Abstract

Abstract: The research is based on the low learning outcomes of IPA students of grade III SDN 003 Bangkinang Kota. This is due to the the teacher’s central learning. For learning IPA the inquiry learning model is a suitable model to use. The inquiry model makes learning student centered so as to emphasize student activity to find out for themselves the answer to what is being questioned. This study aims to determine the imporvement of IPA learning outcomes of students by implementation use inquiry model. Method this research is Quasi Eksperiment Nonequivalent Grup Pretest-postest Design. This study was conduted on 54 subjects of primary school students’ in SDN 003 Bangkinang. The results this research was improving learning outcomes students after implementation inquiry model. Based on the results of research obtained learning outcomes of IPA students who learn with inquiry learning model better and higher than on learning with conventional model. Seen from the value of the gain index in the experimental class of 0,52 which is the medium category, while the value of gain index in conventional class is 0,19 which is low kategory. This suggest that the inquiry model can improve the learning outcomes of IPA on the Primary School Students.Keyword: Inquiry model, learning outcomes of IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of outbound activity towards gross motor skill of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru. The method of this research used experimental method with using one group pre-test post-test design. The samples used in this study were 15 students. The data collection technique used is observation. Technique of data analysis used t-test by using program of SPSS 20. The research hypothesis was to find the influence of outbound activity towards gross motor skill of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru. Based on data analysis was known that tcalculated = 13,315 > ttable = 2,145 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because Sig < 0,05 it can be concluded that there is difference of gross motor skill that was be done before and after the activity of outbond. It can be interpreted that there is influence of activity towards gross motor skill of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru significant that is equal to 57,22%. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the influence of peer environment on learning motivation in the subjects of social studies students of Class VII SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru. The population in this study are students of class VII SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru that is as many as 211 students and sample of 68 students. Data collection using questionnaire technique. The data analysis used is simple linear regression. The results showed that the peer environment had an effect on the students' learning motivation in the IPS Subject in Class VII of SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru, the influence was 0.668. Judging from the calculation of R2 (R Square Change) obtained a value of 0.281, meaning that the contribution of peer environment to student learning motivation of 28.1%.Keyword : Peer Environment, Leraning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the observation of the authors on O2SN students of ANNUR Junior High School Pekanbaru, the authors found some problems in the O2SN athletes of SMP ANNUR Pekanbaru City showed that the result of the short 100 meter sprint obtained by the students is still not good, it may be due to the physical condition of the less trained students to move quickly. This study aims to determine the Relationship of Limb Muscle Power to Running Short Distance 100 Meter Student Son O2SN SMP ANNUR Pekanbaru City. The sample of this research is O2SN Student of Junior High School ANNUR Pekanbaru City which is 7 people. The sampling technique was taken by (total sampling) or sampling technique in full of O2SN Student of Junior High School ANNUR Pekanbaru City which amounted to 7 people. Result of correlation of O2SN Student Student of Junior High School of ANNUR Pekanbaru City where analysis between Limb Muscle Power (X1) with 100 meter Short Run Distance where rtab at significant level α (0,05) = 0,811, mean rhitung (0,944)> rtab (0,811). meaning the hypothesis is accepted and there is a strong relationship between Limb Muscle Power with Running Distance Short 100 meters Student Son O2SN SMP ANNUR Pekanbaru City.Keywords: Limb Muscle Power, Running Short Distance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study used leg muscle strength with accuracy of volley ball smash on students of man extracurricular volley ball MAN 1 Muara Fajar Pekanbaru. The goal is to find out how much muscle strength with the accuracy of volley ball smash on students son extracurricular volley ball MAN 1 Muara Fajar Pekanbaru. This research technique using total sampling technique with sample number 12 student. This form of research is free. Instruments that are vertical jump and volley ball smash test. Then, the test data using the normality test, the product test of noble moments, test significant α = 0.05. Normality test of variable X, L0max (0,1839) <Ltable (0,242), and test of normality of variable Y, L0max (0,1517) <Ltable (0,242) in other words 95% confidence level normal data and research conclusion show: significant relationship between leg muscle strength relationship with volley ball smash accuracy, with general r = 0.6439 where rcount > rtable or 0.6439> 0.602. And relationships are strongly categorized. Thus, Ha is accepted.Keywords: Leg Muscle Strength, volley ball Smash

