Abstract

Marketing is an effort of the hospital to get and keep the customers. This study aimed to know the influence of brand (brand image and brand awareness), social factors and personal factors to the behavior of Teja Member Club (TMC) on choosing the health services in Teja Husada Hospital. This research categorized as explanatory research with cross sectional approach. This research involved 62 members of TMC. Questionnaires about brand image, brand awareness, social factors and personal factors as well as the behavior of members of TMC on choosing the health services in Teja Husada Hospital were used. The data analysis used linear regression test with White's Robust Standard Error. The results found all independent variables influence simultaneously to the behavior of members of TMC on choosing the health services in Teja Husada Hospital and brand awareness is the dominant variable. Partial test results indicate that only brand awareness that has an influence on the behavior of respondents on choosing the health services in Teja Husada Hospital.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership style, organizational communication, and employee participation on employee readiness for changes in business environment at Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in creative economy industrial sector, in partnership program of PT Pertamina (Persero) with criteria of having been established for at least 5 years, employing 20-99 personnels. Based on the criteria, only 3 SMEs meet the requirements; they are located in Bogor, Depok and Jakarta. This study involved 40 people, consisting of SME owners and employees. This study conducted descriptive analysis as well as Structural Equation Modeling PLS. The study resulted that both leadership style and organizational communication brought positive impact directly to employee participation, as well as positive impact indirectly to employee readiness for changes in business environment. In addition, employee participation also created direct positive influence to employee readiness for changes in business environment. The study results also suggest owners to actively communicate regarding planning for changes to improve employee participation. Nonetheless, both SME owners and PT Pertamina (Persero) shall continuously conduct relevant trainings.

Abstract

Abstract: Sagori island waters is rich of coral reef and reef fish with high economic value. It's has also been designated as a general use zone by the government. In the other side, the needs of consumption is increasing by the growth of people in the Island and neighbours as well. Those condition, presumed as the main factor for fisherman to increase their effort in catching the reef fishes, in any possible way. However, Visual Census technique (VCT) shows that that the number of reef fish was spread evenly on a coral reef condition is still good enough, but are not in a reverse condition. That is then presumed as the static production value of coral reef ecosystem (SPV). The economic value of coral reefs per hectare in Sagori Islands is shown based on Present Value Generated per Hectare (PV) which state that people in Sagori Island has just use about 56.99% of the resources. By cash flow analysis within projected to 10 years ahead, this fisheries business unit shows that it is still good to be performed.

Abstract

This Research aims to find out: Whether is the empowerment of fishermen community which done by government give positive impact to reducing poverty, and how to influence of the empowerment of fishermen community towards reducing poverty in south minahasa regency. This research used quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods and population is all of family are 720 fishermen. Sample is 10 % of 720 fishermen with proportional random sampling. The result of this research showed that the empowerment of fishermen community and reducing powerty in south minahasa regency have positive correlation and significant influence. The empowerment of fishermen program by government gave reducing poverty of fishermen if the fishermen could have managing efficiently and effectively. Fishermen in the group has been increasing the tools of fishermen as "giob" and "pajeko" can increasing his income and reducing the poverty.

Abstract

One of the family business challenges is how to sustain the business success from generation to generation. PT Sandimas Intimitra made a strategic decision to develop values-based leadership when the founder decided to retire and the second generation took over the leadership roles of business. This paper based on three research questions: (1) at what level is the leadership capacity of the current managers, (2) what kinds of values are relevant to be cultivated for the whole organization (3) what are the initiative programs to be developed for cultivating the values role for the whole organization?. This study used a mixed method approach, which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. A qualitative approach was used to answer the question what kind of values are relevant to be cultivated?. The qualitative approach used the 5D cycles of appreciative inquiry. While the quantitative approach used descriptive statistics to answer: at what level is the leadership capacity of the current management board and what are the initiative programs to be developed for cultivating the values role for the whole organization The conclusion of this research are: (1) PT Sandimas Intimitra need to increase the leadership capacity of the current managers, (2) there are seven values that are relevant to the new vision and mission to be cultivated, namely: integrity, responsibility, sense of belonging, learning, creative, consistent and quality, (3) the management of PT Sandimas Intimitra prosecuted for more serious role as a role model, promoter, and protector of the seven values especially creative, quality and consistent values.

