Abstract

Abstract: The capacity of the small motor is organizing the use of a group of small muscles like the fingers and hands that often requires precision and eye-hand coordination, these skills include the use of the tools to work and small objects or control of the machine, for example in the drawing. Finger Painting is the type of activity create an image that is done by scraping the dough color (color porridge) directly with your fingers freely above the plane of the image, limit finger here are all the fingers, palms, wrists up. The hypothesis of this study is a significant difference Finger Painting on the fine motor skills in drawing in children aged 5-6 years at Tk Flamboyant Village Resources Datar Regency Kuantan District of Singingi Singingi. Comparison of before and after, it can be seen that most of the fine motor skills in a drawing activity before and after treatment increased initially categorized began to grow, increased to develop according to expectations. To create a statistical test, then tested the prerequisite as much as 3 test requirements, namely: homogeneity, normality test and linearity test. Of the three tests, linearity test does not qualify. Therefore, perform the Wilcoxon test. It can be tested from the Wilcoxon test showed, for n = 17 error level of 5% (test 2 sides), then t table = 35. Therefore the number of levels that are of little value was 0.0 and the value of t table = 35, also 0.0 <35, so Ha is received. Thus, it can be concluded that the finger painting has a significant influence on the fine motoric abilities of children in drawing activities. Means in this penenlitian there are significant fine motor skills in drawing children before and after finger painting in kindergarten Falmaboyant Singingi Kuantan. According to the table acquisition criteria score of N-gain, it is known that the limit of 0.36 in middle category. That is, a modest increase in the fine motor skills of children in activities to draw from pretest to posttest.

Abstract

Abstract: Transmigration can be seen as one of the elements of an experimental framework which is very important in land use efforts in Indonesia. This is attributed to the explosion of the population in Java and Bali. Therefore one of the allegations in Indonesia that the target of trasmigration is the population of Java. One of the areas that became the center of transmigration was the Village of Bungaraya. The purpose of this study is 1) To find out the forms of livelihoods of local communities and Javanese transmigrant communities in Bungaraya. 2) To find out the economic development of the local transmigrants and Javanese transmigrants in the village of Bungaraya. 3) To see the socio-economic differences of the local people and transmigrants from Java. As for this study using qualitative and quantitative methods and data obtained from the results of interviews coupled with questionnaire / consensus questionnaire and data from the Bungaraya Village office. The results of this study are that there are enormous benefits to the socio-economic and even cultural aspects of the community both from the transmigration community from Java and the local community. In addition, the mindset of the community both from the transmigration community from Java and the local community has progressed as can be seen from changes in health education. the more advanced.Key Words:Change , Social, Culture, Economy, Transmigration

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by his many communities that did not participate in legislative elections, especially in the village of Pauh as many as 415 people (42.13%). The problems in this study is whether the factors affecting low public political participation in legislative elections in 2014 in the village of Pauh Subdistrict Moro Karimun. This study aims to determine the factors that influence people's political participation in legislative elections in 2014 in the village of Pauh Subdistrict Moro Karimun. By using the technique according to Suharsimi Arikunto obtained 67 votes as a community sample of this research. Data collection techniques through the inquiry, documentation, interviews and literature. The results of this research are the main factors causing Pauh Village community do not participate in legislative elections that cynicism factor percentage that is equal to 73.88%. Then in one after another by a factor stimulating the participation that is equal to 73.14%. Furthermore, political awareness factor that is equal to 68.66%. Further factors of social and economic status that is equal to 62.31%. And the last factor is the weakest apathy factor that is equal to 57.96%. Key Words: Participation In Politics, Elections

