Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out how to change the tradition of Ertutur in kinship ethnic of students of Batak Karo students in Pekanbaru. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. As for the informant that is established by using the puprosive sampling technique, they are students of Batak Karo people who are taking a study in the city of Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques performed by observations, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. With primary and skunder data sources. Data analysis techniques by using combination method (Mix method). Based on the results of the research conducted, the researcher concluded that the tradition of Ertutur in kinship ethnic of students Batak Karo in Pekanbaru 54% already threaded refers to the average descriptive data of the alternative percentage answer "no "Given the respondent.Key Words: Ertutur, Kinship ethics

Abstract

Abstract:This reseacrh based on the students math ability class VIII6 of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru under Minimum Mastery Criteria  with a percentage of 32,50% and the learning process still teacher center. The research was classroom action research. This research aims to improve learning process and outcomes students by implementing cooperative learning model type of Think Pair Square. There are 40 students in the class, consisting 14 girls and 26 boys. The technic of data collection on this research are observation sheets and math achievement tests. The observation sheets are analyze in qualitative descriptive way, while the math achievement tests are analyze in quantitative descriptive way. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action of the first cycle to the second cycle. Then the result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage 32,50% to 42,50% on the first daily test and 65% on the second daily test. From the results of this study concluded that Cooperative Learning model type of Think Pair Square can improve the students’ learning achievement at class VIII6 of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2016/2017.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes IPS students, with an average grade of 65. Among the students who totaled 17 people only 5 students who completed KKM with classical completeness reached 29.41%. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students 03 Sejangat Bukit Batu subdistrict to implement cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Data collection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes. This thesis presents the increase in the number of students who reach the KKM of 5 people (29.41%) on the base score to 12 people (70.58%) in the first cycle and increased to 17 (100%) in the second cycle. This means that the sample classes have been completed in the classical. An increase in the average learning outcomes of a base score is 65 to 74.12 in the first cycle and 86.18 in the second cycle. An increase in the activity of the teacher. At the first meeting of the first cycle of activity percentages of teachers is 58.33%, 70.83% second meeting. While the second cycle the first meeting with the percentage of 87.50%, and the second meeting increased 91.67%. While the student activity also increased that the first meeting of the first cycle of the percentage of student activity is 54.17%, 66.67% second meeting, the first meeting of the second cycle of 79.17% and a second meeting fixed with an average 87.50%. Results of the study in class V SDN 03 Sejangat Bukit Batu subdistrict prove that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve learning outcomes IPS fifth grade students of SDN 03 Sejangat Bukit Batu subdistrict.Keywords: Cooperative type Two Stay Two Stray, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of field observations of the fine motor skills of the students have not developed optimally. So that should be the implementation of activities papercraft. This study aims to determine the effect of papercraft activities against the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Labor FKIP Riau University. The sample used in this study 23 people protégé. The data collection techniques were used that observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using t-test using SPSS 20.0. The research hypothesis is papercraft activities have an influence on the fine motor skills 5-6 years old in kindergarten Labor FKIP Riau University. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained by t = 17 683 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. because Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0, 05, it can be concluded that there is a subtle difference in the ability of Motor significant protégé after papercraft in learning activities. So it means Ho rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after the experiment by applying papercraft activities. Papercraft activity influence on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Labor FKIP University of Riau, amounting to 43.09%.Keywords: Fine Motor Ability, Activity Papercraft

Abstract

         Abstract ,: problem in this researck is less than the maximum power arm muscles shoulder and back muscle flexibility with shot put results. This is because by the factor of the physical condition of male students of class XI SMK Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru is still lacking, especially on the power arm muscles shoulder and flexibility of back muscles are visible when male students do repulsion, results tolakannya less than the maximum can be seen from the deficiencies in the current do prefix, while holding the bullet, bullet exit position, the arm strength and position of the body at the time refused. The sample in this study was the son of a class XI student of SMK Taruna Pekanbaru. A sampling technique that the overall population (total sampling). The instrument used in this study is to test two hand medicine ball put and sit and reach test, which aims to measure the strength of the shoulder arm muscle power and flexibility of the back muscles and then test their skills are shot put test that aims to measure the far distance repulsion. After that, the data is processed with statistical, normality test with lilifors test at significant level 0,05α. The hypothesis is that the alleged relationship between Power are the shoulder and arm muscles muscle tone back to the shot put results on male students of class XI SMK Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru. Based on analysis of test lilifors produce L0maks (X1) (0108) <Lt (0173), L0maks (X2) (0132) <Lt (0.173) and L0maks (Y) (0,157) <Lt (0173), the samples come from populations berdristribusi normal , Then from the calculation of product moment correlation between muscle power arm shoulder with the results of shot put, with rhitung> rtable, (0.679)> (0.413), muscle tone back with the results of shot put with rhitung> rtable, (0,532)> (0.413), power relations arm muscles shoulder and back muscle flexibility with shot put results on male students of class XI SMK Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru, with 0.701 rhitung> Rtable0.413, meaning that there is a relationship together between the shoulder arm muscle power and flexibility of the back muscles with the ability of the results shot put. Keywords: Power Relations shoulder and arm muscles muscle tone back to the shot put results.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research was mathematic learning outcomes in fourth grade students SDN 004 Pekanbaru still low with average value 60,1 with minimum completeness criteria (KKM 70).The purpose 0f this research was to improve mathematic learning outcomes 0f the fourth grade (IV) students SDN 88 Pekanbaru with the implementation of number head together (NHT) models. This research was classroom action research with two circles. The subject were students of class IV SDN 88 Pekanbaru on 2016/2017 academic years with amounted to 33 students consisting of 12 men and 21 women. Base on analysis result observation paper of teacher and students activity sheet seen rising each meeting, teacher activity at first meeting of first circle was 79,1 %  good category and at the second meeting was 87,5 % with very good category. At the second circle, teachers activity at the first meeting was 91,7 % and the second meeting was 95,8 % with very good category. Student activities at first meeting of first circle was 70,8 % good category and at the second meeting was 83,3 % with very good category. At the second circle, student activity on the first meeting was 87,5 % and at the second meeting was 91,7 % with very good category. Mathematic learning outcomes before implementation cooperatives number head together type learning model average 60,1, after implementation cooperatives number head together type learning model at UH 1 was 75,2 and at UH II was 84,3 that improve about 40,3 %. Implementation of cooperatives number head together type learning model can improve learning outcomes of the fourth grade students SDN 88 Pekanbaru. Key Words: Cooperatives Number Head Together Type Learning Model, Mathematic Studies                   Achievement

