Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop website-based teaching materials on the solar system for fifth grade elementary school students. This teaching material was developed as a learning resource in elementary science learning which was developed systematically and logically. The method in this research uses R&D by adapting the ADDIE development model with stages, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The location of this research was carried out at Emmaus Elementary School, Kediri Regency with a total of 25 test subjects. The data used to see the feasibility of the product that has been developed is product validity data, product practicality data, and product effectiveness data. The results of product validity tests carried out by material experts obtained an average value of 85%, while the validity results by design experts were 83%. The average product validity test result is 84% with valid criteria. The level of practicality and effectiveness of the teaching materials was carried out through extensive trials with the product practicality level obtaining an average score of 96% in the very practical category. Meanwhile, the results of the product effectiveness test can be seen from the comparison of the average value of classical student learning outcomes, namely 80 with a KKM of 75. Based on the comparison results, the average classical student learning outcomes are higher than the predetermined KKM, so the product can be declared effective for use in teaching. solar system material for fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Lack of GEDSI integration can hinder student participation and achievement. Therefore, the integration of GEDSI in learning is the main focus, especially for UMM PGSD students who will become teachers in the future. This research aims to understand the extent to which GEDSI integration occurs in the fifth semester of elementary school social studies learning tools for UMM PGSD students and the obstacles in its integration. The research method uses qualitative descriptive research by analyzing documents in the form of learning tools for PGSD UMM students in the fifth semester (odd) of the 2023/2024 academic year with content analysis techniques, data collection methods through documentation of elementary social studies learning tools that have been prepared by students. In general, 79.9% of students in learning activity content and 98% of students in teaching material texts have integrated GEDSI. In the illustrations and pictures, in the teaching materials section there are 94% of students who have integrated GEDSI and 6% of students have not integrated GEDSI, 53% of students' LKPD have not or have not implemented GEDSI integration and 47% have integrated GEDSI, in the evaluation section there are around 66 .4% of students have integrated GEDSI and 33.6% of students have not or have not integrated GEDSI. Finally, in references or learning resources, there were 0.07% or 1 student who integrated GEDSI and 99.3% had not or did not integrate GEDSI. It is hoped that the results of this research can help create an inclusive and equitable learning environment, as well as produce graduates who are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in the use of the POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) model assisted by dioramas on understanding concepts, to find out the effect of using the POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) model assisted by dioramas on understanding concepts. This research was conducted at SDN Pringapus 01. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The sample determination in this research was purposive sampling. The population in this study were students at SDN Pringapus 01. The samples taken in this study were class IV at SDN Pringapus 01. Where class IV A was the experimental class and class IV B was the control class. With data collection techniques using science description question sheets, observation sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests in the form of paired sample t-tests and simple linear regression tests. The research results show (1) there is an influence of using the POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) model assisted by dioramas on increasing understanding of concepts. This is proven by a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. (2) There is a significant difference between learning using the POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) model assisted by dioramas towards understanding science concepts. This is also proven by the significance results of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion from this research is that the POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) model assisted by dioramas has an influence in increasing students' understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the obstacles in developing learning media for animated videos of Arina's expressions based on Kediri local wisdom; (2) describe the need for developing Indonesian language learning media for class II; (3) describe the supporting capacity for developing learning media for animated videos of Arina's expressions based on Kediri local wisdom. The method used in the research was descriptive qualitative with the research subjects being class II students at SDN Burengan 2 with a total of 60 students and 2 teachers at SDN Burengan 2. Data collection techniques used interviews, questionnaires and observation. The analysis technique used is the data triangulation analysis technique (Mills and Huberman) with the stages of data collection  data reduction  data presentation  drawing conclusions. The research results show that 1) There are several obstacles in implementing animated video media, namely teachers prefer textual learning (relying only on textbooks), teachers are not very proficient in operating IT, teachers are more comfortable teaching without using learning media, and teachers still have difficulties in finding suitable media for students. 2) The development of animated video learning media is really needed by class II students at SDN Burengan 2. 3) The supporting capacity in implementing IT-based media is that the principal has facilitated computers and LCDs in implementing IT-based media, the principal provides facilities to help teachers be creative in making media learning, and school principals facilitate workshops/training in making IT-based media such as animated videos. From the results of this research, it is necessary to continue with further research in the form of developing animated video media for Arina's expressions based on Kediri local wisdom at SDN Burengan II Kediri.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mastery of the concepts of narrative text and procedural text material in grade 4 students at MI Hidayatus Shibyan. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through test, interview and documentation methods. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that class 4 students at MI Hidayatus Shyiban have not mastered the understanding of the concepts of narrative text and procedural text material. The narrative text and procedural text material possessed by students is still low. Factors involving student learning difficulties include teachers often using the lecture method, lack of learning innovation provided by teachers, decreased student enthusiasm for learning, and students' lack of mastery of the material. Therefore, there is a need for a solution in dealing with difficulties in mastering narrative text and procedural text material, namely; reading texts repeatedly in order to understand the material, increasing enthusiasm and interest in learning through the use of learning media and learning models, carrying out concrete learning in understanding procedural texts and procedural texts that can provide experience as well as understanding for students.
