Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the rampant juvenile delinquency that occurs at school. Juvenile delinquency at school age is very vulnerable to occur because students are still looking for their true identity and are very easily influenced by the community environment. As for the title of the study "the influence of juvenile delinquency on learning outcomes of PPKn subjects in class XI State Senior High School 2 Tapung, Kampar Regency". The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of juvenile delinquency on learning outcomes of PPKn subjects in class XI State Senior High School 2 Tapung, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of juvenile delinquency on learning outcomes of PPKn subjects in class XI State Senior High School 2 Tapung, Kampar Regency. The questionnaire in this study amounted to 60 respondents. The instruments of data collection are observation, questionnaire, documentation and interview. Data with quantitative descriptive analysis. Learning outcomes in the form of UTS scores are categorized very poorly in the range between 0 -49. Furthermore, from the influence of juvenile delinquency on learning outcomes, the F count is greater than the F table, so Ho is rejected. Then it can be concluded that there is an influence of juvenile delinquency on learning outcomes of PPKn subjects in class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Tapung, Kampar Regency. The contribution of juvenile delinquency to student learning outcomes PPKn class XI by 15.8%.Key Words: Influence, Juvenile Delinquency, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract:This research aimed to produce comic media with guided inquiry models based on scientific literacy on circulatory system in humans for grade VIII junior high school students. It had been done in SMPN 4 Pekanbaru and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Biology in University of Riau on April of October 2019. This typeofresearch was a Reseach and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages namely analyze, design, development, implement, and evaluate. This research only reached the development stage by conducting validation by validators and limited trials in stages I and II. The data obtained were analyzed statistically descriptive. The evaluation of the developed comic media includes 6 aspects, namely aspects of comic content, aspects of linguistic / communication, aspects of presentation, aspects of overall appearance, aspects of guided inquiry, and aspects of scientific literacy. The results of the average validationwith a guided inquiry model based on science literacy gained a score of 3.47 in the very valid category. The average results of the limited trial phase I get a score of 96.42% with a very good category and a limited trial phase II get a score of 94.28% with a very good category. Based on these data it can be concluded that the development of comic media with a guided inquiry model based on scientific literacy in the material of the circulatory system in humans for grade VIII junior high school students gets very valid and very good categories so that it is appropriate to be used as a source of learning and can be implemented in the learning process at school.KeyWords: Comic Media, Guided Inquiry, Scientific Literacy, the Material of Circulatory System In Human

Abstract

Abstract: Based on field observations, it can be seen that the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers in children aged 4-5 years has not developed optimally. So it is necessary to apply game board. This study aims to determine the effect of game board on the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers in children aged 4-5 years in Fatimah Islamic Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This study used an experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were children aged 4-5 years. The sample in this study was group A totaling 15 children. The data collection technique used is observation. The data analysis technique in this study used the t-test. The results of this research hypothesis test were obtained t = 11,635 with (Sig. 2- tailed) = 0.00 <0.05, which means that there was a significant increase after using the labyrinth game during the learning process. The influence given by the use of game board games on the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers in children aged 4-5 years in the Fatimah Islamic Kindergarten in Pekanbaru is 55.88% in the medium categoryKey Words: Board, Number Symbol

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low learning result of IPS class V SDN 5 Tanjung Punak on IPS subjects. Can be seen from the Minimum Criteria of Completeness (KKM) established by the school that is 70, from 21 students of class V that reach KKM is 7 students (33.33%) and who do not reach KKM is 14 students (66.67%) with average class 60.28. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of IPS students class V SDN 5 Tanjung Punak with the application of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together. This study presents the learning results obtained from Daily Deuteronomic values before the action with an average of 60.28 increased to 77.48 in cycle I, and increased again to 80.95 in cycle II. Teacher activity in first cycle of first meeting was 58% with sufficient criteria, second meeting with value 71% with good criterion. In the first cycle of the first meeting, teacher activity was 79% with good criteria, and at the second meeting was 87% with very good criteria. Student activity on first cycle of first meeting is 63% with good criterion, second meeting is 67% with good criterion. In the first cycle of the first meeting, the student activity was 79% with good category, and at the second meeting was 83% with very good criteria. Based on the results of this study, it can be proved that the application of cooperative learning model numbered heads together can improve the learning outcomes of IPS students of grade 5 SDN 5 Tanjung Punak.Keywords: numbered heads together, IPS learning result

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The problem in this research is still low ability athletes dribbling soccer SSB Bantar Muda, who allegedly due to lack of agility and speed. Thus, this study aims to describe the contribution of agility and speed either individually or jointly. With the dribbling ability of football athletes Muda Stars SSB 2015. The study population was a football athlete SSB Bantar Muda in 2015, amounting to 75 people. Sampling was done by using sampling porpusive ie age group 17 to 20 years of age who berjulamlah 30 people, the instrument is used; (1) test zig-zag run, to measure the agility variable, (2) a test run of 50 yards (45 meters) to measure the variable speed, (3) test capability to measure a variable dribbling dribbling skills. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation and multiple correlation with the formula determined. The aim of research shows; (1) there is a significant relationship between agility with dribbling skills, agility, contributing 43.30% to the dribbling skills, (2) there is a significant correlation between the speed with dribbling skills. 24.21% contribution rate, (3) there is a significant relationship between agility and speed together with dribbling skills, agility and speed contributed to the ability of dribbling 43.59%.Keywords : Agility, Speed, Dribbling

