Abstract

This research basicly aims to know the influence of motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic) and work discipline to employee performance. The location is chosen for this research is education officional office of Kabupaten Sambas. The research was done to 37 responden by using quantitative-explanatory approach. Thus, data analysis which is used is statistic analysis in the form of double linier regression test. The result of this research shows that either simultaneously or partially, the variable of intrinsic motivation, ekstrinsic motivation and work discipline influence work performance of the employee at officional office of education of Kabupaten Sambas. It has been proven from the result of (f) simultan test which shows confer (38,773) with significant point (0.000) which is much smaller than alpha 0.05. Along with the result of (t) partial shows significant point of three free variables in succession as big as 0.000, 0.009 and 0.000 which is much smaller than alpha 0.05. so that the accepted assumption from both of the test is Ho rejected.Keywords: intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, work discipline, and employee performance

Abstract

The small industry and handycraft villages is the one of important thing on the economical structure, because of capability absorbing the human resources and exploiting the huge potential natural resources in Indonesia. The large amount of the small industry, but on the balance with the high performance. Thus, the development of the industry is low and get the difficulty competing toward the advance industry and imported product. The Metod which is used are Balanced Scorecard (BSC), and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP. The Balanced Scorecard was used to measure business/industry performance with 4 perspectives, i. e.: financial perspective, market. Perspective, internal business process perspective and study and development process perspective. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used to measuring the weighted of the every perspective and every critical success factor. The result of the research indicate that the small industrial performance averages amount of 2.06 (medium category), The critical success factor influence much enough the low of the small industry performances are : ROI, TATO, MAPE and ROE. The map of the small industry and handycraft villages, based on the performance as followes: 23% small industry are on the low category, 62 % small industry are on the medium category, and only 15% industry are on the advance category.Keywords: Balanced Scorecard, Critical Succes Factors, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)

Abstract

The objective of the research was tested the effect of economic content, resource content, and social content toward trust, satisfaction and customer commitment as well as relationship intention customers of commercial bank government in Banyuwangi Regency. The sample size was 180 respondents. A purposive sampling with disproportional allocation was used to determine the sample of each bank (BRI, BNI, and Bank Mandiri) branch office Banyuwangi. The technical analysis applied to test the research hypothesis was SEM with the support of Amos 5 Program. The result of the research prevailed that there were positive and significant relationships among economic content and trust, economic content and satisfaction, resource content and trust, resource content and satisfaction, social content and trust, social content and satisfaction, trust and commitment, satisfaction and commitment, and commitment and relationship intention.Keywords: economic content, resource content, social content, trust, satisfaction, commitment, relationship intention

Abstract

Culture of organization needs to be known by leaders or managers to facilitate them in determining the attitude, how they should act so that its members can be directed toward the attitudes and behavior helping to achieve organizational goals. To measure the achievement of organizational goals that have been established it is very important for companies to have a performance concept that can not be separated from the culture of the organization itself. Performance appraisal is a process of evaluation of staff using the tool, comparing it with the standard. How to assess the effectiveness evaluation with essay method, the definition of compensation assessment ,checklists direct assessment of spaciousness, assessment, based on behavioral assessment ,based on critical incident analysis and assessment of the effectiveness of assessments. The goal of certification is the assessment of staff, as well as define the article development personnel and to do training, in general, cannot be separated from the culture of the Organization itself.Keywords: performance, appraisal , and organizational culture

Abstract

The research is how is the Strategy in supporting customer satisfaction through service quality at CV. Cokro 2000 that engaged in business sales of Honda Motorcycle in credit. The method in this research was qualitative method with phenomenology approach. So the researher’s role was as main instrument that directly involved in collecting the data through observation and interview. Therefore, the data was accurate according with the research needed. Data analyzed in this research was SWOT analysis. Those are strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats. Based on the research result and data analysis, it can be concluded that the Strategy in supporting customer satisfaction through service quality that developed by CV. Cokro 2000 is based on the strategy concept of service quality to attract the customer so that their stuff are in demand. In addition, the customer feel satisfy with the stuff of CV. Cokro 2000. It’s engaged in Honda Motorcycle selling by credit system. Fund in CV. Cokro 2000 is got from FIF (Federal International Finence). FIF gave fund such Honda motorcycles and CV Cokro 2000 run the effort with good service strategy.Keywords: Strategy, Satisfaction, Service, CV Cokro, Business.

