Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research’s title is Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency. The research’s problems are (1) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in delivering implicit message, (2) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in building imagination, (3) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in using figurative language, (4) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in using connotation language, (5) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai Rokan Hulu Regency in using figure of a language. The method is descriptive. The data collection technique in this research is used test technical. The population is 184 students and the sample of this research is 46 students by random. To analyze this research used average formulation by using criteria in reaching competence. The analysis the research’s data is done to (1) 46 essays Suggestive Narration implicit message, (2) 40 essays Suggestive Narration in imagination’s aspect, (3) 8 essays Suggestive Narration figurative language, (4) 4 essays Suggestive Narration connotation aspect, and (5) 9 essays Suggestive Narration  figure of a language. This research was identification that (1) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in delivering implicit message is high category, (2) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in building imaginations is high category, (3) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in using figurative language is low category, (4) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill in using connotation language is low category, (5) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill in using figure of a language is low category.Keywords         : Skill, Writing,  Suggestive Narration

Abstract

Abstract:The problem in this research is the student achievement of social studies fifth graderes (VC) SDN 35 Petani Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis still low with an average value of 55,28 and minimum completenness criteria (KKM) social studies is 65.The purpose of this research was to improve the students achievement of the fifth graders (VC) SDN 35 Petani Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis with the implementation cooperative learning type talking stick model. This research is Classroom action Research (CAR) with two cycles in second semester 2014/2015. Before implementation of cooperative learning type talking stick model, average from the base score 55,28. After implementation of cooperative learning type talking stick model, UH I was 67,4 that improve 12,12 % from before exam with average 55,28. UH II was 74,8 that improve 19,52 %. Teacher’s activities with the implementation of cooperative learning type talking stick model at first meeting of first cycle was 70,8 % (good category), and second meeting was 75 % (good category). At second cycle, teacher’s activities at first meeting was 87,5 % (good category) and second meeting was 95,83 % (best category). Students activities at first meeting of first cycle was 64,28 % (enough category) and second meeting was 75 % (good category). At second cycles, students activities at first meeting was 85,71(good category) and second meeting was 92,86 % (best category). Implementation cooperative learning type talking stick model can improved social studies students achievement of fifth graderes (VC) SDN 35 Petani Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis.Key Words : Cooperative Type Talking Stick, Social Studies Student’s Achievement.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of Surah Adz-dzariyat verse 56 therapeutic Al-Qur'an on improving the religious character of students at SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was a scale measuring students' religious characters consisting of 60 items before validation, and after validation obtained a number of valid items with 29 items with validity of 0.459 and reliability of 0.832. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having religious characters in the sufficient category. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study proved the research hypothesis was accepted. From the Spearman Rank test results obtained r = 0.908 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.824. Thus there is the effect of Surah Adz-dzariyat verse 56 therapy by 82% on the religious character of students. And the Wilcoxon test results found an acceptable hypothesis. This means that there are differences in the religious character of students before and after the giving of Al-Qur'an therapy surah Adz-dzariyat verse 56.Key Words: Al-Qur'an Therapy, Q.S Adz-dzariyat, Religious Character, Group Guidance

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted in classes VII G SMP 23 Pekanbaru 2015/2016 school year to determine the increase science process skills of students by implementing guided inquiry learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles of planning, execution and observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the science process skills that emphasizes on three areas, namely knowledge, attitudes and skills. Data were collected using tests and observation sheet. The results showed science process skills in every sphere has increased. Science process skills that emphasize cognitive seen from the results of daily tests on the first cycle that 3.05 (B) is increased in the second cycle is 3.15 (B). Students who complete the first cycle of 25 students (64.10%) and increased in the second cycle is 31 (79.49%). On average students' science process skills in the realm of attitudes in the first cycle, namely 2.90 (B) and increased in the second cycle 3.37 (B). Average science process skills of students who emphasize the domain of skills in the first cycle, namely 2.86 (B) and increased in the second cycle is 3.49 (B+). It can be concluded that the application of guided inquiry learning model can improve science process skills class VII G SMP 23 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2015/2016.Keywords: model of guided inquiry, science process skills

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is low of mathematics learning outcomes of class X Farmasi of SMK Kesehatan Pro Skill Indonesia are still under the score of minimum mastery criteria with a percentage of 35% on the test about Matriks. This research is a class action research. That has purpose to improve the learning proses and to increase student’s mathematic learning outcomes by applied cooperative learning with Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Subject of this research are 34 students, consist of 5 male and 29 female student with heterogenous. This research consist of two cycles that each cycle composed of 4 stages, such as planning, implementation, observation and reflection. At every end of a cycle, math achievement test will be held. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collector. The learning devices that involve Syllabus, Lesson Plan, and Worksheet. Instrument data collector that involve the observation sheet and math achievement test. Observation sheets is analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis and math achievement test analyzed by statistic descriptive analysis. The action is successful if the learning process covenient with the lesson plan and the number of students who achieve the score of minimum mastery criteria increase in math achievement test I and II. The descriptive narative showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The learning procces can made the student be active, cooperatife, and responsible. Based on the data analysis, the percentage of students who achieve minimum mastery before the actionis as much as 35% and at first cycleas much as 44% and at second cycleas much as 62%. The result of the research showed that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes also increased after applying Cooperative Learning with STAD.Key Word: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning with STAD, Clasroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstrak: Learning strategies are plans that countain a series of activities designed to achieve certaineducational goals. This research aims as follow know the effect of using green yellow red learning strategies on student learning outcomes in class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. The subject of this study was the students of class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru which consisted of 9 classes wit a total number of students of 318 people. The sample in this study was to use homogeneity test taken 2 class randomly class XI IPA 1 as a control class and class XI IPA 5 as an experimental class. Data is collected through observation, tests and documentation. The design used is the pre-test and post-test in the quasi-experimental design. The results showed that based on the analysis of data acquisition that has been done using the statistical t test obtained price tarithmetic > ttable this proves that green yellow red learning strategies have a significant effect on improving student learningoutcomes with the average acquisition of student learning outcomes is 93.19 %. Based on the analysis of the different t test there are two classed showing tarithmetic > ttable (70.4> 1,99444), added with the contribution of the gain obtained from the experimental class of 0,712 which means it is effective to use. Thus the use of green yellow red learning strategies has a positive and significant impact on student learning outcomes in PPKn subjects in class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Green yellow res learning strategies, learning outcome

