Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce comic books as a media for science learning in global warming material for seventh class. The comic development process was carried out in the Biology Education Study Program of Riau University and limited trials were conducted at SMP IT FIS Pekanbaru. The time of study was July up to November 2018. The development model used the ADDIE model until the development stage. The research subjects in the research that will be developed are KD 3.9; Analyzing climate change and its impact on the ecosystem in this study which was consisted of 3 meetings. The instruments were validation sheets, response questionnaires and comic products that have been developed. Data collection was carried out by filling out a validation sheet by 5 validators (3 Biology Education lecturers and 2 middle school science teachers). The limited trial I was carried out to 10 students of 7th semester Biology Education in the Biology Education Study Program. Based on suggestions from respondents, the results of the trial I, the researchers made a revision. After the revision, a limited trial II was conducted which was carried out for 20 seventh grade students of SMP IT FIS Pekanbaru. The results of the average comic validation scores that have been developed are simplicity aspects 3.43, emphasis aspects 3.70, balance aspects 3.60, integration aspects 3.30, and comic design aspects 3.69. The average score of the validation results from the five aspects is 3.54 with a very valid category. The response of trial users 1 was 93.33% with a very good category and the response of users to trial 2 was 95.41% with a very good category. Based on the results of validation and trials, it can be concluded that the quality of comic books for junior high school students is very valid and it can be implemented, appropriate for students to be use as a source of learning, and as references for junior high school science teachers. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to know whether there is a relation between psychological well-being andthe resilience of PAUD teachers in Tampan District, Pekanbaru. The population in this study were PAUD teachers in Tampan Subdistrict, Pekanbaru, amounting to 76 teachers, this sample was used as many as 20 PAUD teachers taken using simple random sampling technique. The method used is Product Moment correlation to see the relationship between variables of psychological well-being and resilience of PAUD teachers. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires in the form of a likert scale. The data analysis technique uses scale trials and statistical method analysis with the SPSS program for Windows Ver. 25. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained there is a positive and significant relationship between psychological well-being and resilience of PAUD teachers in Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient of rxy => 0.558 and a significant level of 0,000 <0.05. The level of relationship between psychological well-being and resilience of PAUD teachers is included in the strong category with a determinant coefficient value of 31.2%, meaning that PAUD teachers on psychological well-being have an effect of 31.2% on resilience.Key Words: Psychological Well-being, Resilience, Reaching out.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the barriers of implementation learning and its relationship with learning motivation and students cognitive learning outcomes on learning across the biology interest of class X IIS SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in May-June 2018. The sample in this study amounted to 59 students determined based on purposive sampling techniques. The instrument consisted of barrier implementation of learning questionnaires, student learning motivation questionnaires and documentation of cognitive learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using the correlation test product moment at the level of 5%, test of determination, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of learning biology across the interests of class X IIS students of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru an average of 2.85 with criteria experiencing obstacles; then there is a significant relationship between the barriers to the implementation of learning with learning motivation of 0.477 with the medium category and obtained the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.228 and there is a significant relationship between the barriers to the implementation of learning with cognitive learning outcomes of 0.406 with the medium category and obtained the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.165. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of biology learning across the interests of class X IIS SMAN 4 Pekanbaru has criteria for obstacles, there is a moderate relationship between the barriers to the implementation of learning with learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes.Key Words: Barriers, Cognitive Learning Outcomes, cross biological interest , Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to find out the description of the motivation of the state senior high school women’s volley ball team to face O2SN 2017. This type of research is descriptive research using the survey method and collecting information or data using a questionnaire. The population in this study was all volley ball team senior high school 14 pekanbaru a total of 12 athletes. This sampling technique is based on the total sampling technique. The sample used in this study was the women’s volley ball team senior high school 14 pekanbaru with a total of 12 athletes. Based on the results of the study, was obtained the percentage value of the indicators of trainers= 89.08%, headmaster= 83,33%, facilities = 84.08%, parents = 91.92% and the environment = 81.25%, it can be concluded of the motivation women’s volley ball team senior high school 14 pekanbaru to face O2SN 2017 in good category.Key Word : Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the art of jikea gebano in Baturijal sub-district Peranap Indragiri Hulu Regency. Jikea gebano is an art owned by the Baturijal community which is often performed in the from of wedding events, circumcisions, and other official events aimed at entertaining the people of Baturijal. this jikea gebano is played by singing berzanji and 5 rhymes while hitting a drum. As for the objectives to be achieved in this study is to describe the interest and audience response to the jikea gebano performance and describe the relationship between the level of understnding of the text to informant and audience. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data analysis is done by flow technique, which begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that there were many changes that were felt in the past with the present, both in terms of informant, audience, and texst. Seen from informant, there used to be female informant but now there are no more. In terms of the audience, there were a lot of spectator because the jikea gebano is only the only entertainment in Baturijal buat now the demand is reduced because now there are many other entertainment such as single organ, salung dangdut, and kuda lumping. When viewed in terms of text, many of the jikea texts that were sung today have been cut into pieces compared to the past.Key Words: Jikea gebano, Baturijal's artistry.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the correlational. In this study a sample of the entire population sample totaling 12 person Men’s Volleyball Team of handayani fc tanah putih rokan hilir. The instrument of this study tests the strength of arm and shoulder muscles using (Hand Dynamometer) and test services over volleyball. Data were analyzed using product moment.Furthermore, to determine the extent to which the relationship between the strength of the relationship with the arm and shoulder muscles serviceability over the volleyball team volleyball Men’s handayani fc tanah putih rokan hilir,a significant test α = 0.05. Normality test variable X, L0max (0,162) < Ltabel (0.242), and variable normality test Y, L0max (0,1152) < Ltabel (0.242) normal data and research conclusion indicates: there is a,relationship between the strength of the relationship with the arm and shoulder muscles serviceability over the volleyball team volleyball Men’s handayani fc tanah putih rokan hilir with a correlation r = 0.798 where rcount> rtable or 0,798 > 0,602. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve the learning outcomes of students of class X IPS3 SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. Form of research conducted is action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The subjects of as many as 35 students, consist of 19 boys students and 16 girls students with heterogeneous ability. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. The observation sheet was analyzed descriptive qualitative while the test of mathematics learning outcomes was analyzed statistically. Based on qualitative analiysis showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test IIare respectively 12 students (34,2%), 13 students (37,1%) and 20 students (57,1%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Cooperative learning structured approach Numbered Heads Together can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class X IPS3 SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan even semester academic years 2018/2019.Key Words: Student’s Math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Structural Approach ofNumbered Heads Together, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics outcomes by applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is students in VIIA SMP Negeri 1 Rengat Barat in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 27 students. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the students mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process from before the action to the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning.The results of this research showed the number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria for knowledge increase from the basic score (40,74%) to (59,25%) at the first test and to (77,77%) at the second test. For the skills, the increase from the basic score (37,04%) to (51,85%) at the first test and to (77,77%) at the second test. The results of this research showed that appication of PBL can improve learning process and increase mathematics outcomes for students in VIIA SMP Negeri 1 Rengat Barat in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter algebra operations and functions.Keywords : Mathematics Outcomes, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce an physics learning media based on android static electricity material, as well as knowing the quality of learning media products that have been developed so that they are suitable for use in physics learning activities. This learning media is designed to contain static electricity material that is abstract and cannot be seen in plain view. In this learning media the material of the picture is real and easily understood by students. This research is a research and development (R & D) which refers to the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The learning media produced is an andoid based mobile learning application using APP Inventor 2. The assessment instrument uses an assessment sheet with data sources from media experts and metrics experts. This assessment instrument consists of four aspects of assessment, one of which is the design aspect, pedagogical aspects, content aspects and technical aspects. The results of the assessment of these four aspects obtained an average score of 4.66 and r index of 0.91 with a high level of validity. The results of the assessment indicate that the results of data analysis indicate that the static-based android learning media for high school students of class XII runs well and can be used as a supporting medium in the learning process at school.Key Words: Physics Learning Media, Inventor App For Android, Static Electricity.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is that the strength of the jump smash athletes of Club PB Bank Riau badminton sons of Riau Islands Pekanbaru is still lacking, this can be seen from various trials and official matches and this is one of the factors causing the defeat. This type of research is a type of experimental research to see the effect of the form of training. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of medicine ball exercise on the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles in the athletes of Club PB Bank Riau badminton sons of Riau Islands Pekanbaru. The population in this study was PB Club Riau Kepri Pekanbaru, amounting to 6 people. The sampling technique is by using total sampling, where the total population is sampled. Data collection techniques obtained from the pre-test and post test. The instrument in this study used an expanding dynamometer as a tool to measure arm and shoulder muscle strength. The analysis was carried out using the t-test. based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of medicine ball exercise on arm and shoulder muscle strength on the badminton athletes of Club PB Bank Riau badminton club Kepri Pekanbaru proven by the results of tcount of 13.23 and t table of 1.943. Means Thitung> T table. At the level of ɑ = 0.05.Key Words: Exercise medicine ball, arm and shoulder muscle strength
