Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of discipline attitude of children at adolescent age in Teluk Mega Village, Tanah Putih Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. The lack of discipline included frequent night out, late leaving for school, smoking, denied parental orders to throw garbage carelessly and had not yet prayed five times. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the role of the family in instilling the attitude of child discipline in adolescence? This study aims to determine how the role of families in inculcating the attitude of child discipline in adolescence. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were families who had children in the age of adolescents amounted to 337 Head of Family. The sample in this study amounted to 50 parents who have children in adolescence is between 10-19 years. Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of the research, it is known that the role of the family in inculcating the attitude of children's discipline at the age of adolescents in Teluk Mega Village Tanah Putih Subdistrict Rokan Hilir Regency is good with the percentage of 72%. These results were obtained from the recapitulation of respondents' answers which answered very often by 27%, often by 44.9%, sometimes by 21.8% and never 6.3%. Based on the benchmark in CHAPTER III that is the number that answered very often+often that is 72% is in the range 50.01%-75.00% indicates good. The hypothesis formulation in this research is that the role of family in instilling discipline attitude of child at adolescent age is good. Thus the hypothesis in this study is accepted. From the results of this study is expected to be the material information or input for parents to always teach and instill to the child about good discipline.Key Words: Roles, Family, Youth Discipline

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of Habits and Attitudes of Learning on Learning Achievements in Economic Subjects in Class XII IPS Students at Pekanbaru 7 High School T.A 2018/2019. This research is descriptive quantitative using a correlational approach. The population in this study were all students of class XII IPS in Pekanbaru T.A 2018/2019 Public High School 7 consisting of 4 classes totaling 150 students and a sample of 110 students using simple random sampling technique. This study uses multiple linear regression techniques using the t test, F test and to determine the percentage influence of Habit and Learning Attitudes toward Learning Achievement using the coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results of the study of Student Learning Habits at Pekanbaru 7 High School included in the Good category, the Learning Attitude of students in Pekanbaru 7 High School is also included in the Good category. From the data analysis it was found that student learning habits significantly influence learning achievement, student learning attitudes also have a significant influence on learning achievement. Simultaneously it turns out that Student Learning Habits and Attitudes significantly influence Learning Achievement with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 48.2% while the remaining 51.8% is determined by factors such as learning motivation, learning discipline and so on. For students to increase the habit of doing economic assignments both at home and at school, individual assignments and group assignments. As well as being more good towards Economics and other lessons. Because by practicing getting used to making assignments well, coupled with a good attitude towards the lessons learned is believed to be able to make learning achievements better and keep increasing.Keyword: Learning Habits, Learning Attitudes, Learning Achievements.

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to develop learning media with good quality in the circulatory system material utilizing e-learning based on edmodo to improve students learning motivation in XI class. Further, e-learning validity test based on edmodo as learning media. The research was conducted in campus of Biology Education Program of FKIP Universitas Riau, it start from June to October 2017 by using Research and Development (R&D) approach with ADDIE model. This research is only in the Development stage. Learning media that has been developed is in circulatory system meterial. The instrument has been used is edmodo based e-learning validation sheet that containing 24 questions and was filled by 5 validators. Furthermore, it was conducted first test to 13 students biology education semester 1 and second test to 19 students of grade XII SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru by using questionnaire of student response. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The result of edmodo based e-learning validation on the circulation system material is seen from 4 aspects, display, program, learning and curriculum. The result of validation is strong valid with score 3.86. The results of the first trial on students are in very good category for media and LTPD are 100% and 92.3% respectively. The second trial result of the students was in very good category on media and LTPD were 95% and 50% respectively. The result of questionnaire of motivation to learn is in good category in trial I is 3.30 or as much as 82.40% and trial II is 3.24 or as much as 80.97%. Learning tools developed can be used as an alternative learning tool and to improve student motivation of class XI.Keywords: Edmodo Based E-Learning, Learning Tool, Questionnaire response, Validation Sheet.