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve science learning outcomes of students through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in students Grades V SDN 46 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2013/2014. This study was conducted in December 2013 by the number of 25 students, 15 male students and 10 female students. This study design is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Parameters are measured, student learning outcomes, student activities, and teacher activities. While the research instrument used was a sheet items and observation of student activity sheets and teachers' activities. The observation of the first cycle was a good teacher showed activity (percentage 71.43%) and in accordance with the plan, for the second meeting of the teacher's activities are categorized either (roughly 78.57%). For the second cycle teachers increased activity observed with very good category (percentage 92.86%) and in accordance with the plan, for the activity of the second meeting of the second cycle teachers also increased with very good category (percentage of 96.42%). While the observation of student activities are already well on the first meeting (percentage 71.43%), the activity of the second meeting of students categorized as good (roughly 85.71%). For the second cycle students increased activity observed with very good category (percentage 89.29%) and student activity also increased with the category very well at the last meeting (percentage 92.86%). Based on the analysis of data from the study, the average elementary student score before applying CTL is 59.2 then increased to 72.64 in the first cycle and increased again to 81.12 in the second cycle. It can be concluded that with the implementation of CTL can improve student learning outcomes IPA in students Grades V SDN 46 Pekanbaru.Key words : Approach Science Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Science _Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the percentage of scientific literacy dimensions and character education content in science textbooks for junior high school grade IX. This research was carried out in Study Program Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University in June-November 2019. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The research subjects is textbooks of Integrated Sciences for SMP/MTs grade IX, 2013 Curriculum revised 2018 published by Erlangga. The research instrument was the form of an assessment sheet of scientific literacy dimensions based on total of statements and the appearance of indicators along an instrument for data collection on character education content. The research was divided into 2 phases, that is the phase analysis of scientific literacy and inventory of character education content. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical methods. The results showed that highest percentage of dimensions of scientific literacy based on total of statements contained in dimensions of science as a way investigasting at 43,05%. Based on the appearance of the indicator, only the dimensions of science as the body of knowledge have good criteria with a percentage at 54%. The highest percentage of character education content is in value of hard work at 16.56%. For religious values, tolerance, love peace and social care are not found in the textbooks. The results of this research can be used in the development of science textbooks based on the content of dimensions of scientific literacy and the content of character education.Key Words: Scientific Literacy, Character Education, Textbook

Abstract

Abstract:Based on interviews with some of the Social Rehabilitation Center Staff Children in Need of Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Jalan Rumbai Coastal School, Rumbai Beach, Pekanbaru, did not pay much attention to the dynamics and performance of staff in running the program, often authoritarian, unwilling to know, such as not accepting the opinions of subordinates, not responding the opinions of his subordinates. This type of research used in this research is descriptive using a quantitative approach. According to Sugiyono (Sugiyono: 2014: 49) This descriptive research aims to provide a systematic description of the situation that occurs in the research project, Leadership Style in Improving the Performance of Staff of the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Rumbai" Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all staff members of the Children's Social Rehabilitation Center Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Pekanbaru "Rumbai" with a total of56 people. Based on data analysis and research results, it was concluded that the leadership style of the head of the Social Rehabilitation Center Staff Needs Special Protection "Tassel" ie. The highest leadership style is the Democratic leadership style with the acquisition of an average percentage value (SS + S) of 74.6%. That the democratic leadership style indicator is seen from the average response of respondents is quite good, because according to BRSAMPK Staff, it was found that the coordination of leaders, members participated more than leaders, rather than leaders, before making decisions first members asked for opinions of leaders.KeyWords: Leadership Style, Staff Performance

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the low outcomes study of mathematical  of students class XI MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The purposes of this research are (1) to describe the difference of mathematical outcomes study of students who study through discovery learning (DL) model with student who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching; (2) to describe the improvment of mathematical outcomes study of students who study through discovery learning (DL) model with students who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching. This research is an experimental research (quasi experiment) with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is all students of class XI MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research consits of two classes, class XI MIA2 as experiment class and XI MIA1 as control class. The research instruments are mathematical prior knowledge test and matehmatical outcomes study test. Mathematical prior knowledge test score were used to select the sample of this research. Data were analysed by using Independent sample t-test preceded by normality test and homogenity of variances test. The result showed that the difference of mathematical and the improvement of mathematical outcomes study of students who study through DL model is higher than student who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching.  Key Words: Discovery Learning, Mathematical Outcomes Study

