Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the improvement of the students motivation learning physic by applying REACT model of Contextual learning.This pre-experimental research used one group pretest and posttest design. There were 35 students of clas XI IPA I SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru have participated in this research. We used modification ARCS question one of motivation as instrument in collecting data, before and after treatment. The data were analyzed descriptive by using N-Gain. From the data, we found that N-Gain score in high category for all indicators. And, we can conclude that REACT model have improved students motivation in learning physis especially for class XI IPA I students of SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru.Key Words: ARCS, Learning Physics, REACT model

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the importance of the nation character practice for learners. And environment as well as good construction can help learners to have a national character, such as environmental practices and the construction of boarding schools and families. The problem of this study “is there a differences between the practice of national character students living with parents and living in a dorm at SMK Pertanian Terpadu Pekanbaru. Character education is now considered essential to be applied so that the inclusion in the curriculum in 2013 but through practice in addition to the natio’s character education curriculum implemented. Parties boarding school and parents also play a role in helping students to have a practice of the natio’s character. The population in this study is the students of class X and XI SMK Pertanian Terpadu Provinsion of Riau. The sample of this study in accordance with the determination of the number of samples developed by Roscoe were 60 respondents from a population of 585 students. Document were collected through observation techniques, questionnaires and  studies to library. In analyzing the document using descriptive statistic and quantitative analysis using the formula t_test. From the analysis of the document concluded that : 1) Practice of national character students living with parents and students who live in dormitories SMK Pertanian Terpadu Pekanbaru aqually as very good, 2) Based on statistical analysis of the data showed no significant difference between the practice of national charcter students living with parents and students who live in dormitories SMK Pertanian Terpadu Pekanbaru. Keywords : Practice of national character, students who live with parents, students living in dormitories

Abstract

Abstract: This research is done in SMA Negeri 2 Dumai, with the purpose is to analyze how influence of social and economic condition of parents to motivation continuity education of student in XII class of SMA Negeri 2 Dumai. The population in this analyze are all students of XII class SMA Negeri 2 Dumai which amounted to 279 students. Randomly sampling as many as 75 students. Technique of collecting is done through questionnaire technique and using primary and secondary data. The analyzed using hypothesis, simultaneous test (Test F), Coefficient of Determination (R2), partial test (Test t) and multiple linear regression. There are 2 variables ; social and economic condition of parent. The results showed that the influence of social and economic condition of parent are influence to motivation continuity of education of student . This means that the independent variables together affect the dependent variable. Furthermore, based on the partial test (t test) it can be seen that only the variable economic condition of parents affecting the level of education of children is shown with significance 0.011 while other variables have no effect. Every parent is expected to pay attention to their children's education because children who have education usually have a thinking forward pattern for the welness of their families and parents this is crucial role in decision-making for children school.Keywords: Social Condition, Economic Condition, Motivation Continuing Education.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMotivation to learn is the mental strength that encourages learning. Motivation can be effective if done with attention to the needs of the students. Thus teachers should equip themselves with various skills that are expected to assist in carrying out its duties in educational interaction. Teaching basic skills is a skill that is an absolute must have in this case the teacher. Teaching the basic skills of the teacher is questioning skills, skills provide reinforcement, keterampila n hold variations, explaining skills, skills to open and close the lesson, the skills to guide small group discussions, classroom management skills, and teaching skills of small group and individual discussions. Ownership is expected to teach basic skills to optimize the role of the teacher in the classroom.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teaching the basic skills of teachers and the indicators on student motivation. Research using multiple regression method. Simultaneous testing showed the value of f count test (5.789)> from f table (2.078) at 5% significance basic skills teaching economics teacher influence on student motivation. Partial test showed that the asked basic skill (X1), advanced questioning skill(X2),  provide skill reinforcement(X3), skills to guide small group discussions teaching (X7), skills of small group discussions and individual (X9) had no effect on student motivation (Y) . While other skills, namely: skills held variations  (X4), explaining skills(X5),  opening and closing skills lessons classroom (X6), management skills (X8) effect on student motivation (Y). Keywords: Teaching basic skills, learning Motivation

Abstract: Mandailing tribe is one of tribes located in Rokan Hulu Regency. Mandailing tribe in Rokan Hulu regency is an immigrant tribe from North Sumatera Province involved in civil war in Padang Galugur area to settle and live in Rokan Hulu District. The purpose of this research is 1) To know the history of entry of Mandailing tribe in Regency of Rokan Hulu Regency. 2) To know the factors inhibiting and pushing the entry of Mandailing tribe into Rokan Hulu District 3) To know the acceptance of local people to the entry of Mandailing tribe to Rokan Hulu regency 4) To know the role of government in the development of Mandailing tribe in Rokan Hulu regency. In this research using descriptive method, with qualitative approach, where it will provide complete information so that it is useful for science. The results of this study indicate that the Mandailing tribe is one part of the tribe that is in Rokan Hulu district. Who has long lived and lived in Rokan Hulu district from the days of the Kingdom of Rambah and Tambusai to the present time. Abstract

