Abstract

Abstract: Misuse of capital letters, forecasts, and punctuation is a very important thing to note as it relates to the meaning and message to be conveyed to the reader. At Siak Siak Police Station Siak Sri Indrapura there is a misuse of punctuation, foreword, and punctuation. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of capital letters, foreclosures and punctuation in the official service in Siak Police Siak Si Indrapura Regency. Data collection techniques using descriptive method to illustrate the use of capital letters, forecasts, and the use of punctuation in the official service in Siak District Police Station Siak Sri Indrapura Regency. Based on the research, the authors found 67 misuse of capitalization, 17 front-word errors, and 68 punctuation errors.Keywords: capital letters, forecasts, and punctuation.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the game of dominoes towards the ability to know the concept of number of children aged 5-6 years in TK Darussalamah in sub district Tapung district of Kampar. The research used experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design. The sample used in this study were 15 students. The data collection technique used is observation. Technique of data analysis using t-test test by using program of SPSS 20. Research hypothesis that there is the effect of the game of dominoes towards the ability to know the concept of number of children aged 5-6 years in TK Darussalamah in sub district Tapung district of Kampar. Based on data analysis known tcalculated = 23,883 > ttable = 2,145 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because Sig <0,05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the ability to recognize the concept of numbers before and after the domines game. It can be interpreted that there is the effect of the game of dominoes towards the ability to know the concept of number of children aged 5-6 years in TK Darussalamah in sub district Tapung district of Kampar significant as much as 61.25%.Keyword: Ability to know the concept of numbers, Game of dominoes

Abstract

Abstract : The imperative sentence can range from having to do something until the prohibition to do something. The imperative sentences contained in the Batak Toba language can range from very harsh or rough errands to very subtle or polite requests. Thus it can be said that the imperative sentences in Batak Toba language are complex and varied. Based on the formulation of the problem, this study aims to describe the form and meaning of imperative speech in traditional ceremonies of Batak Toba death. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis is done by identifying data based on the form and meaning of imperative speech, classifying each data that has been identified based on the form and meaning of imperative speech, describing the data that has been classified, the interpretation of conclusion, which is concluding from the data that have been obtained since the beginning until the end of the study. The results of the study found that: (1) There are only five forms of imperative speech, namely: ordinary imperative, demand imperative, permit imperative, imperative invitation, and imperative of the order is in the Toba Batak Toba (2) Traditional Ceremony Of four meanings of imperative speech, two meanings of speech that is meaningful madness and meaningful hope. Whereas the two meanings of other imperative speeches are: meaningful messenger and meaningful prohibition, not found.Key words: Imperative, Batak Toba Language

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was conducted to find out if there is the effect of front cone hops exercise method on limb muscle power on on boy teen athlete pencak silat walet puti pekanbaru. Type of research used is experiment and using one grup preetest-posttest design. Population this research is boy teen athlete pencak silat Walet Puti Pekanbaru is the entire populations of 10 peoples. While the sample technique used is total sampling (saturated sample) where all the population is sampled. The sample in this amounted to 10 peoples of boy teenathlete pencak silat Walet Puti Pekanbaru. The instrument used standing broad jump. After that, the data is processed with statistics, normality test with liliefors test at significance level (0.05). The hypothesis is The Effect Of Front Cone Hops Exercise Method on the power of limb Muscle on boy teen athlete pencak silat Walet Puti Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis of statistical data, there are an average pre-test 211,5 and an average post-test 222,9, then the data is normal with an increase of 7,4 . Based on t test analysis produces thitung = 8,41 > ttabel = 1,83. Meaning thitung > ttabel. Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase student mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research was student of class X.1 Farmasi SMK Kesehatan Pro-Skill Indonesia Pekanbaru in second academic years 2017/2018, which are 30 students, consist of four boys and 26 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research is observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets was analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis technique, and the students mathematic tests was analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to UH-I and UH-II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (26,67%) to the first UH-I (56,67%) to the UH-II (93,33%) thus it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class X.I Farmasi SMK Kesehatan Pro-Skill Indonesia Pekanbaru in second academic years 2017/2018 for the linear program.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on the low motivation of student learning, has a low courtesy still often ignores the students reprimands and advice from teachers, such as when going to praying Dhuhur together in school, students like to interfere with friends when performing ablutions, when reprimanded by teachers many still do not care. Students are still cool to play and interfere with friends when performing ablution. This research type is descriptive research. Subjects in this study are 24 students of the spirit members who perform tahajud prayers more than three times a week. Data processing that has been done by researchers can be concluded that the emotional intelligence of students who perform tahajud prayers more than three times a week are in high category. Emotional intelligence of students who perform tahajud prayers based on the highest indicators include: empathy, self-awareness, and self-motivation.Key Word: Emotional Intelligent, Tahajud Pray

