Abstract

Abstract: Captain Zainal Zen is a military figure in the Indonesian Army, Indonesian Army during the liberation of West Irian in 1961-1963. Zainal Zen was born in Parit Putuih, August 11, 1962 by parents named Saelan and Muhammad Zen St. Kayo. Zainal Zen is an only child and plays a role in the liberation of West Irian from Dutch colonialism. The aim of this study is to find out the background of Zainal Zen's life, to determine Zainal Zen's role as a warrior in the liberation of West Irian from Dutch colonialism in 1961-1963 and to find out what distinctions Zainal Zen received from the government, and to find out the end of the battle from Zainal Zen. The data analysis used the historical writing method that consisted of several stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The result of this investigation is that Zainal Zen received special military training in Danton Kesehatan. Zainal Zen carried out the trichora operation in 1961 as part of the liberation of West Irian. He was appointed Platoon Commander (Dan Ton) for Health Jon Arsu-3, where he was instrumental in providing basic training in proper and correct treatment and medication techniques according to common medical procedures. Training in medical care and medical treatment techniques is an activity that must be mastered by the combat unit health team to provide assistance to fellow colleagues, both in the unit, especially when faced with the battlefield. Zainal Zen has seven members of the health team. After the end of operations, Zainal Zen was stationed in the Pekanbaru area. When he retired, Zainal Zen joined the Veterans Legion Organization of the Republic of Indonesia. Zainal Zen received many awards from the government. Abstract

Abstract: Based on the problem found that the volleyball service capacity of 20 students, there are 12 students who are not categorized as good at performing top service. this is because the physical condition of students such as muscle strength in the arms, shoulders and balance is not optimal. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between arm and shoulder muscle strength and upper-serve power. The population in this research was all men's volleyball club Rekita PT. KTU Koto Gasib Subdistrict, in total 20 people. This research uses a total sampling technique. The instrument in this research was a growing dynamometer leg and arm power instrument and top service. Based on the analysis of the normality test, the X data gives an LoMaks of 0.180 and a Ltable of 0.190 while the Y variable returns an Lcount of 0.110 and an LoMaks of 0.190, which means that LoMaks <Ltable, then the data will be normal divided. Based on the above analysis requirements test, the hypothesis test using the product moment test on variable X1 against variable Y, namely data 0.987> 0.575 Rcount> R table data. there is significant relationship between arm and shoulder muscle strength and the ability to operate volleyball. at the gentlemen's club Rekita PT. Abstract

Abstract: Education in Indonesia during COVID-19 pandemic, has been changed indifferent learning activities that start in early March 2020. Distance learning was themost effective alternative to be implemented when the country being hit by Covid-19,which aims to break the chain of the increasingly massive pandemic However, the entireimplementation of distance learning was not carried out properly, due to facilities andinfrastructure barriers that did not support the use of technology in learning The learningenvironment and characteristics of students are important points in this learningproblem. In chemical bonding material, students are also required to investigate thepolarity of compounds and the bonds formed in compounds. During the implementationof distance learning several other problems emerged, so that the quality of education inIndonesia has decreased, and the government has tried to make a new policy regardingthe implementation of limited face-to-face learning starting in July 2021. The limitedPTM carried out by SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru lasts for 3 subjects for 1 shift, and combinewith PJJ. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation andconclusion drawing. And for the validity of the data used to test the credibility of the datausing reference materials and test credibility with Member Check. After doing 3observations on teacher activities during teaching, the percentage of implementationaspects according to the learning model used, namely 41% for the percentage of theimplementation of the PBL learning model at the first meeting, 29% for the percentageof implementing the Discovery Learning learning model at the second meeting, and 35%for the percentage of the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model at thethird meeting. Thus, the average percentage obtained for the implementation of chemistrylearning on chemical bonding material for class X MIPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru FY2021/2022 of 35% belongs to the «Poor good» category because it is in the categorizationrange of 21% - 40%. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the desire of researchers to determine the public's perception of the implementation of the admission of new students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is: How is the community's perception of the implementation of the admission of new students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine how the public's perception of the implementation of the admission of new students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The benefit of this research is that for the community this research can be used as a source of information to find out the community's perception of the implementation of the acceptance of new students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative descriptive study which was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru from November 2020 to December 2020. The population in this study were all parents of guardians totaling 432 people with a sampling method in the form of purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results of the study: Public Perceptions of Implementing the Acceptance of New Students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru were classified as very good, namely with a percentage of 87.05%, then based on data analysis it can be explained that the public perception of the implementation of the acceptance of new students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru is said to be Very Good can be seen from the large percentage of its role which is equal to 51% - 100% = Very Good.Key Words: Perception, Society, Implementation, Acceptance of New Students