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to understand the motivation to study of the year first college students in FKIP department of Japanese Language of Riau University on the subject of Choukai 1. This research used descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The respondents on this research was 38 of the year first student college students in FKIP department of Japanese Language of Riau University. The result suggests that the motivation to study Choukai is considerably high which is based on the also considerably high score percentage of 78.2%. In this research it is known that the motivation to study is divided by two categories which are innate study motivations, and acquired study motivations. the percentage of intrinsic learning motivation scores was 78.64% and the percentage of extrinsic learning motivation scores was 77.6%.Key Words:Motivation, Learning Motivation Choukai

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of social intelligence of citizens studying at PKBM Kak Seto Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is how high the social intelligence of citizens studying at PKBM Kak Seto Pekanbaru?. This study consists of 9 indicators, in accordance with opinions Howard Gardner. The population in this study were 60 people. This research sample uses techniques proporsionate stratified random samplingthat is, sampling is used when members of the population are not homogeneous consisting of homogeneous groups or proportional strata (Sugiyono, 2011:93).The data collection technique in this study was the questionnaire technique, which amounted to 100 statements. Data obtained from respondents totaling 20 people for the trial sample and 36 people for the study sample. After the questionnaire was tested, there were 5 invalid statements, and the researcher discarded invalid statements. Based on the average results of the mean value for the social intelligence variable of citizens learning at PKBM Kak Seto Pekanbaru is classified as high with Mean 3.80 and SD 0.80. The interpretation obtained for each indicator of social intelligence of citizens learning in PKBM Kak Seto Pekanbaru all classified as high, except linguistic intelligence. Even though the results are moderate one is still seenfrom the high average results. So, seen the most dominant of these 9 indicators is interpersonal intelligence. Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of daily test scores obtained from mathematics subject teachers on mathematics induction material for  semester 2019/2020 shows that 14 out of 25 students in class XI MIA 2 Babussalam Pekanbaru High School scored under KKM  which is 70 and the learning process is still dominated by teachers. The learning process is seen as one of the main factors influencing learning outcome so this research aims to improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Activity Sheets) and data collecting instruments (Observation Sheets and Students Mathematic Tests). Data collection techniques in this research used are observation techniques and test techniques. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. Based on the analysis of students and teacher activities after implementation of the Problem Based Learning model, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of learning process. In quantitative analysis, On knowledge competence the percentage of students who can reach KKM on a basic score of 11 students or 44% increased to 15 students or 60% in Cycle I and increased to 17 students or 68% in Cycle II. On skill competence, the percentage of students who can reach KKM on a cycle I score of 12 students or 48% increased to17 students or 68% in Cycle II. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning outcomes in class of XI MIA 2 SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru.  Key  Words:   Mathematics Learning Achievement, Problem Based Learning Model, Classroom Action Researc

Abstract

Abstract: Formulation of the problem in this study is How much is the credibility of the tutor in PKBM Harapan Bangsa, Tambang District, Kampar Regency? How high is the motivation of learning citizens to learn about Equality in Package C education at PKBM Harapan Bangsa, Tambang District, Kampar Regency? Is there a significant positive contribution between the credibility of the tutor on the learning motivation of citizens learning the equality of package C in PKBM Harapan Bangsa, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how much the contribution of tutors' credibility to the motivation of learning in PKBM Harapan Bangsa, This research is a descriptive quantitative research of two variables. The population in this study were residents of package C, as many as 113 residents. Simple Random Sampling sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Tutors' credibility and learning motivation each consists of 40 statements. Tutors' credibility is measured through indicators of expertise, trust, dynamism, sociability, coordination and charismatic. While learning motivation is measured through the existence of desires and desires to succeed, there are encouragement and needs in learning, the hopes and ideals of the future, the appreciation of learning, the existence of interesting activities in learning, the existence of a conducive learning environment. The credibility of the tutor to the learning motivation of citizens learning equality education in Package C in PKBM Harapan Bangsa is relatively high with a mean of 4.25. Based on inferential statistical analysis the tutors' credibility contribution to the learning motivation of learning citizens was obtained at a low of 14.50%. This means that there are still 85.50% caused by other factors not part of this study.Key Words: Contribution, Credibility, Motivation, Learning Citizens
