Abstract

Abstract : Aims of this study is to find the learning result of students' formal thinking ability by applying cooperative learning model with course review horay type on momentum and impulse material in class X SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. This research was a quasi experimental research with non-Equivalent control group design. The population of this study was the students of class X MIA and the sample was the students X MIA 3 as the experimental class and the students of X MIA 2 as the control class. Data were obtained and cunducted through the test of the learning outcomes of formal thinking skills before and after applying course review horay model in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Data analysis of this research was appliying a descriptive and inferential method. The results shows that the average score of absorption rate in the pretest of the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class and conventional class is 39.54% and 40.46% with category of less effective. The average absorption rate in the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class of posttest score and conventional class is 70.11% in effective category and 51.49% in quite effective category. The increase of students' formal thinking ability (N-Gain) in the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class is 0.5 in the medium category and the conventional class is 0.17 in low category. T- Test tested obtained p = 0.000 it means p <0.05, then Ho is rejected which means there is a significant difference between the learning result of students' formal thinking ability physics by applying cooperative learning model with Course Review Horay type if compared than conventional learning on the material momentum and impulse at class X MIA SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. It can be concluded that the application of course review horay model can be used as an alternative in the learning process in class X MIA SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. Abstract

Abstract: this research aimed to increase students learning outcomes by application of learning model probing-prompting subject of buffer solution in class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research is an experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research are class XI MIPA 3 as experiment class and XI MIPA 5 as control class which is determined randomly after the normality test and homogeneity test. The experiment class was treated with the application of learning model probing-prompting while the control class without the application of learning model probing-prompting. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained tcount=1,71 and ttable=1,66 with α=0,05 ,dk= 77. Tcount>ttable is 1,71>1,66, its mean that the application of learning model probing-prompting can improve students learning outcomes subject of buffer solution in class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Word: Learning Outcomes, Probing-Prompting, Buffer Solution

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon that occurs in the field shows the much of students who play online games. Online games can make a person become addicted. Students who play online games tend to have aggressive behavior such as rude said. The purpose of this research are: 1) to know the description of the students who are addicted to online game, and 2) to know the description of aggressive behavior of students who are addicted to online game. The population of this study are students of class VII consisting of 7 classes. A sample of 65 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire which is then analyzed by grouping the data and calculating the percentage. The results of this study indicate the duration of addiction time online game is for 3-4 hours a day and ignore to other activity; where online game play is generally done is at home; the types of online games favored by students are Mobile Legends (ML) and Defense of the Ancients (DotA) 2; students who are addicted to online games have health problems like eye pain; psychological conditions experienced by students easily irritated; from the aspect of student learning constantly think of online games during learning; from the social adjustment aspects students ignore others. Whereas the aggressive behavior of students who are addicted to online games including physical aggression are exposed through a tendency to hit if hit by someone then it will retaliate with a harder blow; and commonly performed verbal aggression is to threaten by issuing harsh wordKeywords: Addiction of online games, Aggressive behavior

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research is still often mistakes in the use of capital letters in class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. In fact, in class III semester I have been taught about the rules of the use of capital letters. Such errors often occur in student writing. Even the students seem to be accustomed to writing without regard to the use of capital letters The purpose of this study is to know and describe the ability of grade V students in the use of capital letters in SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. The type of research used in this study is descriptive quantitative. Descriptive research is a study that attempts to describe a phenomenon, events, events that occur in the present moment. This research was conducted in the odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 on 13-15 December 2017. Sampling in this study using sampling technique in the form of census (Sampling saturated). The sample in this research is the entire class V in SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru which amounted to 85 students. The data collection instrument used is a matter of multiple choice test. The results showed that the ability of students in the use of capital letters in SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru as a whole indicators fall into the category of less able When viewed per indicator, there are 7 indicators that fall into the category of less able and as many as 5 indicators that fall into the category quite capable.Keywords : The Use of Capital Letters

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study discusses the language politeness of Class XI Teachers at Senior High School 1 Lirik in teaching and learning process. This study also discusses the compliance andviolation of politeness principles according to of Leech's politeness principle. Politeness principle is divided into six maxims. The obedience and violation of the principle of politeness is taken from the teacher's speech during teaching and learning process. The compliance and violation of the principle of language courtesy found in the study consisted of the maxims of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of praise, the maxim of humility, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of conclusions. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims to describe the teacher's speech in the process of learning in the classroom. The results of this study in the form of description of the teacher's speech based on compliance and violation of the principle of language politeness.Keywords: Speech Language, politeness maxims, teacher’s utterances

