Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Script learning model with the help of Flahcard Image Media on the Concept Understanding of Class IV Students. This type of research is an experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of SD N Jetis 01 and students of SD N Jetis 03 who were still in one cluster, then for the sample in this study were grade 4 students at SD N Jetis 01 and grade 4 students at SD N Jetis 03. Data collection instruments using observation, questionnaires, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique was normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t test and simple linear regression test. The results of the research show: (1) There are differences in the use of the Cooperative Script model assisted by flashcard image media for the experimental class and the Cooperative Script model only for the control class on the ability to understand concepts of fourth grade students, as evidenced by the significance level of 0.001 < 0.05 using the independent sample t test. Test (2) There is an effect of using the Cooperative Script model with the help of Flahcard Image Media on the Concept Understanding of Class IV Students, as evidenced by a significance level of 0.000 <0.05 using a simple linear regression test. The results of this study can be concluded that the Cooperative Script learning model assisted by Flahcard Image Media has an effect on increasing students’ understanding of concepts.

Abstract

Abstract: Education is an integral part of development. Learning can also be interpreted as the result of an experience in the form of interaction with learning resources such as environment, books, or people. Learning outcomes are not a mastery of training results, but the creation of aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students. During the learning process, it appears that the teacher is less maximal in implementing the 2013 curriculum with innovative creative learning models and the teacher does not integrate various lesson content into predetermined themes. This has an impact on student learning outcomes when learning has been carried out face to face. The research conducted aims to improve student learning outcomes when using the Problem Based Learning model on thematic learning for grades IV Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The population in this study was 21 and the samples used were saturated samples. The instruments in this study were observations and tests of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this research for observations were taken by supervisors, they are elementary school teachers and learning outcomes tests for students in thematic learning. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis and N-gain test. The results showed that there was an increase in average learning outcomes and the proportion of mastery. In the N-gain test, the increase was in medium category. This is because the use of PBL in thematic learning raises daily life material so that it is easier for students to carry out the projects they are working on to improve their learning outcomes. Abstract

Digital technology in the 21st century is growing rapidly, especially at the elementary school level. But in reality some students have not been able to adapt to technology and minimal digital literacy skills. As a result, students have difficulty in choosing valid information on digital media. Therefore, students must have digital information and data processing skills. These skills are needed to filter information and data obtained using digital technology in order to be able to analyze information from digital sources accurately and can be justified. This study aims to determine the level of digital data and information processing ability in digital literacy skills of elementary school students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method, with data collection through questionnaires and online case study test questions to a sample of 151 high school elementary school students. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical technique. The results of this study indicate that the ability to process information and digital data on digital literacy skills of students from 4 elementary schools in East Java is still in the sufficient category, so it still needs to be improved.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the situation in the Social Studies (IPS) learning process which was not effective and efficient because problems were often encountered, that is verbalism in learning because teachers interpreted teaching materials as mere tools and availability of teaching materials was not relevant to the material being taught. This study aims to develop teaching materials based on the local culture of East Sumba that are relevant to Social Studies material in class IV that are valid, practical, and effective. This type of research used development research with the ADDIE Model, which consists of 5 stages, that are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Collecting research data using questionnaires and tests. The research subjects for class IV SDK Santo Yosep 2 were 25 people. Data collected consisted of expert validation data, teacher and student response questionnaire data, as well as test result data. The results showed that development of teaching materials for IPS class IV SDK Santo Yosep 2 had very good qualifications with an achievement level of 90.41%. The achievement of this quality is obtained from the calculation of average media validity level of 90.83% with very valid qualifications, the practicality level of media is 96.40% with very practical qualifications, and the effectiveness level of media is 84% with very high/effective qualifications. So it can be concluded that diorama media developed is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the presence or absence of Digital Storytelling on the Story Writing Skills of Class II Elementary School Students. This study used a quantitative approach. This type of research is pre-experimental design with the one group pretest posttest design method. The sample is 25 students. The instrument is a test in the form of an essay question. The results obtained are sig. (2-tailed) (0.00) < 0.05 means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that Digital Storytelling in writing stories for class II students can influence students' writing skills for the better. As for the value of how much influence is received, a value of 0.76 is obtained. This value is greater than criteria table, which is 0, 14 so it is stated that the use of Digital Storytelling has a great influence on the story writing skills of class II elementary school students. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide knowledge and insight about other learning innovations in the ability to write stories for future researchers.

This research is based on the lack of understanding of third grade elementary school students about cultural diversity material because teachers tend to use conventional media, in the form of pictures from textbooks or LKS only. This study aimed to develop Inshot-based RAGA learning media. This research method used research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model. The research steps include: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used in this study are descriptive analysis techniques for observation and interview data while statistical analysis was used to calculate the percentage of results from validation, practicality, and effectiveness in the form of numbers. The results of media expert validation obtained an average score of 95.6% in the very feasible category, and material experts obtain an average score of 96.75% with a very valid category, results of media practicality with a score of 92.75% in very practical category and for scores from student responses 94.5% in very decent category, then the effectiveness data seen from the results of pre-test with a score of 67% and post-test with a score of 83%.