Abstrak: This research is backgrounded by the scout organization under the University environment, due to unnecessary and irregular student schedule which where the student yag has become a member rarely participate in the activity. The formulation of this research problem is how the process of organizing the Riau University scout front group? Know how the process of organizing Scout University of Riau in the world of Organizations that take refuge under Higher Education. This organizing indicator is a function of organizing, organizing process, organizing principles, and organizing principles. This data collection uses documentation, observation, and interview techniques. Abstract

Abstract: The new Indonesia gained independence should return to face the Netherlands who want to re-colonize Indonesia. NICA coming to Indonesia is trying to arm the Royal Nerderlands Indisch Leger (KNIL), the Dutch royal army to Indonesia, with the aim of provocation and terror against the people of Indonesia. In addition to the military, the Netherlands is also planning to create a form of federation in Indonesia that aims to weaken the Republic of Indonesia one of which is the State of East Indonesia. But the Dutch effort to establish the State of East Indonesia should be blocked, because the situation in South Sulawesi were not safe it is caused by the people's resistance against the Dutch and Allied soldiers who refused the Dutch presence in South Sulawesi. The purpose of this study were (1) to know who Raymond Westerling, (2) to know the background of the Dutch established the State of East Indonesia, (3) to determine the people's resistance against the Dutch in South Sulawesi, (4) to determine the Dutch strategy in the face popular resistance in South Sulawesi, (5) to determine the role of slaughter Westerling of the establishment of the State of East Indonesia, (6) to find out the Dutch and Indonesian government action against the slaughter Westerling, (7) to determine the end of the State of East Indonesia. The method used is the method Historically, the data collected through technical literature and technical documentation. In analyzing the data is used dekriftif qualitative. Results from this study is that the Federal State of East Indonesia can stand, then the Netherlands need to create a safe state in South Sulawesi. To achieve this goal, then sent troops Westerling and Depot Speciale Troepen to quell popular resistance, and how that is done by Westerling is to carry out the slaughter/killing people in South Sulawesi. Westerling massacres and DST troops in South Sulawesi can extinguish the resistance of the people that made the Netherlands could be immediately set up the State of East Indonesia is the administrative center of MakassarKey Words: Westerling, DST, NIT.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning with curriculum 2013 in 5 th grade students at sdn 111 pekanbaru. As for the benefits of this research is to improve the quality and the quality of learning in implementing learning with curriculum 2013 in 5 th grade students at sdn 111 pekanbaru. Where the implementation of this research is class country vb sdn 111 pekanbaru whereas when the research process from april 2015 in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. This form of research is descriptive qualitative research. As for who is the subject of this study is one teacher class vb sdn 111 pekanbaru. Data collection techniques in this study observation and documentation. While the technique of data analysis: data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. Implementation of learning that teachers as a whole are in accordance with the curriculum 2013. Implementation of learning undertaken by teacher very good. Some shortcoming in implementation ; delivery of learning steps that teachers never explain to students what are the steps that will be passed during the learning proces, In evaluating the teacher does not provide evaluation questions to students, teachers also rarely collect the student’s work as a student portofolio, the follow up of teachers Failed to give follow-up is motivating students to learn the material at home, on the implementation of the scientific approach is still lagging 1st stage teachers are at the stage to question, on the implementation of authentic assessment of teachers did not do so during the learning process. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of service control of the content of the students' self confidence isolated grade X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru from March 2016 to May 2016. The method used is a method of real-experimental with patterns pretest-posttest control group design. Research subjects in this study were students of class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru isolated. Data collection instrument was a questionnaire using Likert scale. Data analysis technique used is the technique of statistical correlation. Based on the results of Wilcoxon test is apparently a difference confidence isolated students before and after the implementation of sociodramas of 26.6%. Furthermore, after the comparison between the experimental group and the control group by Mann-Whitney test results there are significant differences confidence isolated students in the experimental group with the confidence of students isolated students in the control group.Keywords: Service mastery of content, isolated student's confidence.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to increase students results implementation of the use of teaching materials in the form of pocket books on subject acid base in XI MIA SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. Instrument in this research is a question of acid base compounds that has been test validation and reliability. Results showed instrument is valid and reliable. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI MIA 1 as the experimental class, XI MIA 2 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with implementation of the use of teaching materials in the form of pocket books while the control group without implementation of the use of teaching materials in the form of pocket books. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 1,92 and ttable = 1,67 with α = 0,05, dk = 70, tcount > ttable is 3,07 > 1,67, It’s mean implementation of the use of teaching materials in the form of pocket books can improve students results on the subject acid base in XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Acid Basa, Pocket Book, Results Learning
