Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of rules and procedures to establish student discipline in online Physical Education learning. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with data analysis techniques including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of rules and procedures in Physical Education learning can foster student discipline during online learning. Student discipline is evident as all students demonstrate discipline by activating their cameras during the class and focusing on listening to the teacher's explanation, as well as muting their microphones when not asked to speak. The majority of students also show disciplined behavior by using the "raise hand" feature when requesting permission to speak or asking questions, and they actively participate in the learning process. In conclusion, the implementation of rules and procedures successfully cultivates student discipline in online Physical Education learning. As a suggestion for future research, further studies can explore forming discipline through a personalized approach to students.

Abstract

The limitation of students' understanding of disaster mitigation led the researchers to conduct a study that combined two previous studies, resulting in a new finding called Sistana. This research aimed to describe the suitability, effectiveness, and student response to the learning media in the form of Sistana-Based Student Worksheets (LKPD) in enhancing their understanding of disaster mitigation during the 6th-grade Social Studies class in Elementary School. The development model utilized by the researchers was the 4D model, which consists of four main stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The validation results by material experts showed a percentage of 80% as "valid." The media experts obtained a percentage of 84% as "valid," while the evaluation experts scored 80% as "valid." Furthermore, the results of the trial showed that the students' average pretest score was 43.1, and their posttest score was 88.1, indicating an improvement of 45 points. Finally, the student's assessment of the use of LKPD Sistana resulted in a 92% "very good" response rate. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed LKPD Sistana is relevant and engaging as a learning medium to enhance students' understanding of disaster mitigation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore how the character of Panji is represented in the millennial era. The Panji stories are a treasured historical legacy that once flourished in the past, particularly during the Majapahit era, and spread to various regions in the archipelago and some Southeast Asian countries. Panji is closely associated with being a protagonist figure, which is why he is considered a role model for living a righteous life. In the realm of education, the Panji stories can be thoughtfully incorporated as teaching materials for students, particularly in character education. The character of Panji can serve as a model or avenger, akin to a Nusantara superhero. This research adopts a qualitative research method, and data is collected through secondary sources, such as literature, books, articles, documents, and websites. The findings of this research represent Panji as an avenger in the millennial era, combating the growing influence of Western culture that has seeped into the paradigm of the millennial generation in Indonesia. Moreover, it fosters a sense of patriotism by appreciating the rich cultural heritage of the nation.

Abstract

The challenges of education have become more difficult over time. Some of these challenges include the fact that teachers/educators try to help students understand the lessons at hand, but often the results are not as expected. Students find it difficult to concentrate and understand the abstract concepts of their lessons. To deal with this problem, applications and other game systems are used that help children to understand the material. In this study, the learning system was carried out by testing the use of Quzizz material as a teaching aid with the object of the experimental class and control class, namely 5th-grade students from SD Negeri Bedug 01, Pangkah, Tegal. The results showed that Quzizz helped teaching with language materials (antonyms and synonyms), besides that students enjoyed the learning process more. This is because students do not feel pressure to learn and enjoy the learning process as a fun process for them