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the influence of Tor-tor Hata Sopisik against the psychomotor skills of children aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi Setda Province Pekanbaru City Kindergarten. The research used experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design design. The samples used in this study were 15 students. The data collection technique used is observation. Technique of data analysis using t-test testing by using program of SPSS 16.0 The research hypothesis that there is influence of activity of Tor-tor Hata Sopisik to psychomotor ability child aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi Setda Province Pekanbaru City Kindergarten. Based on data analysis known tarithmetic = 13,485> ttable = 2,145 withSig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because of Sig <0,05 it can be concluded that there is a difference of psychomotor ability before and after dance Tor-tor Hata Sopisik. It can be interpreted that there is influence Tor-tor hata sopisik to psychomotor skills of children aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi Setda Province Pekanbaru City Kindergarten significant that is equal to 22.66%.Keyword: The Ability of Psychomotor, The Activity of Tor-tor Hata Sopisik

Abstract

Abstract: Behavior addiction watching Korean drama is an overreaction that arises from one's self towards Korean art. The phenomenon that occurs among students is the students who use the Korean language during the learning process, during the spare time students use to watch Korean drama, some students invite teachers to use Korean language and students collect accessories related to korea. The purpose of this research is to know the description of behavior of student addiction level about drama korea and to know picture of student character value. This research uses quantitative method with descriptive approach. The sample in this study were 105 students of class X and class XI consisting of male and female students. The results of this study indicate that the addiction to watching Korean dramas is at the low category level (71%). Someone said to be addicted to watching Korean dramas can be seen in the behavior of salience, mood modification, conflict, tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, and relapse. The student character score in this study was at the good category level (77%). Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of the use of learning resources on student learning outcomes on the subjects of economy class XI in SMAN 1 Minas Siak district. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Minas Siak district. The population of this study is the students of class XI Year Teaching 2017/ 2018 which amounted to 151 people. Sample taken by simple random sampling method. The sample size is 60 people. Data analysis technique used is simple regression. The results of this study indicate that: the use of learning resources influence on student learning outcomes on the subjects of economy class XI in SMAN 1 Minas Siak ditrict.Key Words : Learning Resources, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This study is aims at describe learning outcomes student process skills through application starter experiment approach on the subject matter of Newton's law in class VIII Junior High School Satu Atap Tambang. Subjects numbered 33 student of class VIII Junior High School Satu Atap Tambang consisting of 15 male and 18 female. This research is a form of pre-experimental design the one-shot case study. The research instrument used in the form of process skill achievement test. Results learning process skills studied cover the aspects of skill to experiment, observe the skills, the skills of hypothesis, concluding skills and skills acquired implementing the concept. The results showed an average result of learning skills of the students 73.42% in both categories. Thus, the implementation of Starter Experiment Approach effectiveapplied to practice the skills of the class VIII Junior High School Satu Atap Tambang.Keywords : Starter Experiment Approach, process skills, Newton's Law.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on mathematics learning achievement on Circle topic of students VIII.2 of Junior High School 8 Pekanbaru which shows that 28 of 40 students still have scores which stand under KKM that has been settled by the school that is 78. This research aims to improve learning process and students’ mathematics learning achievement by applying Discovery Learning (DL) model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments and data collecting instruments. The mathematical learning instruments are Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Activity Sheets. The data collecting instruments are Observation Sheets and Students Mathematic Tests. Analysis techniques that used are descriptive narrative on qualitative data and descriptive statistics on quantitative data. Subject of this research are students of VIII.2 Junior High School 8 Pekanbaru in second semester of academic year 2017/2018, which consist of 16 males and 24 females with heterogeneous abilities. Based on the analysis of students and teacher activities after implementation of the DL model, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of learning process. On knowledge competence, in Cycle I with percentage 37,5% and 42,5% in Cycle II. On skill competence, the number of students who can reach KKM in Cycle I with percentage 62,5% and 67,5% in Cycle II. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the implementation of DL model can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning outcomes at class VIII.2 of Junior High School 8 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Mathematics Learning Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Classroom Action Research