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the external factors of students' learning difficulties in learning biology class XI IPA semester I during the pandemic. Descriptive research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tambang in October 2021. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study was 69 students. The instrument used in data collection is a closed questionnaire and an open questionnaire. Before being used the questionnaire had gone through the validity and reliability test stages. The results showed that the external factor of the highest student learning difficulties was in the family environment aspect with an average of 67.75, while the school environment aspect had an average of 57.24 in the medium category and the social environment aspect had an average of 66.66 in the high category.Key Words: Learning difficulties, Pandemic, Biology learning

Abstract

Abstract: The frequency of use of Japanese is defined as the level of frequency or infrequentness of language activities or language activities of students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program in the form of listening, speaking, reading and writing activities indicated by adverbs of frequency, such as always, often, rarely, and never. The purpose of this study was to find out how high the frequency of using Japanese by students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, Riau University. The method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Quantitative descriptive is a type of research that is used to explain a phenomenon as it is by using numbers that describe the characteristics of the subject. The results showed that the level of frequency of using Japanese is in the category of rarely and never using Japanese. Factors causing linguistic input are less quantity, teaching and learning strategy factors applied by lecturers do not encourage students to use Japanese more, environmental factors do not stimulate the growing need for Japanese.Key Words: frequency, use of Japanese, causative factor

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to find out the Ability of the Second Year Students of the Vocational High School (SMK) Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in Comprehending Narrative Texts. The population of this research was the Second Year Students of the Vocational High School (SMK) Taruna Satria Pekanbaru. The number of sample was 32 students selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument was multiple choice questions consisted 30 questions. The test was given by using six components of reading comprehension of narrative texts such as specific information, moral value, main idea, reference, meaning of difficult word, and making inference of narrative text. The data were analyzed by classifying them into four levels of ability, such as poor, average, good, and excellent. The result showed that the ability of the second year students of the Vocational High School (SMK) Taruna Satria Pekanbaru was at good level with mean score was 65,2.Key Words: Students’ ability, Reading comprehension, Narrative text

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to get the empirical data about the effect of using song lyrics on students’ English phrasal verbs mastery one ten graders of SMK Perpajakan Riau especially in X Banking class. The method used in this thesis was a quantitative method using pre-experimental design. This study used all of the tenth-grade students of SMK Perpajakan Riau. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The sample of this study was X Banking A of class consist of 32 students. In collecting data, the writer conducted a post-test about the phrasal verb using song lyrics test. The test consisted of 20 multiple choices and 10 matching words. In this research, there were six meetings for treatments including a pre-test and a post-test that used the song lyrics as the main subject for learning phrasal verbs in the class. It was found that mean scores of the pre- test and the post-test were 40.6931 and 82.4175 consecutively. The difference of the mean score between the pre-test and the post-test was 41.72. The gap of the mean score showed a significant effect of students’ phrasal verb mastery test.Keywords: Effect, Song lyrics, English Phrasal Verbs

Abstract

Abstract : Sentul fruit (Sandoricum koetjape) is also known as harp fruit. Sentul fruit contains antioxidants such as beta-carotene and flavonoid bioactive substances in large quantities, namely 6.5 millimhos ib 100 gr of fresh fruit. This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of Sentul fruit peel (Sandoricum koetjape) on the quality of Dej Kefir Probiotics and to produce a LKPD design based on Video Virtual Laboratory Biotechnology for SMA class XII1. In 4. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) using 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. In each treatment, 10% sucrose and 5% rau dej kefir seeds were added to produce dej kefir skin of sentul fruit. Cov txiaj ntsig ntawm cov khoom lag luam yog 0%, 10%, 15%, thiab 20%. The LKPD method based on virtual lab video uses qauv ADDIE. The results of this study showed: The P3 treatment (20% sentul fruit peel) had a significant effect on water kefir drinks with a protein content value of 3.78% and an antioxidant 29.4 ppm. Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of learning Japanese is to improve students' ability to communicate in Japanese, both spoken and written. Writing ability is a person's ability to describe language with graphic symbols that can be understood by someone easily and clearly. Serial image media is included in the visual form of media. This media is also called a flow chart or stacking images or a collection of images that are different from one another but are sequentially and related to each other. Picture series media are tips that can help students to come up with and develop main ideas in writing descriptive essays. Descriptive essays have the characteristics of describing objects in more detail, using sentences that describe objects and forming the reader's imagination, using figurative words to enrich the picture, emphasizing on five-sense responses, using clear vocabulary, applying one of the organizing patterns, and inserting impressions and fixed atmosphere. The purpose of this paper is to look at the writing skills (sakubun) of students and to find out whether there is an increase in the ability to write descriptive essays for the 2018 students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program FKIP Riau University by using quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) with STAD (Student Team Achievement technique Division). The research pattern uses the one group pretest-posttest design method with 20 students as the research subject. From the results of this study, it was found that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test data from the use of serial picture media on learning to write (sakubun), and this is can be concluded that this study was quite satisfactory.Key Words: Descriptive Writing Essay Skills, Picture Series Media, Quasi Experiment.