Abstract

Abstract, Based on observations the author did in class V SDN 011 Kepala Pulau seen that in doing the long jump which is obtained by the students is still not good, it is presumably because of leg muscle explosive power of students is still lacking. Therefore, researchers wanted to show whether there is a relationship ecplosive limb muscle power with the ability to long jump. This research was conducted using Correlational where according Sugiyono (2010: 228) the correlation technique is used to find the relationship and prove the hypothesis relationship between two variables when the second data interval or ratio variable shaped, and the source of the data from two or more variables are equal. The sample in this study were students of SDN 011 male and femaleof the head of the island amounted to 15 people with a total sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained from a standing broad jump test to measure limb muscle explosive power and long jump test. Liliefors normality test using the results of normal distribution of data. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using product moment correlation test and found to male students rhitung 0:22 value smaller than rtabel = 0754, in other words there is no relationship of leg muscle explosive power with the ability lomapt away, while the female students gained grades rhitung = 0.71sedangkan value rtabel = 0.70 can be concluded that there is a relationship of leg muscle explosive power with the ability to long jump schoolgirl daughter of SDN 011 Kepala Puaau.Keywords: Explosive Power Legs Muscle, Long Jump

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental research aimed to find out whether there is significant influence of students? reading comprehension after using Herringbone Technique in teaching reading at the second year of SMPN 4 Siak Hulu. Thus, the problem to be discussed is whether or not there is any significant influence of the students? reading comprehension after using Herringbone Technique in teaching reading at the second year of SMPN 4 Siak Hulu. The design of the research was one group pretest-posttest design. Cluster random sampling method was used to select one class to be the sample. As a result, 36 students of class VIII A at the second semester of academic year 2015/2016 were chosen as the sample. The steps applied in using herringbone technique are: (1) The teacher gives a brainstorming for the students by showing them a picture of animal related to the text (2) The teacher asks students? opinion about the picture (3) The teacher asks students to make groups (4) The students read the text to find the answers and record the answers on the diagram (5) The students write the main idea (6) The teacher guides class discussion. The instrument used was a reading test that consists of 38 questions and the obtained data were analyzed by using SPSS version 16.0 for Windows. The results of data analysis are t-test (13.58) was greater than t-table (2.042). This illustrates that there is significant influence of students? reading comprehension after being taught using Herringbone Technique in teaching reading.Keywords: reading comprehension, herringbone technique

Abstract

Abstract: In the pragmatics, meaning or purpose that appear in a speech called implicatures. Implicatures that appear of two or more people who is conversing with each other called conversational implicature. The purpose of this research is to describe the implicatures of conversations in the Hidamari No Kanojo novel. Besides that, it also aimed to explain the purpose of the communicative acts on it. Theory that used were Grice (1975) to find out kind of implicatures conversational according to flouting of maxim in the coorperative principle and Brown (1980) about communicative acts. This research is a qualitative descriptive method to decribing the data in the Hidamari No Kanojo novel. The results of this study were (1) found general conversational implicatures as much as 12 data, the special conversational implicatures as many as 8 data (2) mean of conversational implicatures by the speakers explained through the communicative acts which is classified into 15 types according to their intended purpose.Key Words: Implicatures, Coorperative Principle, Communicative Acts, Novel, Pragmatics.

Abstract

Abstract: Problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes IPA IV grade publik school students 28 Bengkalis. With an average of 63,75. Within minimal completeness criterion stated is 66,7. Among 20 student there was only 7 students were able to achieve the score of KKM. It is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) by two cycles. The purpose of this study to improve science learning outcomes of public school fourth graders 28 Bengkalis with direct learning model application. In cycle I, the percentage of teachers activity in first meeting is adquate 55%. In second meeting, teachers activity significantly increased to 70% with good category. In cycle II, first meeting was in good category 80% and second meeting a very good category 85%. Meanwhile, the activity of student?s also improved, in cycle I the percentage the activity of student?s in first meeting is adquate 55%. In second meeting, activity of student?s significantly increased to 70% with good category. In cycle II, first meeting was in good category 75% and second meeting indicates a very good category 85%. The student?s social science learning result from the average grades before action was 63,75 increased at cycle I to be 73 with the percentage increase by 14,51% and at cycle II the average grades increased to be 78,75 with the percentage increase by 23,53% from the basic score by 63,75. Based on the result in can be concluded that implementation of direct instruction model can social in four graders at SDN 28 Bengkalis.Key words: model direct instruction, Learning result of science subject

