Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the participation of KPM members in participation in the PKH study activities in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu district, Kampar District. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 50 people, namely KPM members with a random sampling technique according to the Slovenian formula. The technique to collect data using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results of this study show that the participation in thinking is quite high, the participation of employees is quite high, the participation of real estate is quite high, the participation of the skills provided is quite high, social participation given as very close proximityKey Words: Participation, KPM members in following the PKH study.

Abstract

Abstract : This research was using class action research. This research aims to fixed the process of learning and improve learning result in mathematics in grade VIIA of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru by applying the Discovery Learning model. The subject of this research were the students in the class VIIA of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru that consist of 16 boys and 11 girls at the second semester of academic year 2018/2019. During the learning process, there is a problem of learning that is still focused on the teacher so that students can not find the concept of learning. To solve this problem requires a learning model where students can actively discover their own learning concepts. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematics tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative, meanwhile the students’ mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. Based on the analysis showed that an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the students’ in the second semester academic years 2018/2019. Based on the result of research, the implementation of discovery learning methods can fix the learning process and improving student’s achievement of learning mathematisc in grade VIIA of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru.Key Words : Students’ Math Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VIIE SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 39 students, consist of 22 boys and 17 girls Aritmetika Sosial form material. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument of data collection in this research consist of observation sheet and assessment sheet. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observation techniques and test results of mathematics learning techniques. Data obtained from the observation sheet is qualitative data and analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis technique. Data obtained from the learning result test were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The result of data analysis show teacher’s and student’s activity have been done very well in cycle II and weakness/deficiency that happened less from cycle I to cycle II. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning.The results of this research showed the number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) for knowledge increase from the basic score (28,21%) to (35,89%) at the first test and to (74,36%) at the second test. For the skills, the score increase from (28,21%) at the first test, to (69,23%) at the second test. The results of this research showed that application of Problem Based Learning can improve the learning process and increase mathematics outcomes for students VIIE SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru in 2018/2019 academic year at Aritmetika Sosial form material.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstact: This research was conducted to analyze item quality of written test for Senior High School in Biology Olimpiad at Riau dan Kepulauan Riau 2018. This research was carried out in October – November 2018. This research is a descriptive research, the data analyzed by quantitative method composed by difficult level, distinguishing power, fungtion of distractor, validity and reliability item and see domain cognitive by Taksonomi Bloom. Data source in this research are secondary data used participant answer sheet as the data. The result of quntitative method show that written test in the bad category based on clasification qualitative analyze, because only 15 items accepted, 76 items need to repaired and 9 items was rejected.Key Words: Analysis Item Quality, Wtitten Test, Taksonomi Bloom

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the problem of self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years old in TK Pertiwi Kota Pekanbaru as there are children who look nervous when teacher asks to do activities, there are still children who have not been able to get along with their friends, children prefer to be spectators when they see their friends playing, there are children who are unable to think independently so they immediately ask for help from their teacher, there are still children who don’t dare to express their opinions. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between peer interaction with self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years old in TK Periwi Kota Pekanbaru. The population of this research is 77 students 5-6 years old in TK Periwi Kota Pekanbaru. Because the number of the population is small, so all of them became the sample of the population. The method used in this research was quantitative correlation to know the correlation between peer interaction with self-confidence. The technique of collecting the data is observation. The technique of data analysis is using product moment correlation technique with SPSS for windows version 21 program. Based on the result of the hypothesis test there is a significant positive correlation between peer interaction with self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years old in TK Periwi Kota Pekanbaru. This can be known from the value of the correlation coefficient of rxy =0,682 and significance level 0,000<0,05. The level of correlation between peer interaction with self-confidence included in the strong category with the value of determinant coefficient is equal to KD = r² x 100% = 46,6%, it means that peer interaction gives effect of 46,6% to self-confidence.Key Word: Self-Confidence, Peer Interaction

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research to know the used of deixis in dokkai text, then describe the results of analysis on the use of the Japanese language demonstrative pronoun ko-so-a, and to find out the meanings and functions in dokkai text. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method that focuses on a problem related to individuals, phenomenal, documents, and social symptoms. The data collection technique that will be carried out in this research is to select the object of this research and then only selected sentences that contain ko-so-a demonstrative pronoun deixis on the dokkai text in JLPT N4 questions. The results showed that in 7 (seven) document texts on JLPT N4 questions selected as research objects there is 4 types of demonstrative pronouns use deixis, there are 3 demonstrative pronouns of object words, 2 demonstrative pronouns words pointing place, 2 demonstrative pronouns of actions, 6 demonstrative anaphoris pronouns. And from 7 dokkai text analysis there are 5 times show of demonstrative dexis ko, 2 time of kore demonstrative pronouns, 1 time demonstrative dexis koko, 2 times of demonstrative pronounced dexis kono. Then 6 times the show of demonstrative dexis so, 3 times the show of demonstrative pronouns deixis soko, and 3 times the appearance of dexis demonstrative pronouns sono. Abstract

