Abstract

Abstrak : Kingdom of Siak is a kingdom which located at one of cities in Riau Province, it’s Siak Regency. Kingdom of Siak has been there even before and after the England and Colonial take over until Indonesia’s independence era. Kingdom of Siak was built by Raja Kecik who titled Sultan Abdul Jalil Rahmat Syah in 1723. The historiography about the Kingdom of Siak isn’t only talk about its growth and expansion processes, but, history was also recorded its ups and downs as well as their prominent characters who took the role in Kingdom of Siak’s era. By writing about the characters who have struggled, we expected people could know and respect how the struggle they’ve been through, as well as the role of this four Datuks which called by Datuk Empat Suku, such as Datuk Lima Puluh, Datuk Tanah Datar, Datuk Kampar, and Datuk Pesisir. The four Datuks were Sultan’s confidants who appointed as Kingdom Councils and responsible to set the wheels of Kingdom of Siak’s government. This research purposes are: (1) To know more about Datuk Empat Suku, (2) To know the role of Datuk Empat Suku in Kingdom of Siak’s government system, (3) To know the efforts that were made by Datuk Empat Suku to set the wheels of Kingdom of Siak’s government, (4) To know the role of Datuk Empat Suku after the Kingdom’s Council was abolished and the Kingdom joined Republic of Indonesia. This research was conducted by historical method. The data were derived from literature studies and interviews. The research started from submission of the proposal title until the last revision of author’s research. The research’s result showed that Datuk Empat Suku as Kingdom’s Councils, have important role to the sustainability of the development of the Kingdom’s government system, so Datuk Empat Suku’s presence never been abolished from the Kingdom’s government structure until the last Sultan, who is Sultan Syarif Kasim II.Keywords: Role, Datuk Empat Suku, Governments, Kingdom Siak

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group designs which is backed by the low ability of student’s reading comprehension skills in elementary school. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of DRTA strategy (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) toward student’s reading comprehension skills in class V SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru. The subject of this study was student in class V which is VA as controlled class and VB as experimental class which is consist of 19 student each class. The stages of this research is to conduct the pretest, followed by applying DRTA strategy (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) in experiment class and lecture method in control class. Next, a postest is conducted in both classes. The results showed that in the experimental class there was a difference in the ability to increase from the average pretest score of 65,895 to 83,158 in the postest with the average gain of 0,55 medium category. While the control class is also an increase in average of 67,158 to 73,684 in the postest with an average gain of 0.20 low category. In this study, the DRTA strategy (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) gives a learning skill of 74.7% while 25.7% of student’s reading comprehension skills are caused by other factors. Influence given with very strong relationship level with a correlation coefficient of 0.862.Keywords: DRTA strategy (Directed Reading Thinking Activity), reading comprehension skills

Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted at the business bangkit cake Riau Syempana. This study aims to analyze the level of BEP on bangkit Cake business Riau Syempana 2014 and to determine whether the profit plan that has been achieved with well defined. Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. This research uses break-even analysis and margin of safety analysis, to determine the minimum number of sales and sales in a safe state before the company suffered losses. The results of this study indicate that the number of sales that must be conducted by a minimum of bangkit cake business Riau syempana so as not to incur a loss in 2014 amounting to Rp 119,345,707.66. In 2014 the margin of safety achieved by bangkit cake business riau syempana is 48.04%. To achieve a profit that has been set in the year 2014 in the amount of Rp 55.120.800, then the bangkit cake business Syempana must sell a minimum of Rp 247.236.194,9. Therefore, the analysis of the BEP should be applied in planning corporate profits. Making it easier to analyze the factors that affect the achievement of corporate profits in the future.Key words : Break Even Point, profit planning.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether the proportion of independent commissioners affect the financial performance of the company. For financial performance measured by Retrun on Asset. This study was conducted using secondary data in the form of annual reports of manufacturing companies published on IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange) website during 2013-2015. The sample in this research are 14 food and beverage companies listed in BEI year 2013-2015. Data analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis. Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the effect of activities in student organizations on learning outcomes. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, then the data is tabulated and analyzed using SPSS program. Population in this research are student of class of 2013, 2014, and 2015 FKIP University of Riau Economic Education as many as 52 respondents, and samples taken by census. The research instrument used is questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis used is simple linear regression. The result of the research shows that the activity in student organization affects the students' achievement of FKIP University Economic Education. Based on the result of descriptive analysis, the activity in student organization is quite active as much as 32 students (61,54%), and the result of study that follow student organization is not good enough 2,65-2,96 counted 20 student (38,46%). From the results of simple linear regression analysis obtained constanta value (a) of 4.585 and the value of regression coefficient (b) of 0.019 with regression equation Y = 4,585 - 0,019X. From the results of simple linear regression analysis, there is a negative influence between the activities in student organizations on learning outcomes, it can be concluded that the more activities in student organizations that followed will decrease the learning outcomes. Judging from the calculation of R2 (R Square Change) obtained value of 0.380. It means that the contribution of activity in student organization to learning result is 38%.Keywords: Activities, Student Organization, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : The objectivies of the research are 1) To know students cognitive skills before implementing the gardening project activity at the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. 2) To know students cognitive skills after implementing the gardening project activity at the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. 3) To know whether or not there is significant effect of the gardening project activity toward the student cognitive skills. 4) To know the significant effect implementation of the gardening project activity toward students cognitive skills among the age of 5-6 years old at the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. This research is an experimental research conducted to know the effect of a variable toward another variable in controlled condition. The subject of the research was the students at the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru from the age of 5-6 years old in class B2. There are 19 students in class B2. In collecting data of the research, the writer used observation and documentation. From the research finding, it was concluded that: 1) the students cognitive skill among the age of 5-6 years old the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru, before implementing the activity of the gardening project activity were classified as began to develop. It means that, in classically skills are still low. The obtained 48,68%. 2) The student cognitive skills among the age of 5-6 years old at the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru after implementing the activity of the gardening project activity were classified as develop, based on the writer’s expectation. It means, in classically or in generally the students cognitive skills are good. The obtained 77,50%. 3) Implementing the gardening project activity has significant effect toward the students cognitive skills among the age of 5-6 years old at the state kindergarten Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. This can be know that there is significant difference of enhacement from the students cognitive skills before and after treatment. The gardening project activity has significant affect 56,16% toward the students cognitive skills among the age of 5-6 years old at the state kindergarten of Pembina 3 Pekanbaru.Key word : The Gardening Project Activity, Cognitive Skills