Abstract

This research is intended to find ant organization climate (psychological dimension, structural dimension, social dimension and bureaucratic dimension) toward employee’s work satisfaction at PT. PLN Lhokseumawe branch. This research is also intended to find at dominant variable that influences employees’ work satisfaction at PT. PLN Lhokseumawe branch. This research is conducted at PT. PLN Lhokseumawe branch with population the whole employees’ with sample 66 employees’. The scope of the research is the influence of organization’s climate toward employee’s work satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) Lhokseumawe branch. Based on the result, all variables have siqnificant influence toward employees’ work satisfaction at PT. PLN Lhokseumawe branch. This can be seen from the value Fhitung = 57.714, while Ftabel at the siqnificant level α = 5 % equals to 2.53. the value R – Square or coefitien is determined 0,791. this show that 79,1 % variable is explained by un investigated variable. Based on partial test, it is found that all investigated variable have siqnificant influence toward employees’ work satisfaction because in this research all variable qets thitung > ttabel an siqnificant level α = 5 %.Keywords: Organization climate, employee’s

Abstract

Work motivation is an important factor for the organization to achieve its goal. Various efforts are carryout by an organization to improve the staff motivation. Thos efforts were implemented by human resources (HR) training and promotion policy. Realizing that leadership style and promotion policy are the key elements of human resource management. This research considers that it is important to analyze the work motivation both directly or indirectly. According to the background and the statement of the problem, the aim of the research is to analyze the effect of the leadership style, HR training, and promotion policy on work motivation which consist of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The research was an analytic design cross sectional study which the population of the research was all staffs of PT Pertamina (Persero) Surabaya Regional Office with 70 officials. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The measurement of the variables was described in the statement form of items with interval scale as the reference. The score shift is 1-5. the variable used are leadership style, HR training, promotion policy, and work motivation. Moreover, the research results suggested that there is no direct effect of leadership style on work motivation, but it has indirect effect on work motivation through promotion.Keywords: leadership style, HR training, promotion policy, work motivation

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship orientation toward market orientation and cooperation performance. The research population is primary cooperation in Palu, that include 70 primary cooperations which is still active in operation until year of 2009, with the CEO from every cooperation as a respondents. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested through Second Order conformatory factory analysis (CFA) and path analysis is used to test research hypothesis. Research result shows that: (1) Entrepreneurship orientation affect cooperation performance (2) Entrepreneurship orientation affect market orientation (3) market orientation affect cooperation performance (4) Entrepreneurship orientation affect cooperation performance through market orientation. The implication of this research, is how to integrate entrepreneurship orientation and market orientation as an effort to improve cooperation performance.Keywords: Entrepreneurship orientation, market orientation, cooperation performance

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to formulate a strategy to enhance the local revenue especially from the garbage disposal and cleaning charges in Malang city. Using Quantitative Strategies Planning Matrix (QSPM) as a tool of strategic management, the result shows that there are two strategies that can be used to enhance local revenue such as intensive and integrative strategy. Intensive strategies can be done through revising the garbage disposal and cleaning charges law regulation in Malang city; improving the collection system; and improving the calculation of garbage disposal and cleaning potential charges. In the other hand, integrative strategies can be implemented through improving the monitoring of disposal and cleaning charges collection; optimizing the socialization process by social organization; and optimizing the monitoring of local legislative.Keywords: Garbage disposal and cleaning charges, Strategic Management, and QSPM

Abstract

From the marketing perspective, Internet banking is a virtual branch that provides much convenience to customers. This study aims to determine the factors that determine the non-financial performance are reviewed from the perspective of internet banking customers. The population in this study are all customers of Bank Mandiri Branch Mojokerto who use Internet banking service, while the sampling technique using the quota sampling. The analysis technique used was factor analysis. The results of factor analysis that examined 19 variables showed that the internet banking non-financial performance is determined by 6 factors. The first factor consists of account information, balances, account details and a medium for transactions. The second factor that functions as the information rate, error free, and functions to change the pin number, displacement and transfer. The third factor is safety, operations, accuracy, the amount of information that can be given. The fourth factor is the form of presentation in the Internet, many services that can be given. The fifth factor is the information processing time, time access to bank sites, responsiveness. The sixth factor is the introduction and provision of information, customer service.Keywords: Non-financial performace, Internet banking, customer perpective.