Abstract: From the observation results of the students martial arts Walet Puti Pekanbaru, by the time they kick, it will look like they have no kick up, no power and slow. To prove this, the test is conducted using a standing board jump test instrument intended to measure the leg muscle power. Test came back that students martial arts Walet Puti Pekanbaru still needed training to increase the leg muscle power. On this study, researchers focused on Incremental Vertical Hop exercise. This research was experimental research, the population was student martial arts Walet Puti SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Pekanbaru, the data in this research is 10 samples of 12 populations. The instrument carried out in this research was a standing board jump, which aim to measure the leg muscle power. The data in this research was processed by using statistics, to test the normality by the lilliefors test at a significant level of 0.05. The hypothesis proposed that there was an effect of Incremental Vertical Hop exercise in leg muscle power. Based on the t-test analysis, Tvalue was 14,72 and Ttable was 1,833 which means Tvalue > Ttable. Based on statistical data analysis, the mean of Pre-Test was 209,5 and the mean of post-test was 231,3, which means the data were normal. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was an effect of the Incremental Vertical Hop exercise in leg muscle power students martial arts Walet Puti Pekanbaru.Key Words: Incremental Vertical Hop, Leg Muscle Power

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the understanding of students' concepts and to know the difference in understanding of the concepts of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Pekanbaru with the application of the Teaching With Analogie (TWA) learning model and conventional learning on pressure material. This type of research is true experimental design with a posttest control only design. The research sample was the students class VIII of SMPN 3 Pekanbaru in academic year 2018/2019 which amounted to 43 students. The data of this study are data on students' understanding of concepts consisting of post-test scores through the application of TWA learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at the percentage of conceptual understanding and inferentially analyzed using the T-test. Descriptive analysis results obtained, understanding the concept of experimental class students is higher than the understanding of the control class concept with an average score of conceptual understanding of experimental class students 73.69 including the moderate category and the concept of control class control scores 47.41 with very low categories . Based on the results of inferential analysis using the T-test , the significant value is 0,000 <0,05 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students' understanding of the concept after applying the TWA learning model and conventional learning.Key Words: TWA Model, Concept Understanding, Pressure

Abstract

Abstract: The history of the development of Islam in Indonesia has brought influence to the minds of the people. One of them is the culture of the regions in Indonesia and the Malay Tribe is one of them. The majority of the people are Malay with one of them in Indonesia in the Riau Islands region. Where the development of Islam in this area can be seen from the greatness of the Melayunya Sultanate, the Riau-Lingga Sultanate which stands influenced by the style of culture and Islamic wisdom in this Malay land. One of them can be seen from its historic building, the Great Mosque of Sultan Riau. The research objectives are 1) For the history of the Great Mosque of Sultan Riau on Penyengat Island in Tanjung Pinang City, 2) To find out the function of the Great Mosque of Sultan Riau on Penyengat Island in Tanjung Pinang City, 3) To find out the symbolic meanings of several building parts in Great Mosque of Sultan Riau, 4) To find out tourists' interest in historical tourism in the Great Mosque of Sultan Riau. The research uses qualitative methods with a historical approach with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, documentation and decision-making. The results of this study were the Great Mosque of Sultan Riau began to be built around 1803 by Sultan Mahmud Syah III, which was then presented with Penyengat Island to Engku Putri Raja Hamidah Binti Raja Haji Fisabilillah as a Bride. The Great Mosque of Sultan Riau also has a function of a mosque that is different from other mosques because this mosque is one of the mosques which participated in the interests of the Riau-Lingga Sultanate. The Great Mosque of Sultan Riau has a unique and symbolic building form that is rarely owned by other mosques and the attractiveness of this mosque which is able to increase the interest of tourists on Penyengat Island.Key Words: The Great Mosque Of Sultan Riau, Penyengat Island

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the growth of microalgae in peat water media and produce a design of Student Worksheet (LKPD) protists in class X high school. This research was carried out in the Biology Education Laboratory FKIP UNRI in March-April 2019. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the experimental stage: microalgae growth in the peat water medium of Giam Siak Kecil Bukit Batu Biosphere Reserve and the design phase of the LKPD: analysis of potential material material development class X high school protists. The study used an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 3 replications. The parameter in this study is Optical Dencity (OD). Based on the results of Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) at the level of 5%, the addition of microalgae in the media of peat water significantly affected the OD values of microalgae. The best combination of treatments is found in treatment M1 with a mean OD value of 0.115 achieved on the seventh day. While based on the analysis of potential results of the study can be used as a draft Student Worksheet (LKPD) material for class X high school protists in KD 3.6.Key Words: Growth Curve, LKPD, Microalgae.
