Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to determine Sialang Jaya Local Wisdom Society in Kaiti river management in December 2014 until February 2015. The research used for the development of the module unit concept of Environmental Conservation Biology learning in Senior High School, in two stages namely stage of Research and Development stage unit module. Collecting data with interviews method with snowball sampling technique with key informants that the Governing Lubuk Larangan, Irish Indigenous Community Leaders. Additionally used methods of observation and documentation techniques. The results showed that the Community Sialang Jaya has a variety of Local Wisdom in managing the river, among others, (1) Planning, Sialang Jaya Society has Local Knowledge (Spatial land use is residential, Lubuk Larangan and  plantations and the determination of the Lubuk Larangan); (2) Utilization, utilize Society to preserve resources for taking fish is prohibited except on designated days and vegetation watersheds.); (3) Control, existence of deterrence, prevention, and recovery through abstinence prohibited.); (4) Maintenance, existence of prevention and preservation through mutual cooperation  Mandurung and Horja to keep the preservation of the river by using Etnoteknologi and believe in the myth.); (5) Supervision, board structure and functions of traditional leaders); (6) Law Enforcement, existence of sanctions for offenders sanctions of society. The results could be used as a unit of learning modules on the concept of Environmental Conservation Biology in Senior High School. Keywords: Local Wisdom, Snowball Sampling, Lubuk Larangan, Module.

Abstract

Abstract: The research was to determine utilization of organic waste with starter fluid cow rumen raw material for biogas production in March and May 2015. Results of the study are used to enrich the teaching materials in the form of  biology modules vocational school Agriculture on the concept of waste management. This research was carried out by two phases: experimentation and enrichment modules. Research conducted experiments using completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 12 experimental design. If there is a real test there will be a further test Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5%. The parameters observed biogas volume, the color of the flame, calor and power. Enrichment module is performed on the stage of analysis and design. The results showed that the use of organic waste with starter fluid cow rumen could potentially produce methane gas as a source of biogas. Treatment A (25% substrate: 75% starter) are best produce biogas with a biogas volume of 11.57 L, color blue flames, calorific value 5670 J and power 132.98 watts for 28 days of fermentation. The results could be used as an module enrichment for biological  subjects Agriculture  vocational school on the concept of waste management. Keywords: Module, Organic Waste, Fluid Cow Rumen, Biogas.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine the sudy of fermentation’s length of black sticky tape alcohol content in March to May 2015, for development of Student Worksheet of biology at the concept of conventional biotechnology class XII in Senior High School. The research was conducted with 2 phases of field research and the development of learning worksheets. Experimental research was conducted by using non factorial completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 15 experimental design. If there isa real test of it will proceed further test DMRT. The observed parameters include alcohol content, temperature, pH and organoleptic texture, smell, color and flavor. The result showed that the fermentation timesignificantly influence the alcohol content of black sticky tape. 120 hours fermentation time was the best fermentation time, which can reach the highest alcohol content with an average of 0,23%. The temperature generated of the black sticky tape ranges between 30,5oC-33,6 oC. pH generated of the black sticky tape ranges between 4,64-3,54. Whereas for organoleptic texture, smell, color and flavor of black sticky tape panelists preferred is the treatment of fermentation 72 hours. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop students worksheet oriented guided inquiry learning model to improve students critical thinking skills on the material circulation system in senior high school class XI. Research conducted at the Campus Biology Education and MAN 1 Pekanbaru from January to June 2015. The research used in this study refers to the development of R & D research approach using ADDIE model. Subjects were Basic Competency (KD) 3.6 biological material. The research begins with an analysis of the curriculum, syllabus and students worksheets compiled by MGMP. Then the students worksheet designed in accordance with the guided inquiry learning model and developed students worksheet with the model that aims to improve students critical thinking skills. Students worksheet draft I, which has been produced subsequently validated by 5 people validator, they are two education experts, two experts of the material and 1 teacher MA. Aspects assessed validation consisted of 3 aspects namely, the design aspect, pedagogical aspect and content aspect. After validated, than this students worksheet repaired appropriate the advice and input of the validator and the resulting draft worksheets II. Further trials conducted limited by spreading the questionnaire responses of the students MAN 1 Pekanbaru on 26 students of class XI IPA. Determination of class research determined randomly. Then do the revisions back to the students worksheet appropriate the advice and input of test results is limited resulting in critical thinking students worksheet final. The Reseacrh data result were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results showed that the development of students worksheet oriented guided inquiry learning model to improve students critical thinking skills on the material at senior high school class XI in circulation system has been successfully developed by the category of very valid and very good. Student worksheet that has been developed has the potential to improve critical thinking skills. The mean results of the validation of 7 worksheets that have been developed successively ie 3:59, 3.63, 3.66, 3.66, 3.61, 3.73 and 3.78. Whereas the average of the results of limited testing of 7 worksheets that have been developed in succession, namely 3.72, 3.81, 3.74, 3.75, 3.73, 3.80 and 3.82. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this R&D research is to produced student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video as a physics learning media of senior high school on the topic of application of the law of conservation of angular momentum. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Physics Education Riau University in December 2014 until June 2015. There were four phases of this research that are preliminary studies, design, develop and validate. We need three lecturers of physics education and two teachers of physics to validate our product. From the results obtained a description that student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video developed has been valid with average scores of 3.56 for the gyroscope experiment’s video and 3.51 for student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video with very high category for all devices. Therefore, student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video declared eligible to be used as a physics learning media of senior high school in the material application of the concept of angular momentum conservation law. Abstract

