Abstract

Abstrak: The spread of Keroncong music to various cities in the coastal areas ofIndonesia gives the local characteristics of its music in the distribution area. It spreadsbeyond the island of Java and gives birth to its distinctive features. However, manyassumed that Keroconcong Music is the same across Indonesia, originated in Jakarta,specifically in the Tugu Jakarta area. This study aimed to investigate the development,existence, community views and values of Keroncong music in the Rengat sub-districtarea. This study uses qualitative research methods to accurately describe, investigateand analyze the development and existence of Keroncong music in the Rengat subdistrictarea. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation,verifications and concluding. The results of this research show that people in Rengatdistrict preserve the existence of Keroncong Music by first combining Malaysian songsand millennium songs with Keroncong music and spreading the moral value inKeroncong Music in daily life and society.Key Words: Existence, Music, Keroncong, Rengat Society.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the activity profile of street children. This type of research is research using a qualitative approach and analyzed descriptively to obtain information. The informant in this study is a street child who is on Jalan Harapan Raya Kota Pekanbaru, numbering 3 people. This study uses data retrieval techniques, namely, interviews and observations. Samples in qualitative research are named as sources or informants. The informant in this study is a street child who is on Harapan Raya road, Pekanbaru numbering 3 children consisting of 3 girls. Taken using a sampling technique, purposive sampling. The results showed that street children on Harapan Raya street are included in the Type of Children on the street. Street children's activities are divided into two, namely, physical and non-physical. Physical activities of street children such as cleaning the house, helping parents, playing, and working on the streets by selling newspapers. While non-physical activity is closely related to the way street children think, study at school and at home, pray in the mosque and the feelings they experience.Key Words: Profile, Activity, Street Children.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by online learning and student learning outcomes of the Riau University PPKn study program. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of online learning and student learning outcomes of the Riau University PPKn study program. The research objective was to determine how the effect of online learning and student learning outcomes of the Riau University PPKn study program. The benefits of this research are theoretical benefits, namely this research is expected to contribute in the field of education, especially those related to writing scientific papers. The practical benefit is as a basis and reference for further research related to online learning and student learning outcomes on campus to become material for further study. The population in this study were students of class 2017, 2018, and 2019, Riau University PPKn Study Program, totaling 215 students. The sample in this study were 68 students of the Riau University PPKn Study Program, which were determined by random sampling technique. The data collection instruments were questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Processing data with quantitative descriptive analysis using simple linear regression formula assisted by SPSS version 16 application by stating hypotheses; there is an influence between online learning on student learning outcomes of the Riau University PPKn Study Program. Based on the results of research on the effect of online learning on student learning outcomes of the Riau University PPKn Study Program, there is a significant influence between the effect of online learning on student learning outcomes of the Riau University PPKn Study Program by 27.5%.Key Words: Influence, Online Learning, Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the functions that appear in Japanese conversations in making appointments on the telephone. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data in this study is in the form of Japanese telephone conversations recorded using zoom media. The number of respondents in this study consisted of 10 students at Kobe University Japan which will be divided into two groups of Japanese people who will have telephone conversations in making appointments with close friends and with people of higher social status. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis. The results of data analysis obtained in this study are the functions that appear in Japanese conversations when making telephone appointments with close friends or peers (students and students) and with people with higher social status (lecturers and students).Key Words: Discourse Analysis, Communication, Pragmatics

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine students' interest in social science programs in choosing cross-interest Biology at SMAN Kubu and SMAN Kubu Babussalam, Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kubu, SMAN 1 Kubu Babussalam and SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam in class X (ten). The time of the study started from August to October 2020. The sample in this study was determined by the purposive sampling technique. The sample in the study were 35 students from SMAN 1 Kubu, 36 students from SMAN 1 Kubu Babussalam, 38 students from SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam with a total of 109 people. Data collection uses online questionnaire distribution techniques through the Google Forms Platform and data collection instruments use questionnaires. The test data of the questionnaire were tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) V. 22.00 software program. After the data was collected, it was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the indicators of student interest in the social science program in choosing cross-interest in biology at the three schools were classified as high with an average of 80%.Key Words: Biology,interest, Social Science

