Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes of PPKn at SMPN 6 Merangin. The formulation of the problem in this study is "is there any influence of the use of Crossword Puzzle learning models on learning outcomes whether students in class VII SMPN 6 Merangin?". This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Crossword Puzzle learning models in improving the learning outcomes of PPKn grade VII SMPN 6 Merangin. This research was conducted at SMPN 6 Merangin in July 2018.  This research is a quantitative descriptive research that was experimental. The population in this study were students of class VII SMPN 6 Merangin. The sample in this study was taken based on "Random Sampling" technique. where the classes taken into the sample were students of class VII C (experimental class) who were given a crossword puzzle learning model, and class VII A (control class) were students who were given conventional methods. Then the data were analyzed using homogeneity test and "t" test. The subject matter that is applied  is the "Norms and Justice". Based on the results of the study indicate that there is an influence of learning outcomes between students who use Crossoword Puzzle models and conventional methods in SMPN 6 Merangin  this can be seen from the results (>). Thus there is an effect of the use of Crossword Puzzle learning models on student learning outcomes VII. The magnitude of the effect after being calculated with a gain test shows the crossword puzzle leraning model gives an effect on learning outcomes of 0,5 in the medium category. Where there was an increase in the average learning outcomes of the experimental class to 84,56 and the average increase in the learning outcomes of the control class was 76,13. Key Words : Crossword Puzzle, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine whether there is any influence of training interval training on the endurance of Vo2Max at Taekwondo Badnur Medisa Club Pekanbaru athlete, so that when doing the exercises or match with maximum and have good endurance. The problem in this study is the lack of endurance of Vo2Max during routine and matching exercises. Based on these problems the authors provide the form of training interval training. This type of research is experimental with one group pretest-posttest design research. The population in this research is Taekwondo Badnur Medisa Club Pekanbaru atlet which amounted to 4 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling, where the entire population of 4 people sampled. With the test run test balke 15 minutes ago conducted descriptive analysis and normality test using liliefors test at significant level α (0.05) from pretest data balke 15 minutes to produce Lo max 0.1814 smaller than Ltabel 0.381. Further training was given 16 training intervals. Then dialakukan done posttest balke 15 minutes to produce Lo max 0.262 smaller than Ltabel 0,381. From t test analysis yield Thitung equal to 10,52 and Ttabel equal to 2,132 mean Thitung > Ttabel. It can be concluded that the training interval training had an effect on the result of increased endurance of Vo2Max athlete Taekwondo Badnur Medisa Club Pekanbaru.Keywords: Interval Training, Vo2Max Endurance

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the problems that occurred in the VIIIC class of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru and the result of learning mathematics which is still under the KKM with percentage 42,85% on subject that related to Pythagoras theorem. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve student learning achievement by applying cooperative learning model with structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The data was collected by doing observation of teachers and students activities and formative test. The data analysis of the research results showed that the weakness in cycle I has been improved with improvement plan that will be done in cycle II, it means that there has been improvement in the learning process. In addition, the number of students who achieved KKM on the basic score, formative test I (first cycle), formative test II (second cycle) were 42,85%, 53,57%, dan 71,43%, respectively. The percentage of achievement of this KKM also shows improvement from before action to after action so that it can be said that student learning achievement also increase. The results of this research indicate that cooperative learning model with structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach can improve the learning process and improve the learning achievement of mathematics students VIIIC of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru second semester of the academic year 2016/2017.Key Words: Math Learning Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model With Structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Approach, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to find out whether the implementation cooperative learning model mind mapping can improve social science learning results of Class IV Students in SD Negeri 13 Bantan Tua. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) with the research subjects are class IV Students which amount to 20 students. The data collection techniques. Used is observation and tests. The research concluded that social science learning which using cooperative learning model mind mapping can improve the teacher’s activity, student’s activity and social science learning result. At the first meeting of cycle I, the teachers’s activity percentage was 70,83% and categorized good, at the second meeting the percentage increased to be 83,33% and categorized good. For cycle II at the first meeting the percentage was 91,66 % and categorized very good, at the second meeting increased to be 95,83% and categorized very good. Then for studen’s activity cycle I at the first meeting the percentage was 75% and categorized good, inthe second meeting the percentage was 79,16% and categorized good. For the first meeting of cycle II the percentage was 83,33 % and categorized very good, at the second meeting the percentage was 91,66% and categorized very good. The student’s social science learning result from the average grades before actions (basic score) was 59,3 decline at cycle I to be 64,5 with the percentage by5,2% and at cycle II the average grades increased to be 70,25 with the percentage increase by 10,95% from the basic score by 59,3/Keywords: Cooperatif learnin gmodel Mind Mapping,Type,social science learning Result.