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of student achievement by applying predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) learning strategy to improve student’s of colloid in class XI MIA MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The study was an experiment with randomized control group pretest-posttest. The sample in this research is class XI MIA 2 as experiment class which is determined randomly after normality test and homogeneity test. The experimental class is treated with the implementation of predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) learning strategy. Data analysis for hypothesis testing is done using right-t test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained tcount = 2,16 and ttable = 1,67 with = 0,05, dk = 57. tcount > ttable is 2,16 > 1,67 means the implementation of predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) learning strategy can improve student learning achievement on colloid subject at class XI MIA MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.Keywords : Predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) learning strategy, Learning achievement, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying Discovery Learning model. The subject of this research were the students in the class VIII3 of SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu that consist of 22 boys and 19 girls at the second semester of academic year 2017/2018. Instruments on this reserach constisted of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets, and instruments of data collection which is observation sheets and the test result sheets. The function of observation sheet is to obtain data from the learning process, while the function of results sheet of the mathematics learning tests is to obtain the results of the study. The descriptive of observation sheets and students’ mathematic tests showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the students’ achievement of learning mathematic. On the knowledge competence, from the basic score with percentage 41,46% experience improvement in Cycle I with percentage 65,85% and 78,05% in Cycle II. On the skills competence, the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning from Cycle I with percentage 73,17% improve to 87,81% in cycle II. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model can improve the learning achievement of the second semester students of class VIII3 of SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu in the second semester academic year 2017/2018.Keywords: Students’ Math Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract : This is a descriptive qualitative research which is aimed at finding out the speaking ability of the second year students of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research is obtained by using cluster random sampling. The intrument of the test is in the form of monologue. The students’ speaking scores are measured by three raters. After being measured, the data are analyzed by the writer. The result findings show that the mean score of the second year students’ speaking ability of is 53,7 which is categorized into mediocre level. The highest score is in terms of grammar and the lowest score is in terms of fluency.Key Words : Speaking, Ability, Speaking Ability

Abstract

Abstract : Classroom Action Research has been conducted consisting of two cycles. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of science students of class VII SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru with the integration of character and science literacy in science learning. Research starts from the planning stage, the implementation of the action, the observation stage and the last was done reflection to analyze the deficiencies that occur in the learning activities in order to improve the learning activities in the next cycle. This research was conducted from March to May 2018. The subjects of this study were the students of class VII1 semester of which amounted to 40 students, consisting of 18 male students and 22 female students. Parameters in the study were student learning outcomes consisting of affective apsek, psikomotor and cognitive aspects that consist of students' absorption and mastery of student learning. The results showed the students' learning outcomes increased. On the affective aspect increased from 3.01 (B) in cycle I to 3.08 (B) in cycle II. Psychomotor aspect increased from 78.70 (C) in cycle I to 84.58 with (C) in cycle II. The average score of cognitive aspects of students is 79.87 (C) in cycle I and increased to 81.02 (C) in cycle II. Student learning mastery in cycle I is 72.5% and increased to 85% in cycle II. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that by integrating the character and science literacy in science learning can improve student learning outcomes of class VII1 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Character, Science Literacy, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This study was aimed to determine the enhancement of student learning result in physics by the aplication of scaffolding learning strategy. The type of reseach which was used was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was the students of XI IPA class at MAN 1 INHIL academic year 2017/2018 which consisted of 123 student divided in four classes. The sample in this study was obtained based on the normality and homogenity tests. When all of classes were proved to be normal and homogenous, two classes were chosen randomly to be the experiment class and control class. The instrument which was use to collect the data was a test of learning result as pretest and posttest. The data was analize by the descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis showed the avarage absorption level in experimen class was 80,22 % and 70,22 % for control class, both were in good category. Based on the inferential analysis, it can be concluded that the application of scaffolding learning strategy can enhance students’ study result at XI IPA 1 class of MAN I INHIL on sound and light waves material.Keywords : Scaffolding learning strategy, study result, sound and light waves.
