Abstract

: Discipline is an attitude that students need to have in learning in order to help students achieve learning goals. On the other hand, learning aims to train discipline so that students can behave correctly and have good character in society. This study aims to examine teachers' efforts to use positive reinforcement in increasing student discipline in the learning process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data found by the author shows that the percentage of discipline in grade IV elementary school students is 63.2%. The teacher applies a positive reinforcement method that aims to improve student discipline. The use of positive reinforcement methods shows an increase in student discipline to 73.3%. The teacher has a role as a role model and guide in building student character. The conclusion obtained is that positive reinforcement shows the percentage of success of positive reinforcement on student discipline of 10.1%. The advice given is to make more specific disciplinary indicators and research is carried out over a longer period of time so that discipline improvements are more visible.

Abstract

Based on the observation results of descriptive writing skills in class V students and interviews with teachers of SDN Boto, Semanding District, Tuban Regency, students' writing ability was low. Students have difficulty determining the topic of writing so that students do not want to start writing activities. In learning activities, students are only given assignments from LKS so that in writing descriptive essays students are not able to involve their five senses to put their ideas into writing. Preliminary data from analysis of student scores obtained data on the number of students in grade 5 were 25 students, only 5 students were able to complete writing the descriptive essay. So that only 20% of classical percentages have the ability to write descriptions. Based on this background, thematic e-modules were developed to make it easier for students to write descriptions of class V students at Boto 5 Elementary School. This type of research was R&D with four stages. The purpose of this e-module development research is to determine feasibility level of linguists, materials, and media. The results of validation by design experts show that the quality of learning e-module is in stage 1 assessment component with an achievement level of 82.85% with a "very decent" qualification. In stage 2 assessment, still with a "very decent" qualification, the achievement rate was 85.71%. Assessment of learning products in the form of modules by material experts shows the quality of learning modules in stage 1 assessment component with an achievement level of 83.33% with a "very decent" qualification. In stage 2 assessment, still with the "very decent" qualification, the achievement rate was 86.66%. Assessment of learning products in the form of modules by linguists shows the quality of learning modules in the stage 1 assessment component with an achievement level of 86.6% with a "very decent" qualification. In stage 2 assessment, still with the "very decent" qualification, the achievement rate was 91%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe science learning based on ethnoscience at MI Darul Ulum Paiton. Ethnoscience learning is the integration of local cultural values ​​into the learning process, especially science subjects.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of MI Darul Ulum Class IV. The research results show that ethnoscience-based science learning at MI Darul Ulum is carried out in three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning is carried out routinely at the beginning of the semester by the class teacher. Implementation of learning emphasizes contextual learning. Evaluation is carried out authentically to measure student performance. In addition to measuring the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains, morals are the main consideration in the evaluation process.The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe science learning based on ethnoscience at MI Darul Ulum Paiton. Abstract

Anjhir Hill is a natural tourist attraction located in Tragah District, Bangkalan Regency which is still new and is still rarely known by many people. Based on observations, these problems are caused by a lack of promotion and publication to the wider community. Therefore, there is a need for promotional innovations to introduce this tourist destination. The purpose of developing this comic in three languages ​​is an effort to promote the natural tourist spot of Anjhir hill through language and science approaches. This research is development research using 4D development model which has 4 stages, they are Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The subjects of this study were high grade elementary school students in three elementary schools in Madura. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the percentage validation results from tourism promotion experts, linguists, and materials experts, it was obtained that they were 90%, 85%, and 80.5%, respectively. So that it is known that from the results of expert validation, comics developed obtain a valid category. In addition, based on the results of student questionnaire with an interpretation of score based on the Linkert scale as a whole, a percentage value of 85% is obtained in the very good category.