Abstract

This research was conducted at smallholder plantation in Aceh Province in January- March 2015. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence farmers in choosing marketing channel in smallholder oil palm plantation in Aceh Province. The analytical method used in this study was multinomial logit. The result of the analysis shows that several factors, namely the age of farmers, production volume, loan capital, and the price of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) are the factors that become the basis of consideration of farmers in choosing marketing channel of large traders. Based on the result of regression coefficient, it is known that production volume was the most dominant factor affecting the farmers in choosing marketing channel of large traders. Meanwhile, all independent variables which were analyzed did not have a significant effect on the selection of marketing channels of Palm Oil Factory (POF).

Abstract

this studyanalyze the effect of the movement of macroeconomic variables (SBI, exchange rate, inflation, oil prices and Composite Stock Price Index (JCI)) and predict the stock price of the individual returns and return a proxy INDEX in plantation sub-sector. This study used the analytical techniques of multifactor APT model of equation (Multivariate Regression Model) to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables on stock returns in plantation sub-sector group. Furthermore,the formation of the share price index estimation model APT as a proxy (proxy INDEX) was done. Methods Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) was used to study the response of stock returns and risk to changes in macroeconomic variables. Factor in world oil prices and a significant negative effect on stock returns AALI, LSIP, SGRO, SMAR, TBLA, UNSP and return the proxy INDEX. exchange rates factors provide a positive and significant affect to stock returns AALI, LSIP, SMAR, TBLA and return the proxy INDEX. SBI Factors had a significantly negative affect to the return TBLA, while the SBI had positive affect to return AALI, SMAR and return the proxy INDEX. Inflation factor had a significantly positive effect to returns TBLA and had a significantly negative effect to the change in return INDEX proxy. Agricultural index and JCI index had a significantly positive effect to stock returns AALI, LSIP, SGRO, SMAR, TBLA, UNSP and return the proxy INDEX.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of Total Quality Management (TQM) on Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) performance through organizational commitment mediation on tempeh chips SME in Sanan, Malang. The research use 30 SMEs sample as respondents, considerating SMEs with PIRT and Halal certificates, data analysis was done with WarpPLS 5.0. The research result show that TQM has positive significant impact on SME organisasional commitment. Organizational commitment has significant impact on SME performance. The result also show that the organizational commitment does not mediate the significant impact of TQM on SME performance.

Abstract

This research is located in the community plantation of Margamulya village and Cisondari Village, Pasirjambu District Bandung Regency is one of export quality tea producer. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of extension worker and knowledge of canvas business model analysis (MBC) in an effort to increase the business of Tani Teh Rakyat group by using descriptive and verification research method. The result of the research shows that t-test of agricultural extension performance (X1) tcount (6,234)> ttable (1,675), while MBC (X2) tcount (1,777)> ttable (1,675), X1 and X2 have significant effect to business group peasant tea (Y). Ftest results obtained Fcount> Ftabel is 19.542> 3.18. With the limitations of this study, further research is needed to assess the development of competence of agriculture extension agents and farmers improvement strategies, especially for areas that are still weak in assistance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) perceptions influence on customer satisfaction on the service of PT. Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong; (2) actual performance influence on customer satisfaction on the service of PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong; (3) Customer expectations influence on satisfaction on the service quality of PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong; (4) Satisfaction influences on customer purchasing decisionsof PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong. This study was performed at PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong. The method used was descriptive quantitative. The population of this research was the service users of PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong.The study sample was 50 respondents by purposive sampling. Data collection was done by using survey and questionnaire. Data were analyzed usingmodel of Partial Least Square (PLS) with t-test using smart PLS version 2.0.M3 software. The result shows that: (1) consumer perceptions Affect the customer satisfaction amounted to 0.681 greater than loading value above 0.50, it means that there is significant influence perception variables on customer satisfaction on PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong Travel; (2) the actual performance influence customer satisfaction is 0.823 greater than loading value above 0.50, it means that there is a significant influence of  behaviour variable toward the quality of service of PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong; (3) the customer expectation which influences the customer satisfaction is 1.054 greater than loading value above 0.50, it means that there is a significant influence customer expection variable on costumer satisfaction of PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong Travel. The results showed that the existence of significant influence between customer perception, actual performance, and customer expectation on customer satisfaction that may in turn increase consumer purchases at PT Anugerah Tanjung Tabalong Travel.
