Abstract

ABSTRACT, The background of the problem in this study originated from the observation while in SMPS Wahidin Bangko, researchers found that many students were not excited when the learning because it is suspected of being owned nutritional status of students. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine how the nutritional status of students SMPS Wahidin Bangko. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. This study describes clearly how where the nutritional status of students SMPS Wahidin Bangko. In accordance with the findings of a problem at a school in the district of Bangko on nutritional status of students. The research data was obtained from measurements of height and weight of students. The sample in this study was the students of class VII numbering 39 people (total sampling). Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: It was found that nutritional status is processed through BB / U of overall VII.I grade students who are 39 students were having Good Nutrition as many as 20 people with a percentage of 51.82%, the students who has satatus Nutrition Medium as many as 13 with the percentage 33.33%, students have much less Nutrient satatus 6 with a percentage of 15.38%, while students malnourished nothing. The average score of the assessment of the nutritional staus seventh grade students is 10 with a percentage of 25.64%. Therefore, based on the average score of the overall nutritional status of students SMPS Wahidin District of Bangko Bangko categorized Less Good.Keywords : Observation, Nutrition Status

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental research aimed to find out whether there is a significant effect of Mind Mapping Strategy on the writing descriptive text ability of the second year students of SMPN 01 Kampar Utara in the Academic Year 2016/2017. This research used one group pre-test and post-test design with six treatment meetings. The instrument used in this research was writing tests (pre-test and post-test). The population of this research was 103 eighth grade students of SMPN 01 Kampar Utara and the sample was class VIII A (25) students of SMPN 01 Kampar Utara. The data of this research were collected by writing tests of descriptive text. The data were analyzed using t-test formula. The results showed that the mean score of pre-test was 53.27, and the mean score of post-test was 70.1. Based on the data analysis, there was an increase the students’ averange score for pre-test (53.27) to post-test (70.1). Moreover from t-test, it was found that the t-obs (27.641 ) was higher than t-table (2.064). Therefore, the alternative hypothesis of this research was accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. This also means that teaching writing by using Mind Mapping Strategy was effective to improve the ability of students in writing Descriptive text.Key Words: Writing ability, mind mapping, descriptive text

Abstract

Abstract: Research it is based on the state of the study of organization seen of the aspects of important from the organisation. Because important aspects of the organization is characteristic the base that must be is used to the development of the study of organization PKBM (Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat) In The City Dumai. Formulation problems research is whether the study of organization In The City Dumai in good?. The purpose of this research is to find the study of organization PKBM (Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat) In The City Dumai in good. Population in this study some 63 people. Then the researcher determine samples from 39 people to research and 20 people for testing somewhere else, with using a technique simple random sampling. An instrument data collection that is chief to 60 a statement and if the trial live 52 a statement valid for in made instrument research .Data analysis through descriptive analysis quantitative .The outcome of research on three indicators a conclusion can be drawn that study on organizations PKBM (Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat) In The City Dumai in good, With the average (the ss+s) 84 %. It means management PKBM run the study of organization, that activities in PKBM run smoothly. Seen from 3 indicators can be concluded that the division and a working relationship were very good, because management PKBM maintain the between her fellow employees , that the activities carried out by going well.Key Words: Study, the study of organization PKBM (Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat)

Abstract

Abstract : Minangkabau ethnic group also know as Minang is ethnic group that inhabit at west Sumatera regency. Basically, there are peculiarities that distinguish Minangkabau tribe with the other Indonesian traditional tribe. The peculiarities that exist because Minang use Matrilineal kinship system. Matrilineal kinship system based on Matrilineal society where the acceptance of inheritance given to women. One of the kinship system is known as relationship between mamak with kamanakan and also the tradition of Minangkabau Custom Speech. In men society have dual functionality, the first one is as mamak for nephew at parent’s home who play an important role in guiding the kamanakan. Secondly, as urang sumando at wife home and father of their childrens. The purposes of this research are: 1) Kinship systems in Minangkabau, 2) The role of mamak in motivating kamanakan to learn Minangkabau custom speech in Kanagarian Salimpat districts of Lembah Gumanti Solok regency. 3) Inhibiting kamanakan factor in studying Minangkabau custom speech in Kanagarian Salimpat districts of Lembah Gumanti Solok regency. 4) The impact when kamanakan as supporters generation less motivated in studying Minangkabau custom speech in Kanagarian Salimpat districts of Lembah Gumanti Solok regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approaches and quantitative aporoaches. Data collection techniques are observations, interviews, questionnaires, literature reviews and documentations. The results of this study indicate that there is Mamak Role in Motivating Kamanakan to learn Minangkabau custom speech in Kanagarian Salimpat districts of Lembah Gumanti Solok regency.Keywords: The Role, Mamak, Kamanakan, Minangkabau Custom Speech

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of reaction rate. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the concept hierarchy. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 86.88%, 91.25%, 81.25% and 85.93%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the problem solving subject of salt hydrolysis is 90% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of student or collegian is 93% to LKPD with positive criteria.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Concept Hierarchy, and Reaction Rate

