencil test, attitude assessment, performance assessment, product assessment, project assessment, self-assessment and portofolio assessment). The development was conducted at Biology Education University of Riau and the pilot test at SMPN 7 Pekanbaru. The research held on April until December 2014. Research and Development with ADDIE model was implemented in this research The subjects were Basic Competence 3.9 and 4.9 that containing in the grade IX Junior High School. Validation sheet was used as data collecting instrument. Validation sheet was filled by four validators. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results of the development of science learning materials obtained the following data: lesson plan was 3.6, student worksheet was 3.6, attitude assessment was 3.6, the project assessment was 3.7, the product assessment was 3.6, the performance assessment was 3.6, a written assessment was 3.5, self-assessment was 3.6, portofolio assessment was 3.8. In the final stage of research, limited test was conducted using the worksheets, student response  questionnaires and self-assessment questionnaires on class IX.7 with 34 students. Based on the results of the validation and pilot test, it can be conclude that the scientific approach-oriented science learning materials for grade IX junior high school could be implement throught the field-scale test. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research was to know whether there is any influence of members knowledge about cooperative and quality of the service on members participation at Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KPRI) Of Religion Ministry Department, Province Of Riau. This research was done on June 2014. The population of the research was the entire member of the cooperative department (KPRI) of religion ministry department, province of Riau. The total of the sample was 289 members. The sample which is used was 72 people and technique of data collection was systematic random sampling technique. The technique of data analysis was by using SPSS 16.0 version. The conclusion of the test F (F-test) of the influence of members knowledge about cooperative and quality service on members participation was found 26,695. Meanwhile , F-table was found 3,13 . so the researcher found that F hitung > F table . it means that there is a influence of members knowledge about cooperative and quality service on members participation. R2 scale was found 0,436 which is mean the variable of members’ knowledge about cooperative and quality service 43,6 % as known as variability from the member participation and the rest is influence by the others variables that were not belong for this research . the similiarity of the double regression was found Ŷ= 5,635 +0,040 X1 + 0,295 X2.Keywords : participation, members’ knowledge and service quality

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to know about the effect of capital source and management guidance towards cooperative performance in Pekanbaru. The method of this research using quantitative-descriptive reasearch method. The population has amount of 830 cooperations and 89 samples of cooperation. Data collection instrument is enquette with Likert scale for independent variable : Capital Factor (X1) and Management Guidance (X2), for dependent variable using document : Cooperative Performance (Y). Data Analysis Technique is statistic which is used by doubled-linear regression. From the result, is to conclude that : (1) capital resource and management performance effects the cooperative management performance in Pekanbaru; (2) The effect factors of capital leverage and management guidance towards cooperation’s management performance in the amount of 50,8% in Pekanbar;. (3) The measurement of cooperation’s performance in Pekanbaru using Development Ladder Assessment (DLA) has yellow zone criteria which means it has been satisfied and still needing the follow-up action to improve cooperation’s performance mainly to the cooperation’s resources.Keywords : Capital Resource, Management Guidance, Cooperative Performance.

Abstract