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to know the physical cognitive learning outcomes by implementing probing prompting model. The research is done in SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. The research used a quasi-experiment using intact group comparison research plan. Population of this experiment was the sophomore of science class of the high school. The sample was taken from 2 classes that consist of a control class and an experiment class. Data collecting was done by cognitive learning outcomes test after implementing probing prompting model to the experiment class and conventional model to the control class. Data analysis was done descriptively and the result is showing the student on the experiment class could absorb 80.63% of the teaching and the student on the conventional class only 75.88%. The conclusion is by implementing probing prompting model could increase the cognitive learning outcomes of the student specifically on optics subject.Keywords : Probing Prompting, cognitive study result, descriptive analysis

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning cooperative approach Think Pair Square (TPS) model. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The subject of this research is student of class VIIA SMPN 2 XIII Koto Kampar in academic years 2017/2018, which amounted to 28 students, consist of 15 boys and 13 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematicsabout knowledge of the basic score (10,7%)to the first test (53,57%) to the second test II (67,86%). For the skills of basic score the first test (54%) to the second test (67%), Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning cooperative approach Think Pair Square (TPS) model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIIA SMPN 2 XIII Koto Kampar in academic years 2017/2018 for the subject matter Social Arithmetic.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Learning Cooprative Approach Think Pair Square(TPS)

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the relationship between Attachment with self confidence kids 4-6 years at Tunas Karya kinderganten District Kampar. This type of corelation. Sampling tools using sampling tecninique saturated sampling that amounted to 40 children. Data collections in this research is primary data, using observatio sheet. The results obtained from this study note that the relationship attachment with self confidence kids 4-6 years at Tunas Karya Kindergarten district Bangkinang Kampar regency is in the category of being. Based on chi square corelations value between attachment with self confidence obtained value 0,033 or <0,05. Because probability value <0,05 (0,033<0,05) hence Ho rejected thus can be interpreted that there is significant relation between both variables. While this diraction of the relationship is positive, meaning the better the attachment of the child the better the confidence of the child. Result of research from coefficient value determinant that yielded is KD =r2x100%= 0,4562x 100%= 20,79 % hence can be seen that attachment correlation equal to 20,79 % to confedence. To find out how significant attachment to be confidence of children obtained the value of tarithmetic amounted to 10,476 with a significance of 0,033 obtained ttable of value 9,488 with dk= n-2 = 40-2 =38 at 5% significance level equal to 9,488 thus known tcount (10,476)> ttable (9,488). Can be interpreted that attachment affects the confidence of children. Which means the better the attachment of the child the better his self-confidence.Keyword: Attachment, Confidence, children

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at finding out the effect of role-play activity on students’ speaking ability of the first year science students of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru academic year 2017/2018. The total of the population of the first year science students at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru is 323 students. This number of the students is large enough to be taken as the sample, it is selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The selected sample was 10 science students 4 which consist of 36 students. The instrument of this research is speaking test form focusing on the oral narrative text. The test used role-play activity for both pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed by using five components of speaking as inferred by Brown (2004). They are pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The results show that the mean score of the speaking test of the first year students in pre-test is 68,86 while in post-test is 74,25. The highest score in pre-test is 54,17 for pronunciation while the lowest score is 48,19 for grammar. The highest score in post-test is 57,5 for comprehension and the lowest score is 53,89 for vocabulary. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of role-play activity on the first year science students’ speaking ability. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research, “There is an effect of role-play activity on the speaking ability of the first year science students at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru ” is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. It can be inferred that teaching speaking by using role play activity as one of the alternative speaking activities has an effect on the students’ speaking ability.Keyword: Role Play, Speaking Ability