Abstract : This R & D research aimed  to design, create, and validating an experimental video-based worksheets of the law of conservation of angular momentum as a media of physics learning in senior high school. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Physics Education Riau University in December 2014 until June 2015. The research products developed based on the flowchart and storyboard that has been designed. Three lecturers physical education and two senior teachers of physics has validated this product. The finding of the research showed that the video of angular momentum conservation laws experiments has a validity index of 3.48 and  video-trial based worksheets the law of conservation of momentum has a validity index of 3.49. Based on the validity index, showed that experimental video and video-trial based worksheet declared in valid. Keywords: the law of the conservation of angular momentum, video-trial based worksheet

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the interest and increased interest in studying science Physics with the application of the concept model of learning achievement in the matter of heat and heat transfer. The research design used in this study is "Nonequivalent conrol group design" with this type of research quasi experiment. The subjects were students of class VII SMP IT Madani School, which shall be composed of two classes randomly selected as experimental class with 19 students and the number of class control of 19 students. Apply experimental class learning model Achieving control class concept while applying conventional learning models. Data were collected through questionnaires engineering instruments in the form of a questionnaire research interests of students. Data analysis with descriptive analysis techniques to see an increase (gain) interests of students. The results showed an average gain of 0.41 experimental class students' interest (medium category) and the control class 0.36 (medium category). From the comparison of the average gain is about physics student interest in learning IPA science in both classes, indicates that the application of the concept model of learning achievement Physics increase student interest in learning IPA science than the application of conventional learning models. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between perception of classroom climate and students learning motivation physics. This research is correlational.  The population in this study were students of class XI IPA Simpang Kanan sub-distric, sample in this study is one class from each school are Class XI IPA with a total of 115 people. and the sample in this study is one class from each school are Class XI IPA with a total sample of 43 people, The data collection instrument used is kuisioner classroom climate and and students learning motivation physics. The result of this research showed that there is a significant positive correlation between perception of classroom climate and students motivation to learn physic subject. Data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation test . Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential. Based on the results of the analysis showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between perceptions of classroom climate with motivation to learn physics students, regression equation was Ῡ = 39.077 + 0.353 x, coefficient  of  correlation was 0,505 and Fcount > Ftable (14,001 > 3,99). Contribution perception of classroom climate and students motivation to learn physic subject was 22,5%.  The conclusion indicate that the perception of classroom climate relate to students motivation to learn physic in SMA class XI IPA simpang kanan sub-district . Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase  student’s attitude toward science in learning physics at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat. The subjects were students of class X Putri totalling 18 students. The metodh used in this study is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest desigs. The instrument of data collection in this study is the attitudes towards science questionnaire consists of 24 statement that include 4 attitude toward science indicator which is attraction toward science, science learning activities, importance of science, views toward science’s environmental. Data analysis in this study is a descriptive analysis to determine the increase  student’s attitude toward science in learning physics. The research showed the gain student’s attitude toward science at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat are in middle category (0,42), increase of the student’s attitude toward science in each of indicators in middle category, except importance of science in low category. Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to motivation of the main character of the formation contained in the state’s novel Negeri Lima Menara by Andrea Hirata. The theory used in this research is divied into to theories of motivation, namely, internal and external motivation. The method used in this study is descriptive, in get a picture of a state that lasts and not only to collect, analyze, and organize data, but must be inferred as an attempt to discover the meaning of the research result that have been achieved so that the expected result of this descriptive method of research on internal motivation and external main character of the formation could be interpreted as meaning a novel. Data analysis as carried out on the main character in the Laskar Pelangi novel by Andrea Hirata. Description motivation were examined in this study indicate how about the internal motivation and external lead character can shape his personal character. This study is expected to provide benefits for the reader to understand the description of the motivation motivation is divided into two, namely, internal and external motivation. This is done to increase the wealth of the inner reader in appreciating literature especially novel. Keywords: motivation internal, external, character