Abstract

The activeness of students in the learning process is important because students are the subjects of learning. The teacher as a facilitator has an important role in designing learning to facilitate student activity. However, in reality, kindergarten students were found to be less active in class. This is because the need for its characteristics has not been properly facilitated through the right method. As many as 38% of students did not pay attention to the teacher when explaining, 92% of students did not answer the teacher's questions or in other words, only one student answered the teacher's questions, 15% of students were sleepy and did not follow instructions and 0.7% of students did not complete the assignments given. This study aims to describe a method of learning through play to facilitate the activeness of kindergarten students with a descriptive qualitative research methodology supported by portfolio data that will be used as an instrument in the research, they are in the form of observation for a week, reflection on teaching six times, mentor feedback when teaching authors, and lesson plans. The research population was 13 K-2 grade kindergarten students at a school in Bogor, West Java. It was concluded that this method of learning through play can facilitate student activity because it can attract attention, increase concentration, involve less active students, and develop students holistically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze what problems occurred in the 2013 curriculum so that it was changed to the merdeka curriculum. This research is included in the qualitative descriptive research using the method narrative inquiry, namely the results of the research which is a detailed description of an event that we make the object of research, without exaggerating the information obtained regarding the analysis of the 2013 curriculum and the difficulties experienced so that it turns to the merdeka curriculum which is currently being discussed and being intensively implemented in schools elementary, starting from class I and class IV. From the results of the analysis, important findings were found, namely that there were 3 aspects of difficulties experienced by teachers in planning learning, carrying out learning and evaluating (learning assessment). So the Merdeka Curriculum was born which is a form of evaluation or refinement of the 2013 Curriculum, and is expected to be able to solve existing problems in the 2013 Curriculum. After going through a trial period of one year it can be said that the Merdeka Curriculum has provided a better picture than the previous Curriculum. Because, the Merdeka Curriculum found fewer problems and was able to solve problems in the 2013 Curriculum.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in the aspect of education that plays an important role is educators or teachers, one of the goals is for students to understand digital literacy. But in this era the role of educators will not be replaced by technology. Because in the practice of learning, educators teach character, morals and role models for students. The purpose of this article is to describe the role of elementary school educators in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in accordance with existing policies and the role of parents of elementary school students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses the literature study method, namely by searching for literature from various sources, especially Google Scholar, then analyzing reference sources that are in accordance with the issues raised. An important finding obtained from this research is the increasing professionalism of educators or teachers which will have an impact on increasing the quality of elementary school education in entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for learning resources in the form of MIPA modules integrated with the independent curriculum. The method used in this research is qualitative by using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire on the needs of MIPA learning resources on the platform google form. Data collection technique by distributing questionnaires to respond to the needs of MIPA learning resources for 3rd semester students of PGSD Study Program, Nusantara University PGRI Kediri. Data analysis technique by analyzing the results of the needs response questionnaire. Based on the questionnaire analysis of the results of the response to the need for MIPA learning resources, it was found that students needed learning resources in the form of MIPA modules. The MIPA module is integrated with the independent curriculum so that later the material presented in the module is also in line with current needs in the field

Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of colligative material aspects of the solution in articulate storyline-based learning media with assessment indicators on aspects of suitability of material with Basic Competency, suitability of material concepts with media, contextuality, depth of material, ease of material to understand, systematics, clarity of material, suitability of amount practice questions with the amount of material presented, the ease of reviewing the material, motivating students as a whole. The research instrument was a questionnaire assessment sheet related to the suitability of the material with the Basic Competency in articulate storyline-based learning media based on the aspects that have been mentioned. The method used in this study is the one method, which is a research step using a qualitative approach. The results of the research on the suitability analysis of colligative material solutions on articulate storyline-based learning media were obtained from a validity questionnaire questionnaire by two material experts. The suitability of the material aspects of this media is the result of validator one giving an average score with a percentage score of 88% including very good criteria (very valid), and validator two giving a percentage of an average score of 82%, namely in the good category ( valid). So it can be concluded that the suitability of the material aspects of the articulate storyline-based learning media is stated to be appropriate and valid

Abstract

This article aims to provide knowledge about parents role in developing the independent character of elementary school children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study was a qualitative research method using literature studies. Literature studies are carried out by searching for literature that is appropriate with research from various written sources, both print and non-print, such as books, scientific papers contained in national and international journals and seminar proceedings. The parent's role in independent character cultivation of elementary school students during the COVID-19 pandemic is a must, considering the current state of learning at home so that parents become the spearhead in the education process, one of which is in terms of developing the independent character of elementary school children. Independent character is necessary to be developed in elementary school children during the current COVID-19 pandemic, due to this pandemic, people including elementary school children, must be able to carry out protocols independently, such as maintaining hand hygiene, avoiding touching their eyes, nose and mouth, applying coughing or sneezing ethics, wearing a mask, keeping a safe distance. Therefore, for elementary school children to be able to carry out these protocols independently, the parents' role in developing the independent character of elementary school children during the current Covid-19 pandemic is considered important. The importance of developing independent character is because at the age of elementary school children are still not used to maintaining personal hygiene, especially personal hygiene when outside home.