Abstract

Abstract: this research is conducted by the low of social science learning result from IIIB class of SDN 27 Pekanbaru. The KKM in the school about 75. There are 28 students in the class but only 7 students (25,00%) passed, and the other 21 students (75,00%) did not pass. With class scores 58,96. This research use Classroom Action Research, which is consisted by 2 times reguler study at class and 1 time exam. There are 28 students of SDN 27 Pekanbaru, 16 male students and 12 female students. The purpose of this research is to increase score of students grade by apply cooperative learning model of word square. The average result of this reserach at the first cycle increased to score is achieved 58,96 increasing 18,41% to be 69,82. At the second cycle the average student score have increase too about 40,52% to be 82,85. The clasical base score of social science mayor 25,00% (not passed). After cooperative learning model of word square applied in the first cycle the result increased 60,71% (still not passed) and the second cycle also increased 89,29% (passed). The teacher’s activity in first cycle was 62,50% with bad category, and increased 91,66% with very good category second cycle. The first cycle of student’s activity was 62,50% with bad category and increased 87,50% with very good category at second cycle.Key Words: word square, learning result of social science

Abstract

Abstact: The research aims to find out whether the implementation of two stay two stray (TSTS) method can improve social sciense learning results of class V student in SD Negeri 016 Sekeladi. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) with the research subjects are class V students which amounts to 24 students. The data collection techniques used is observation and tests. The research concluded that social sciense learning which using two stay two stray (TSTS) method can improve the teacher’s activity, student’s activity and social science learning result. At the first meeting of cycle I, the teacher’s activity percentage was 56,26% and categorized enouhg, at the second meeting the percentage increased to be 75% and categorized good. For cycle II at the first meeting the percentage was 81,25% and categorized very good, at the second meeting increased to be 91,66% and categorized very good. Then for student’s activity cycle I at the first meeting the percentage was 72,91% and categorized good, in the second meeting the percentage was 89,58% and categorized very good. The student’s social science learning result from the average grades before action (basic score) was 60,75 increased at cycle I to be 69,79 with the percentage increase by 14,88% and at cycle II the average grades increased to be 73,54 with the percentage increase by 21,05% from the basic score by 60,75.Keywords: Cooperative Type TSTS, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : Based on analysis of LKS, it was found that the LKS used only contain a question without student activities and worksheets only presented in the form of a sentence without a clear picture of student understanding. This study aims to determine the feasibility of LKS in mathematics in grade 5 of primary school to the volume of cubes and beams. This type of research is the development of research. LKS developed using models ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), but limited to the stage of development alone. The data collected is data validation and the results of the test are limited. Collecting data using validation sheet worksheets, tests and questionnaires. LKS has been designed, validated by a validator 5 in terms of both areas of the field of language, content, media and penggguna. limited trial conducted in SD IT AL-Fityah Pekanbaru. LKS validation of the results obtained an average of 94.74 with a very decent category. After LKS validated, then the test is limited to see the effectiveness of LKS developed. Data obtained from limited test is N-Gain and student response. Results N-Gain obtained a score of 0.43 if 0.3 <0.43 <0.7 categorized as normal. From the results of the questionnaire students get a good category with an average score of 85.05.Keywords : Development, LKS, ADDIE

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning cooperative technique Think Pair Share (TPS) model. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The research subject of this research is student of class VIII3 SMPN 17 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 39 students, consist of 23 boys and 16 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (43,59%)to the first test (56,41%) to the second test II (61,53%). For the skills of basic score (38,46%) to the first test (43,59%) to the second test (64,10%), Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning cooperative technique Think Pair Share (TPS) model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIII3 SMPN 17 Pekanbaru the second academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter Circle.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Learning Cooprative Technique Think Pair Share (TPS)