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations made in the field while doing the shot put sport, it can be seen that the students are not doing well, meaning that their abilities are below the maximum result. Therefore, the researchers went to the cause of the low shot put results. It turned out that the lowest shot was caused by the arm and shoulder muscle strength that was not good. This was the researcher wanted to see the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles in the hope that the strength was good and the result was good. This study aims to see: The effect of push-up training on the muscle strength of the arms and shoulders in class X SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. The population used was class X SMA Negeri 1 Kubu, which 10 people could understand. The sampling technique used total sampling so that the sample numbered 10 students. The instrument in this study was to develop a dynamometer. The collected results were later analyzed using the t-test. Based on the t-test results in a t count of 4.955 with a t table of 1.796, then ha is rejected, at the alpha (α) 0.05 level. It can be concluded that there is an effect of push-up training on the muscle strength of the arms and shoulders in class X SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. Based on the comments above, that push-ups can increase the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles, if given continuous training.Key Words: Push-ups, Arm And Shoulder Muscle Strength

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the limited face-to-face learning science module during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects of this study were students in grades IX.1 and IX.2 at MTs Negeri 8 Kampar. The number of students in class IX.1 is 29 students and class IX.2 is 28 students. The type of research used in this research is a pre-experimental design research with a one-shot case study design. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The effectiveness of the developed module is viewed from the percentage of classical completeness, student learning completeness from competency indicators, and student responses related to the developed module. The instruments used are test sheets and questionnaire sheets. The results obtained in this study are that the developed module is effective in terms of the classical completeness percentage of 83.87% for class IX.1 and 84.37% for class IX.2. Completeness based on competence, students, and competencies possessed by students. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the correlation between vocabulary mastery and the ability in writing recount text by the third year students of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. The samples of the research were 35 students of IX class. The data were obtained from students’ vocabuary mastery and the ability in writing a recount text. The vocabuary test was used to know students’ vocabuary mastery and the writing test was used as the test to assess the students’ writing ability. The scores showed that students’ vocabulary mastery were good and the writing ability level were good as well. The mean score of vocabuary mastery was 71.20, while the mean score of writing ability was 70.71. The value of correlation coefficient was 0.750. Based on the interpretation by Sugiyono (2017) if the correlation value is between 0.600 – 0.799. It means that the study found that there was correlation between vocabulary mastery and the writing ability of the third year students of of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru was high. It’s suggested that vocabulary is important skills necessary for students to learn English because it is the basis for the expansion of all the other skills especially writing skills.Key Words: Vocabulary, Mastery, Ability, Writing, Recount Text

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out how the level of service quality and participation of members in the Koperasi Wanita Pesona Marta Pekanbaru. The population in this study was 149 people. Sampling in this study used simple random sampling technique used the Slovin formula amounted to 60 people. Data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis using descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that the level of service quality of the Pesona Marta Pekanbaru Women's Cooperative was in the low category with a percentage of 61.66%. And the level of participation of members of the Koperasi Wanita Pesona Marta Pekanbaru is in the 46.67% category.Key Words: Service Quality, Member’s Participation

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study is titled imagery in poetry collection Tuhan Kita Begitu Dekat the work of Abdul Hadi W.M. This study aimed to describe the visual imagery, to describe auditory imagery, to describe olfactory imagery, to describe tactile imagery, to describe subjective imagery, to describe gustatory imagery, and to describe kinesthetic imagery, the method with qualitative approach. The research data are from lines in poems that contained visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, subjective, gustatory and kinesthetic imagery. The result of the study is that there are 82 data found from 77 poems with the total number of data are 103 poems. From those data, there are visual imagery as many as 22 of 19 poems. 36 auditorory imagery data from 35 poems, 4 olfactory imagery data from 4 foems, 3 tactile imagery data from 3 poems, 4 subjective imagery data from 4 poems, 2 gustatory imagery data from 2 poems, and 11 kinesthetic imagery data from 10 poems. The dominant imagery is the visual and auditory imagery. Those imagery are capable of moving the reader’s imagination into unconsciousness area that transcends the ordinary consciousness. The feelings that are suggested in the poems are happiness, sadness and even heartache.Keywords : Imagery in poerty