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to produce student working sheet based on scramble learning model for the chapter of living organization system on Science subject in class VII of junior high school. This development research was conducted at Laboratoryof Biology Education Departement of PMIPA Facult of Teaching And education University of Riau and SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on March to june 2017. Research type that used this development research refer into Research and Development approach by using ADDIE model that has 5 steps (analyze, design, development, implement, evaluate). This research was done until development step only. Instument that used is validation sheet and respondent cuesionary, next it was held a limited test to 15 people Biology Education Study and 25 7th grade pipils in SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. Research data was analyzed by using descriptive. Analysist on come of LKPD based by scramble learning model for the chapt of living organization system was seen by 3 aspects, content feasibility aspect, planning aspect, and pedagogical aspect. Validity value LKPD based by scramble learning model in content feasibility aspect was 3,14 with valid category, validity value in planning aspect was 3,22 with valid category, whereas validity value in pedagogical aspect was 3,08 with category valid. Response learners by pupil on LKPD based by scramble learning model was categoryzed into very good with 3,34 score.Key Words: Development, Student Worksheet, Scramble Learning Model

Abstract: This research is motivated by the problems that arise from the observations made by the researcher is the low motivation of student learning due to lack of learning facilities provided by parents to their children. The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) how student learning motivation in SMP NEGERI 3 Teluk Kuantan The Distric Kuantan Tengah Kuantan Singingi Regency (2) how study facilities from parents in SMP NEGERI 3 Teluk Kuantan The Distric Kuantan Tengah Kuantan Singingi Regency (3) The influence of learning facilities from parents on student learning motivation in SMP NEGERI 3 Teluk Kuantan The Distric Kuantan Tengah Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study is to explain and analyze the learning facilities of parents, students' learning motivation and the influence of learning facilities from parents to student learning motivation in SMP NEGERI 3 Teluk Kuantan The Distric Kuantan Tengah Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The data collection instrument used in this research is a questionnaire consisting of 13 statements about parent learning facilities (variable X) and 17 statements about learning motivation (variable Y). These data were analyzed using simple linear regression. Thus the hopotesis which states "there is influence of learning facilities from parents to student learning motivation in SMP NEGERI 3 Teluk Kuantan The Distric Kuantan Tengah Kuantan Singingi Regency " received this is evidenced by simple linear regression test between variables X and Y. Obtained Fhitung 6.972 and Ftabel 4,00 obtained from the study of distribution list Ftabel with N = 62, at 5% significant level, thus can be known Fcount ≥ Ftable or 6,972 ≥ 4.00 then Ho is rejected, so the hypothesis in this study accepted.Keywords: Learning Facilities From Parents, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental research was aimed at finding out whether there was a significant effect of Schema Activation Strategy in comprehending Narrative Text of third-year students’ of SMP Dwi Sejahtera Pekanbaru. The research design was one group pre-test post-test design. The population was the third-year students in academic year 2018/2019. The sample was 24 students out of the population, chosen by cluster sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a reading test. The tests consisted of 25 items. The obtained data was analyzed by using SPSS version 20.0. The finding of the research showed that the mean score of post-test was higher than pre-test (75>60.667). The value of t-test was higher than t-table (14.922>2.07) at 5% of significance level. Therefore, alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This means that Schema Activation Strategy was effective for teaching reading comprehension concerning narrative text. There is a significant effect of Schema Activation Strategy in Comprehending Narrative Text of Third Year Students of SMP Dwi Sejahtera Pekanbaru.Keywords: Schema Activation Strategy, Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstract : Weaving Siak is rooted and becomes part of the local culture. In addition, this weaving also plays an important role in the development of cultural treasures of the nation because it is a real cultural repertoire. The purpose of this research is to find out when the beginning of entry of weaving to Siak area, to find out the factors behind the development of weaving Siak, to find out how the development of weaving Siak from time to time (1926-2015), which include: manufacturing technique, motif, type, function. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data obtained from the interviews are then analyzed by the language it self. The research was started since the beginning of the title of the researcher submitted until the completion of this thesis. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview techniques, and literature study techniques. The results showed that the development of weaving Siak backed by several factors, that is: improved human civilization, community appreciation, customs and culture, economy, and government support. The manufacture technique of woven fabric was starting to use tumpu weaving equipment, kik, and non machine weaving equipment (manual). Siak weaving motif comes from flora, fauna, and certain forms. Weaving Siak has undergone much development, not only as clothing and social functions but also as aesthetic and economic objects.Keywords : Weaving Siak, Culture, Development