Abstract

Abstract : This research was aimed to increase students achievement of social lesson in III grade year of 2014/2015. The subject of this research in students III grade of state SDN 016 Sekeladi which is total of 20 students, consisted of 8 girls and 10 boys. This was a classroom research which has two cycles which was conducted on March 16th to April 09th 2015. The data shown that either learning process or students achievement increased. This was found from students and teachers scores in learning process increased. First cycle at the first meeting teacher’s activity was 66,67%categorized as good and increased 5,55% at the second meeting as 72,22% categorized as good. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of teacher’s activity increased as 83,33% categorized as very good and in the second meeting it increased as 8,34% so the percentage became 91,67% categorized as very good. While students activities in learning process also increased. At the first cycle in the first meeting, the percentage of students activities was 61,11% categorized as good and the second meeting it increased as 5,56% so became 66,67% categorized as good. At the second cycle in the first meeting it increased to 80,56% categorized as very good. At the second meeting the percentage of students’ activities increased as 8,33% became 88,89% categorized as very good. However, students’ achievement also increased. The basic score of daily examination as 13,2% which 11 students passed and 13 students failed. The ending of daily examination was 61,11% and the average 71,67 on the passing grade. The second daily examination also increased from basic score of as13,2% which 15 students passed and 3 students failed. The ending of second daily examination was 83,33% and the average was 81,11. Based on the explanation above it can be concluded that the implementation cooperative learning by think pair share (TPS) to increase students achievement in social lesson of students III grade of State SDN 016 Sekeladi.Key Words : Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share (TPS) Thype, Social Lesson Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of behavioral contracting techniques to reduce the gadget addiction behavior of students in SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the measurement scale of gadget addiction behavior which consisted of 42 items before validation, and after validation obtained 30 items with avalid validity of 0.499 and a reliability of 0.867. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having high levels of gadget addiction behavior. The data analysis technique used was non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the research proved the research hypothesis was accepted. before and after treatment is given in the form of contact behavior techniques. From the Spearman rank test results obtained correlation coefficient r = 0.817 while thedeterminant coefficient r2 is 0.667. Thus there is an influence of 66% contract behavior behavior on gadget addiction behavior.Key Words: Contract Behavior, Student Gadget Addiction Behavior,Group Conseling

Abstract

ABSTRACT, The background of the problem in this study is not maximized yet forehand smash results conducted badminton extracurricular student at SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan. This problem is evident from observations of researchers at practice and games, it is suspected because of the explosive power of arms and shoulders of the students. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a corelation explosive power of arms and shoulders with a forehand smash extracurricular students of SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As the independent variable (X) is the explosive power of arms and shoulders, while the dependent variable (Y) is a forehand smash badminton. This research data obtained from the tests using two hand medicine ball put test, and tests forehand smash badminton. The sample in this study were students extracurricular badminton SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan numbering 14 people (total sampling). Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: corelation variable X with variable Y obtained count r = 0.581> r table = 0.553, then there is a corelation between variables X with variable Y. Thus it can be said Ha Ho accepted and rejected. Conclusion The hypothesis was accepted at significance level α = 0:05 in other words there is a significant corelation between the explosive power arm and shoulder muscles with the result forehand smash badminton badminton male student extracurricular SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan.Keywords : Explosive Power, Arm and Shoulders Muscles, Smash, Badminton