Abstract

Abstract : After the proclamation, the Dutch returned to Indonesia by piggybacking on allied forces. The Netherlands intends to re-colonize Indonesia by means other political. The implementation of the Round Table Conference officially mark the founding of the Republic of Indonesia states (RIS) that on December 27, 1949. The purpose of this study were (1) To know the events behind the founding of the Republic of Indonesia States (RIS) (2) To know the condition of government of the Republic of Indonesia states (RIS) (3) To know the end of the Republic of Indonesia states (RIS) to return to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). In this study using methods of historical research. Results from this study is there are some events and happenings behind the founding of the Republic of Indonesia states (RIS) as the Malino Conference, Linggajati, Renville Agreement, Roem-Royen, Inter-Indonesia Conference and the Round Table Conference. At the time of the founding of the Republic of Indonesia States (RIS) so much chaos and upheaval that resulted in the failure of RIS, such as political uprising conducted by Westerling, Andi Azis, and Soumokil. In the economic sector, Indonesia must bear the burden of paying the debt the Dutch East Indies. In the field of military, TNI and the former Colonial Army troops joined the Armed Forces RIS (APRIS). In the field of culture, Indonesia and the Netherlands agreed to establish cooperation such as the exchange of teaching staff and maintenance along cultural objects. In the social field, Indonesia received and ensure employees of Dutch citizen to remain in Indonesia. People of Indonesia considers that the RIS government failed to run the government, so that arose turmoil in various regions carried out by people who are not satisfied and asked back to the Unitary State. Finally, RIS and RI government talks to discuss the re-establishment of the Unitary State. On August 17, 1950 set back the establishment of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) with the constitution Constitution Temporary (Provisional Constitution).Key Words: History, RIS, NKRI

Abstract

Abstract : Based on preliminary observations conducted on students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru encountered phenomenon of gadget use among students has reached 90%, this has been troubling parents because many students are busy with gadgets so less time off and lack of communication with people around. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of gadget, and to know the picture of self-adaptation of students. The type of research used in this study is the type of descriptive quantitative research. Based on the results of the research, the use of gadgets in terms of duration of the use of gadgets most often use gadgets more than 10 hours a day, from the aspect of the purpose of use of gadgets most often use gadgets for shopping online, the influence of gadgets on the physical most often experienced by students is back pain due too long to bow. Adjustment in terms of the ability to control the highest emotional highs is able to express a sense of happiness in front of a friend. The aspect of overcoming the psychological mechanism is to tell the truth. Aspects are able to overcome frustration, avoid saying harshly. Rational and self-directed consideration is to ask a friend when he finds a difficult problem. The aspect of having the highest learning ability is to collect tasks on time. The aspect of making use of the experience of the past of the highest is preparing future plans and on the aspect of being objective and realistic the highest is being able to overcome limitations.Keywords: Gadget Use, Self-Adjustment

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to increase the result of learning mathematics on V-A grade student of SDN 161 Pekanbaru through application cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments type. The main question in this research is can application of cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments type improve the result of studying mathematics of V-A grade SDN 161 Pekanbaru students?”. Hypothesis of this research is : if applying cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments type can increase learning outcome. This research consist of three cycles. Percentage of teacher’s activities in cycle I was 89,32% (very good chategory), in cycle II was 92,12% (very good chategory), in cycle III was 96,89% (very good chategory). Percentage of student’s activities in cycle I was 86,52% (very good chategory), in cycle II was 89,32% (very good chategory), in cycle III was 96,90% (very good chategory). Based on analysis data and discussion of the research the mean score of student’s learning outcome was increased. The mean of student’s outcome from 49,10 in cycle I was 63,28, in cycle II increased to 77,51, in cycle III increased to 84,44. From that data is can be coucluded that the application of cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments type can increase the result of studying mathematics of V-A grade students in SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Model, Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournaments type, Mathematics achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes IPS Class IV Elementary School 009 Binio Jaya with the application model Think Pair Share (TPS) in the academic year 2014/2015. The subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 009 Binio Jaya totaling 30 people. The students consisted of 12 male students and 18 female students. This study is a Class Action Research (Classroom Actions Research) which comprises two cycles. Based on the results of research and data analysis known that the activity of teachers increased in the first cycle to the meeting-1 activity teachers acquire 68,89% success with sufficient criteria. In the first cycle of the 2nd meeting of the success of the activity of teachers is 80% with good criteria. In the second cycle to-one meetings to acquire 87.78% success criteria very well. In the second cycle of the 2nd meeting increased to 88.89% with excellent qualifications. Meanwhile, the activities of students in the first cycle-1 meetings to obtain a 67.78% success. In the first cycle of the 2nd meeting of success increased to 71.11%. Implementation of the second cycle-1 meetings to be 77.78% with good qualifications. In the second cycle of the 2nd meeting increased 91.11% with excellent qualifications. In addition, student learning outcomes before implementation of cooperative learning model TPS is 61.67 with sufficient number of qualified students who complete 13 people (43.33%). At UH 1 first cycle increased to 66.67 (8.11%) the number of students who completed 17 people (56.67%). At UH 2 second cycle increased as much as the average value to 83.5 (25.24%) who completed the number of 30 people (100%). It can be concluded that cooperative learning model TPS can improve student learning outcomes IPS fourth grade N 009 Binio Jaya.Keywords : Cooperative Learning Model TPS, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study discusses politeness imperative utterances of teachers in the learning process in primary schools 173 Pekanbaru based on the mode that is kind of imperative sentences. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims to describe politeness imperative utterances of teachers in the learning process. This research subject a fifth grade teacher Sokolah base 173 Pekanbaru. This research uses verbal data type that originates in direct speech teacher while teaching. This study uses the technique of recording and record then classified based on the type of imperative sentence kesantunannya then analyzed based on the principle of modesty and scale kesantuanan then formulated into a knot. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the conclusion that the speech of the teacher based on types of sentences impertaif the imperative sentence request, invitation, ordinary, prohibitions, licensing. The sentence is not a lot of manners based on the principle of modesty and politeness scale.Key words: politeness imperative, imperative sentence, the teacher.
