Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the capacity of Prof. Dr. Hazairin Universityin improving health of the organization and changes of marketing strategic. The data consist of the policy effective in Prof. Dr. Hazairin University from 2010 to 2015. Analysis tool used is the SWOT analysis by calculating the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.This study showed the functioning of market segmentation strategy, targeting strategy, positioning strategy, differentiation, focus and efficiency as element the competitive power of Prof. Dr. Hazairin University. This confirms the importance of applying a total quality management system for enhanced health of the organization a higher educational institution.

Abstract

The underlying concept of using the Economic Value Added (EVA) measurement method is the Management by Open Book (MBOB) which has a brief understanding of openness or transparency. The basis of the MBOB system is that the information received by employees should not only help them do the job effectively, but also to understand how to help the company as a whole in achieving its vision and mission. Using quantitative descriptive research method with research object of PT Gudang Garam Tbk, PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk and PTBentoel Internasional Investama in 2011 until 2015, this research giving a description about company's financial performance. Based on the result from research known that PT Gudang Garam Tbk and PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk produced positive EVA and MVA values for 5 (five) years of the research period. PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk got negative EVA value during the last 4 (four) years of research. Meanwhile, the MVA value of the three companies was positive.

Abstract

This research aims to review, analyze, and provide empirical evidence about the influence of intellectual capital, intellectual capital disclosure, and financial performance on listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this research is 525 companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange 2011-2015. 365 companies were taken as a sample of this research using purposive sampling method. The research method used was multiple linear regression analysis. Intellectual capital was measured using VAICTM; intellectual capital disclosure was measured using intellectual capital disclosure index; corporate financial performance was measured using Return of Assets (ROA), and firm value was measured using Tobin’s Q. This study found that intellectual capital has no effect on firm value, while intellectual capital disclosure and corporate financial performance have positive influence on firm value. Future research is suggested to use cross-country companies as the sample.

Abstract

Human resources is driving an important role in the organization or company. That for management activities goes well, the company should have employees who are experienced, high skilled, and efforts to managed the company as optimal as possible so that the company's performance increases. The common company's problems is employee turnover, so the purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that cause employee turnover at the Grand Mansion Blitar.  The Grand Mansion Hotel chosed by authorsbecause the high rates of turnover that occurred in the hotel and theauthorswant to find and analyzed the factors that make the high rate of turnover. This study is exploratory research and aimed to identify the factors that caused employee turnover at the Grand Mansion Hotel. The data were collected by questionnaires that distributed to respondents who have stopped working from the Grand Mansion Hotel. The results showed thatthe caused of employee  turnover is classified into four factors, that is the guarantee and the working environment, relationships within the company, personal needs, and the company's internal problems.

Abstract

The operator of gas stations have an important role in providing services to consumers. Gas station owners have to look at the position as a provider of human resources that need to be considered. However, many gas station operators who feel injustice in terms of remuneration, distribution of working hours, job guarantees, and the treatment gas station owner. This study aimed to determine the effect of distributive injustice and interactional justice on job satisfaction and employee engagement. The object of this study was Pertamina gas station employee who served as an operator in Jakarta. Data were taken from 200 respondents who are gas stations operator of the five areas in Jakarta. The data in this study used the statistical method of SEM with LISREL statistical program. The results showed that perceptions of interactional justice have an influence on a job satisfaction gas stations operator, job satisfaction affects the employee engagement, and there is no relationship between distributive justices on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Limitations of access and loss of various life assets caused by tsunami and conflicts in Aceh faced by farmers have influenced their survival. The purpose of this research is to analyze the model of factor determination of farmer's assets after the-tsunami in Aceh. This study was conducted in Aceh Province covering five areas: Aceh Barat, Aceh Besar, Pidie Jaya, Bireun and Aceh Utara. The total sample for this study was 280 farmers. Sampling method used is stratified random sampling method. This research used primary data obtained by survey using questionnaire and secondary data. Data was analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling model is by measurement model. Model 2 is used as the final model for the construct of the farmer's living assets as it demonstrates good model compatibility. It also indicates that all loading factor values are above 0.5 and all probability values are significant at a = 1%. It indicated that all indicators can explain the existing constructs.

Abstract

Agroindustry as one of agribusiness system sub has important role in movement of national economy activity. Besides, role of agroindustry especially having location in rural is to increase industry earnings, as well as increasing quality than it self agricultural produce. This research is aim (1) to analyze and test creativity influence to revenues innovation on industry brass company Bamboo Handycaraf in Jember Regency. Abstract

This study examined the mediating role of corporate entrepreneurship in the effects of corporate reputation, strategic leadership, and corporate culture on corporate performance, in turn, the moderating role of entrepreneurial action in the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and corporate performance. This study was organization- level of 24 business units. From each business unit, this study selected six to nine respondents consisting of the general manager, manager, supervisor, and senior staff; 156 respondents totally. Structural equation modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to test the measurement model of each construct. In addition, SEM-PLS also used to verify the mediating role of corporate entrepreneurship as well as the moderating role of entrepreneurial action. The results showed that corporate reputation, strategic leadership, and corporate culture were positively associated with corporate performance through corporate entrepreneurship as a mediator. Moreover, the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and corporate performance was strengthened by entrepreneurial action. Entreprises should develop, maintain, and improve their intangibles resources to provide the good entrepreneurship value for them. The good entrepreneurship value may improve the corporate performance which strengthened by entrepreneurial action.

Abstract

The research aims toexplore mentor dan mentee's insights toward business and accounting teaching and learning model in entrepreneurship context which able to create a creative business. The research subject is business and accounting teaching and learning model in Universitas Ciputra's Management Study Program, which is applied to project based and using mentoring approach. Informants are facilitators and students who are building start-up businesses. The research uses a qualitative method and case study approach. Results show that Students gain positive insight into business and accounting teaching and learning method that is applied, Facilitators applied the creative method to reach the optimal teaching and learning result, and engagement pattern in form of mentoring is agreed by both parties. These research results are wished to be used for higher education who is working on their entrepreneurship teaching and learning pattern aiming for creating creative businesses.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the ability of Good Corporate Governance Moderating TheEffect of Audit Management to managerial performance, analyze Good Corporate Governance moderating the effectof internal control to managerial performance. The population of this studyis all of managerial from 20 banking companiesin Pekanbaru amounted 60 people. The respondents are the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Head of the company's internal control system and Head of Operations. In this study, sampling was done by the distribution of questionnaires that distributed to the entire managerial banks in Pekanbaru. The type of data in this study is primary data. Analysis tool used Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that Good Corporate Governance able to moderate the effectof management audit to managerial performance of banking in Pekanbaru. Good corporate governance able to moderate the effect of the internal control to managerial performance of banks in Pekanbaru.