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine the percentage of the national exam physics category Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and know the high-level thinking skills of students in completing the national exam Physics. The method used in this research is descriptive with the type of content or document analysis. The subject of this research is a class XII student with the number 129. The data obtained in this study a matter of Physics 2016 percentage categorized HOTS are analyzed using indicators about by A. Thomas and G. Thorne as well as data analysis of high-level thinking skills of students in the national exam physics obtained through answer students' work on the problems. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the national exam physics is capable of measuring high-level thinking skills of students on average are less well categorized.Key Words: Higher Order Thinking Skills, HOTS Students, National Physical Exam

Abstract

Abstract: Civic Education Teachers have a considerable role and responsibility to foster student attitudes and behavior, one of which includes an attitude of tolerance towards students. Because civic education is a subject that focuses on the formation of citizens who understand and can carry out the rights and obligations to become intelligent, skilled and characterized Indonesian citizens mandated by Pancasila and Undang-Undang 1945. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of PPKn teacher’s in embedding character tolerance in students in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. To find out how the tolerance character of student in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. To find out how there is an influence of the role of PPKn teacher’s in embedding character tolerance in student in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The subjects in this study were students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru with a total of VII grade students, there are 5 classes with 163 students, VIII classes there are 6 classes with 234 students and Class IX there are 7 classes with a total of 291 students. The sample in this study was taken using a proportional sampling technique with 10% of subjects. The technique of data collection is done through observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. In analyzing data using quantitative descriptive techniques with statistical tests. The results of this study indicate that the role of the PPKn teacher in instilling tolerance character is at a very good level. There is a significant influence in this study because it is known that the results of a simple linear regression between variables X and Y, obtained Fcount of 4.273 and Ftable of 3.99 indicates Fcount> Ftable, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The influence is low because the results obtained by 24.8%.Key Words: The Role, PPKn Teachers, Tolerance Character.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students’ math achievement at class  X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 17,07%, there are only 7 students from 41 students who achieve the passing grade on the main discussion about relevancy with logica mathematic and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is class room action research. This research aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at clas X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru through the implementation cooperative learning model of structural Numbered Heads Together. The subject of the research are  41 students from class X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru consist of 18 male and 23 female students with the heterogenous level. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The research instrument consist of learning devices that involve Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Worksheet, and instrument data collector that involve the observation sheet and math achievement test. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students’ math achievement from the basic score with the percentage 17.07% to 26.8% on the first daily test and 78.05% on the second daily test. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model of structural approach Numbered Heads Together can improve students’ math achievement    at class X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to know student’s learning cognitive result of the grade X in SMA N 1 Pangean between learning strategies expository and conventional learning in the pith matter of circular motion. The kind of research is Pre-Experimental Designs with research design Intact Group Comparison, where both classes were tested for normality and homogeneity of data and both groups showed that these classes have a homogeneous variance, obtained by using a sweepstakes technique class X1 as a class experiment with Implementation of learning strategies expository and class X2 is a class that has been choose as control class with conventional learning. The research instrument is result test of study. Collecting data is done with giving a test of study’s result after studied. The refinery data is done by descriptive statistics. The research findings : student ability in class with implementation of learning strategies expository is 77%, whereas student ability in class with conventional learning is 70%. Thus implementation of learning strategies expository is effective in increasing cognitive student’s learning of class X SMA N 1 Pangean.Key-Words: Students Learning Cognitive Result, learning strategies expository, circular motion.* Mahasiswa

Abstract

Abstract: The aims this study to determine the incresing dynamic electric concepts with the application of virtual simulation media through contextual learning in class X SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The subjects were students of class X1 and X2 class. X1 class as a class experiment with the number of students by 37 votes, while class X2 as the control class with the number of students as many as 37 people. Data collection instrument in this research is test the mastery of concept of dynamic electric that consists of 10 items essay. Analysis of the data in this research is descriptive analysis to see the picture of increasing mastery of the concept of dynamic electricity students by using the value of the gain is normalized and inferential analysis to know there is no difference between the classes who use the virtual simulation media through contextual learning with classes that do not use the application virtual simulation media of the dynamic electric concept mastery. From the analysis of the data shows: the value of the gain is normalized experimental class was 0.76 with a high category, while the value of the normalized gain control group was 0.71 with a high category and there value significance 0,765>0,05 and (3,482>2,028) so accepted, meaning there is a difference between a class that uses the application of virtual simulation media through contextual learning with classes that do not use the media application of virtual simulation of the dynamic electric concept mastery. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of virtual simulation media through contextual learning can be used for learning in class X1 SMAN 4 Pekanbaru.Key Words: virtual simulation media, contextual learning, mastery of concepts, dynamic electric

Abstract

Abstract: This research was held because the study results of IV grade student of SDS Muhammadiyah kecamatan Mandau kabupaten Bengkalis in socials learning were still lower than KKM. The students who achieved KKM were 10 students (40,00%) and who can’t achieved KKM were 15 students (60%). The purpose of this research was to increased capability of IV grade student of SDS Muhammadiyah Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis in socials learning with applied the cooperative learning model with type make a match. The result of this research show that the total score of student activity were increase at cycle I from first meeting with score 10 (41,66%) as category minus become 13 (54,16%) at second meeting with category sufficient. On the cycle II, the total score of student activity were also increase from 19 (79,16%) with category good become 21 (91,66%) with category very good. The study result of student  increased from initial value to daily test I were by average 63,2 become 80,4 with percentage until 27,2% dan increasing to daily test II become 86,8 with percentage until 37,3%. For the value of classical completness of study result of socials learning from all student just take percentage 40% (cycle I). After the model of cooperative learning make a match was implemented on the cycle II, the value of classical completness increased become 88%. Based on the result of this research can be conclused that application model of cooperative learning make a match can increased the study result in socials learning of IV grade student of SDS Muhammadiyah kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis. Key Words: Make A Match, Learning Outcomes Of Socials Learning