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine the quality of liquid waste in PekanbaruAnimal Slaughterhouse and produced a handout the topic of waste and wastemanagement for Senior High School grade X. This research was conducted in the Ecology and Aquatic Environment Management Laboratory of Fisheries and Marine Faculty, Experiment and Analysis Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, Microbiology Laboratory of Medical Faculty at Riau University. The sample of this research was taken at waste water treatment plantin PekanbaruAnimal Slaughterhouse.The research was conducted on May until November2019. This research was conducted in two stages, namely analysis stage of liquid waste quality in PekanbaruAnimal Slaughterhouseand design a handout stage.The technique of data retrieval was conducted by using exploratory research, survey method for collecting the data, technique of determine the sample was purposive sampling. The parameters of this research were total coliform, BOD, COD, TSS and ammonia. The result showed that the liquid waste quality of PekanbaruAnimal Slaughterhouseoverall classified was not good where the total coliform, TSS, BOD, and COD gotresults more than the quality standards and the ammonia parameter of liquid waste was appropriate with the quality standards required by the Minister of Environment Regulation Number 5 of 2014. Based on analysis of the result, there was designed a handout the topic of waste and waste management for Senior High School grade X.Key Words: Animal Slaughterhouse, Handout, Liquid Waste

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research was aimed to find out if the use ofCooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Method could improve thewriting ability of the second year students of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The participants were31 students. The procedures applied were: (a) dividing students into pairs, (b) askingstudents to read to each other the story, (c) asking students to correct their teammates’error, (d) asking students to answer the questions related to the story in team, (e) askingstudents to pronounce the difficult words listing, (f) asking students to find the meaningof the difficult words listing, (g) asking students to write a draft composition ofnarrative texts related to the passage, (h) asking students to edit one’s another’s workby using peer editing, (i) asking students to finish their writing based on theirteammates’ revision. The data was collected by using of tests, observation sheets, andfield notes. The level of achievement in this research was 85, based on the standardminimum criteria of achievement of English subject in SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. Theresearch finding showed that the implementation of applying CIRC as the teachingmethod could improve students’ writing ability both at the first, second, and third cycle.Based on the data analysis that is obtained, the students’ score was improve from 60,32in the pre-test, to 74,62 in post-test 1, to 83,29 in post-test 2, and up to 87,68 in post-test3. Therefore, the implementation of CIRC method could improve students’ writingability of the second year students of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru.Keywords: CIRC Method , Writing Ability, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to test the validity of experimental devices and experimental devices with Rnd method. Validity test was conducted at the Learning Media Development Laboratory of Physics Education Study Program of Physics Education Department of PMIPA Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. This research was conducted from April to June 2017. With 3 lecturers validator who are experts in magnetism materials and 2 junior high school teachers who are also experts in the material. Type research is Research and Development (R & D). Research and Development (R & D) is a research method used to produce a particular product, and test the effectiveness of the product by using several stages. Magnetic props consist of 8 pieces of props with the concept of magnetism in SMP materials. The data collected in this research is primary data, that is the result of the validation assessment given by the validator to the researcher The data collection technique in this research is the validation of magnetic props done by presenting some experts or experienced experts to assess new product Designed. The experimental data validation experimental data collection technique will be validated twice, where the first validation is done by giving the correction sheet to the validator, then the validator gives suggestions for the improvement of the experimental device. The second validation is done by giving the scoring sheet to some validators. Furthermore the validator will provide an assessment of the experimental device in accordance with the indicators or aspects that have been made on the assessment instrument. The results of all assessments by validators show 8 magnetic props generating values in very good categories on the likert scale and highly valid on the index (r), so it is worth using as a medium of learning in junior highKeywords: validity, magnetic, magnetic props, Rnd