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is the research done in the classroom in order to improve or enhance the quality of teaching practices. The subject of research is PAUD Harapan Insani Desa Permai Island District of Mine which amounted to 14 people consisting of 6 boys and 8 girls. Collecting data using observation and documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that 1) How to improve gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Harapan Insani namely by making class actions performed using two cycles as in one cycle there are three meetings so that the overall movement and songs applied for 6 meetings. 2) Application of the motion and the song is able to improve gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Harapan Insani as gross motor skills in children increases every cycle in the first cycle obtained a value of 64.1% with the criteria pretty well (CB) and the second cycle obtained a value of 79.8% with good criterion (B). 3) The percentage increase in gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years with the implementation of early childhood movement and song in Human Hope can be seen from the Pre cycle or before application to the second cycle. On the preliminary data obtained an average percentage of 45.1%. While the value of the first cycle to 64.1%. and the second cycle subsequent increase to the value of 79.8%. Where an increase in gross motor skills of children obtained prior to action for the first cycle increased by 42.1%. While the increase in gross motor skills in children from the first cycle to cycle II of 24.4%, and the overall increase in gross motor skills of children from the initial data to cycle II of 76.9%. Based on the research results obtained, the authors will provide some suggestions that 1) For schools that can always improve learning facilities in order to facilitate the learning process. 2) For the teacher in order to develop learning activities that motivate children more creative can improve gross motor skills in children. learning methods should attract the attention of children such as the implementation of research activities and track movement of children prefer to perform gross motor movements.Keywords : Motor ability Rough Kids, Motion And Songs

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at developing English instructional tools (lesson plan and students’ worksheet) by applying inquiry-based learning as one of the learning model suggested in the 2013 curriculum and to find out the validity level of developing English lesson plan and students’ worksheet by applying inquiry-based learning in teaching recount texts for the first year students of SMA. This research is a developmental research using 4-D Model by Thiagarajan (1974). To develop lesson plan and students’, there were three stages involve in this research, (a) define stage which is done to collecting various information relating to the product to be developed., (b) design stage which is done to plan the draft of instructional tools and arranged it into the right format and (c) develop stage which is done to validate and try-out the instructional tools. In order to find out the validity level of developing instructional tools, the data were collected using validation sheet of lesson plan, validation sheet of students’ worksheet validated by experts and students response questionnaire. Based on data analysis result, the validation score of lesson plan is 95,14% and the validation score of students’ worksheet is 93,56% and the average score of students’ response is 96,36%. The result showed that the instructional tools in the form of lesson plan and students’ worksheet were very valid and can be implemented for the first year students of SMA.Key Words: Developing, Lesson Plan, Students’ Worksheet, Inquiry-Based Learning, Recount Texts

Abstract

Abstract: The aimof this research was to know whether or not Think-Pair-Share technique could improve students’ ability in writing recount texts and how it could improve the ability. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles to 34 students of X-2Class of SMAN 03 Pekanbaru as the participant of this research. The data were collected through written test, observation sheet, and field note. This research findings found that Think-Pair-Share technique could improve the students’ ability in writing recount texts. Students’ mean score improved from 54.46 in pre-test to 65.14 in post-test 1, and to 77.64 in post-test 2. It is in line with the activeness of students that improved from 46.08% in cycle 1 to 86.26% in cycle 2. Think-Pair-Share technique helped students in writing the recount texts. It analyzes each part of generic structure of recount text. Think-Pair-Share strategy could motivate the students during teaching and learning process. This research recommended that teachers to use Think-Pair-Share to find out the different effect after using this cooperative learning technique than a conventional technique.Key words: Think Pair Share Technique, writing ability, recount text

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the improvement of students' understanding of physics concepts in the interpretation of the indicator by using contextual learning at class XI SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka. The expected benefits of this research was to provide alternative learning to improved students' understanding of physics concepts and maximize the performance of teachers in achieving educational goals. This research was conducted on October 2014 to February 2015. The type of this research was a quasy experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects were two classes of XI IA at SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka there were class XI IA 1 as a control class with 23 students and class XI IA 2 as an experimental class with 24 students. From the data obtained there were differences in absorption and gain scores between the control and experimental classes. The average of absorption experiment class was 73.26% in medium category, while the average of absorption in the control class was 50.54% that was included in the category of very low. For the average of Gain score experimental class was 0.46 that was included in the medium category, while the average of Gain score control class was 0.13 that was included in the low category. So it can be concluded that contextual learning provided the improvement on students’ understanding of physics concepts interpretation indicators at class XI SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka.Keywords: understanding physics concepts, interpretation indicators, contextual learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether or not there is significant effect of Mind Mapping Technique on the Ability of the First Year Students of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru in Writing Descriptive Texts. The research design is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample was VII-3 chosen by using cluster random sampling technique. In order to collect the data, the pre-test and post-test were administered and then the data were statistically analyzed by using the t-test formula. The result showed that the mean score of post-test was higher than mean score of pre-test (67.14 > 59.24). The value of t-test was 12.523 while the value of t-table in significance level 5% df = 35 was 2.030. Since the value of the t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that there was significant effect of Mind Mapping Technique on the Ability of the First Year Students of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru in Writing Descriptive Texts.Key Words: Effect, Mind Mapping, Writing Ability, Descriptive Text
